"Mark!"
Mark gently hugs Darci, smiling politely over his shoulder at his boyfriend.
"This is my boyfriend, Em!"
"Nice to meet you, man."
Em accepts his handshake with a nod. Darci's attention turns to Chenle who's talking to Ten.
"I'll be right back."
The two nod.
"Yo, I've heard a lot about you", Mark says to Em.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I remember Darci texting me and he was like, 'I think I like somebody and he started telling me about you and stuff and then one day he was like 'Mark, I think I love him'."
"He told you that?"
"He talks about you all the time. In every conversation, somehow, he mentions you. It's really cute."
"I didn't know he did that."
Mark nods.
"Mark, you asshole, come give me a hug!"
The two chuckle at that and move over to where Ten, Chenle, and Darci are. Mark holds out his arms and wraps them around Ten who gives him a gentle squeeze. Right when they start to pull away, Ten kisses Marks cheek and gives him a flirtatious grin that makes Mark roll his eyes, playfully.
"You guys should kiss Mark more often."
"You don't have to."
"I'm definitely going to."
"It's so funny when Mark turns red."
"Thanks."

Jaemin smiles at his phone for a few seconds before pocketing it and getting ready to leave his apartment.
When he arrives, he texts Haechan. As he approaches the apartment, the door swings open and out comes Haechan.
"Hi", Jaemin greets into the hug.
"Hi", Haechan mumbles against him before kissing the spot in front of his lips.
Jaemin waddles them inside and shuts the door. Haechan tries to stop himself and get some semblance of control over himself but Jaemin is right here, making him feel too many things that he loves. And he doesn't even wanna contain himself if he doesn't have to.
Before he knows it, he's holding his face and kissing him. He's trying to take all he can get for the five minutes they have, that he knows won't be enough.
Jaemin grins into the kiss, feeling elated at the males reaction to him. He loves that Haechan likes him and that he shows it, especially like this, when he's kissing him like it's the end of the world.
The whole five minutes is spent just like that but Haechan still pouts when they pull away.
"Remember, I have to drop you off so we'll have more time."
"One more kiss?"
"You are so fucking cute."
Jaemin squeals when Haechan gets shy and avoids eye contact. He peppers kisses all over his face before giving one long one to his lips.
Haechan sighs, trying to calm himself and not make the decision not to see Jeno at all so he can spend time with Jaemin. He does want to see him, he just really wants kisses.
Jeno's kiss felt nice too
Haechan clears his throat, focusing on finding his key to lock the apartment. When he's done, he feels a hand take his.
He smiles at Jaemin who winks. It heart flutters even more when Jaemin lifts his hand and places a gentle kiss to it. Haechan does the same thing, unfortunately having to let go right after to get in Jaemins car.
When he sits down, he feels Jaemin squeeze his hand again before it leaves him to turn on the ignition and then the radio.
"How are you?" Haechan asks, breaking their five-minute silence.
"Can you not tell how happy I am when I'm with you?"
Haechans heart does a flip and his brain freezes. The question taunts his mind, not letting him feel calm.
Jaemin almost thinks he does something wrong but then he catches Haechan glance at him. With not just any look, the same one he gives him right before he kisses him.
Dammit I wish I wasn't driving

"Finally", Jeno says when they knock on his door. "You brought food, right?"
"Yes, Sweetheart", Haechan says, stepping inside and pulling Jaemin in behind him.
When Haechan realizes, he panics not knowing what to do. He doesn't wanna just let go but he doesn't want questions. He almost wants to just let Jeno think whatever he wants but he's not sure if Jaemin would be okay with that.
Without looking up, Jeno asks, "You two hold hands a lot?"
"All the time", Jaemin answers. "We hold Jisungs hand too."
"I'm not surprised. You three are very affectionate."
Haechan chuckles. "You should know that."
Jaemin glances back and forth between the two, wondering if there's a hidden meaning in Haechans words or if he's just overthinking it. He doesn't exactly mind, he just wants to know what's going on.
Fully aware of the two talking but not caring to pay attention, Jaemin zones out, partially to avoid talking for the moment.
"Okay, what would you two like? Jaemin, I assume coffee?"
"Hm?" Jaemin asks, having only heard his name.
"Do you want coffee?"
"Actually, can you make me something sweet?"
"Literally make it taste like sugar."
Jaemin gently smacks Haechans arm, pretending to glare. The brunet sticks his tongue out at him and then smiles when Jeno's not looking.
"Haechan, do you want a cup of sugar as well?"
"No Sweetheart?"
As soon as Haechan says it, he hates himself. He looks at Jaemin who, to his surprise, is looking at him in amusement. He feels heat rush to his face when he glances at Jeno and makes a kissy face. It gets worse when he starts making gestures, trying to silently (and very obviously) ask questions about his feelings.
"Are you two usually this quiet?"
"Jaemin is. Sometimes. For me, it depends."
"Wanna eat while I make these?" Jeno asks, shoving a piece of his burger in between his teeth.
"Uh, sure", Haechan says, trying to bring himself to look away from him.
When he sits down, Jaemin starts giggling in his ear.
"What is up with you? Sweetheart."
Haechan looks down at his lap, trying not to be affected by this stupid nickname.
"I'm fine."
Jaemin snorts, unwrapping his own burger. "Does fine mean being skittish around a hot guy?"
"Shh!"
"Are you two okay?" Jeno asks, not looking up so he doesn't further add to whatever the hell is going on.
"We're fine, Princess."
Jeno chuckles at the nickname."Okay, Princess."

Somehow, Mark and Em find themselves alone in the backyard while Chenle cooks and Darci "supervises". (He's really just bickering with Ten).
Neither make a move to talk, both occupying themselves by looking around or going on their phones.
From the kitchen window, Darci glances out at them and catches his boyfriend eye, causing him to smile and look down.
He gets redder when he makes eye contact with Mark who's giving him a look.
Mark looks over at the male across from him. "The way he looks at you, man, he's in love with you."
Em smiles politely but doesn't say anything for a more minutes before asking,"Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure, what's up?"
"I'm just curious. Did he...did he look at you the way he looks at me?"
Mark tries to find the words that will ease the anxiousness on Ems face. "Me and Darci, we didn't...we didn't love each other. We liked each other a lot but that's as far as it went. The way he looks at you holds so much more than the way he looked at me."
"How do you know? That he didn't love you?"
"He told me."
"What?" Em exclaims, staring at Mark in mild horror.
Mark chuckles, hoping his attitude about it will ease him."The nice thing about Darci is that he's honest and so when I asked, he told me the truth. He said he liked me a lot and he loves me platonically but he's pretty sure it's not romantic love that he feels for me. Darci wouldn't bother lying to you. Plus, he's terrible at it."
Em laughs. "Good point. Sorry, I didn't mean to make you tell me about that."
"You're good, I get it. But I promise that I'm not a threat. We're friends and literally nothing else."
"Right, I believe you."
"How's it going over here?" Darci asks, slinging an arm around both of their shoulders.
"Just telling Em how you always talk about him. "
"Well that's true."
"You are so gross when you're in love", Mark jokes.
"You'll be just like me when you get with your future boyfriends."
"Boyfriends?"

Jaemin wasn't sure at first, but now he's positive that Jeno is trying to flirt with Haechan. He says trying because everything he says is borderline flirtatious but he always seem to stop himself and quickly move on from his statement.
He's also sure that Haechan is doing it too, but less and he's extremely embarrassed at what he is doing.
When Jeno excuses himself to use the bathroom, Jaemin pulls Haechan into the kitchen with a grin.
"I see what's going on."
"Which is?"
"You two are trying to so hard to flirt with each other but you're both holding back. Cookie, just do it. I promise you're gonna make him blush."
"But what if it's bad?"
"Then I'll flirt even worse."
"You seem really excited about this."
Jaemin pulls him into his arms and kisses his forehead, watching Haechans eyes flutter closed at the sensation and open again when he pulls away.
"I'm excited because I'm pretty sure you have a chance and I want you to be happy."
"What about you?"
"Oh, I don't care. I have Mark to focus on right now and then I'll get to the princess."
"And you sure you're fine?"
Jaemin pecks his nose. "Of course. Now go flirt!"
"Are you two in the kitchen?"
"We're coming", Jaemin responds, practically pushing Haechan in front of Jeno.
"Hi", Haechan says awkwardly.
"Hi."
"Haechans so cute when he's awkward."
Haechan almost chokes on air. He turns to Jaemin to show him his mortified expression and so he can avoid looking at Jeno.
"Haechan seems cute all the time to me."
I'm really gonna die today
"Can we...can we just move on?"
"We should kiss Haechan to make him feel better."
Oh my fucking God
It doesn't help that Jeno shrugs like they're not being fucking weirdos and just presses a kiss to his cheek. Followed by Jaemin.
Haechan feels like he's going to explode and he knows it's only going to get worse because Jaemin is more insane than he thought.
"Jaemin, are you sure Haechan is okay?"
"He's great", Jaemin grins, like he's not aware of every reason which Haechan isn't.
"Okay", Jeno drags it, not really believing him but trying to stay out of it. "What do you guys wanna do?"
I'm literally so excited for the next chapter. I think it will be quite obvious why ;)
