Haechan raises an eyebrow when a group of familiar people enter the donut shop. Chenle and Jaemin smile happily, followed by an amused Jisung, Jeno, and awkward looking Mark.
"What can I get you?" Haechan asks, plastering a very fake smile on his face that makes Mark and Jisung laugh.
Haechan tries not to burst out laughing when the three males dramatically step back and gesture to Chenle and Jaemin.
After he gets their donuts, writes down a few of their milkshake orders, and gives Jeno a bottle of orange juice, he rings them up and watches in amusement as they all try to figure out how they're going to pay.
"Okay, I'll just pay", Jaemin volunteers.
"Absolutely not", Chenle and Jisung say in unison.
Jaemin pouts, only getting noticed by Haechan who lightly chuckles and offers him a smile.
"Okay, I'm literally gonna smack all of you, let me pay", Jeno says in attempt to end their argument.
Chenle instantly shuts up and gestures to the register, grinning when his best friend rolls his eyes.
"Is Jaemin okay?" Mark asks when he sees Jaemin cringe at the total.
"It's just his insufferable urge to spend money", Jisung answers, waving it off.
He grins at Jaemin who glares at him. His expression quickly turns to fear when his best friend takes a step forward.
"I'm sorry! Don't hurt me!"
Jaemin smirks and pretends to think before moving away from Jisung and back to the counter.
Jisung gasps dramatically. "Oh my God, I almost died."
"He didn't even do anything."
"But he could've, and that's the scary part."
"Don't mess with Jaemin", Haechan adds, not looking up from the drink he's making.
When everything is done, Haechan comes out from behind the counter and sits at a table near them, folding boxes so it looks like he's working.
"Do many people come in here?" Mark asks.
"No. I love it."
Mark takes a sip of his drink, nodding. "Oh, this is really good."
"Mine too, Cookie."
Haechan looks down and clears his throat so they won't see him blush. "Thank you."
Oh, I wanna kiss you, Jaemin thinks, feeling disappointed that he can't.
"Can I ask you four a question?" Chenle says, getting all of their attention. "Just asking, would you four ever go on a date gain now that we've got everything settled?"
The four boys avoid eye contact with each other, trying not to let their blushes show. The couple tries to hold in their laughter but the sight is just too amazing. Chenle lifts his phone up, Jisung following.
"You two love this, don't you?" Jeno asks.
"Yes."
"So is anyone ever gonna answer?" Haechan asks quietly, feeling awkward from the attention. "Um, I don't mind but it's okay if you don't want to."
"I don't mind either", Jaemin says, avoiding eye contact with everyone.
"Um, me either."
"Stop looking at me like that, I don't mind either."
"Should we redo the first one?" Haechan suggests.
"We could."
"Do you want me and Jisung on standby again?"
"You're supposed to always be on standby."
"You know what I mean."
"You could", Mark says, looking around for confirmations.
"Awesome, when?"
"Can we go when there's less people?"
"Cookie, we were at a mall."
Haechan flips Jisung off right as a customer walks in. The five burst out laughing at how quickly his demeanor changes.
"I'll be right with you!" He says, getting a nod from the man.
He rushes behind the counter and does his best to look polite and friendly.
"What can I get you?"
"Well, I came here for a donut but I wouldn't mind your number either."
Haechan freezes, shooting panicked glances at the table before trying to recover and smiling once again. "I can only serve you donuts and drinks on our menu."
The guy chuckles. "I get it. I'll just get a chocolate donut, a glazed donut, and a vanilla milkshake."
Thank God, everyone(except the guy) thinks.
"Got it", Haechan says and gets to work on the guys order.
Jaemin keeps his eyes on Haechan, trying not show it. He relaxes even the guy finally leaves and Haechan comes back over to them.
He stands up and hold his arms out. "I want a hug."
Haechan complies and gives Jaemin a big hug, subtly pressing a kiss to his cheek in the process. Jaemin doesn't even try to hide it when he gives Haechan a kiss to his cheek as well, wishing he could give him more affection than this.
"Haechan, come here", Jisung says when they pull away.
Haechan holds his arms out, expecting Jisung to hug him. Which he does right before pulling him down onto his lap.
Chenle stands up and looks at the three sitting down expectantly. He almost goes to Jaemin but decides to sit on Jenos lap and pushes Mark in the direction of Jaemin.
"Um, what are we doing this for?"
"Affection."
"Uh, what?"
Jaemin smiles. "You don't have to."
Fuck, he's pretty
"Mark, three seconds before I let Jaemin hold me like a teddy bear."
"Uh sure?" Mark says to Jaemin and sits down, trying to ignore the quickening of his heart.
Especially when Jaemin holds him tighter and rests his chin on his shoulder, making him feel everything.
"Mark, are you blushing?" Jeno asks.
"Shut the fuck up."
The door opens right as a voice says, "Well, it looks really fucking gay in here."
"Straight people don't work here", Haechan says without bothering to see who it is.
"Are you joking?"
"Doyoung?"
"It'd be really nice if we got hugs."
Chenle and Haechan panic as they got pushed off Jisung and Jenos lap so the two can hug their friends.
"No, I wasn't joking", Haechan responds to Doyoung. "Literally one straight person works here and barely."
Doyoung nods in understanding against Jeno's head. Catching sight of Chenles phone, the ravenette smiles and then angles Jeno to face the camera as well.
Jisung does the same for Jisung and Yuta who make multiple poses, laughing happily. Chenle can't help but smile at his boyfriends laugh, thoroughly getting distracted.
Once they calm down, Haechan asks, "You came in here for donuts, right?"
"Oh, yeah."
"Taeyong threw me out the door when he found out I wanted to get donuts. He almost came but...uh, he's busy."
Haechan tries not show that he's affected by the mention of the male. He goes back behind the counter and does his best to think of nothing but the donuts and the milkshake recipes.
"Wait, have you guys seen Jaehyun?" Mark asks.
"Doyoung, get me that crunchy donut I like. And the one with sprinkles."
"I know that", Doyoung replies in an annoyed tone and then turns to Haechan to order.
Yuta sits down in front of Mark, completely unfazed by him being on some hot persons lap.
"Johnny and Jaehyun miss you. They agreed that they wouldn't tell you that but I think it's fun if you know."
"I am so gonna tease them about this", Mark says. "But you can tell them I miss them too."
"Will do", Yuta says before focusing on Jaemin. "Who might you be and are you single?"
"I'm Jaemin and I'm...in the dating process."
"He's not available", Jisung adds.
"Just curious, don't worry. He's just hot."
Chenle coos when he sees Jaemin blush, earning him even more attention.
Haechan glances up and takes notice of what's happening. "He's fucking adorable", he announces to make things worse.
Without looking, Jaemin holds up a middle finger in Haechans direction, making everyone laugh. Haechan quickly finishes Doyoungs order and rejoins his friends once again.
Doyoung and Yuta linger in the donut shop, getting to know the new people and tease the ones they do know.
Before they leave, Yuta rubs Jisungs hair affectionately, smiling brightly. Jisung gives him one last hug and then goes to sit back down, only to get pulled onto his boyfriends lap.
"Please don't makeout, kids come in here."
"I just don't wanna throw up."
Chenle rolls his eyes, pulling Jisung closer before resting his chin on his shoulder like Jaemin had done to Mark earlier. "I'm not gonna do anything", he mumbles. "Just want Jisung close."
"Now, they're really gonna kiss."
"Shut up."
Will I ever shut up about how pretty Jaemin is?

Okay I wrote what was gonna be this chapter then decided I hated it and made this one instead. I like the idea of the one I didn't use and I still kinda wanna include it but better.
