~Bodil's POV~
I loved last night. I wonder how Double feels.
I mean, I did go almost the whole night. He's still sleeping..
Yeah, I went far.
Enough to make Double very tired apparently.
So I just wake up normally, sitting on the bed with my husband, still sleeping on the side.
He looks so adorable! I stretch out my sleeping limbs.
Standing up, I go to the bathroom, just getting ready.
I was thinking of going to Sky's house once Double woke up.
I needed a bit more advice to take care of kids..
Sakuya, Kosa and Brittney, I know it's not gonna be the only ones I needed to care for all the time.
After all, I'm the 'Dad' dad.
I needed to take care of them the most. They're growing up now.
In the future, I know there's gonna be more situations of taking care of kids.
Sky and Deadlox adopted a child, but I don't know.
For us, it could be troubling if the child couldn't handle it.
I guess it's the matter of luck.
Dreadlox was already downstairs, making pancakes for the kids.
I asked if he could look over the kids and Double while I'll go buy something.
Accepted, I run out the door with my black jacket and run to the market.
Without watching better, I run into someone.
~Double's POV~
I woke up when a cold breeze passed through my hair.
Sitting up, I see the opened door, letting calm breezes inside.
I look to the side of me, Bodil was gone.
What happened yesterday? I didn't remember much.
Just something about that made me really tired afterwards..
I get out of bed and put my shirt on.
I brush my teeth, fix my hair, all that stuff.
Feeling a bit sleepy, I walk into the kitchen with the kids and Dreadlox, eating breakfast.
Actually, Dreadlox was drinking a milkshake.
I forgot that he doesn't need food.
All he needs is his milkshake. I don't understand what's with his milkshake logic.
I guess I just don't need to question it.
I sit in a extra chair and feed Kosa.
What I learned is that Kosa was actually blind on one eye.
He still needed glasses though.
His vision was a bit bad that he couldn't really focus on things close. Mostly far.
Dreadlox gave Bodil's breakfast to me.
I guess he skipped breakfast. I wonder where he went though.
Just when I finish the last pancake piece, Bodil bust open the door.
"I'M HOME!" He shouts as if he drank 12 energy drinks.
He runs to eat, hugging me lightly. "Hello my great man!"
I giggle and hug back. I kiss him.
Patting his head, I clean up, fixing my glasses as well.
He grabs my wrist. He urges to say a question.
In confusion, I turn around, ready to listen to his question.
"I was wondering if you want to go to Sky's and Deadlox's place."
"Why?"
"Advice on how to take care of kids better. Maybe even support their new marriage!"
True, could be nice to hear some advice from other parents.
And supporting the new marriage in a way.
They were already married, just not in a.. Uh.. How to say it..
A public way, yeah.
Until I could agree, I forgot to tell Bodil something.
Something that I did not mention and thought it wasn't necessary, but now, I think it is necessary.
"Um. Bodil. I may not go. I have new job!"
"You do?" He stares with a curious look.
"It's an author job. I'm making stories now." I smiled as I say it with pride.
He instantly jump onto me for a hug.
He was interested, begging to read my stories to check how it is.
I explained that it was only short stories in 1 book.
At least, that's what I'm planning to do.
He said he can come if I could, but I explained that I might need to start today, so I decided to stay home to do the stories on the computer.
It's my own writing and it's free to be provided to the world, so my boss lets me upload stories.
Just be careful with the mistakes, that's all.
~Bodil's POV~
I knew Double's job was important, so I went alone to Sky's and Deadlox's house.
While walking, I was still wondering who that person I bump into..
~Flashback~
I rub my head, getting my shades that had fallen off and putting it back on.
Standing up, I provided my hand to the person that I bump into.
He had a hoodie, hiding his face in the darkness of the inside hood.
What stand out a bit was the mask he was wearing.
Trying to ignore it, I asked if he was okay.
He said he was fine, but very hungry. He wasn't homeless.
He was just less on money as he explained.
Me being a nice gal sometimes, I gave half of my sandwich that I brought earlier.
What send shivers down my spine was a black goo-like tongue coming from out of the mask's mouth.
He eats it, leaving a bit of black saliva, dripping from my hand.
I shake it off and looked back at the man.
Was that really a mask.. Or a face..?
Even though I knew magical creatures could exist, this is not what I expect to see from a creature much.
He was a bit.. Unusual. I couldn't tell if it was Dreadlox pranking me.
If not.. This is just creepy.
I said my goodbyes and ran as fast as I could back home.
~Flashback ends~
Noticing that I almost walk into their door, I stop and just knock on it.
Deadlox opens the door with a cat in his arms.
"Hi Bodil! How you doing?"
"Good, just here to visit and talk crap." I giggled.
He just laughed a little and insist to just sit on the couch until he's finish with whatever he was doing.
I asked where Sky was, and he just laughed as his lazy ass husband was in bed, just sleeping still.
Once he was finished with whatever he was doing, he sits down next to me with the cat.
"So, what made you come here?"
I was a little hesitant to talk, but I had no fear. "I'm wanting to know how to take care of a kid better."
"What?" He seem a bit surprised.
It wasn't really what I expected. "I know, kinda stupid."
"I guess.. I thought you knew how to take care of kids better. I mean, you have Brittney, Sakuya, and Kosa."
"First off, Brittney had been mostly taken care of by one of my friends until deciding to live with me more. Sakuya is basically taking care of himself after Double protecting him so much, showing him knowledge. Kosa is being taken care of Sakuya most of the time and for staying in the house very much, he doesn't really get in trouble." I explained very clearly with my lovely Bulgarian accent.
He did giggle a little. "Then what is that you need to care for?"
"Uh.. Might sound stupid, but I kinda need to know how to control them, IF they get crazy. Or at least know how to plan perfect days for taking them out to somewhere." I scratched my head like an idiot.
He look away for a bit, staring at Trent, who was studying in her notebook at the kitchen counter.
He looked back and had an idea, at least that's what I think from seeing his face lit up.
"Well, to control them out, at least let them each talk the situation in their point-of-view. For planning, at least ask each kid if they wanna go. At least, this is what Sky and I do for Trent and she's pretty tamed from the few attempts." He nervously smiled, indicating that he might get a 'No, that might not work' out of me with an angry tone.
But I honestly agreed. It doesn't hurt to try a few attempts.
If it works, then I'll keep doing it.
I do know Double takes care of them too, but he has a job.
I mostly stay at home, so taking care of the kids is what I need to do.
I stand up from the couch, providing my hand for a handshake to Deadlox.
"I think I'll try it. Thank you for giving advice at least."
"You're welcome." He smiles and shakes my hand.
Afterwards, I went back home with the advice, roaming in my head.
This time, I'll be a great 'Dad' dad!
