"You know what? Fuck you", Jeno says to his device, making Jisung laugh. He glances at him, remembering he's there. "I kinda forgot I had an audience."
"Just pretend I'm not here then."
"No can do. What do I get Haechan?"
"What do I get Mark?"
It's silent for a minute, both of them getting lost in ideas for the two males. Then Jeno speaks up. "Me first."

"Do you think Jeno will like what I got?"
"He'll love it. I promise."
"I kinda wanna buy everyone something", Jaemin says, eyeing stuff in the store.
"You can. You'd be just the only one though. No, actually, I can imagine Jisung buying for more than one person too."
Jaemin sighs, being sure not to look at Chenle so he doesn't have to look at him when he says, "I made things awkward with Haechan."
"He did it too. It's okay. And if you wanna get him something, it can be a peace offering." Chenle tilts his face up to make eye contact. "Which does not erase your feelings."
"Why is everything so complicated?" Jaemin whines.
"You two have always been like this to me."
"That doesn't make it better."
"Come on, pick something. Or think of it. I wanna eat."
Jaemin nods and starts focusing on a gift for Haechan.

"Is Chenle the only one who still isn't done?" Jeno asks with a laugh.
"I really hope your person got you a bad gift."
Jeno smirks. "I don't think anyone else is as cruel as you."
Chenle rolls his eyes, deciding to focus on his food so he doesn't have to deal with Jeno. Everyone looks at him for a few seconds before focusing on their own food as well.
Which lasts for about two minutes before Haechan reaches over and steals two of Jisungs fries.
"You never do eat your own food, do you?"
"I do", Haechan responds before smiling. "I just want yours too."
Trying to be nice doesn't go exactly as Jaemin planned when he throws some of his own fries on Haechans plate, one accidentally hitting him in the face. His eyes widen and he rushes out of his chair and around to the male to hug him.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry! That was an accident, I promise! I'm sorry!"
Realizing that Jaemin is probably gonna start spiraling, Haechan stands up and hugs him properly, effectively quieting him.
"It's okay", he mumbles. "I know it was an accident."
Guilt fills up Jaemin, just making him want to apologize right then and there. He knows he's still upset but being upset with Haechan hurts him more than he thought.
Unconsciously, he hugs him tighter, somehow needing the reassurance that his friend still cares.
What is going on? Haechan questions, not understanding what's going on with the male.
First, he seems upset and avoids him but now he's hugging him like he doesn't wanna let go.
Is he just being nice?
As soon as he thinks it, the thought is going on, Haechan knowing that it's something more than Jaemin just trying to be polite.
The feeling of Jaemin pulling away snaps him out of his thoughts. Until he understands that Jaemin is staring at him.
Before Jaemin can doubt himself, he quickly presses a kiss to Haechans forehead and then instantly returns to his seat and picks up his soda, drinking it like he's about to die of thirst so no one questions him.
Haechan stands still, trying to process the quick action that does nothing but confuse him more.
He brings himself out of it and vegans munching on the fries Jaemin gave him, not wanting anyone to talk to him about this.
He's aware that their friends are staring at them and obviously have questions but there's no way he's putting himself in a position to answer.
Jeno stares at Haechan and Jaemin a little bit longer than Jisung, Chenle, and Mark just to see if he can find an understanding of what's up with the two.
When he doesn't, he clears his throat getting everyone's attention. "Do you think we'll all be done later?"
Chenle glares when all eyes go to him. "Hey!"

Like it's so easy to make everything go wrong 😭 I didn't know I was this kind of author 😭 (no offense to anyone else, I just always assumed I would make things happier/fluffier in my writing)

I had the perfect one for Jisung but I forgot now. I just know it was more calm (I think) so library page, editor, copywriter, blogger, receptionist, etc
For Lele, I'm thinking a waiter, bartender, bouncer, or something that has to do with people...
Haechan doesn't really like people (neither do I tbh youdon'tcountthoughIloveyou) so I'm thinking shelf stocker, laundrymat worker(idk what they're called), or a food place that's not very busy...so like a donut shop or Baskin Robbins, mail handler, etc
Mark could definitely work with food, I also imagine him taking an online music production college course (and maybe one for something else), manager for someplace, etc
For Jaemin, micro job (includes testing websites, performing searches, watching web videos, listening to recordings), takes online college courses for filmmaking and editing(I really like this idea honestly), animal shelter, etc
Jeno gives me barista. He also gives animal shelter, petsitter, also could be a manager for someplace, movir theater worker, I'm running out of ideas
