I started to blink as I realised that I was inside of a building while Shido was already causing an uproar.
Shido: Wa, Yamabuki!? Why are you here!?
Yamabuki: That's my line!?
I looked around to see my powers still unable to be used.
Darren: (Ciel, how long will it take for me to be able to use my powers again?)
Ciel: (Master, around another half an hour.)
I looked around to see all of my former classmates around me as I scanned the surrounding area. It was a familiar space, it was one of the numerous shelters underground of Tenguu City. Apart from Tonomachi and Ai, Mai, and Mii, there were several familiar faces that could be seen.
Darren: Teleportation? Transfer? What exactly...
Ciel: (Master, most likely, Mio teleported you here. Deep down in her heart, she still loves you, but right now, she cares about Shinji Takamiya more.)
Darren: (I can feel the angel's spirit power surging through me, is it possible that my powers are returning?)
Darren: (Wait! Mio said that before erasing Shido's memories, she would first "deal with" the Spirits.)
In order to prevent Shido from hindering that goal, she temporarily moved him to another location. The primordial Spirit <Deus> was the source of power for all of the Spirits. It was no wonder that she would be able to do such a thing with ease.
Darren: (Ciel, tell me where I am right now.)
Ciel: (I am still hiding your life response so that the others and enemy will still think that you are dead. While replacing your dead body with a clone. Only one that knows are you alive is Tohka.)
Darren: (I see, but can I please get information on where I am now?)
Rimuru: (We are inside a secret bunker. Underneath the school.)
Darren: (Shido still thinks that I am dead, right?)
Rimuru: (No doubt that he still thinks you are dead.)
Darren: (Good, but...!)
If Mio's confidence in her ability to end everything before he could return from here. Then, I need to make a move quickly.
Darren: (Mio Takamiya, from the looks of it, has three angels.)
Ciel: (To be able to analyze it that quickly despite only having a few encounters with her. Impressive.)
I dashed towards the exit of the shelter, but of course, the exit was closed off by thick gates. In front of there, a teacher seemed to be supervising everyone. It was the homeroom teacher of Shido's class, Tama-chan sensei.
Darren: (That old woman. If could right now, I would burn the doors away to smithereens.)
Tama: Hmm...what's the matter, Itsuka-Kun? Isn't the alarm not over yet?
Darren: (Ciel, rewrite everyone's memories and make my form into like Rimuru-Sensei.)
Ciel: (Hai, what would you like to rewrite into?)
Darren: (Say that I was a new student in the class, named Satoru Tempest.)
Ciel: (Hai!)
I changed my form into Rimuru as i slowly walked towards the class, hiding behind numerous people.
Shido: Sorry, but please let me through. I have to go.
Tama: W-what are you saying! Right now outside is in the middle of a spacequake!? It's too dangerous!
I slowly walked towards the class and changed my voice.
Darren: What's going on, Sensei?
Everyone looked towards me and sighed in relief except Shido.
Darren: (Ciel didn't change Shido's memories, huh?)
Tama: Tempest-Kun?
Darren: Yes?
Tama: The highest-graded student in all of history, Satoru Tempest?
Darren: Of course, that's me.
Shido: Wait, who are-
Darren: This isn't something we should talk about in public, Itsuka-Kun,
I dragged Shido towards a private space where he started to question me.
Shido: So, who are you?
Darren: I'm a helper called by Darren, he wanted me to help you guys before he died.
Shido: So then how did everyone remember you?
Darren: I changed their memories and made them think of me as the top student in the class.
Shido: What's your name then?
Darren: Satoru Tempest.
Shido: I see.
Darren: (What is this feeling? If only... I was normal for once, no, I was normal, ten months ago, I was a nobody but just another kid being abused by their parents. I was a nobody. But, Shido Itsuka, you are just like me, you long for peace, and this is why. Despite us being past haters of each other, I will help you just this once.)
At that time, Tonomachi and the Ai, Mai, Mii trio, who all saw the commotion, all caught up to Shido and me.
Tonomachi: Hey, what's the matter, Itsuka-Kun, Tempest-Kun?
Ai: Well, Itsuka-Kun and Tempest-Kun are acting stranger than usual... Just now.
Mai: What's the matter? Did you lose something?
Darren/ Shido: No, I'm heading to the spacequake; I forgot the most important thing.
As everyone started to stare at us, I just shrugged my shoulders and turned away toward Shido.
Darren: Shido, this is your problem, after all. Darren only called me to assist, not to do anything else.
Darren: (That's right, it's only been ten months since I met everyone, not even a year had passed. I could've easily run away by myself and been alone again. But... these ten months had been the most valuable and important time of my life so far...! I've never felt so obliged to protect someone, even if it means helping my nemesis.)
Shido: We have to go, Tempest, we have to head to where Tohka, Origami, and the others are!
As Shido responded back, Tonomachi and the others narrowed their eyes as they looked around.
Tama: Yeah, this really is troublesome for Itsuka-Kun and Tempest-Kun.
Shido: T-Tonomachi, Yamabuki, Hazakura, Fujibakama... Tempest, let's go!
Tonomachi: Hurry up and go! You're keeping Tohka-chan and the others waiting aren't you!?
Yamabuki: Since you're a playboy, a playboy needs to take care of the girl, right!?
Hazakura: You can thank me by treating me to lunch tomorrow! Fujibakama
Fujibakama: Let us help on occasion as well! Hey...sensei, isn't this too much strength for someone as handsome as yourself...
Darren/ Shido: Everyone...
Tama: hey, Tempest-Kun, Itsuka-Kun, you can't! It's pointless! The door won't open until the alarm is lifted!
Darren: Who said that?
I summoned black fire around me as I slowly walked towards the door.
Darren: Zaphkiel.
I summoned a giant clock behind me as I summoned my guns.
Shido: Wha-
Darren: I call upon you! The Fire that can burn everything in my path, my past, present, and future all fused into one. Zaphkiel, Third Bullet, Gimmel!
I shot the door while destroying it with black fire.
Darren: Oi, Itsuka, we have to move.
I ran up the stairs while Shido did the same, the moment that we reach a private area though, Shido placed his hand on my shoulder.
Shido: You're not who you say you are, aren't you?
Darren: Smart, Shido. But, I won't reveal anything to you yet.
Shido: At least... tell me what are you?
Darren: Just someone that Darren trusts.
-To the fight-
3rd Person POV:
Tohka: What... where did you send Shido and Darren?
Mio: No need to worry. It's dangerous here, so I've temporarily evacuated them to a safe place.
Tohka: (She knows that Darren is alive?)
Yes, although they weren't able to listen to everything, both Tohka and the Yamai sisters had heard a part of the conversation between Shido and Mio through the intercom. They were also able to hear that Darren died on the battlefield, but the only one that knew that Darren was still alive, was Tohka.
Tohka: Mio... you are Reine?
Mio: Yep, that's correct, it seems like Darren's lesson on teaching you everything did work a bit.
Although both her appearance and voice were younger, the atmosphere around her was certainly identical to the analytic officer that Tohka was familiar with. Tohka tightened her face while biting her lips with the back of her teeth.
Tohka: Reine. Can't you rethink this over? I've been given a lot of care from you. If possible, I don't want to fight you.
Mio: Nope.
Tohka: Is that so? That's really a shame.
Tohka let out a light breath before lowering her back and resuming her stance with <Sandalphon>.
Tohka: I will not forgive you for killing Darren!
Tohka: It's not an enemy whom we can attack one by one. We must attack together.
Kaguya and Yuzuru's feelings were likely the same as Tohka. The twins lifted their Angels with a voice filled with determination and vigilance. We can see another one of Darren's clones looking down at the battlefield.
Clone 1: Sad-
Suddenly, his chest was pierced with a sword.
???: I don't want a clone of my darling, I want the real deal.
???2: Calm down. We're just here to watch the fight until Darren Satoru shows himself.
???3: True, Yuko Pendragon and Lucas Yuto are also in hiding, I don't know where they disappeared to.
???: Who cares about them?! I just want to see my darling!
???2: Calm down, Darren Satoru isn't dead you know. The face of that woman, her face doesn't seem to be one of revenge, her EQ skills are not that good.
???: That's the point! I WANNA SEE HIM AND TELL HIM EVERYTHING!

Suddenly a wave of Nibelcols, those miniature and pseudo spirits that you call.
???: Disgusting, they can never be as good as my darling.
???2: Interesting, they are starting their counterattack now.
Mio slowly raised her left hand and in an instant, the space above her began to distort. From there, an object with the figure of an enormous sphere manifested.
Mio: <Sanctuary of All Creation (Ain Soph Aur)> Bloom.

3rd Person POV:
Commander 1: <Almandal>, minor damage inflicted on starboard!
Commander 2: <Honorius> is engaged against the <Ratatoskr> ship!
Commander 3: The 13th unit of <Bandersnatch> has been all eliminated, deploying the 15th unit. There have been multiple signs of malfunctioning.
Issac: I see... Darren Satoru, your machines are extremely well made, which means that you must know how to make them malfunction.
While listening to the countless voices and communications signals through his ears, DEM industries' Executive Managing Director, Isaac Westcott, narrowed his rusted eyes.
Issac: How is the war situation, captain?
Then, Westcott made a short retort to Captain Ernest Brennan, who was positioned on the captain's seat. Afterward, Brenan replied back with a light breath.
Brennan: In all fairness, I didn't expect the enemy to be so difficult. Although I had no intention of underestimating the enemy, I couldn't imagine losing so much of our forces. The other side's struggle even makes me want to give them my applause. Despite already losing their king and the backbone to challenge us.
Issac: You must mean Darren Satoru, Yuko Pendragon, and Lucas Yuto. The three suddenly disappeared all of a sudden.
At a time when the war situation is deteriorating, blindly bluffing was of no use. Being able to easily communicate information about the war effort was an invaluable ability.
Issac: Darren Satoru is dead, Yuko Pendragon is presumably unknown and Lucas Yuto is also unknown, but... Darren Satoru's death seemed too unnatural.
Brennan: Although that is the case please rest assured. The disparity between the enemy and ourselves has not been subverted. Please be patient and watch the results of this hunt. Now that they lost Darren Satoru, Yuko Pendragon, and Lucas Yuto and we have the Monarch's support on our side. We basically got this in the bag, the soldiers are now diminishing the strengths of the spirits and the wind soldiers are being whittled down.
Issac: I look forward to the-
Westcott's eyebrows began to shake as the man stopped speaking.
Issac: Y-yes, it's a spirit wave response... and it's massive! But, there are two. This means that Darren Satoru did not die yet! So that means, Yuko Pendragon and Lucas Yuto have not died yet as well!
Brennan: What did you say...!?
On the main monitor of the bridge, a girl wearing an Astral Dress and a gigantic flower-like object floating above her were being displayed.
Issac: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Yuko POV:
Yuko: I don't know why you helped us, but this better be good.
???: Relax, I simply just wanted to help you after my lord's orders.
Lucas: So, Darren still ordered you to help us despite being unknown right now, huh? Igris.
Igris: My lord gave me a purpose once more, so I would be there at his beck and call. Recover here as I deal with the soldiers outside.
Lucas: It's safe to assume that the Monarchs are here, right?
Igris: They have not made note of themselves yet, but yes, they are here. Recover as quickly as possible, for my liege needs your help in this war.
Yuko: I'll make a quick note of that.
