"Sorry!" Mark holds his hands up in surrender. "But seriously, why don't you just talk to them?"
"And tell them what?"
"That you wanna be treated like whoever it is you're jealous of."
"I would but they'd ask me who it is. Or worse, figure it out and I don't wanna hurt him." Shotaro pouts. "I love him." Mark pulls the male into his arms and hugs him. Shotaro sighs. "It would be so much easier if I didn't feel like this." He looks down at his lap. "That's not even all of it."
"Do you wanna tell me?"
"Not only is this person, like, our favorite person, but everyone chooses him. One time, I ended up mentioning how most of us have one person we're closer to but we all love each other, which isn't surprising, but", he pauses. "Hendery is my best friend because in a room full of people, he'll choose me."
"What makes you think they wouldn't choose you? That your friends wouldn't choose all of you?"
"There's an obvious difference when we meet up. We all greet each other...but the excitement is for him." He takes another pause. "I used to like one of them but he didn't pick me. He's still not picking me. I'm not interested but it's a stab when realizing that he's also choosing that person I'm jealous of."
Thoughts run through Marks mind, trying to piece together the information. Instead of questioning the male more, he just hugs him tighter.
"You have me too, okay?"
"Can I ask why you care so much?"
"That would be my fatal flaw." Mark looks down. "Um, I always care...a lot. And I'm always ready to be friends, I just...don't try sometimes. It took me forever to stop being completely awkward with Jisung and get closer to him."
"I think the fact that you care a lot, for people you love, and even for someone like me, that you're not close to, is one of the best things about you."
Mark smiles. "Thank you."

"You don't have to."
"Oh, we're doing this now?"

Renjun caresses Sungchans hair and looks down at his hidden face in worry. "Is something wrong?"
"No", Sungchan mumbles.
"Then why does it seem like it? Are you mad at me?"

"I'm just confused and maybe conflicted. And I don't wanna talk about it. It's fine, I promise."
"Are you sure?"
"Mhm. It's nice when I don't think about it and all of you help with that."
"Alright." Renjun pecks Sungchans forehead. Sungchan is glad the male can't see his face so he doesn't see him blush.
"How's you and Winwin?" Sungchan asks. He winces, knowing it's probably not the best thing to ask but at least, it sounds like him.
"We're good. He makes me happy. He's so cute too. Like, much cuter than he seems. I love when he blushes."
"Is it easy to make him blush?"
Renjun nods. "It's fairly easy. I just can't believe I almost missed out on this. I hate how we used to be before and I'm so glad we're together now. He means everything to me and I want him to know that."
"I'm sure you're doing a great job. Winwin is already happy that you two are dating and you love him. You don't have to try too hard or beat yourself over the past or even what you think you're not doing now. You show Winwin you love him everytime you're with him. Your face shows how much you love him. He knows."

"I don't think anyone would if they didn't believe your feelings for them. Sounds like they're setting themselves up for failure."

Doyoung is about to leave the restaurant when he catches sight of someone sitting in the dimly lit dining room.
"Ana? What are you doing?"
The girl looks up. "Oh, sorry, I was just trying to get this assignment done."
"Working here isn't getting in the way of your assignments, is it?"
She shakes her head. "Oh, no. Plus, I need this job."
"Can I ask you a personal question?"
"Sure."
"Do you have anyone to...help you out? Like financially? You never mention your parents."
"That's because I don't know them. They abandoned me. I'm in college on a scholarship and being as I can barely afford my apartment, I can't afford to lose that too."
"How long have you been on your own?"
Ana shrugs. "About three years. They left when I was sixteen. I had friends and their parents help me out but there's only so much they can do and I have to take care of myself."
"That's really fucked up of your parents."
"It is but there's nothing I can do about it. They didn't wanna be there so they just left."
"I'm sorry. Really." Ana nods. "I can already imagine your answer but I'm gonna ask anyways, will you let me help you?"
"What?"
"I wanna help you and make things easier for you."
"How, exactly?"
"One, whenever you need to eat, you can eat here, okay? I don't want you starving and if you crave a slice of cheesecake on a Saturday morning for breakfast, that's fine."
The girl laughs. "I probably won't but thank you."
"Second of all, if you need a little extra money for rent, you can have it. You're a hard worker and you deserve it. I want you to have a roof over your head and food to eat. Thirdly, if you need help with your assignments, please ask. I might not always be able to help you personally but I have like ten friends so they can help you."
"Thank you. I really appreciate it."
Doyoung nods and then points to her textbook and papers. "Do you need help right now?"
"Yeah, actually, if you don't mind."
"It's not a problem."
Doyoung sits down next to her and looks at what she's doing. A sense of familiarity takes over him as he recalls learning the same thing. He begins to explain and Ana takes down notes, listening attentively. With Doyoungs help, Ana is able to finish the assignment much faster than she would've on her own. Once she packs up her things, she meets Doyoung by the door and steps out so he can lock up.
"I just wanna thank you again. It would've taken me so long."
"It's really no problem." Doyoung looks around at the deserted street. "You take the bus, don't you?"
"Yeah. I should go now."
"I can give you a ride."
"Oh, that's a nice offer but-"
"Nevermind, you're letting me drop you off." Doyoung starts walking and then says, "Don't make me drag you."
"That certainly won't look concerning at all", Ana says, catching up to him. Doyoung sighs, making the girl laugh. "Thank you for this too."
Inside the car, Doyoung responds, "I didn't know being told 'thank you' could be so annoying."
"Fine, I won't say thank you anymore."
"Good."
"I was joking."
"I know."

"You're home later than usual", Taeyong says when Doyoung enters his apartment, already used to his boyfriends being there.
"I gave one of my coworkers a ride home."
"Oh, that was nice of you."
The male nods and drapes his jacket over the chair. He lets out a sigh and runs his hands through his hair.
Taeyong pulls him into a hug. "Is something wrong?"
"I'm just concerned. You know, Ana, the college student? I found out that she's been on her own for three years with minimal support and it just makes me angry that's she's been on her own. I offered to help her and I'm hoping she accepts it. It's just unfair. Since she was sixteen, she hasn't been cared for the way she should be."
"But she's okay, right?"
"It seems like it but she's not someone to easily admit she's struggling. You gotta just help her anyways."
Taeyong pulls his boyfriends head against his chest and kisses the top of his chest. He just holds him for a moment, before telling him,"It seems like you do that and I'm sure she is so grateful. She might be struggling now but she'll be okay."
"How do we know that for sure?"
"Well, for one, she has an annoyingly persistent manager who genuinely cares about the people he comes across and people are constantly building support systems, even when they're not trying to. Plus, she's done so well this far. She'll be okay. And I think it's adorable that you care so much."
Doyoung chuckles and lifts his head to kiss Taeyongs cheek. "You saying something is adorable is adorable. Where's Yuta?"
"Asleep. He came over earlier, threw himself on the bed and passed out sleeping. He said to make sure we cuddle him when you get home."
"I suppose we better do that."
Taeyong smiles and kisses Doyoung. "We should."
"I love you."

Nina giggles. "Good morning."
Chenle smiles. "No wonder Renjun was about to lose his mind over you. Oh, did you make breakfast?"
"Yeah. I got up and got hungry so I decided to make breakfast."
Chenle walks back over to Nina, kisses the top of her head and ruffles her hair affectionately. "Thank you, sweetie. Now, I'm gonna go wake up Jisung. Loudly."
"I don't think he'll like that."
"That's why I kiss him. Make sure you never date anyone who isn't head over heels for you. It gives you so much power."
"And happiness, I hope."
"Well, duh. Why would you date someone who doesn't make you happy?" Chenles ex-boyfriend flashes through his mind, which must show on his face because Nina looks at the male in worry.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm gonna tell you a story and it's your job to take the lesson out of it. It's in there somewhere."

Yangyang chuckles. "Someone's excited."
"Of course. I love kids and Nina is adorable. I need to be her favorite uncle."

"Hey, I tried to get along with him", Ten crosses his arms, "but he's mean.'
Yangyang laughs and brings his boyfriend into a backhug and rests his chin on top of his head. "So are you."
"I'm nice. Jungwoo's the mean one."
Yangyang doesn't respond and just kisses the side of Tens face. Ten pulls the male onto his lap and smiles at his boyfriend, being warning enough to Yangyang that he's gonna kiss him. Their lips meet in a soft kiss. Both take their time, feeling no need to rush. Their tongues gently press against each other, neither one doing too much about it. It's not until Ten fully slips his tongue into Yangyangs mouth that the kiss speeds up. Tens hands trail down Yangyangs body and squeeze the back of his thighs. He doesn't do more than that but he still feels hands make their way to the zipper of his jeans, causing him to grin.
"What are you doing?"
"I have ideas."
"Tell me."
So Yangyang does, speaking in Tens ear or against his skin as he kisses his neck, being sure not to leave out any details. He smirks in triumph when he sees that he'll get what he wants.
"Carry me."
"Such a brat." Yangyang continues smiling and waiting for his boyfriend to say yes. "Fine." Ten kisses him. "Only because I love you and you're cute."
"I love you too. And you're also cute, though that's not how I'd describe you right now", Yangyang tells him and then checks him out.
Ten abruptly picks up Yangyang and carries him into the bedroom and then presses him against the wall. "I don't care about your ideas right now, we're doing this first."
"Good."

"Why are you two late?" Taeil asks when Renjun and Winwin show up last.
"I had to drop something off to Dakoda and she was telling me about this new guy."
"Good for her", Johnny says, appearing beside them. At the looks he receives, he rolls his eyes. "I'm serious. I'm happy for her if she's happy. I honestly don't care that much."
"She'll appreciate that. Anyways, where's my Nina?"
"Your Nina?" Chenle asks as he goes in for a hug.
Renjun hugs him back tightly and kisses his cheek. When he pulls away, he answers, "Yes, my Nina."
"Her and Sungchan are cloud watching and talking. The food is with Kun by the way."
"Oh, good, thank you."
Chenle walks back over to where Jisung and their friends are and lays down on Jaemins lap, seeing as Jisung is unavailable (he's laying his head on Yutas lap).
"How long do you think before the chaos starts?"
"One minute. They're all here."
Chenle hums and then asks, "Is anyone getting up?"
"Why?"
"I want more food. I'm hungry."
"I'll get it", Mark says, sitting up from his place on Jenos lap. All too enthusiastically, he gets up and walks over to where Kun is, using the opportunity to check on Shotaro.
"What is he doing?"
"Who is he looking at?"
"Xiaojun?"
"Mark!" Jaehyun calls.
"Coming!"
Mark quickly walks back over to Chenle and sets his food down before jogging over to the basketball court where Jaehyun, Winwin, and Yangyang are. With a quick warning, Yuta gently guides Jisungs head off of his lap and onto the picnic blanket so he can play basketball too.
"Do you wanna play?" Sungchan asks, pointing to the males at the basketball court.
"I'm good but you can play though."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I don't mind."
"Thank you." Sungchan gently ruffles Ninas hair, causing the girl to smile.
Craving a cupcake, Nina gets up and goes over to where Kun, Ten, Jungwoo, and Johnny are, Ten and Johnny in a heated discussion. Kun and Jungwoo smile at her when she approaches.
"Oh, Nina!"
"Uh, yes?" She asks, mildly worried she did something wrong.
"I need your opinion."
"Alright, what is it?"
"If you had a...civil disagreement of sorts—Kunnie, shut up—, then-"
"I didn't even say anything."
Ten smiles at him. "Then stay quiet. Anyways-" Jungwoo and Johnny laugh when Kun stands up, flips Ten off and then walks over to the basketball court.
"Do you wanna sit here?" Jungwoo asks, patting the spot next to him. "You're closer to the dessert."
"Sure."
"What are you reading?" Doyoung asks, plopping down next to Haechan.
"Whatever the title says."
"You don't remember?"
"Honestly, no. What is it?"
"I'm surprised Renjun didn't bring a book", Xiaojun says, looking over at Doyoung and Haechan.
"Fluffy books make him squeal and giggle."
"Oh, right."
"I didn't know Kun played basketball."
"Huh?" Xiaojun looks over at the basketball court in time to see Kun shoot, his shirt lifting up with the movement of his arms, revealing his toned body, and letting a bit of his tattoo peek through. "He's so hot."
"For once, I think you might be right."
"Of course I'm right."
"Doyoung is drooling!" Haechan shouts.
"So is Taeyong!" Ten adds, laughing at his friend who is staring at his shirtless boyfriend with heart eyes.
Yuta looks over at his boyfriends, smiling, and blows kisses at them before focusing back on the game.
"I wanna mark him up so bad", Doyoung mumbles.
"Same."
Both of them get smacked by Jeno. "There is a child near us."
"Nina!" Doyoung calls over to the girl. "Did you hear what me and Taeyong just said?"
"No?" She answers in confusion.
"Okay, good!"
Ten laughs. "They definitely said something inappropriate."
"As if you wouldn't."

"Nina, come here!" Chenle calls.
"Come back later."
"I will." Nina gets up and joins her foster parents on the picnic blanket. She gets pulled down between them and then instantly gets sandwiched between the two. "Did you need something?"
"No, we just missed you." Nina keeps her eyes on the sky, feeling the happiness run through her and show on her face. Chenle and Jisung look past her to smile at each other. Chenle reaches up to ruffle her hair. "Are you having fun, lovely?"
"Mhm. Your friends are nice and the food is really good. I should tell Kun that."
"He'll appreciate it."
"So what did you talk to Ten about?" Jisung asks. "He didn't say anything weird, right?"
"Nope. He just asked my opinion on something and in the middle of it, he told Kun to shut up so Kun got up, flipped him off, and went to play basketball."
"Sounds like them. What did he want your opinion on?"
"He asked if it's better to try moving on or avoid your friend if you had a civil disagreement with them."
"Wait, who had a civil disagreement? I swear we're such nosy people."

Alyssa turns around to smile at Renjun. "Hi. Yeah, I had some ideas so I've been sketching since last night. I gotta go later though because I have evening classes."

"Their WHAT?" Alyssa shouts, startling Nina from where she's waiting in the next room.

Renjun walks into the room where Nina is. "You okay, babe?" The girl nods. Renjun brings her into a hug. "Don't worry, Alyssa is really nice. She's Haechans sister and she's hilarious. And also just like Haechan."

"Of course it's a good thing, I love Haechan."
"Good." Her attention shifts over the girl who doesn't look much younger than her. "Hi!"
"Hi", Nina says quietly.
"She'll warm up", Renjun tells Alyssa.
"I don't doubt it. Wanna see what I'm working on?" Nina nods and walks over to the desk where a sketchbook is opened up, displaying two designs. "You can flip through it."
"These are pretty", Nina compliments as she flips through the pages.
"Thank you."
Alyssa moves over to Renjun. "How's it going with the assistant search?"
"I don't know. I'm not trying that hard. It's weird."
"I get it. Having an assistant always seems so...I forget the word but I get it. You should still let someone help you."
"Um, hello?" A voice calls, confusing the three.
"Are you expecting someone?"
"Nope."
"In the room to the right!" Renjun shouts.
A girl around Alyssas age appears and blushes at the sight of the three. Her eyes constantly flit over to Alyssa, even as she walks up to Renjun. "Hi, I really love your brand and on your website, it says you're looking for an assistant."
"I didn't actually think about would see it", Renjun says quietly and then smiles. "I appreciate you coming in. I've never, like, interviewed someone before. I did list some qualifications for this job. I assume you saw that."
"Yes, I did."
"Good. We can just have a conversation. If I do end up hiring you, you should know that it's not just me here all the time. Like Alyssa here, sketches some designs."
"I help out as much as I can but college takes up a lot of time."
"I see." The girl smiles. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Alyssa."
Alyssa nods, enjoying the way her name came out of the girls mouth a little too much. She tries to pull her eyes away but it's so hard when this girl is fucking stunning with her straight jet black hair, long eyelashes, green hazel eyes, light pink blush, and pretty, pink, glossy lips.
"This is Nina. She's my close friends foster daughter."
"Oh I see. Nice to meet you, Nina."
"Nice to meet you too."

After Nina is all packed for her stay at Renjuns, Chenle and Jisung cuddle her on their bed, getting in as much affection as they can before they won't be able to for a night.
A little while later, a knock on the door breaks them out of their tranquility. "Bitches, open up!"
Jisung sighs, making Chenle giggle. He gets up and goes to open the door. "Hi."
"Hi", Renjun says, walking in right past him.
Jaemin giggles and wraps his arms around his best friend. He tilts Jisungs head down to kiss his forehead and then rubs their noses together until he feels Jisung relax.
"That was so cute", Nina comments.
Jaemin turns his attention to the teen and smiles. "Renjun, move, I wanna hug her."
"No."
"Ten seconds."
"Or?"
"Nina, would you like to stay at my apartment instead? I bake a lot."
Renjun gasps. "You did not."
Jaemin smiles. "I did. Let me hug her."
"I would do it", Jisung says.
"Come on, Jaemin isn't actually that scary, right?"
"Ask Jeno, he's the most afraid of him."
"I will, actually. Hold on."

Jaemin grins and pecks Renjuns cheek before happily pulling Nina into his arms.

"So how is it with Lele and Jisung?" Renjun asks.
"Good. I really like them. Lele likes to tease Jisung and it's really funny when he gets annoyed. He rolls his eyes a lot."
"That sounds like him."
"They're a very cute couple though. They say 'I love you' to each other at the most random times and it makes the other person blush. And every time they do that in front of me, they hug me and kiss my head."
"Oh, then...", Renjun pulls Nina into him and kisses the top of her hair. Jaemin moves closer and does the same thing, making Nina laugh.
"That's exactly what Lele and Jisung do. They hug me and take turns kissing my head. They're very warm. It's really comfy when we cuddle."
"Cuddling is so comfortable."
Nina nods in agreement. "It helps me sleep. And it just feels nice."
"Wait, you three cuddle when you sleep?"
"Yeah."
"That's so cute. Honestly, we already wanted to do that so now we definitely will."
"Ooh, yay."
"How are you so cute?"
"Oh." Nina flushes.
Renjun pulls her into another hug and kisses her forehead. "You're so precious. Now where do you wanna go?"
"I'll go anywhere. Oh, wait, can you show me where you get your clothes from? I love your outfits."

"What is it?" Is the first thing Jisung says.
"You're gonna scream."
"'Kay, hold on. Lele! Nina! Yuta is gonna tell me something important so I'll probably scream."
"Do I get to know too?" Chenle shouts.
Yuta shrugs. "Sure!" Jisung responds. He looks back at Yuta. "What is it?"
"I wanna propose to Doyo and Taeyong."
"WHAT?"
"What did I miss?" Chenle shouts.
"I wanna propose to Doie and Taeyong", Yuta says sheepishly.
The screams send a curious Nina into the room. She shyly waves at the screen and then looks at her foster parents in confusion.
"Is everything okay?"
"They're screaming because I wanna propose to my boyfriends."
"Aw", Nina coos. "I'm sure Taeyong and Doyoung will be really happy."
Yuta smiles. "Thank you." Then his smile falls. "It's annoying we can't all legally get married that's not gonna stop me. I'll call them my husbands, wear matching rings, and eat a tiered cake if I want to."
"That sounds fun."
"No getting married, you're too young."
"I know, I'm just saying."
"Good."
"Hey, wait, how do I make sure neither of them propose first? Knowing them, they'd even team up to propose to me and I love that and how much they love me but I wanna propose to them."
"You have to do it quickly", Chenle says. "Jisung was gonna do it himself if I took too long to propose."
"I mean, you could try to tell them you don't want them to propose to you", Nina suggests. "I'm not sure how but maybe you could mention how excited you are to do it when the time comes."
"Using their love to his advantage, you're a genius."

"Guys!" Jeno says. "Yuta is gonna propose."
"Wait, really?"
Jeno nods. "He told me to let him know if Doie makes any plans to propose."
"He told me the same thing about Taeyong right now."
"Those three are cute."
"They are."
"Lele and Jisung are already married, now Yuta is gonna propose, who do you think is next?"
Mark looks down at his lap.
I wouldn't mind if it's us
"Bubs, you okay?" Haechan asks.
"Yeah, I'm just thinking."
"Renjun and Winwin already had the marriage talk and they're not in a rush."
"Should we do that too?" Jeno asks and the turns bright red. "I mean, if you want to."
"That's fine", Jaemin says. "I'm pretty in love with you three and that's not changing anytime soon so I wouldn't mind..."
"Same", Mark admits. "I like the idea of us being married. God, this is so scary." He laughs.
"I like it too", Haechan says. "I love you three and I don't want anybody else. I don't want these feelings for anybody else."
Jeno nods in agreement. "Exactly. I'm never letting you three go."
"Kisses."
The four giggle as they peck each others lips and fall into a state of comfort from their reassuring conversation.
"Should we, like, discuss anything else while we're at it?"
"Like what?"
"Kids?" Jaemin suggests.
"Do you want kids, Princess?"
Jaemin smiles bashfully and turns red as he nods. "Yeah, I've always wanted kids. And now that Lele and Jisung are fostering Nina, it's making me think about it more. I know Nina is older and children aren't easy and some people regret having kids but I'd love it."
"I want kids too", Mark says.
"I wouldn't mind kids."
"What about you, Cookie?"
"I don't know", Haechan answers honestly. "I feel like I already know what having a kid is like from taking care of Alyssa and it took so much out of me. I stopped caring about school, not only because I couldn't handle it, but because I had to focus on Alyssa instead. I would be so tired from school and wanna lay down but I'd have to pick Alyssa up and then watch her, feed her, sometimes take her outside. By the time I was able to relax, I couldn't do homework. It took so much out of me. I did the best I could when I was in class but I didn't have the energy to try. And Alyssa was so difficult. She never listened to me, she was so goddamn annoying, and she was a brat. That's not even all of it."
"What the hell? And there's more?"
Haechan nods. "There's me just not wanting to deal with any of that again but I worry that I wouldn't be a good parent. I'd hate myself a thousand times more if I made my kid feel the way my mom made me feel. And I know it can happen by accident because my mom did it by accident. Ignoring what I'm telling her is on purpose but hurting me in the first place was an accident. I'd like to think I wouldn't do that but I can't guarantee I'll always be better."
Jeno, Jaemin, and Mark squish their boyfriend into a hug.
"There's no way you'd be anything like your mom. You know how it feels and you already do your best to make sure Alyssa doesn't feel that way either."
"What if it's not good enough?"
"What if I think I'm breaking the cycle but I can't? They don't deserve that. I know you wouldn't let me treat our child badly but I don't wanna turn into someone you and our child hate loving."
The three squish him even tighter and take turns giving him kisses.
"We can wait on it. But I think you'd be a way better parent than you think."
"Same."
"Same."
"I love you guys."
"I love you three too."
"I love you guys too"
