First day working.
I got up and paced around my apartment my nerves taking over me. I started getting ready.
Liam texted me 'hey it's Liam I'm outside. Harry told me to pick you up and bring you to the center.'
I went outside and got into liams car.
"Is Harry ok?" Even when I'm upset with him I still fucking worry..
"Yeah he's just a bit busy."
I nodded knowing that he wasn't "busy" he probably didn't want to drive me because of the fight we had yesterday.
Liam cleared his voice "so are you excited to be getting out on your own again?"
I smiled "yeah really excited I feel like a normal human again."
"That's good I'm glad to hear."
We arrived at the building. Liam looked over "did you get a badge yet?"
"No do I need one?"
He said "yeah you won't be able to get into the building without one." Unbuckling his seatbelt
He lead me through the doors the lady from yesterday sat at the front desk "Liam darling!" getting up to hug him. She turned to me "Alexis sweetheart are you ready for your first day?"
"Yep! But I am a bit nervous not going to lie." With a smile
"Don't be sweetheart everyone here is lovely. Go ahead and head down."
I walked down to the kitchen there were a few other people working getting lunch ready.
Marie said "Alexis don't be shy wash up and put on an apron and start cutting some veggies!" with welcoming smile
I washed my hands and grabbed an apron and started cutting.
The guy next to me smiled "I'm gabe."
"I'm Alexis or lexy which ever honestly."
He smiled "first day?"
"Yep. How long have you been here?"
He said "well technically 3 years but the two years I lived here."
It took me a second "oh" I nodded with a smile.
Gabe helped direct me where to go and what to do in the kitchen. He was super sweet and easy going.
After lunch was served we cleaned up the kitchen then started preparing for dinner. It was pretty fast paced. everyone knew what they were doing. I was kinda lost but was catching on slowly.
When I'm home cooking I'm in my own little world but here it's a bunch of people doing certain tasks. which makes sense because we are feeding a bunch of people.
After dinner Marie came over and handed me a piece of paper with my schedule and a badge to get into the building.
I went outside and Louis pulled up "hey Harry's a bit busy." I nodded. Getting in
I was in such a good mood but once I remembered Harry my mood immediately dropped.

The next few days it was the same thing. eventually who ever was picking me up didn't even mention Harry was busy. I haven't heard from Harry since Our fight. Which only leads me to believe I was right.
Louis dropped me off at home.
Another night hanging out alone.
While walking up the stairs to my apartment Ed was also walking up.
"Hey Ed"
"Lexy what's up?"
"Nothing much you?"
"Just got back into town look what I snagged pulling out a lego set."
"Sick I use to love building legos with My best friend Caleb.." I slowly stop talking..
"You should come over and build with me."
That would be a nice distraction so I wouldn't sit around thinking about Harry like I have been these last couple of days..
"Sure let me go get changed."
I went home and changed into legging and a t shirt I walked down the hall and knocked.
Ed opened the door I walked in he said "I figure we could build it on the coffee table so we can watch something in the background."
"Sounds good"
We sat down and started sorting pieces. Which were eventually going to make Death Star.
Ed said "so what's your favorite Star Wars movie?"
"I've never made it through one without falling asleep."
He started laughing "they aren't boring."
I said "it's not my cup of tea."
"So what do you like?"
"I'm more of a tv show kinda person like the office, friends, Greys anatomy."
"Fair enough."
We continued sorting
"so how are you and Harry?"
"Um we aren't really talking."
"Why what happened?"
"I don't know."
"You don't know or you don't want to talk about it?"
"Don't wanna talk about it."
He nodded "no worries I'm sure you guys will work it out."
"I don't know. He's not a relationship type of guy I shouldn't have expected him to change."
Ed sighed "that's true but going off of the Harry I met and the one I've seen since you've been around is completely different."
Even though I hope we do. I don't think Harry wants to work it out. he's put zero effort in these last couple of days.
After a couple of hours I decided to call it quits.
I headed to my apartment getting ready for bed I checked my phone no miss call no texts yet again.
Day off
I woke up decided to walk into town. I wanted to get some paint stuff and possibly stop by the thrift store to see their clothes.
Honestly I just wanted to get out of the house so I didn't think about ... Harry.
I opened the door to the thrift shop. The girl from last time popped out.
"You again! hi! how did the decor stuff work out?"
"Really well. I'm obsessed. You mentioned you guys sell clothes here?"
"Yes come I'll show you!"
I followed she turned around "I'm Sarah by the way."
I smiled "I'm lexy."
We stopped where there were a bunch of clothing racks.
"I can help you look for some cute things if you like."
"Yeah definitely that would be great."
Sarah was very out going. definitely the opposite of me. She seemed very sweet.
I looked at her top I pointed "I love your top! I swear you have the cutest clothes."
She smiled big "thank you! hey if you ever want to borrow some I don't mind."
I said "I might take you up on that."
She laughed "do you have a phone? I can give you my number."
"Yeah." handing her my phone she put her number in putting the phone to her ear she hung up after a few seconds she said "I called myself so I have yours too."
She held out a pair of red jeans with butterflies
"YES I'm in love" I yelped holding them tightly
We found a few other things.
I finished checking out.
"Don't hesitate to text or call me whenever! We should hang out sometime."
"definitely. Same for you."
I headed out.
It was nice being around another girl especially someone that was super outgoing it made it super easy to keep the conversation flowing. I've never really had a close friend that was a girl. I mostly kept to myself at school the only person I would hang out with was Caleb.
When I walked out. i looked forward seeing Harry across the street. He noticed me as well he just starred. My heart felt like it hit the pavement. I turned and started walking towards the apartment not really having anything to say to him.
I saw Ed
"Went shopping yeah?"
"Yep wanna see what I bought?" Shaking my bag
"I was about to go grab a slice of pizza but how about I get a pie and bring it back and you can show me"
"Deal"
I went into my apartment
Placing the bags on the coffee table.
I cleaned up a bit while waiting. There was a knock at the door. I opened ed smiled "pizza time!"
We sat and ate pizza then I showed him. The clothes I bought he probably didn't care but he was a good sport about it.
"Your style is pretty sick not gonna lie. did you get the butterfly pants because of Harry?"
My face dropped realizing that's why I love them so much without even realizing it.
"No I just liked them."
"Have you talked to Harry yet?."
"No..I did seem in town today but we didn't speak to each other. it was pretty awkward."
"Damn I have a meeting with him this week about my next job. he's going to be a grumpy bitch."
"Sorry"
He laughed "not your fault."
