Jake listened to Fawn tell him what happened again, retracing his steps as to the first time he went against Quaritch and the last time. "Ay'u, where did you say she was going?" He asked after Fawn finished.
Ay'u grabbed some paint fron their ceremonial face markings, dipping his fingers in the liquid he began to draw on the floor for everyone to see. "There is this place we go to, well our parents forced us to go to.. it's a.." he tapped his head to try and remember the name. "It's a burial site, except it's on fire." Fawn said as he chimed in.
"Yes. It's one of our most deadliest places here, the fire spreads out over a hundred and hundreds of miles. Everywhere you look there is animals who withstand the fire, there are creatures who can be in the heat, some are constantly on fire, we grew accustomed to it because our dad would punish us. Mostly (Y/N), but only certain people can get through there." Ay'u explained. "When we were growing up, we were there almost every day so we made a makeshift path for us to not burn our feet. Only Fawn, (Y/N) and I know how to navigate it." Ay'u said as he finished.
Jake nodded, his arms crossed as he looked down at the image Ay'u drew of the outline. "What is this? Right here?" He said, pointing to a small circle that was drawn. "It's a cave site underground, it travels from there to right.. here." He drew another section, moving over to where the entrance of the village was at. "If she is smart and doing what I think she is, she is going to draw them closer to the massacre matrix, the fire area, and walk across it. If the bad people who took her don't pay attention, they'll burn their feet and even catch themselves on fire."
Ay'u weighed his options before he drew another few circles. "Here is the issue though. Yes, this is a cave site but it's in between two geysers and you have to time the entrance correctly. One wrong step, timing off, you'll get blasted by the steam."
Fawn cut him off, "Say it works, say she manages to escape and head to the cave. That's about a minute walk, the things they were holding shot at some animals in less than a second." Jake agreed. "Guns are a deadly weapon, is there another route." He asked.
Ay'u and Fawn both shared a look before nodding. "If she does this, she's practically killing herself and them for you. I'd mate her if she survived." Jake blushed. "Theres a dragon that lives there, no one bonds with him and no one dares sees him. We offer him food, we take care of him, he respects us and we respect him. (Y/N) would sing to him every night. He lives at the top of the volcano. He's the deadliest dragon, but also a protector." Ay'u said.
"His name is Kamish. A giant red dragon that is nicknamed 'Fury'. If she brings them near him, he'll immediately kill them without a second thought. That's if he notices her in time, he'll let her get out the way and then do what he does." Ay'u drew another area where Kamish resided.
"How do we know (Y/N) will do any of this?" Jake asked, already feeling nervous for the girl he grew to care too much for. "We all had an escape plan at one point, we got tired of out father constantly trying to teach us a lesson. So one day we broke off and risked our lives trying to find escapes. I found the cave, Ay'u made the path and (Y/N) found the dragon." Fawn said before he pointed at Jake.
"You went against the sky people before, can't you do what you did last time?" Jake shook his head. "That was Eywas' help in the rainforest, she doesn't take sides. I could, however, recommend what to do. You guys are good in the air, far better than them. You said they were hunting you on ground, with machines that shot long spears, right?" Fawn nodded, dipping his fingers in the paint as well to try and get an accurate look at what they looked like.
"It looks like a giant bow and arrow. On the ends of it was lit on fire, they knew how to strike down Vhagar." Fawn tried his hardest to think of anything else that could help. "It wasn't immune to fire. Yes! Vhagar burned part of the machine, that could be used?"
Jake nodded once more, he was too busy getting caught up in his own thoughts that he didn't realize he was missing three people.

(Y/N) was finally allowed to have her cuffs off, hands swaying at the side as she walked to the destination. "What is your name?" She was taunting the Avatars, she found it funny, exciting even, but she was masking her being scared. A gun had been placed at the back of her head ever since the cuffs got taken off, one wrong step had her head getting hit with the barrel.
Death never scared her, no, it was dying by anothers persons hand that terrified her beyond words. "Keep walking." One of the females said, nudging her with her hand. She stumbled forward a bit, tail thrashing behind her in annoyance. If she got out of this alive, she would personally kill that one slowly.
The heat from where she wanted to go was coming closer, she could hear the others behind her start to inhale sharper to get a good breath of air. As the eclipse was about to happen, her ears twitched back when she heard rustling, side eyeing the trees when she noticed a pair of eyes occasionally trying to get her attention.
'Fuck' she mumbled to herself when she saw another set of two. Stopping suddenly and turning, she stared Quaritch down with a grin. "I need to take a break." He gave her a look not buying her request, but, once again, her eyes freaked him out. Nodding his head off into the distance, she moved over a bit of a distance away, one of his men watching her through the scope of his gun.
Her hand was by her side, moving her finger in a no 'stay put', she looked back once before pretending to drop down to hide from the scope. "What the fuck are you three doing here?!" She mouthed, staring at Lo'ak, Tuk and Kiri. "We came for you!" Tuk mouthed with a grin, unaware of the threat behind her just a few feet away.
(Y/N) panicked as she stared at the youngest, her eyes moving to Lo'ak and Kiri before she looked back up to where one of the men were coming. "Stay put."
She shot back up with an annoyed sigh, tail swishing behind her as she brushed past the man. "Privacy, will ya?" She said, only to get pulled back harshly from her queue. "Listen, bitch. Keep fucking with us and I'll put a bullet between your eyes right now." (Y/N) rolled her eyes before slapping the others hand away, "Stop touching me, perv."

They walked for another hour, her eyes constantly looking to her right through the corner of eye, only slightly seeing the three trail behind them. "Are we close." Lyle said, moving in front of the girl. He was sweating profoundly, they all were, but she had only a few damped spots because she was tired from walking.
She nodded, brushing back some large leaves to reveal what seemed to be a completely different scenery.
In the center was a giant geyser, probably the biggest they ever seen. Behind them was a volcano, spewing over the sides was lava that was colored blue and red with a loud roar coming from the inside. "Here we are."
She took a deep breath, eyes dropping to find the path before she started walking, getting yanked back once again. "Wait." This time it was Quaritch, his eyes were wide as they looked to what they could see. "You are telling me.. Jake Sully is here." He was in disbelief, no way someone could survive out here.
"Yes, just at the volcanoes. There is a home that is good." She tried her hardest to make sure the other fell for her lie.
"Boss." Lyle said from behind them, a chuckle leaving his lips. "We have company."
Tuk let out a loud scream, causing (Y/N) to snap her head behind her. "No!"
Quaritch gripped at her queue, "You thought you could hide your friends from us and we wouldn't find them?" He was pissed, not in the mood to have walked so far.
"You are going to realize just how bad of a decision that is." Quaritch said, his mouth to her ear. She hissed, eyes staring him down. "Get your hands off of me before I kill you."
Quaritch pushed the girl over to her knees, right next to the others before he look at all four of them. "We got a whole family now! Tell me, Lo'ak how does it feel that you are about to witness another death." Lo'ak was trying his hardest to be brave, but it was difficult.
"I'm sorry, I don't think I could hear you. Did you say 'horrible?'" Quaritch was taunting the boy and (Y/N) was annoyed, placing a hand on the ground to just calm down, she felt a rumble.
Eywa really was looking out for her children right now.
A loud screech was heard, probably louder than any dragons they had. All the men snapped their heads, trying their best to see what the noise was. Just as one man turned, its' body was trapped by a tree with a head on their torso, another screech was heard as the body of the animal came flying towards them.
Its' massive size had crushed the Avatar right away, biting down on his neck before he vanished behind trees as the guns started firing. "Go, go, go-!" (Y/N) said to the three, crawling away as the men were distracted.
"What is that?" Lo'ak said as the four of them took off towards the massacred matrix field. "A slinger, it will kill us if it spots us."
Lo'ak pressed his neck piece, not bothering to call Jake by his code name. "Dad—something is attacking them, I don't know what is happening. We are.. near a fire place. We have to go." (Y/N) ran behind the three to take any bullets that might come for them. "Follow the path, look down and follow it!"
AN: I have had the biggest writers block ever. this chapter is actually trash and i hate it,, but i wanted to add yet another filler. 🙂
