Sebastian's POV

I stand in the Quidditch stands, the vibrant energy of the crowd envelops me, their cheers and roars filling the air. I can't help but feel a sense of excitement coursing through my veins, knowing that soon Ella will grace the field as the Slytherin seeker. The pride and admiration I have for her intensify with each passing day, as our relationship flourishes and deepens.

I watch as the players prepare for the match, their robes billowing in the wind, the sun casting a warm glow on the pitch. But my eyes are fixed on Ella, my heart swelling with a mix of nerves and overwhelming affection. Her determination and passion for the sport radiate from her, making her a force to be reckoned with. She possesses an innate skill and grace on the broom that never fails to captivate me.

As the teams take their positions, I find myself holding my breath, eagerly awaiting the moment Ella takes flight. The sound of the whistle pierces the air, signalling the start of the match, and my gaze remains fixed on her, tracing her every movement across the field. She soars through the air, her eyes sharp and vigilant, scanning the field for any sign of the elusive snitch. Her hair dances around her face in the wind, and I can't help but be captivated by her grace and skill. She exudes a sense of confidence and control that leaves me in awe.

The game intensifies, and the tension in the stands grows. Gryffindor proves to be a formidable opponent, their chasers putting up a fierce fight against our team. Yet, Ella remains unfazed, deftly evading their attempts to hinder her progress. I can't help but admire her resilience and unwavering focus. But amidst the excitement, my eyes catch sight of Hunter, who has taken the field as well. He swats away the bludgers with precision, his gaze occasionally flickering towards Ella. Jealousy ignites within me, and my grip tightens on the railing. I despise him and his presence near Ella only fuels my anger.

Suddenly, a commotion erupts on the field, and I strain to see what's happening. Gryffindor's seeker has spotted the snitch and is speeding towards it, but Ella is right on his tail. My heart pounds in my chest as I watch their thrilling chase unfold. Ella manoeuvres with grace and determination, refusing to let Gryffindor claim victory as the match plays on.

My attention is torn as a bludger relentlessly pursues Ella, hounding her with relentless aggression. My heart clenches with worry, but she refuses to be deterred. Her eyes shine with a fierce resolve, and she kicks off from her broomstick, executing a daring move. My breath catches as she reaches out, snatching the snitch from the air just as it slips past her. The stands erupt with jubilation, green and silver colours swirling in celebration. Slytherin has won the Quidditch Cup, and my pride in Ella swells to new heights.

Beside me, Ominis beams with pride, and I can't help but share in his joy. "She did it, Ominis! We won!" I exclaim, my voice filled with admiration. The sound of Professor Kogawa's whistle marks the end of the match, and the commentator's voice echoes throughout the stadium, declaring Slytherin's victory.

Ella glides back towards the Quidditch stands, her eyes scanning the crowd until they meet mine. A radiant smile illuminates her face, and my heart skips a beat. "You were incredible out there!" I call out, my voice filled with genuine awe. The crowd chants her name, but my attention remains solely on her.

Her eyes sparkle with joy as she traces her fingers over the necklace I had given her, her face soft and full of gratitude. "I'll meet you and Ominis back in the Great Hall," Ella shouts, flying back to her teammates who are all revelling in the glory of their victory. Imelda hoists the Quidditch Cup high, and the team erupts in cheers.

But my joy was short-lived, and my heart tightened in my chest as I watched Hunter's lingering gaze on Ella, his eyes filled with a mixture of admiration and desire. I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my palms as a surge of jealousy washed over me. The crowd's cheers and the victory celebrations faded into the background as my focus narrowed solely on Hunter's presence near Ella.

The protective instincts within me surged to the surface, threatening to consume me. I couldn't bear the thought of him getting any closer to Ella, and every fibre of my being screamed for me to intervene. Just as my frustration reached its peak, Imelda intervened, positioning herself between Hunter and Ella, effectively shielding her from his approach.

A sense of relief washed over me, grateful for Imelda's quick thinking and unwavering loyalty. Hunter's intentions remained unclear, but I couldn't shake the feeling that he posed a threat to the happiness I had found with Ella. I needed to stay vigilant, keeping a watchful eye on him, ensuring he didn't encroach any further into our lives.

Ominis and I made our way into the bustling Great Hall, our steps matching the rhythm of the excited chatter and laughter that filled the air. The aroma of delicious food wafted through the room, teasing our senses and making our mouths water. As my gaze swept across the sea of students, my heart skipped a beat when I spotted Ella, surrounded by our friends, her radiant smile illuminating the room.

Approaching the table, I couldn't help but feel a rush of emotions. Admiration, love, and a touch of nervousness coursed through me, knowing that this moment held a significance that went beyond the Quidditch victory. I leaned down, my lips gently touching her forehead, silently conveying my pride and affection for her. A surge of contentment washed over me as her smile deepened, the love in her eyes reflecting my own.

Our friends couldn't resist chiming in, their playful teasing breaking the bubble of intimacy that enveloped us. I shrugged off their comments, my focus fixated solely on Ella. Her blush, a delicate shade of pink, made her all the more enchanting as she looked up at me, her voice filled with warmth and tenderness.

"Hi," she greeted me, her words carrying a softness that melted my heart.

"Hey," I replied, my voice filled with adoration. Taking my place beside her, I revelled in the simple joy of being near her, my eyes never tiring of the sight of her beauty.

Amidst the playful banter of our friends, their words filled with admiration for our relationship, I remained undisturbed. Their whispers of "relationship goals" and "couple of the year" became distant echoes as I focused on the connection that bound us, the profound bond that made us inseparable.

Ella's hair, tousled by the winds of the game, added a touch of wildness to her charm, while her eyes danced with a vibrant energy that mirrored her excitement. In those moments, I couldn't help but be grateful for the privilege of having her by my side, a source of inspiration and unwavering support.

As we savoured the meal before us, our conversation with the guys effortlessly flowed, seamlessly transitioning from the game to the upcoming Masquerade ball. Ella's eyes sparkled with anticipation, the prospect of finding the perfect dress igniting her enthusiasm. My own excitement soared as I imagined her in a gown that would showcase her beauty to the world. Together, we would be a vision of elegance and enchantment.

Imelda's eyes sparkled with excitement as she scanned the table. "Girls, now that the game is done, we can finally go shopping tomorrow! We need to find some amazing dresses!" she exclaimed; her enthusiasm infectious.

As the other girls eagerly joined in, discussing their plans for shopping, and picking out dresses for the upcoming Masquerade ball, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. It was heart-warming to see Ella having fun and enjoying herself after the stress of Quidditch season and the addition of everything that's going on.

Drawing closer to Ella, I leaned in, my voice a gentle whisper in her ear, my words laced with love and adoration. "I can already envision you in a dress, my darling. You will outshine everyone in the room, a true vision of beauty."

Ella met my gaze, her eyes filled with a mixture of emotions, love shining through above all. "I love you," she murmured softly, her words a sweet melody that resonated deep within my heart.

A surge of warmth washed over me, melting away any lingering doubts or worries. "I love you too," I replied, my voice filled with sincerity and gratitude for the immeasurable gift of her love in my life.

I couldn't resist teasing her a little. "You know, Ella, I might have to keep a close eye on you at the ball. With you looking so stunning, every guy will be fighting for your attention. But don't worry, I'll be there to protect you from their charms and might have to cast a few dangerous spells to keep them away." giving her a wink.

Ella raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a playful smile. "Oh, really? Are you afraid of a little competition, Sebastian? I thought you were confident in your own charms."

I chuckled, leaning in even closer. "Confident? Of course, I am. But I can't let those poor souls embarrass themselves trying to win you over. It's my duty as your knight in shining armour to ensure they know their place."

She laughed, a melodic sound that warmed my heart. "Well, I must say, I appreciate your chivalrous efforts, but you should know that I'm not easily swayed."

A mischievous grin spread across my face, the playful banter dancing in the air between us. "Oh, I know that all too well. But that doesn't mean I won't relish being your one AND ONLY personal bodyguard."

Ella's eyes sparkled with amusement as she gave my shoulder a playful nudge. "Is that so? Just don't get too possessive, Mr. Smooth Talker."

I leaned back, feigning surprise. "Me? Possessive? Never." I paused, a mischievous glint in my eyes. "Okay, maybe just a little. But can you blame me? You're absolutely enchanting."

She rolled her eyes, but there was a hint of affection in her gaze. "You really know how to charm a girl, don't you?"

I shrugged, a smug smile playing on my lips. "What can I say? It's one of my many talents, as you well know."

We continued to exchange playful banter, enjoying each other's company and building anticipation for the upcoming ball.In that moment, as we teased and laughed, I couldn't help but feel a deep senseof gratitude for having Ella in my life. She was my partner, my confidante, andmy love, and I couldn't wait to create more memories with her by my side.
