Brenda's POV
"How's everyone doing tonight?" Sam yelled into his microphone. The fans screamed. He cupped his ear and said,"I can't hear you!" Then held the microphone out to the crowd. They screamed again." There we go!"
"Sadly, this is the last concert of our tour," The fans boo'ed." Yeah, we feel the same way guys! But we're going to make this the best concert so far. First off, you get to meet our brothers, sisters, and parents tonight!" We introduced them as they walked onto the stage. Then the others came out on stage.
"And second, there is finally going to be, a Glee Club reunion!" Sam said happily. Our family went to their seats for now, and the lights on stage cut off as we got into our places.
"Before we start," Sam said, and there was one light pointing down on him," We're singing two songs that we've sung before, 'Don't Stop Believing' and 'Somebody To Love'. Finn and Rachel usually sing the lead, but for some unknown reason, they're making Brenda and I sing. At least, in 'Don't Stop Believing.'" He said." Okay, you can take the light off me now Rob." The light turned off. (Just imagine them doing the group dance. Same with Somebody To Love)
(Sam)
Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
(Brenda)
Just a city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
(Sam and Brenda)
A singer in a smokey room
The smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on
(Both with everyone else)
Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searchin' in the night
Streetlight, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the night
(Brenda)
Workin' hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anythin' to roll the dice
Just one more time
(Sam and Brenda)
Some will win, some will lose
Some are born to sing the blues
And now the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
(Both with everyone else)
Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searchin' in the night
Streetlight, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the night
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight, people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight, people
Don't stop!
The fans were cheering as we all grinned and got in position for the next, and last, song.
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord!
Somebody, somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
I work hard every day of my life
I work till I ache my bones
At the end I take home my hard earned pay all on my own -
I get down on my knees
And I start to pray
Till the tears run down from my eyes
Lord - somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me - somebody to love?
(He works hard)
Everyday - I try and I try and I try -
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I'm goin' crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
Got no common sense
I got nobody left to believe
Yeah - yeah yeah yeah
Oh Lord
Somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Got no feel, I got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat
I'm ok, I'm alright
Ain't gonna face no defeat
I just gotta get out of this prison cell
Someday I'm gonna be free, Lord!
Find me somebody to love
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
"Oh my god, that was seriously awesome. I miss doing this with all of you guys." Sam said into his microphone. Everyone agreed.
"Good lord, how are you not sweating like crazy right now?" Finn asked, wiping the sweat off his face.
"Well, for one, we do this almost every single night dude, two, I have to do some more serious dance routines than that on stage, and three, I think you've gained a couple pounds since high school." Sam said cheekily. All of the fans found our conversation interesting, so we just kept at it until we had to sing more. Sam and I sang a few songs, we even convinced Stacy, Stevie, Sam, and Chord to sing a song together, and I convinced both of my brothers to sing with me. At the end, Sam and I were the only ones on the stage, the others either on the side of the stage watching, or in the audience.
"Okay guys, this is the last song that we're doing, well, I'm doing it. Brenda and I played rock, paper, scissors back stage and I won, so." The fans either screamed or laughed. Blaine came and sat on the piano, Finn played the drumbs, and Chord played the guitar. Puck brought out two stools, and put them side by side. Sam and I sat on them and I said into my microphone,
"I have no clue what he is about to do."
"I'm about to sing." He said."This isn't exactly a new song, but it hasn't been recorded or sung for anyone before, so I hope y'all like it. Especially you, Brenda. This is for you Darlin'."
I can't win, I can't reign
I will never win this game
Without you, without you
I am lost, I am vain,
I will never be the same
Without you, without you
I won't run, I won't fly
I will never make it by
Without you, without you
I can't rest, I can't fight
All I need is you and I,
Without you, without you
Oh oh oh!
You! You! You!
Without...
You! You! You!
Without...you
Can't erase, so I'll take blame
But I can't accept that we're estranged
Without you, without you
I can't quit now, this can't be right
I can't take one more sleepless night
Without you, without you
I won't soar, I won't climb
If you're not here, I'm paralyzed
Without you, without you
I can't look, I'm so blind
I lost my heart, I lost my mind
Without you, without you
Oh oh oh!
You! You! You!
Without...
You! You! You!
Without...you
I am lost, I am vain,
I will never be the same
Without you, without you
Without...you
By the end of it, he was standing in front of me, singing directly to me, holding my hand in his. He smiled at me when it was over, and I leaped at him, and he almost didn't catch me, and almost dropped the microphone. I wasn't kissing him, yet, I was just hugging him tightly. I leaned back and kissed him quickly on the lips, then hugged him again before letting go.
"I loved it, Sammy, and I love you too!" After talking to the fans for a few minutes, we got off stage. Everyone was backstage in our huge dressing room, waiting on us. We got a bunch of hugs, then Finn asked,
"So, what's next for you two? For all of us?" Sam looked down at me and smiled, then said,
"Well, I don't know about you guys, but this was the best year of my life. All I know is that there is a bigger, better road ahead of us."
That was the last chapter! I hope you guys liked it! Book six will be up soon, possibly today, or sometime next week.
