Jacob was in the compound, talking to Klaus.

"What do you mean they're missing?" Klaus asked." A few hours ago, Hope took off with one of our students from school." Jacob answered. Klaus was angry. "What?" He said angrily.

"We're looking for them." Jacob told him. "In fact, our entire Honors Tracking class is on it." He told him.

"Who's this kid?" Klaus asked. "I'm gonna kill them." He told Jacob." no you're not and besides. We can't pinpoint their location yet." Jacob answered.

" But they seem to be heading somewhere just outside of Massachusetts." He told Klaus.

"So they're coming home, why." Klaus said and
Jacob shrugged. "You can ask them when we find them. Let's go." Jacob said before walking away with Klaus following behind.

Roman was driving his car down a road at night, Hope sat next to Roman, looking through the playlist on his phone. Hope chuckled.

" Okay, I knew your hair had emo tendencies, but your music?" She said." Shade thrown and caught," Roman said as he took his phone from her. Hope laughed.

" Give me that. Quit judging and lean in." He told her. Roman raised his phone to take a picture.

"No, I'II do it," Hope told him, grabbing his phone and taking a selfie of them together. "My mom would kill us if she knew that we were taking selfies and driving. Though compared to binding my werewolf side, I'd just say it's just a demeanor." She told him. You nervous?" Roman asked.

"My cousin Olivia, basically said that I'd regret it for the rest of my lives," Hope answered. "And from what I've read in my dad's journals, it's horrible. So, you know, actually kind of terrified." Hope said looking down.

"Well, you said you feel like a freak." Roman told her." I don't know, maybe this will help." He told her." Still, it's--it's strange cutting out a part of yourself that you barely even know," Hope replied.

"So, you won't miss it," Roman said. "Anyway, you'll still be you." He said." Doesn't matter," Hope told him. 'Cause I'm doing it, I'm stubborn. Mom says it's a family trait." She said and smiled.

"You know, your mom should be proud of you." Roman replied." That's weird," Hope said. Roman looked at her. "I think someone may be tracking us. Pull over. I--I need to be somewhere quiet." She said as Roman pulled over and hope got out leaving.

Roman quickly got his phone out and called somebody. "Hey, I--I have Hope and a witch on call to do the binding. What's next?" He asked." Take them to Shiloh Place and sit tight." Greta said.

"Mom, can't it be somewhere else?" Roman asked." Like anywhere else?" He asked." Do as you're told." Greta answered. "Go there now and wait to hear from me. You've done very well, my darling. I'm proud of you." She said before hanging up. Hope came back.

Hope got back into the car with Roman.

"Someone's definitely tracking us," Hope told him.
"I can cloak us, but there's something else we gotta do on the way." She told him and Roman nodded.

☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎

Klaus was pacing outside a diner, waiting for Jacob. Jacob walked out with some coffee.

" They just texted. My tracking class should be zeroing in on them." He said and handed Klaus a cup. "We should have a location nailed down any minute." He told klaus and drunk his coffee.

"So what, we just wait here and sip rancid diner coffee?" Klaus asked." Or you can think about what you'll say when you see your daughter." Jacob suggested.

" Or more importantly, what you won't say. It'll be tempting to lash out, but you'll regret it later." He said and Klaus looked at Jacob. "You know, you have a lot to answer for and for losing daughter." Klaus said.

"She's not lost klaus." Jacob started but Klaus cut him off." is this your way on telling me how I'm a bad father and how are you trying to give me lessons. He said.

" hey, you said it not me, Hope told me everything between you two." Jacob said." so what, you and my daughter, just best friends now." Klaus said glaring at him.

" gosh klaus I am trying to help you fix your relationship with your daughter, but you are being very stubborn. Nina told me you changed for the better I doubt it." He said and his phone buzzed, he looked at it. "Oh. My tracking class failed, but we have our location." He told klaus.

"How?" Klaus asked." Find my iPhone." Jacob told him, taking his coffee as she walked away. "Let's go." He said and they got into the car.

☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎

It was morning when Roman parked his car outside a house in the middle of nowhere, the location Greta had told him to go.

Roman and Hope got out of the car and headed towards the house.

"Wow, your witch really goes for atmosphere,
Hope said." She's not my witch." Roman replied.

"She's just a witch I know." He said and she rolled her eyes." Not your witch. Got it." Hope said.

"Are you okay?" Hope asked, noticing his mood.
"Look, Hope." Roman trailed off. Hope looked
back at him.

" You know I like you, right?" He said and Hope chuckled, softly. "Well, I didn't think you drove me all this way because you hated me." She said

"It's just there's gonna be some things I have to explain," Roman said." Look, sorry, but the only thing worst than doing this is waiting to do this." Hope told him.

Hope reached his hand out to open the door.

"Stop!" Roman told her and she looked at him." It's spelled." He said and kicked over some stones, breaking the spell. "You can go in." He told her.

Hope opened the door and walked inside, Roman followed her. They saw Nina sitting, tied up and weak.

" Mom!" Hope ran towards Nina. Nina looked at her daughter." Hope." Nina said happy to see that her daughter was okay." What is this?" Hope asked.

Roman walked closer. Nina sat up straight upon seeing him. "You." She said as Hope turned to face Roman, only to be shackled by him.

I'm so sorry," Roman told her.

☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎

Jacob was driving her car towards the location where Hope, Roman, and Nina were.

"We turn off in 4.1 miles," Jacob stated, Klaus looked at him." do you regret disowning me as your brother." Klaus asked and Jacob was taken aback.

" Really?" Jacob asked." Do you?" Klaus asked.

"Okay, if it'll take your mind off of want to murder an innocent teenage boy, then yes and no." He said and klaus stared at him.

" When you had apologized and wanted to be brothers, it gave me hope thinking we would finally be the brothers everyone wanted us to be. But every time I look at you, all I see is the man who almost tried to kill my son." Jacob told him.

" and I regret it every day of my existence, Jacob. I had lost Nina. I had watched them, slid her throat as she was holding our child. I feared I was going to lose hope to. I couldn't let that happen, so I was so stupid and I almost sacrifice one of my family members to save another." Klaus told him.

" we have all done stupid and unspeakable things. We've all done bad things and I shouldn't hold you against it. Only thing that matters is that I saved my son, and he is doing well, and he is learning how to be himself." Jacob said and klaus nodded." I forgive you, klaus.

Klaus smiled and turned away to hold his tears. He wiped them away before sighing.

" so is it true that you have more kids?" Klaus asked and Jacob chuckled." Yes, five of them actually." He said." One being Davina and two the Twins, what about the other two?" He asked.

" you should know after all you did buried one of them." He said and klaus looked down." so you met blossom." He said." yes I did and I know all about what you did to her and her mother Aurora." he said and klaus stiffed.

" but like I said, before klaus, I forgive you." Jacob said and klaus sighs in relief." and your last child." He asked." now that is a very long story, we went against an enemy, called the collectors, who wanted Hayley to serve one year of her life. So I took her place, a year later I was kidnapped by an old enemy of ours. Brooke." He said and klaus chuckled.

" I guess your ex came to haunt you." Klaus told him." indeed, when she took me and prevented me from going back home, she weakened me long enough to impregnate herself. Months later, she gave birth to our son Bay, only had to try and kill him to bring back her people." Jacob told him.

" so now me and Hayley raised him together." He said and klaus nodded.

☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎

Hope was trying to free herself from the anti-magic shackles, but had no luck. Roman was giving Nina some water to drink.

"What's going on?" Hope asked, looking at Roman.

"He's the one that led them to me in the church attic," Nina answered.

"Wait, but how did you know where she was?" Hope asked. Roman walked towards his bag, putting down the water bottle. Hope came to a realization.

" You got inside my head. The first day you touched me, when you tucked my hair behind my ear. You were really just trying to figure out where my mom was hidden." She said angrily. Roman stepped closer to her.

" Hope, look, I know this looks bad, okay? But if you just do the binding spell--" he said but got interrupted." Binding spell?" Nina repeated. "What's he talking about?" She asked.

"Greta said that if I--I did the binding spell, then they'd let you live," Hope answered, looking at her mother." Greta said that?" Nina asked.

"It's just so Hope can't make anymore hybrid." Roman said. "Our movement is about getting the natural order back, that's all my mom wants." He said.

"Wait. Greta's your mom?" Hope asked, angrily. Nina started to pull at her restraints, furiously.

"Untie me. Now!" He yelled out." I can't," Roman said. "Okay? Just do the binding spell and you'll be fine." He told them.

"Nothing will be fine for you unless you untie me,"
Nina told him, glaring at him.

" how could you." Hope said and Roman looked at her." please Hope I just don't want nothing to happen to you, but if you do it, you'll be free." He said.

" so what if I do, do it? Half of my family can sire hybrids, my uncle Jacob, Henrik, Andrea and Blossom. What are you gonna do, come after them to" she said and he sighs in frustration.

☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎

Nina looked at Roman. "You realize that your mother is insane!" She yelled out.

"It's not insane to defend yourself, okay?" Roman said. "Werewolves kill to trigger their curse. None of them are innocent, but at least they're a naturally occuring species. Hybrids are a perversion." Nina glared at him.

" Look at Klaus and--and Henry was a hybrid for less than a day before he murdered someone. They're just unnatural." He told them.

"Well, um, at least I know how you really feel," Hope said, hurt because her and most of her family were hybrids.

"Hybrids have a choice too, Roman," Hayley told him. "We all have free will. Klaus did whatever he did not because he's a hybrid, but because he's Klaus." She said.

"Henry is just a kid," Nina said. "Eventually, he'll learn self-control." Mom," Hope said." What?" Nina asked." Henry's dead," Hope answered. Nina was in shock. "What happened?" She asked.

"They tore his heart out and strung him up outside on a building." Hope informed her. Nina's shock turned into anger. "Who did?" She asked.

"No one knows," Hope told her." I bet Roman's mother does," Nina replied. Hope looked at Roman.
"Think about it," Nina told them. "If they did that to some poor backwoods Bayou kid that they barely even knew, imagine what they're gonna do to us." She said.

" No," Roman denied. "No, my mom just wants peace. If you bind yourselves, you'll be free. You'll see." He told them confidently." And if you believe that, then you really are a fool." Nina told him.

"Your mother doesn't want to bind us, Roman." Nina said. "She wants to kill us.

Klaus and Jacob arrived at the location where Hope and Roman were supposed to be.

"I don't get it," Jacob said. "They should be here."
"Where the bloody hell are they?" Klaus asked.
Jacob dialled a number. Roman and Hope's phones were on the ground, one of them was ringing.

Jacob picked up the ringing phone." They really don't want to be found." He told klaus.

Klaus picked up the other phone and they looked at the selfie of Hope and Roman.

"Hmm." Klaus said, going through the photos on the other phone, seeing one of Roman anf Greta.
"Why is he with her?" He asked." Greta's Roman's mother," Jacob told him.

"This isn't just two kids running away." Klaus replied. "My daughter is in real trouble." He said snd Jacob's eyes widened." let's go.

Roman's witch was casting the binding spell on Nina, pressing the hot blood-soaked moonstone against her palm to brand her as she chanted the spell. Nina had agreed to do the binding spell instead of her daughter..

Nina was screaming in pain.

Hope looked away, uncomfortable. The witch pulled the moonstone away. Nina panted." It's a piece of cake." She said." Liar." Hope said.

The witch reheated the moonstone and prepared to brand Nina on the forehead, still chanting." Look away," Nina told them. "Hope, look away." She told her.

Hope looked away from seeing the agony Nina felt as she was branded. She started to cry as Nina continued to scream.

After the ritual was over, Nina leaned her head back as her werewolf side was successfully repressed, making her just a vampire now.

" there." The witch said." Hope looked at Nina in concern. Roman looked at his witch. "How do we know if it worked?" He asked.

The witch just looked at him, untying one of the rope's around Nina's wrists and brought her arm out into the sunlight creeping in. Nina's skin instantly started to burn.

"See, nothing but a vampire now," the witch told him before bending down to loosen the rest of the ropes. Nina looked at Hope, nodding and dug her fangs into the witch's neck, killing her.

"Stop!" Roman protested before Hope broke his neck. Nina hurried to free herself as she got up from the chair.

"Let's go, let's go." Hope told her. They ran to the door. Hope opened the door and stopped abruptly.

" Wait." Hope said stopping herself. Nina looked down, knowingly. Hope looked at Nina, sadly. "You can't." She said." No," Nina agreed." But you can." She told Hope.

Hope shook her head. "I'm not going without you." Hope told her. Nina placed her hands on her shoulders.

" I cloaked you as a hybrid. The second you finished that spell, Vincent's beacon started flipping out. They know where to find us now." Hope said.

Nina cupped Hope's face. "And I will be fine. But it all makes sense now. They could have killed me at any time and they didn't. It's you that they want." She said and Hope shook her head.

No, I can take care of myself." Hope said." No," Nina told her. "It's not your strength that they're afraid of. You are Mikaelson witches with a werewolf mother and an Original father. Hope, you are the one that can finally unite all the Factions and that goes against everything that they believe in. They thrive on hatred and you . .." Nina held Hope's hand.

" You, my sweet girl, are their worst fear. Which means you have to go. Now." Nina told her." Go, go." Nina said and Hope started to head out only for Greta to blew a powder on Hope, making her fall unconscious.

Nina rushed forward to attack, Greta pushed her back, making her fall and rushed to rip down the curtains, preventing Nina from making another move against her because of the sunlight.

"If you lay one finger on my daughter." Nina trailed off." I'd say you're not in a terribly good position to make threats." Greta said. Roman woke up.

"Mom?" He said looking at her.

"Roman, are you all right?" Greta asked in concern.
"Yeah, everything's fine." Roman answered. "Nina did the binding spell and Hope will to. And then we can let them go." He said.

"Darling, if only we could," Greta told him.
Roman looked at Nina and, realizing they were right.

Klaus and Jacob finally arrived at the house. Klaus marched towards the house. Jacob followed before Elijah tempted to snap his neck.

Jacob turned around, twisting Elijah's arm, pushing him back. Klaus heard the Hollow's whispers and turned around in surprise. Elijah picked up a rake, removing the handle.

"What are you doing here?" Klaus asked." Protecting my family." Elijah answered, rushing to break the handle over his knee and throwing one half towards Klaus and Jacob.

Klaus was shocked Elijah would try to kill him.

"They're your family?" Klaus said

"Hope is in there." Klaus told him, pointing to the house. Elijah shook his head. "It's not my problem." He told them.

"What about Nina?" Klaus asked. "You loved her once." The woman I love has a brother in there," Elijah answered. "You're not going in there." He said.

"Well, it shows how little you actually remember of your old life because if you did, you'd know there's no way you can stop the both of us. Klaus transformed, his eyes glowing gold.

They rushed towards each other.

Roman stood. "But you said if they just bound their werewolf side." He told his mother.

"Klaus Mikaelson was bound, but found a way to break it," Greta told him. "There are always loopholes and we cannot afford anymore hybrids." She said.

"So your solution is to kill a couple of kids?"
Nina asked, enraged. Roman saw that Hope was unconscious.

"What the hell did you do to her? Hope?" Nina reached her hand out, testing her weakness against the sun. "Hope?" He said once again.

"It's easier for them this way," Greta said.
Roman looked at his mother. "I don't understand what's happening." He asked.

"If we want peace, we cannot allow any apex predators to exist," Greta told him. Nina stood.

Nina turned her head, hearing the Mikaelson brothers fighting. Nina shook her head. "Roman, you don't have to do this. She's not werewolf or a hybrid, she's your friend and you care about her. I know you do." Nina told him.

Roman looked down at Hope, sighing. "Please, Mom. Please, don't make me do this. Please, don't--" he said begging.

Give that to me!" Greta said, raising the stake." Mother, no!" Roman yelled. Nina rushed forward through the sunlight and pushed Greta against the wall.

Greta threw Nina against the wall and gripped her by the throat. Klaus rushed in, stopping when he saw Nina. Nina looked at him and smiled.

Elijah came up behind Klaus and shoved a stake in his back. Klaus cried out in pain and fell to his knees. Nina gasped in horror as she watched.
Elijah was thrown back as Jacob punched him in the face. They both started to fight.

Greta smirked, chuckling before shoving her hand into Nina's chest, making her scream.

Time seemed to slow down as Nina looked around at everyone. Klaus raised his head, looking at Nina as blood poured from his mouth.

Nina glanced at Roman, who was looking at Hope with worry as he cradled her and then she moved her gaze to klaus.

Greta twisted her wrist, preparing to rip Nina's heart out. Nina looked at klaus and Hope, giving them a farewell smile. Klaus pushed himself to stand.

Nina closed her eyes because she wasn't afraid.
With this final act, she would finally be able to find peace.

Nina looked at Greta and time returned to normal as she bent Greta's finger back and ripped it off, making her daylight ring fall to the floor.

Nina grabbed Greta and rushed them both outside, making them fall on the lawn and burst into flames.

" NO!!!!" Klaus bellowed, heartbroken.

Jacob had just in time snapped Elijah's neck before turning to see Greta and Nina burning on the ground.

Klaus couldn't hold in his emotions, he let the tears fall freely as he watched the mother of his child burn. Jacob looked at klaus sadly.

He may not have liked Nina, but Hope didn't deserve to lose her mother at such a young age.

☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎☯︎

Jacob laid Hope in bed as she hasn't woken up yet. He turns to see Klaus looking at him.

" are you okay?" He asked." I will be, I can't stay here much longer, so I'm going to go call Olivia to watch Hope." He said and Jacob nodded.

" as much as I would love to stay, I have a family I have to get back to." Jacob said and klaus nodded." farewell, brother." Klaus said as Jacob hugged klaus as he cried.

Farewell to you too

Jacob slowly left heading back home. When he got there, he told the family the tragic news, and they all mourn for Hope and wishing her the best.
