On a bright and sunny day, Mew and her friends are traveling down the road to their next part of their Journey. Suddenly, dark clouds begin to travel across the sky where they're at, and a drop of rain hits Pikachu on his head.
Pikachu looks up, "Pika?" (What's that?)
"Eevee..." (Uh oh.) Eevee says, looking up.
Soon, Mew and the others notice the rain as well
"A storm?" Mew says, confused.
Soon, the rain comes down harder and the group begins to run away to find shelter.
"Let's get out of this!"
"Where can we go?! We're in the middle of nowhere!" Misty says.
The group looks ahead to notice a white building with a red roof.
"What's that?" Brock wonders.
"I don't like the looks of it," misty says.
"I don't think we have much of a choice," Mew says.
The group agrees to the idea and hurry toward the building. They barge through the doors and run inside. Pikachu and Eevee shake the water off their body.
"Is everyone okay?" Mew asks.
"Tomo okay," Tomo answers.
Mew looks around and calls out, "Hello? Sorry for barging in!"
"Is anybody here?" Misty adds.
The group looks around to see a theater close by and walk over for a look.
"It looks like some kind of theater," Brock says.
"Yeah," Misty says.
"Hey, since nobody's around, we might as well stay here until the rain stops," Mew says.
Everyone nods their heads in reply.
Suddenly Pikachu notices something, "Pikachu!" (Look you guys!)
The group turn their heads to see another Pikachu and another Eevee.
"Where'd that other Pikachu and Eevee come from?" Mew says, confused.
The two Pikachu and Eevee copy everything Mew's Pikachu and Eevee do.
"How cute!" Misty says, and walks over to them.
Misty goes over and picks up the other Eevee and Pikachu.
"Hi there!" Misty says.
Misty's happiness soon changes to surprise and shock to see that Pikachu's face is different from Mew's.
Misty panics and drops the Pikachu to the floor, "What is this?! What's wrong with it?!"
"What's wrong Misty?" Mew asks.
"That Pikachu doesn't look right!" Misty answers.
The others look to see what Misty is talking about.
"Could be a new type of Pikachu," Brock wonders.
"Never heard of a Pikachu with that kind of face," Mew says.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Someone asks.
The group turns their heads and becomes shocked to see a trainer that looks exactly like Mew
"Hey, Mew, that girl's dressed just like you!" Misty says, surprised.
Mew steps forward and asks, "Who are you?"
"Tell me who you are," The mysterious person says.
"I'm Mew from Pallet Town!" Mew says.
"Duplica," The person says in Mew's voice.
Then walks over and reveals her true voice, "From The House of Imite."
"Imite? Like, imitate? Is that why you look just like me?" Mew asks, confused
"That's right," Duplica says.
"At least we know that this is a girl," Misty says.
"But she may be a little young for me," Brock says.
Misty bluntly says, "You're sad."
Then she walks to the Pikachu with a strange face, "Aw. It still hasn't gotten over that old habit."
The Pikachu then glows and transforms into a pink blob, much to everyone's surprise.
"It's a Ditto," Mew says, surprised.
Misty turns to the Eevee she is holding, "So then, this Eevee is really..."
The Eevee then transforms into a blue blob that is similar to the pink one.
"And that's a Shiny Ditto," Brock says, surprised.
Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says, "Ditto, the Transform Pokemon. A Normal Type. It is able to rearrange the cells of its body and assume any form. Its only attack is Transform."
Misty then pets the two Dittos as she laughs and says, "Squishy."
"And Ditto can make itself look just like anything!" Mew says.
Brock places his hand under his chin, "Yeah, but It's face stayed the same. When it transforms, shouldn't it be able to change completely?"
"Yeah, it still can't change its face," Duplica says.
"Sound kind of odd, but Ditto is a unique Pokemon. It's one of the only few that can only transform like this," Mew says.
"A transforming Pokemon. It's only attack is to copy other Pokemon. That's all it does," Brock says.
"Isn't that enough?" Misty asks.
"It is. Ditto may not be able to learn other attacks, but Transformation is a powerful asset for Ditto. Depending on the Pokemon Ditto can change into, it can also use the attack from the Pokemon it copied from," Mew says.
"You knew a lot, huh?" Duplica asks, impressed.
"Well, Professor Oak read to me about Ditto, they're very rare and unique too, including a shiny one. Of course, it also helps if the trainer can also know the attacks the Pokemon uses," Mew says.
"It can imitate attacks?" Misty asks.
"They do more than just look like a Pokemon," Mew says.
"That's right," Duplica says, happily.
Sometime later, Duplica brings Mew and the others to her costume room and she has a lot of them.
"Wow! What are all these clothes for?" Misty says, amazed.
Duplica runs to the racks and comes back on the other side to be dressed as Nurse Joy,
"Don't worry, I'll take good care of it," Duplica says, imitating Nurse Joy.
Then Duplica runs into the rack again and is now Officer Jenny.
Duplica says, "My name is Jenny, you're under arrest for Pokemon poaching."
The Pokemon and Tomo clap and cheer for Duplica's talent.
"Great imitation!" Misty happily says.
"Very good, but she doesn't capture the more adult charm of the real Joy and Jenny," Brock says.
Misty looks at Brock embarrassingly and sweat drops.
"With all these costumes, I can imitate just about anybody. Watch!" Duplica says.
Then runs to the rack again, and comes out dressed as Misty. She winks and laughs.
"She's me!" Misty says, surprised.
"You're amazing. Duplica," Mew says.
"Thanks," Duplica says.
"So Duplica, have you used Ditto in battle before?" Mew asks.
"I do sometimes," Duplica says.
"I'll bet you know any Pokemon's potential attacks. You could order Ditto to use the strongest attacks possible according to the Pokemon form it takes," Mew says.
"That's right! I guess that means Duplica must know every attack and every Pokemon there is," Misty says.
Then Brock says, "You must have studied a lot, Duplica, to be able to battle in any situation like that."
"Oh, stop it, guys! You're making me blush," Duplica says.
"It looks like you got another rival, Mew. Duplica would make a great Pokemon master," Misty says.
"No way!" Duplica denies.
"Huh?" Misty says, confused.
Then Duplica says, "I just want to become the greatest Ditto master."
"A Ditto master?" Everyone says, confused.
"You got it! And I wanna be a big star!" Duplica says.
"You see, I started this Imite House because I like to imitate Pokemon. This place is so flat and boring, but people pass by here all the time. I thought maybe when they stop here for a rest, I could entertain them," Duplica says.
Mew suspects, "I guess it didn't come easy when they see Ditto couldn't do his transformation perfectly."
"Yes. When people watch Ditto, they don't want to see an imperfect transformation. This little one is trying its hardest to master Transform perfectly, but its face still stays the same," Duplica says.
The Pink Ditto looks depressed.
"I guess being a Ditto trainer's tough," Mew replies.
The Blue Ditto comes to its friend and tries to comfort it.
"That's sweet," Misty says.
"Is this Ditto one of your Pokemon?" Brock asks.
"No. This Ditto is wild and it comes here once in a while. It's actually been trying to help my Ditto perfect transformation, but it's hard work," Duplica says.
Suddenly, the lights go off and the spotlight pan around the curtains. Everyone becomes shocked to see Team Rocket is on the stage.
"That was a touching story," Meowth says.
"What? Who are you?" Duplica asks.

Mew and her friends look at Team Rocket looking dumbfounded.
"Okay, show's over. Time to go back home," Mew says.
"Quiet, young twerp. You'll be happy to know we're not interested in your Pikachu today," Jessie says.
"We're here for..." James says.
"The Ditto!" Meowth says, leaping out and taking Ditto.
James throws his Pokeball, "Time for action, Weezing!"
Wheezing comes out of its Pokeball and performs smokescreen. The group coughs as the smokescreen covers them. When the smoke disappears, they see Team Rocket is gone along with Duplica's ditto.
"Oh no! My Ditto is gone!" Duplica says, upset.
Mew grits her teeth, "Team Rocket, what are they up to this time.
Elsewhere, Team Rocket has hidden in their hideout, easily identified with their Meowth hot air balloon, as Jessie and James chuckle in triumph.
"Cute little Ditto, our little Ditto. Why didn't we think of this before? Now, we're unstoppable!" Jessie says.
"Right! Now we can take our names off the loser list and put them in the winning column!" James says with pride.
"And the boss will make me top cat again," Meowth says.
Jessie leans to Ditto, "Alright, little Ditto. We have a little favor to ask you."
Jessie then shows Ditto a book and opens it to a certain page.
Then Jessie points her finger to a picture of a Dratini, "Transform into this. Won't you please? Please? Pretty please?"
"Become Dratini, the Pokemon we've never been able to capture. It would make a handsome gift for the boss," James adds.
However, Jessie says, "What's the hurry? Since Ditto is ours for the moment, let's have some fun before we hand it over to the boss."
"Some fun?" James says, confused.
Then Jessie then shows a picture of someone, "Ditto, what would the person in this picture look like if he were an adult? Transform and show me."
Ditto is rather confused by it.
Curious, James asks, "Who's picture is that? Let me see!"
"No way! This is personal, James! Stop it!" Jessie denies, feeling embarrassed.
"Let's see," Meowth says looking at the picture.
Then sees it, "Ha! It's a little boy!"
"Jessie has a boyfriend?" James says, surprised.
"He was my first true love," Jessie says, still blushing.
"First love?" James says, confused.
"Show me," Jessie replies with glee.
Ditto nods its head and transforms into the photo, but they soon see the problem in their plan. Jessie looks surprised while James and Meowth laugh.
"Your first love sure has an interesting face!" James says.
"Especially if you're interested in Ditto!" Meowth says.
Then Jessie beats James and Meowth.
Angry, Jessie glares at Ditto, "That wasn't funny! Is that your idea of a transformation?!"
Then Ditto licks Jessie's face, making James and Meowth laugh more. Then Jessie makes them harder.
"Now, do as I say!" Jessie angrily says.
Then points to the picture of the Dratini, "Transform into this!"
Ditto then transforms into a book, causing them to fall over in disbelief.
"I'm beginning to see a flaw in this plan," James says.
That makes Jessie furious at Ditto, "How dare you insult us like this! I'm warning you! You better transform perfectly this time or I'll transform you into jelly!"
Ditto begins to shutter in fear.
Meanwhile at the House of Imite, Mew and the others have sent some of their Pokemon to find Ditto, while they cheer Duplica up.
"Don't worry, Duplica. Cheer up. We'll all help you find Ditto," Misty says.
"We've already sent Pidgeotto, Wingull, and Zubat out on surveillance," Brock says.
"There you go! See?" Misty happily says.
Duplica sadly nods her head and says, "Thanks, you guys."
The Shiny Ditto is still looking sad and worried for the other Ditto.
Mew pets it on the head, "Don't worry, we'll find your friend and make sure Ditto is safe."
"Ditto," (Thank you.) Shiny Ditto replies.
Duplica smiles and says, "That's sweet. I think this Ditto likes you."
Soon, Pidgotto, Ditto, and Wingull fly in through the window.
Mew walks over, "Hey guys, did you find anything?
"Pidgo Pdigo," (We found where Ditto is!)
"Wingull Wingull," (And they're not that far either.) Wingull replies.
Mew turns to the others, "They found where Ditto is."
"Let's go save Ditto!" Misty says.
Everyone agrees
But Duplica says, "Wait! I think I have an idea!"
The group becomes confused by it and sees the smile on her face, meaning she has an idea.
Ben: If it has to deal with your wardrobe and your talent as a master of disguise, let's hear it.
Meanwhile, back at Team Rocket's hideout, Team Rocket is trying to get Ditto to transform. This time, Ditto transforms into a Meowth, but the face is still Ditto.
"What's wrong with you? Why can't you get it right?!" Jessie demands.
Meowth says, annoyed, "I don't have a goofy face like that!"
"Get it right this time, Ditto, or you'll regret it!" James says, frustrated.
"That's right!" Meowth says, and unsheathes his claws.
Ditto panics and reshapes its face into Meowth's face, perfectly. Team Rocket are very pleased.
"Success!" James cheers.
"You really can do it if you try. Great job, Ditto," Jessie says.
Meowth then asks, "Now, how about a Dratini?"
"Sorry, Meowth!" Someone says.
Team Rocket becomes surprised and turns their heads around.
Jessie shouts, "Hey!"
Soon, multiple spotlights shine around Mew, her friends, and Duplica as they are dressed like Team Rocket. Even Tomo is part of the act.
Mew:
Prepare for trouble!
Brock
And make it double double!
Jessie and James are not pleased at all.
James angrily says, "Quit imitating us!"
Misty:

Jessie grits her teeth in anger and says, "This is insulting!"
Mew:
To defend the beauty of truth and love.
Misty

As Team Rocket feels embarrassed, Mewand the others are talking about doing the motto.
"That was great to do the whole thing!" Misty says.
Then Mew says, "Now I know why they like saying all that dumb stuff so much, it's fun!"
"Hey, I know! Maybe we should all become actors!" Duplica says.
Soon, the group begin laughing. However, Team Rocket is unable to stand the embarrassment anymore.
Jessie says with rage, "Team Rocket is not something to be made fun of, but if you're going to imitate us, at least do it right!"
"To UNITE all people within our nation, not ignite!" James adds.
"We'll be taking Ditto back now!" Duplica says.
"Let Ditto go!" Tomo adds.
However, Meowth says, "No way!"
And another Meowth says, "No way!"
Jessie and James chuckle as the gang are confused.
"Hey, I can't tell which one is which!" Brock says.
"But I thought Ditto couldn't imitate faces," Mew says.
"That's true, but Ditto was finally perfected under the expert care and training of Team Rocket," Jessie says.
Then Jessie and James laugh in triumph.
Suddenly, Duplica happily says, "Oh, thank you!"
Team Rocket stops laughing to see Duplica looking at them with gratitude.
Duplica happily says, "I've tried everything I could think of to get Ditto to imitate faces."
Then begins to shed tears, "Now Ditto can finally become the kind of Pokemon I always knew it could be."
"Duplica," Mew replies.
Misty happily says, "That's beautiful."
"Yeah," Brock says.
Jessie begins to shed tears, "That's so beautiful, I can't stand it."
"Neither can I," James adds, shedding tears.
Then Mew has an idea, "Hey, you guys! Why don't we solve this without a big battle?"
"Alright. We'll do it your way this time," Jessie says.
"We'll just give you Ditto," James adds.
Team Rocket then hands 'Ditto' over to Team Rocket as they get into the Balloon with 'Meowth.
Suddenly, 'Ditto' panics, "Hey! What are you doing?"
"We'll be on our way now!" Jessie says.
The hideout falls apart and Team Rocket begins to take flight on the balloon. Team Rocket soon waves goodbye.
Jessie says, "Goodbye, everyone!"
"Good luck with Ditto!" James adds.
"Hold it right there!" Duplica says, running over and prepares to throw 'Ditto' at them.
"Hey, Duplica! What are you doing?!" Misty asks, shocked.
"This isn't Ditto!" Duplica angrily says.
Suddenly, 'Ditto' panics, "Hey! Let me go, will ya?!"
Mew quickly says, "She's right. That's Meowth!"
Then Duplica throws the 'Ditto' that is actually Meowth at them. Meowth is able to grab the balloon.
"Impossible! How could you tell?!" Jessie says, dismay.
"It was a perfect transformation!" James says, stunned.
The real Ditto then bites Jessie causing her to let go. Then Ditto jumps off the balloon and dives into Duplica's arms.
"I wouldn't be much of a trainer if I couldn't see through that transformation. Right, Ditto!" Duplica happily says.
Still on the balloon, Meowth shouts, "Dimwits! How'd you manage to mess this one up?!"
"You are in no position to complain!" James angrily says.
"It's time for plan B!" Jessie says and presses a button.
The hatch of the basket pens to reveal a cannon that is poking at the shocked trainers below.
" Stop! You can't do this!" Mew shouts.
"Quiet! All of you!" Jessie shouts in rage.
Then says with a grin, "We're going to win after all!"
"Ditto! Transform, now!" Duplica says.
Ditto leaps off of Duplica's arm and turns into a cannon.
"That's great! I didn't know Ditto could transform into things like that!" Mew says, surprised.
That gives Mew an idea, "Pikachu, Eevee, go in the cannon."
Pikachu and Eevee rush to the cannon. The Shiny Ditto changes into Pikachu and rushes in the cannon too.
Mew calls out, "Pikachu Eevee, Ditto, aim!"
"Ditto, fire!" Duplica says.
Ditto then fires Pikachu, Eevee, and Shiny Ditto into the air and right at Team Rocket.
"Fire!" Jessie shouts and presses the cannon to fire a net at Pikachu.
When the net is close, Mew shouts, "Now!"
Pikachu, Eevee, and Shiny Ditto as Pikachu then use their Thunder Attacks at the net and throughout the balloon and cause Team Rocket to get electrocuted. Meowth ends up clinging his claws into the balloon tighter until it pops and sends then blasting off again.
"Jessie, we lose everything!" James screams.
"Even our hot air!" Jessie panics.
Team Rocket then screams, "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
Mew catches Pikachu, Eevee, and Shiny Ditto as Ditto changes back to normal and jumps into Duplica's arms.
"That was great! You've learned how to completely transform! Ditto, would you please transform into a Pikachu?" Duplica says.
Ditto then transforms into Pikachu and it's a perfect copy.
"That's amazing! Ditto transforms perfectly!" Misty says.
Mew giggles and says, "I can hardly believe it! Team Rocket was actually good for something."
"Yeah, and the way Ditto transforms into objects is great!" Brock says.
"You're just as real as the real thing!" Misty says.
"Hey, Ditto. Great job," Mew says.
Mew then picks up her Pikachu while Duplica picks up the other Pikachu that changes into Ditto in her arms.
Later Duplica fixes up her House of Imite and finishes it, "There! The Imite House is reopened!"
"Congratulations!" Mew says.
"You did it, Duplica!" Misty says.
"Thanks," Duplica says.
The Shiny Ditto then comes up to Mew and snuggles her leg.
Duplica turns to Mew, "Mew, I think Ditto wants to come with you."
"It does?" Mew asks, surprised
Then turns to Shiny Ditto, "You do?"
The Shiny Ditto nods its head.
Mew smiles, "Well then I'll be happy to have you aboard."
Mew then taps a Pokeball to Ditto and it goes inside, and the capture is instant.
Mew says to Ditto, "Welcome to the group."
The Pokeball shakes like it's nodding its head.
Soon, Mew and the others say goodbye to Duplica and Ditto..
"Bye Duplica! Bye Ditto!" Mew says.
"Goodbye, thank you for everything," Duplica says.
"Goodbye, and take care of yourself, Ditto Master," Mew replies.
Mew and her friends leave the Ditto Mansion and continue on the next part of their journey. They're able to help Duplica and her Ditto, and they gain a new Ditto friend to the team.
Elsewhere, Team Rocket's balloon has crashed in the woods and Jessie and James are doing something to Meowth.
Meowth panics, "Hey! What are you doing?"
"Meowth, hold still!" Jessie angrily says.
Meowth screams, "Stop it! Let me go! Cut it out, will ya?!"
Turns out, Jessie and James are trying to dress him like a Dratini.
Meowth panics, "Ow! Quit it!"
"Will you stop it, Meowth?!" James angrily says.
Jessie says, "The only way we can get out of this mess is to dress you up like a Dratini and present you to the boss!"
"Pea brains! This won't work!" Meowth angrily says.
And shows off his claws, "Take that! And that!" as he scratches James and Jessie's faces.
Jessie and James are so mad that they attack Meowth.
Jessie shouts, "How dare you touch my face!"
"For that, we'll turn you into a Grimer!" James adds.
The three Team Rocket members continue to fight and attack each other.
