(Back in the throne room, Chief Mammatus and the Keepers surround the remaining members of the Team.)
Mammatus: Lock them up. All but one. The Gift...
Keeper: Which one? (He pokes his weapon at Kai before Jay steps in.)
Jay: Guys, is all this really necessary? All the pushing and the poking and the zapping.
Kai: (Whispers.) Uh, Jay, what are you doing?!
Jay: I'm just saying. Why don't we start over? (Stands before the Chief.) Ahem. My name's Jay, nice to meet you. (The rest of the Team watches this.)
Mammatus: This one. (The Keepers take Jay before someone yells.)
Styx: (Appears on Jay's shoulder.) Hey, hey, hey, the dude just wanted to be your friend. If you're taking him, then you're taking me. (Gets ready to use his Form before Chief Mammatus holds him in his hand.)
Mammatus: You are like a snake, but you speak?
Styx: Uh, yeah, I'm Serpentine. Duh, now let go, personal boundaries aren't a thing here or something?! (Nya tries to grab Styx but is stopped by some Keepers.)
Mammatus: Take the small one too. He's another of her kind.
Nya: (She watches the Keepers take away Jay and Styx.) Wait, where are you taking them?
Kai: Hey! (The Keepers poke him.)
Cole: Back off!
Nya: Jay!
Cole: Styx!
(The last four Ninja are taken to a cell as another Keeper electrocutes Kai.)
Kai: Careful with that thing!
(The Keepers lock the Ninja up as the doors close leaving them caged.)
Kai: (Banging on the door.) You're making a big mistake!
Cole: Let us out of here! (He activates his lava arm, and they attempt to lift the door, but a Keeper electrocutes them.) Remind me not to try that again.
Misako: (She walks up to the Ninja with Wu.) Nya? Kai?
Nya: Misako!
Misako: Are you all okay?
Nya: Yeah, we're okay.
Cole: How about you guys?
Wu: Yes, we're fine.
Misako: They've treated us pretty well, all in all.
Cole: Really?
Kai: They didn't seem that hospitable to me. (He rubs his arm.)
Clutch: (Sitting on one of the explorers as the other fans him.) I've been in quicksand that was more comfortable.
Kai: (To Cole.) What is this?
Cole: (Facepalms.) Don't ask me.
Clutch: Dwayne! How's that tunnel coming along?
Dwayne: (He looks at his dirt-covered hands.) My hands hurt...
Nya: Why are they doing this? What do they want?
Misako: It has something to do with some artifact they seem to be protecting. I believe they think we were trying to steal it.
Cole: (Sighs and looks at Clutch.) Were you trying to steal it?
Clutch: How dare you! I'm an archeologist, not a thief. (Nya and Cole look at him skeptically.) I study, and I, uh, bring back. To my place. To study some more.
Kai: Yeah...that sounds like stealing to me.
Nya: You said the definition of stealing, right there.
Cole: Zane, could you give us a dictionary definition?
Zane: Stealing: The action or offence of taking another person's property without permission or legal right and without intending to return it-
Clutch: It's not stealing! (The Ninja look at him with the "We're not buying that" face.)
Misako: Where are Lloyd and Crystal? And Styx and Jay for that matter?
Kai: Lloyd and Crystal managed to get away, they went a different path and we got cut off. They're still out there somewhere. As for Jay and Styx, the islanders took them somewhere else.
Wu: What for?
Nya: We don't know. But I have a terrible feeling something bad is gonna happen to them.
Zane: They referred to Jay as a 'gift.' And Styx as 'another of her kind.' I am unsure why. And who was the 'her' they were referring to.
Misako: From my observation, the islanders aren't actually hostile, just protective. I don't believe they want to hurt us.
Kai: Hopefully we won't be here long enough to find out. If I know Lloyd and Crystal, right about now, they're finding a way to rescue us.
(In the cave, Lloyd puts on camouflage on his face, as Crystal looks at this and does the same.)
Twitchy Tim: What's that for?
Lloyd: Camouflage.
Crystal: Since are gi's blend in with the environment, will have to do the same for our faces.
Lloyd: (Looks at Crystal's gi colour.) Uh, you may want to make sure your powers still work out there.
Crystal: (Jokingly.) So funny I forgot to laugh. (She lights chuckles as Lloyd does the same.)
Twitchy Tim: (Understanding.) Wait, you're going out there? (He holds Lloyd's shoulder.) Are you both nuts?!
Lloyd: We don't have a choice, Twitchy. Our friends need us.
Crystal: (Looks at Twitchy.) But we could use all the help we can get. (She gets up with Lloyd.)
Twitchy Tim: Oh forget it! Wanna know how I survived on this island for so long? (The two look back.) By not taking chances!
Lloyd: Twitchy, I know you're scared. But if we went together, we could rescue the others, find my mom, and get off this island!
Crystal: (She walks up to Twitchy.) And all we have to do is just sneak into their village, find our friends' cell, break our friends out and-
Lloyd: (Twitchy starts to fritz again and he runs up to them.) Twitchy, are you okay?
Twitchy Tim: What's all that for? Camouflage?
Lloyd: Oh, great.
Twitchy Tim: (Runs up shaking Crystal.) You're going out there? Are you nuts?
Lloyd: Twitchy! I get it. You're been knocked down, a lot.
Crystal: (She puts her hand on Twitchy's shoulder.) But after all that you still got up, 12 times. After all that, it doesn't mean you have to stay down on the 13th.
Lloyd: You're stronger than that. (He exits the cave, leaving Twitchy Tim and Crystal behind.)
Crystal: And even if you don't believe it in yourself, know that there are others who believe it in you. And that includes me. (She runs off to Lloyd as Twitchy looks into the fire contemplating.)
(Back at the camp, in a room, Jay paces with Styx on his shoulder.)
Jay: Okay, this is bad, this really bad! This is bad on so many levels!
Styx: I know! So quit saying it, I'm trying to think!
Jay: We've gotta think of a plan. (Continues to pace shaking his head.) What are they going to do to us?!
Styx: Whatever it is, it can't be that bad.
Jay: How do you figure?!
Styx: (Rubs his ears.) They wouldn't be doing-
(PoulErik then enters.)
PoulErik: Food? Drink? Canapé?
Styx: That.
Jay: (Looks at Styx then PoulErik as he's shoved into a throne.) Okay, what's going on? Why are you being nice to us all of a sudden? Why do you have two heads? And which head do I look at when I'm talking to you?
Styx: Stick to the first question.
Jay: Right, why are you being nice?!
PoulErik: We brought some food! Just for you. Gift of Jay.
Jay: (Gasps as he gets up.) My mom used to call me that! I was her precious little gift.
Styx: (Facepalms.) You're so off-topic.
PoulErik: Please, have a seat. (Pushes Jay into a seat.) And relax.
Jay: Are you just trying to distract me? Because it won't work- oh, wow, those look delicious. Maybe just one. (He reaches for the food, but Styx slaps Jay away.) Ah! No!
Styx: We want answers. Where are our friends, and what do you want from us?!
PoulErik: Eat, drink, and enjoy. You are a gift. (To Styx.) And you are just like her.
Styx: ...Right.
Jay: Oh, I get it. You saw me use my elemental powers on those statue brothers, and now you want me to be your king!
Styx: ...What?
Jay: Oh, yeah, I'm flattered, but I can't be a king. I mean, I could. I'd be a great king, but I already have a job. I'm a full-time Ninja. You know, Master of Lightning, saving the world, et cetera, et cetera.
Styx: (Facepalms.) Why did I protect him?
(In the jungle, Lloyd and Crystal make their way to the village. As lightning strikes, the two jump through the various trees before stopping behind some leaves to see where their friends are in a cage.)
Lloyd: There they are. How do we go about this?
Crystal: There are too many to take down, stealth will be our only option.
Lloyd: Makes sense. Okay, so first we're going to take that rope and-
(A growl is heard behind them as the two freeze.)
Crystal: And, we're busted. (The two slowly turn around only to see Zippy come with the coconut.)
Lloyd: Oh, no. Not you again!
Crystal: Aw, he came back! (Zippy pushes the coconut toward her.)
Lloyd: Uh, we don't have time for this. (Tries to keep Zippy away.) Shoo, shoo, get, go! (Sees the coconut.) Can I? (He takes the fruit from Crystal before throwing it away.) There.
Crystal: That was uncalled for.
Lloyd: The mission's for stealth remember? (Crystal looks at him unamused.) I'll apologize afterwards, okay- (He turns around to find Zippy right in front of them with the coconut.) How- you were just- Huh?!
Crystal: (Giggles.) Sorry, Zippy. (She takes the coconut and is about to throw it.) But Lloyd's right, we'll catch up with you afterwar- (She catches sight of the pulley system the islanders are using.) Huh, still don't think he can't help?
Lloyd: Huh? (Crystal throws the coconut as he ducks.) Woah!
(The islander catches the coconut as Zippy goes after them.)
Lloyd: Woah. Good thinking.
Crystal: Thanks. Now come on!
(The two fall before swinging up to another pulley system as Zippy gives Lloyd the coconut.)
Lloyd: Hey, guys. Catch! (He throws the coconut at the two islanders guarding the cells.)
Crystal: Run Zippy! (She waves at the dragon as it continues to chase the islanders.) Now, how do we get them out?
Lloyd: (Sees the weapon on the ground.) I have an idea. (The two jump towards the cells as their friends see them.)
Nya: Lloyd!
Cole: Crystal!
Kai: It's about time!
(Lloyd uses the weapon to open the cells as everyone runs up to them.)
Misako: Oh, Lloyd. (She runs up to him.)
Lloyd: Mom, Master Wu! (He hugs Misako.)
Crystal: Are you all okay? (She hugs Nya.)
Misako: Fine, fine.
Nya: (Stretches her arm.) We're not hurt.
Kai: We're not dead, sooo...good enough.
Cole: Uh...kinda.
Crystal: What do you mean- Nevermind.
Nya: Hey, where's Twitchy?
Crystal: He's back in a cave, we'll pick him up on our way.
Lloyd: Yeah, let's get out of here. This place is crawling with islanders.
Crystal: And Zippy won't be able to keep the others away for long. We gotta be quick.
Nya: We can't go anywhere without Jay.
Cole: Uh, or Styx.
Lloyd: Well, where's Jay and Styx?
Wu: We don't know. They took him somewhere else.
Crystal: What? Why?
Zane: We don't know.
Lloyd: Oh, we don't have time. Let's just find them. (To the explorers) You guys head for camp, and get the catamarans ready. And find Twitchy, he's in a cave to the south. (The explorers nod.)
Crystal: (To the Team) Misako, Master Wu, Lloyd, and Cole will check that way, the rest of us are due east. We have to find them before something bad happens (As they split up, Clutch stays back and pulls Dwayne in another direction.)
(As the Ninja search the village, Zippy distracts the Keepers and causes chaos as Nya and Crystal look at him smiling before high-fiving. Later, the Team regroups, but no one has found Jay yet, and Clutch is missing as well.)
Crystal: (Sees everyone with long-faces.) You're kidding. Nothing?
Lloyd: (Shakes her head.) It's like they disappeared.
Nya: No sign. And we looked everywhere!
Lloyd: (Looks around.) What happened to Clutch?
Cole: Oh, great, now we're missing more people.
Kai: You don't think he'd be foolish enough to go back for that artifact?
Zane: The odds of Clutch being caught are higher even if Zippy is distracting the Keepers.
Nya: Even Clutch isn't that reckless...Is he?
(In the throne room, Clutch takes out the Amulet while standing on Dwayne recklessly with a high probability of being caught.)
Clutch: Hold still, Dwayne!
Lloyd: (Runs up.) Clutch! Don't!
Cole: (Whisper-yells.) Leave it!
Crystal: It doesn't even belong to you!
Clutch: This is a valuable cultural artifact! It deserves to be studied, at my place.
Nya: We don't have time! Leave it!
Kai: Quit stealing! I know you're an explorer but this is ridiculous!
Zane: I am inclined to agree. Any second the Keepers are likely to- (The Keepers electrocute the Ninja.)
Clutch: Gumdrops.
(The Team wakes up to find themselves tied on poles on the beach.)
Lloyd: (Finds himself upside-down.) Oh, boy.
Crystal: (Sighs relieved.) Good, everyone's okay.
Kai: Uh, I don't think it's going to be kept that way for long. (Struggles against the ropes.)
Nya: (She sighs annoyed.) I'm getting a little tired of being zapped.
Cole: (Someone throws a spear at Cole's pole, zapping him.) M-Me t-too!
Nya: (The Keepers pass by with Jay and Styx on a palanquin.) Jay!
Crystal: Styx!
Jay: Nya!
Styx: Crystal!
Lloyd: Where are they taking you?
Styx: (On Jay's head.) We have no idea!
Jay: But it's okay. They don't wanna hurt us, they want me to be their king!
Styx: (The Team looks at him.) Yeah, I don't believe it either.
Jay: They keep calling me "Gift of Jay" and giving me things.
Crystal: Then why do they have Styx?
Jay: Easy, because he's "another of them." Maybe he's made of Islander descent!
Styx: (The Team looks back at him.) I think they put something in the food.
Nya: Uh, why are your hands tied up, Jay? That makes no sense!
Cole: Well, since you're on such friendly terms, could you maybe get them to let us go?
Kai: And tell them to stop zapping us!
Jay: Oh, good idea! We'll try.
Styx: (He annoyingly sighs) Guys?!
Jay: Okay, Gift of Jay and He who is Like Her wants you to untie their friends, okay?
Lloyd: (The Islanders put the throne of a raft.) Why are they putting you both on a raft?
Misako: I don't think they want to give you anything, Jay. I think you're the gift.
Crystal: And whoever they're giving Jay to must be made up of Serpentine descent.
Zane: That makes the most logical sense.
Jay: Me? (Laughs.) No, how can I be a gift? And there aren't any other Serpentine.
Styx: You do know we just found out there was a sixth tribe right?
Jay: Look, the point is how can we be a gift?
Kai: Yeah. Who'd want Jay? Or Styx?
Cole: If you say they're expendable again, Kai-
Kai: I'm just saying! Like, why would anyone want Styx? And who would want Jay?
Nya: Um, me?
Crystal: I guess that includes me too.
Mammatus: Keepers, hear me! (He realizes that the Keepers cannot see him, so his servant gives him a stool, which he stands on.) Ahem. Long before time had a name, we were charged with protecting this world from the wrath of Wojira.
Keepers: Wojira!
Lloyd and Crystal: Wojira?
Misako: An ancient myth, a storm spirit. Some cultures believe it was a giant serpent.
Crystal: Oh...no...
Mammatus: For countless generations, we have fulfilled our duty as they tasked us. (Wu gasps.) Now, for reasons we know not, Wojira awakens. Wojira rises! So we send her gifts.
Keepers: Wojira!
Mammatus: To placate her anger, we pray Wojira will take this gift, and go back to sleep.
Jay: Uh, guys? Come on, this isn't funny!
Nya: Jay? Jay, hold on!
Crystal: Styx you have to get off!
Styx: (He sees himself stuck on the chair.) I can't!
Lloyd: Let us go!
Cole: You're making a huge mistake!
Jay: We're friends, remember? I'm Gift of Jay! And Styx is another of- Oh, wait...
Styx: Wojira's a serpent too!
Jay: Ugh, let us go! Come on! Please! Pretty please?!
Clutch: Guys, relax. This whole Wojira thing, it's a myth! It's not real.
Crystal: She's very real, Clutch.
Misako: I must agree with Crystal, Wojira is not a myth.
Nya: Wait, a minute...are we talking about the same Wojira. As in Wohira?!
Crystal & Misako: Yes!
Jay: Whoa! What's that? Guys? Guys? There's something out here. There's something big out here!
(The Team looks at the fog as it envelops where Jay and Styx's chair was floating. They stare, shocked.)
Kai: I guess someone did want Jay and Styx.
