At night Manik and Nandini were watching a movie in their room all cuddled up on Nandini's insistence. Only 2 mins were remaining for their special day.
Suddenly there was knock on their room to which Manik went and opened the door to see all the family members gathered and smiling at him.
Manik: What happened?
Mahesh: First let us come inside.
He frowned but let them come inside.
They all came inside and shouted Happy first wedding anniversary.
Listening them Manik and Nandini looked at each other and smiled.
Manan: Thank you so much.
They went to Nyonica and Mahesh and took their blessings.
Mahesh: God bless you both. Stay happy always and keep each other happy too.
Nyonica: Stay blessed and stay together always happy and smiling.
Veer and Aashna to hugged them and wished them.
Veer: Wait there are more people who wanted to wish you.
Nandini: Who?
He went out and bought his laptop to see all the Murthy's, Mahira and FAB5 online.
Nandini: All of you, What a surprise?
Everyone smiled and wished them together.
Manan: Thankyou so much guys.
Aashna: So guys cut the cake fast we don't want to intrude your personal celebration.
Nandini: Aashu there's nothing like that.
Veer: We know bhabhi about your planning.
Nandini: And you idiot have to open your mouth right. Can't you shut your mouth Veer.
Veer: Opps Sorry bhabhi now cut the cake.
Manik: What are you talking about? Nandini?
Nandini: Nothing, come let's cut the cake.
They went to the cake and both of them cut the cake while others clapped and sang the song.
Nandini:*feeding the cake* Happy first wedding anniversary Mani.

Wishing her he kissed her forehead.
They then together went to the elders and fed them the cake and and to the Veer and Aashna.
Nyonica: Chalo now it's late let's go to sleep.
Veer: Yes we already disturbed their celebration.
Nandini: Veer....
Veer: Sorry bhabhi.
Everyone wished them last time before which Manik invited everyone for lunch.
Everyone went while Manik pulled Nandini by her waist making her lock her hands around his neck.
Manik: Now tell me what have you planned.
Nandini: You have no patience in you right.
Manik: Shona yaar please tell me.
Nandini: Ok so first close your eyes.
Manik: Arre but why?
Nandini: If you want the surprise then close your eyes.
Manik: Ok.
He closed the eyes and Nandini pulled him to the balcony.
After coming to balcony Nandini wrapped her hands around his waist and pecked his lips.
Nandini: Happy anniversary Hubby. Now open your eyes.
Manik opened his eyes and looked around seeing which he smiled to the fullest.
Manik: Wow Shona this is so beautiful. How did I not notice?
Nandini: Because there were curtain draped and I did not let you notice it.
Manik: This is really beautiful Shona and yes Happy anniversary wifey. You don't know how happy you make me baby.
Nandini: And you have no idea how lucky I feel that you are my man. I thank God everyday that I got you.
Manik got a bit emotional and kissed her to which she replied.
After breaking the kiss they went and sat on the cosy sofa which was in the corner.
Manik: Wow Nandu you are drinking?
Nandini: Ohh hello don't keep your expectations so high, it's fruit champaign.
Manik: My bad.
He pulled her to him and made her sit in between his legs.
Nandini: So where's my gift?
Manik: Umm Shona actually I forgot.
Nandini listening this got sad.
Nandini: Ohh it's okay.
Seeing her sad face Manik stiffled his laugh but said.
Manik: So sorry Shona you know last few days I was very busy with work it completely went out of my mind.
Nandini: It's okay Mani, I understand.
But you have to compensate.
Manik: How?
Nandini: You have to bring me ice cream now, completely for me no sharing.
Manik: Okay just give me 2 mins.
Manik got up and went down to bring her favourite icecream which was already in the fridge.
He quickly went up and took out her gift.
He smiled and went to her and kneeled on his one leg.
Manik: Here my love your favourite icecream.
Nandini smiled and took the ice cream.
He took a small box from behind and gave it to her taking the previous postion.
Nandini: What Manik you lied to me?
Manik: No I just did a small Masti.
Nandini: So bad you are na?
Manik:*laughing* Sorry. Acha now open the box.
She opened the box and gasped.
Nandini: Mani I loved it. It's so beautiful, just my taste.
Manik: I know you love simple things but you also love earrings so this for you.
Nandini: Thankyou. I have also have something for you.
She took out a envelope and gave it to him.
Manik: What is this?
Nandini: Open it.
He opened it and looked at Nandini.
Nandini: I know you were going to do this but owing to your busy schedule you were waiting for the correct time. So I booked the tickets so that we can spend some time with each other.
Manik: Thankyou Thankyou Shona I so wanted to take you out but I was busy last few days.
Nandini: I know so I asked Aashna about your schedule and I booked according to it.
Manik: I can't wait for the trip.
Nandini: I know Mani I can't wait too.
It's one year we have been married but we only spent 5-6months together.
And the other months were away from each other.
Manik: Yes and they say right distance brings you more closer same is happening with us. We have become more closer. You have been the best thing that has happened to me Shona and I can't express how happy I am with you, how happy you make me.
Nandini: Mani I promise to be with you always and I promise to be your support and understand you when no one would,like you have done from the minute you have entered my life.
Manik smiled, picked her up in bridal style and took her in the room and rest you know how both the souls celebrated the night.

Next morning Nandini got up early and looked at her hansome husband beside her. She ruffled his hair and kissed his forehead to which he smiled and took her beneath him.
Manik: Good morning Sunshine.
Nandini: Good morning handsome. Happy 1 year to us.
Manik: Happy 1 year Shona. What a good start of the day.
Nandini: Why do you say that?
Manik: Because I get you see your beautiful face early morning and that too in this avatar.
Nandini:*hiding her face in his chest* Besharam hai aap sachi.
Manik: It's been year and you still blush like a new bride Shona.
Nandini: Shut up and let me fresh up you remember you have invited everyone for lunch.
Manik: Yes I remember and everything will be arranged you have to do nothing.
Nandini: Ok now get up see it's so late.
Manik got up and sat on the bed.
Manik: Shona I have something for you.
Nandini: What?
Manik:Open the cupboard and see.
Nandini opened the cupboard and saw a box. She opened it to see a red colour saree.
Nandini: It's so pretty.
Manik: Can you wear it today?
Nandini: Offcourse. I will get ready and come.
After some time Manik came getting ready and he saw Nandini in front of mirror.
Manik: You look beautiful Shona and that too in my favourite colour.
Nandini: You look no less Mr.handsome in my favourite white shirt.
Manik: I know I am irresistible.
Nandini shook her head in disbelief and forwarded her hand with the vermillion box.
He smiled and filled her partition with vermillion and kissed her there.
Nandini: Chalo everyone must be waiting for breakfast.
They went down and had a light breakfast as the lunch was going to be lavish.
Manik: Ladies today lunch from our side no need to enter the kitchen. We will have everything ready in the garden for lunch.
Mahesh: But it's your day and you are only arranging everything.
Manik: What dad I just had to make a call nothing much.
So after a while everyone started coming for lunch and everyone wished the couple and also Mahira had also come to surprise everyone.
When everyone were present they cut the cake which was ordered by their friends and followed by a lavish lunch were everyone enjoyed a lot with lots of games and family antakshari.
Later in the evening everyone started to leave Manik to got up making Nandini frown.
Manik: Mom me and Nandini are going out and later we will go to apartment so don't wait for us. We will come tomorrow.
Aashna: Ohho Bhai you have surprise planned Haan?
Manik: Aashna we are just going out I have nothing planned.
Veer: Let it be Bhai if you don't want to say then it's okay.
Manik: Why should I tell you it's just an outing Nandini go and change into something comfortable.
Nandini nodded and went to change after sometime they said bye to everyone left from there.

Manik: Somewhere you love it.

They enjoyed the ride and at last Manik stopped the car at the beach making Nandini sequel like a kid.
She got down from the car and looked around to see a beautiful and simple decoration at a far end. She smiled at Manik who nodded his head making Nandini run to the place.
Nandini: Wow.
Manik: You liked it?
Nandini: Are you mad who on the earth will not love this, this is just so so beautiful.
Manik went to her and back hugged her keeping his chin to her shoulder.
Manik: I am happy that you loved it.
Nandini: When did you do this?
Manik: I was planning for long time.
Come let's go and sit there.
They both sat there and enjoyed the silence.
Nandini: This is so peaceful. You, me and this hazaaron stars.
Manik:And the most beautiful and shining star is sitting with me.
Nandini looked at him with teary eyes making him kiss her eyes followed by her head and lastly he pecked her lips.
He stood up and pulled her with him.

Suddenly it started raining making Nandini smile and look up spreading her hands wide. Manik bought her down and looked at her with such intensity making her look into his eyes. He leaned forward making her close her eyes he placed his lips on her and she wrapped her hands around his neck pulling him more to her.
After about two minutes they broke the hug and looked at each other.
Manik: I love you Nandini.
Nandini: I love you too Manik.
They both hugged each other finding peace in each other's arms.
