"JANE!!!" You screamed out with your hands reaching for her when you were pushed back into the portal. You grunt from falling on the cold floor of the soul tablet room. Quickly scrambling to your feet to rush back to the portal that vanished once you made your way back to it. "Dammit!!" You curse out in the empty room. You take your dagger out from behind your dress to manifest it into a sword. You stood there for a moment. Nothing. You didn't feel an ounce weaker or feel anything be drained out of you. Just like you didn't feel anything being taken out of you back up at Atlantis. "I fucking knew it he was lying." You make your sword back to a dagger. Putting it back in the back of your dress with an idea popped into your head. You ran out of the evil lair to go back to the others. You went outside of the lair to see Roland putting a hand on his ear piece, receiving a radio message from Kaiba. You snuck up from behind to grab his gun from his belt to pull it out and point it at Roland. You place a finger over your lip to make him keep quiet with your other hand. Roland gulps and holds his hands up in defense. He couldn't defend himself since you had his gun. You went up to him to take his ear piece out of Roland's ear to hear Kaiba's transmitting message. You make sure to listen in with Roland: "Roland. Bring the chopper around. We might need you to be an optional escape route. Make sure (Y/n) doesn't know and stays with the others back on that island to wait for us." Kaiba ordered over the radio. Roland had his hand over his K.C. pin to talk back to him. You slowly nod to him to talk to Kaiba "Right away Mr. Kaiba." He radioed in and then ended his transmission. He took his hand away from the pin with his hands up. You grabbed him by his arm and made your way to the chopper. "I am sorry but I have to do this Roland." You apologized while making your way to the chopper with him as your hostage. Pointing his gun to his side to make him walk to the chopper.
Tea was sitting in the chopper that was still waiting on the lairs floor. Tea leaned back with a sigh against the chopper. She looked at Tristan and Mokuba who were sitting across from her. The door of the chopper was left open for air. Tea saw something in the far distance which made her sit up with a puzzled look on her face. Tristan noticed and he turned his head out the chopper door to see what she was staring at. Tristan arched his brow "(Y/n)?" His question made Mokuba get up from his seat to rush over to the door when you came in with a gun at Roland's side. "(Y)-(Y/n)?" Mokuba stammered seeing you threatening his loyal bodyguard. "I am sorry Mokuba but I need to get back up there. I need to tell them my plan to be able to destroy Dartz." You made your way with Roland to go to the control room where the pilot of the chopper was. You sat Roland on the other seat beside the pilot with Roland's gun pointing to his head.
The pilot gulps seeing you have a gun pulled out. You gesture to Roland to tell the pilot Kaiba's orders, Roland obliges and tells him. Mokuba came up behind you "Mokuba stay back!" Roland shouts to Mokuba to keep him from harm. Mokuba flinched from Roland yelling at him. Tea and Tristan were behind Mokuba and Tea went to put Mokuba behind him but he moved her hand away from trying to. Mokuba saw the gun you pointed to Roland although he was scared for Roland, he noticed the way you held it, your hands were shaking. Mokuba held out a hand to Roland as he approached you slowly. He reached for the gun and made you lower it. Mokuba took it out of your hands to give it back to Roland. You exhale a shaky breath and stumbled back to the control room wall. "What is going on (Y/n)?" Tea asked as Mokuba went to hold your hands that you held back tightly. You took a deep breath before you spoke up "The others sent me back through the portal, it closed when they sent me back, and it was because Dartz told us that he was using my willpower to fight as energy to power up the Great Leviathan. Saying the orichalcos stone earrings he used to control me when I was his prisoner, that I broke free from, had an effect with me ending up giving him power because I broke free. He was lying." You took a hand away from Mokuba's and summoned your dagger into a sword in your hand to show them. They saw nothing wrong with you or you looking any weaker. You looked completely fine.
"I was feeling a bit woozy up there but that's because I was down below in Atlantis for a long period of time before coming back to the surface. Going up in the air no less. I was getting a little sick from that, not from Dartz. Dartz lied to them to make them have me out of the way and if I am out of the way then he has something terribly planned and I have a bad feeling he might . . ." You couldn't bring yourself to say the horrible feeling you had if you didn't get back up there as soon as possible. You make your dagger back into a dagger then put it in the back of your dress. "Then what the hell are we standing here like sitting ducks for?! You heard the woman! Get us in the air!" Tristan yelled at the pilot that jumped from Tristan yelling at him. "R-Right." He flipped up a few switches and the blades of the chopper's wings started to swirl around. You went to the others to sit back on the chopper and buckled up because of the heavy storm going on in the sky. The storm was even worse over Atlantis. The fly there was bumpy and made everyone's stomachs turn many ways from the pilot trying to avoid a few tornados.

Once the pilot gets close enough to Atlantis walls, you unbuckle your belt to make your way to the chopper doors. You take your dagger out and create a shield around your body. Taking a look at Tristan, Tea, and Mokuba. Tea tugged a little on a piece of your dress. "Be careful." Tea smiles at you. "I will" You told her and turned to Roland "I know what Kaiba said but get far away as soon as I get off. It isn't safe to stay near here. Until things clear up then come back here. Got?" You ordered him and though he looked to Mokuba for approval he nodded anyway. Tea let go of your dress for you to leap out of the helicopter to be on top of the palace walls. It was thick enough for you to land on without falling off.
You scan the area you were dropped off in to search for the gazebo where you last saw everyone. The Great Leviathan was not too far from where you were standing. There were multi-color orbs of light hitting the dragon that was coming from the weird rainbow northern lights that you saw above the thing. You were getting ready to create something when something landed hard near you that caused you to lose your balance and fall on your ass. You turn to your left to see that it was a giant glowing green scale-like thing. Another one flew past you which made you look back over to the Great Leviathan. Those scales belonged to the creature and it was shooting tons of them out in every direction. "Eep! Fuck! Shit! Fuck!" You were saying while trying to dodge a few of them when you were trying to scramble back to your feet. You could hear crumbling not far behind you. You peeked over your shoulder to see that the wall itself was starting to fall due to the multiple scales being shot into it. Causing the wall to start to collapse in on itself. You had to stop running to take the opportunity you were going to have at this high level.
You took major steps back with your heart racing from the sound of the wall breaking down was getting closer to where you were. You manifest your dagger into a long pole. Glowing from the danger that was being in this area. Trying to scan for where the gazebo was "There!" You told yourself once you found it. You swallowed your fear of falling to our death and dash forward with the pole you lifted up to help you leap at a higher distance. Sending you flying across the place with your pole manifesting back into a dagger. You held your dagger tightly in your hand as you shield your body to brace for impact the closer you were getting to the Great Leviathan. Wiping your bloody nose with your left hand. Your nose bleed was starting to happen because of the constant switching between your shield and weapon that you were doing a lot at the moment. Not giving your mind or your body time to adjust to these drastic uses of both things and switching so quickly. You were now starting to descend to where the four bridges that connected to the gazebo were. Doing a superhero landing when you landed in front of one of the bridges. You called off your shield over your body when you stood back onto your feet. Running down the bridge that was not directly towards the inside of the Gazebo but to the side of it.
Seeing two people in the far distance. You couldn't tell who it was because of how far you were until the bright light of the blast the Great Leviathan was looming closer to them. Your eyes widened to see it was Yami who was scruffed up from taking a few hits and Jane standing in front of him even though she was terribly injured. Yami summoned his Black Luster Soldier, Buster Blader, and his Valkyrion the Magna Warrior to help aid Jane. Yami wanted to use Big Shield Gardna's barrier ability on Jane's sword but it was broken in half. He was hesitating on the debate if it would work on it to protect the two of them. "YOU BOTH ARE TOO WEAK TO STAND UP AGAINST THE GREAT LEVIATHAN!!! IT'S OVER FOR YOUR MONSTERS PHARAOH AND THE 4th LEGENDARY KNIGHT!!! THE WORLD IS MINE!!!!!" The blast was closing in on the two. Yami is still clutching Big Shield Gardna's card in his hand when he shuts his eyes from the brightness of the Great Leviathan's blast. Both of them were bracing for impact.
Yami heard a loud clash yet he felt no pain amongst his body. He slowly opened his eyes to see the brilliant golden see-through shield he knew too well who it belonged that blocked the red blast of The Great Leviathan.
"WHAT?!" Dartz screamed once the smoke from the collision passed of both Yami and Jane were fine but the monsters were destroyed unfortunately from the impact of the blast "NOOOO!! THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING!!! DAMN YOU!!! DAMN YOU LADY (Y/N)!!!!" Dartz saw you behind the shield that was covering the entire floating city of Atlantis. Jane turned her head slowly to you who stood beside her with your golden sword you had manifested from your dagger crossed with her broken sword. A weak smile forms on her face with tears of joy seeing you here "My lady you're here!" She croaked. You lowered the giant shield you managed to make. Yami rushed to your side to catch you when you started to sway "I didn't know you could expand your shield to that extent." You chuckled at Yami because you didn't know you had it in you either to manage to make that possible. You just desperately wanted to protect the two of them from that insane power ball Dartz was going to shoot at them. Jane turned around to face both you and Yami. "You need to summon the Staff of Light. It's the only way we can defeat him." Jane told the two of you while Dartz was screaming in the background at the three of you. You and Yami firmly nodded to her then you two faced each other and closed your eyes.
You held your millennium dagger and he held his millennium puzzle. Both of you were focusing on the energy from within your items. A golden glowing eye was forming on Yami's forehead with his millennium puzzle also glowing brightly. Your dagger was glowing equally as bright as his millennium puzzle. Although you were struggling, you were pouring all your focus into the dagger and picturing the staff. Both of you opened your eyes. Nothing. The staff wasn't appearing. "I-I don't understand! We're doing everything right! Are you summoning it with all your heart and soul Yami?!" You were starting to get frantic because the staff was not showing up. You knew the staff needed both of you in order to summon it yet the damn thing wasn't appearing. "We have to remain calm (Y/n). I am doing both those things and I know you are too. This doesn't make sense." Yami was trying to figure out why the staff was being stubborn to be summoned. Yami didn't doubt the memory you saw of how the staff was summoned just as confused as you were about it. The two of you flinch to hear the sound of the Great Leviathan starting to power itself back up again. The powerful red blast was slowly forming inside its massive mouth to prepare another terrifying blast at the 3 of you. You were growing anxious now with there being not much time left for you all.
"The problem is you, my lady." You heard Jane say and turned back to Jane who was smiling sweetly at you with a sad gaze. "You need to summon it with all your heart and soul, you only have half of your soul. The other half is with me." Jane placed a hand over her heart. You look at her then at her heart. You were breaking out in tears once you realized where she was getting at "No . . . Jane . . . I . . . I can't . . ." You whimper. Yami realized what Jane meant soon as you were starting to cry. Jane held her sword up "I know you can't . . . But I can . . ." Her broken sword started to glow white. It shined brightly and lit up the entire area. Blinding the two of you. You and Yami had a hand over your eyes to look at Jane. Yami knew exactly what Jane was going to do "WAIT!! JANE!! THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY!?!" He shouted out with tears brimming his eyes. He saw Jane shake her head 'no'. "I ACTIVATED MY 3RD SPECIAL ABILITY!! KNIGHTS REVIVAL!! BRINGING BACK ALL 3 LEGENDARY KNIGHTS THAT WERE DESTROYED BACK TO US!!!" Jane called out with all her might. Knight Critias, Knight Hermos, and Knight Timaeus all reappeared beside Jane. Her sword remained glowing. She brought her sword of fate to be close to her chest. The knights all were flabbergasted to see themselves back on the battlefield. They all laid their eyes on Jane, she turned to them, and they all went white when they figured out what she was doing "Maiden Jane! Your 3rd special ability lets you revive us but in exchange that you are destroyed!!" Knight Critias explained the 3rd and final special ability Jane had. The ability Yami was afraid to use when he duel against Dartz with her on the field. "I know." Jane said as she smiled at her knights that expressed deep sadness upon their faces. Her scarlet red hair was blowing drastically with the wind. "Bring your chosen duelist back before I give you all my final order." They wanted to protest. However, they didn't have the heart to defy Jane. Instead they stayed silent and listened. Knight Critias and Knight Hermos raised their shaking hands, from both frustration and sadness, up towards the Great Leviathan. Their hands glowed a deep blue and 2 orbs of white light came out of the beast to be flown over to the free side of Yami.
Joey fell face first onto the concrete and Kaiba managed to land on his feet. Joey groaned when he pushed himself up to see Jane and the Legendary Knights back. Making Joey jump to his feet with a smile "YOU'RE ALIVE!! I KNEW DARTZ DIDN'T GET'CHA!!" He cheered in joy with a big smile on his face seeing Jane. His smile started to slowly become less of a smile when he saw how banged up Jane was. Turning his head to look at everyone's sorrowful faces. "Wha . . . What's going on? Wh-Why's everyone being all sad for?" You turn your head to Joey and he froze seeing you crying. You turned away and shut your eyes. You feel your chest feel hot. It was burning with pain from having to let Jane go but also feeling Jane's soul within you start to wither away slowly. You put your dagger in the back of your dress again. Yami pulled you close to his chest with an arm around your waist. Letting you bury your face in his chest to weep. You could feel some of Yami's teardrops fall on your bare shoulders. Yami was feeling the overwhelming sadness just as you were for Jane. Joey shifts his attention over to the Great Leviathan then towards the Legendary Knights "Matter of fact, how did we even get back here? We were in that nasty Leviathan thing a second ago. Also how are the Legendary Knights here too?" Joey was asking so many questions. Having his attention finally on Jane. Knight Hermos looked at Joey, his chosen duelist, with a sadness behind his eyes "Maiden Jane summoned us knights with her 3rd special ability . . . We were able to get Kaiba and you, Joey, back here with you being our chosen duelist of the prophecy . . . However . . . Maiden Jaiden 3rd ability comes at a price . . . When all of us 3 knights are summoned back through her 3rd ability . . . In exchange for our revival . . . She must be destroyed . . ." Knight Hermos explained to Kaiba and Joey what was going on. Kaiba wanted to say he didn't believe them though his heart was preventing him not to. His own heart was feeling an odd sensation of sadness and grief. Kaiba didn't own these feelings as if they belonged to someone else. Someone that wasn't him but also was him. Joey was starting to ball up in tears.
"B-But she can return to the Domain of Monsters with you guys! Jane will be fine right!?" Knight Critias shakes his head to Joey's grasp on that last hope he had for Jane. Joey was left speechless. Jane turned to the Legendary Knights "I will no longer be your captain of the Legendary Knights after this as you know but I have decided to choose who will take my place. The new leader of the Legendary Knights will be Knight Hermos." Knight Hermos's lips were agape in surprise of him being chosen to be the new leader of the Legendary Knights. He was in the middle of Knight Critias and Knight Timaeus. The two looked at Knight Hermos. "You have always put your own safety above everyone else and continuously act courageous in the face of danger. I am honored and confident to leave my duty and title to you." She announced to them which made them surprised she was even choosing one in the first place. Knight Hermos placed a hand over his heart and with a determined expression across his face along with a confident smile "I will not fail you, Maiden Jane." Knight Hermos swore to Jane which made her smile more. Knight Critias and Knight Timaeus put a hand on their new captain of the Legendary Knights shoulder with brave smiles. Knight Critias wasn't even arguing even though Kaiba would have. The 3 Legendary Knights face Jane once more "My final order for you all is to be happy and live your new lives to the fullest." The Legendary Knights all got on one knee and bowed their heads to Jane. Their swords in the ground and in front of them. "We swear, Maiden Jane." They said in unison. Kaiba could see they were trying their hardest to not get emotional through their tight grasp of the handle of their swords. Watching the 3 of them stand up again with their heads held up high.
Jane turns her attention onto you and Yami. Yami nudged you a bit to lift your head out of his chest. To get your attention. You both turn to Jane. You could see Jane's body was starting to become jasmine flowers that were blown away with the wind. Half of her body was already gone. You moved away from Yami to slowly make your way to Jane. She took one hand off her sword to hold it out to you "Your friends from the future snuck their cards in your deck." She chuckles through her tears she was now starting to shed. She wasn't crying before but now she was. You lightly laugh through the light sobs you were trying to make when you reached out to take it off her arm. Her arm soon withered away once you took it off her arm. You dropped the duel disk, Kaiba swiftly came in to catch it and move back to where he was standing before your duel disk fell on the floor. Joey gave a side look to Kaiba "What? It would have been terrible if it broke." Kaiba muttered to Joey which just made the dirty blonde teenager roll his eyes at the rich boy's concerns out of everything going on right now. You ran up to Jane "I forgive you Jane, I-I never actually said it before." You try to wipe your tears from your eyes to stop them from falling anymore. Pointless but you did it anyway. Jane's wounds on her face lifted, she was still withering away though.
You hugged Jane "I have fulfilled my duty . . . I only am sad that I will have to leave you on your journey without being by your side but . . ." Jane looked at Yami over your shoulder. She smiled a soft smile without any ounce of envy or jealousy towards Yami. Only kindness. ". . . The pharaoh will be by your side instead and . . . I know he will bring you endless joy as well as bottomless love for you . . . I can finally rest knowing you will be left with the man you love again . . ." Yami had a hand over his heart with a feeling of sadness he could feel it was from his past self grieving. He was still sad nonetheless. He clutched the part of his shirt where his heart was. Letting his tears fall down his face. "Goodbye pharaoh . . ." She moved out of the hug to face you "Goodbye, My lady." She did a closed eye smile before she was riddled abruptly in jasmine flowers and you felt something flourish within your chest at the same time.
Your arms fell onto your sides with everyone's eyes lingering on your back. Yami can see your body shaking from many emotions you were going through inside. The Legendary Knights look at the jasmine flowers petals that blew with the wind and up to their swords. "I leave these new swords with you to help with my lady in this fight." They inhale sharply from hearing Jane one last time in their heads before her voice left them. They hold their swords to see them shift with their swords hilts being of gold instead of the dark blue they once were. "I can feel more power coming from our swords. More power than before." Knight Timaeus thought out loud as he stared at his now not glowing sword. "Uh, guys, it's ready to attack again!" Joey pointed up to the Great Leviathan finishing its power up. Prepared to launch another blast. Yami felt something spark inside his heart. Just when his millennium puzzle was starting to shine an unbelievable light. Unlike any light he has ever seen from his millennium puzzle before. This went along with his duel monster deck. Yami pulled out the glowing cards 'The Egyptian God cards . . .' He closed his eyes 'I can feel their strength returning . . . I can sense they want me to summon them . . .' Yami sensed something else. He could hear the voices of everyone stuck inside the Great Leviathan. He assumed he was able to hear them because he was stuck only partially inside before being rescued by Jane. "Everyone listen. We can defeat this beast that has you all captive. Deep in your hearts you are all something worth fighting for. Something you all have to get out for. You can all still fight for that. Alone is not enough but together you can. Maybe not through here but you can send all your fighting spirit to (Y/n) who is willing to fight for you all. Fight for the world. Lend her your strength and in return she will give you all your freedom. She will save the world you all wish to go back to. Please . . . Lend (Y/n) your strength!!!!' He telepathically talked to the souls trapped within the Great Leviathan. Yami placed all 3 Egyptian God cards on his duel disk before he opened his eyes.
"IT'S THE END FOR YOU ALL!!!" Dartz screamed out with laughter when he made the Great Leviathan spit out another large blast.

Tea was holding onto Mokuba's shoulders when they saw another ball of light shooting towards the area where they dropped you off. Tristan was standing beside her in front of the helicopter that was back on the evil lairs island. They were watching from there of the battle taking place. Only being able to see little orbs of fights. Tea grew worried when she saw those flashes of light were nowhere to be seen after a long period of time. Especially after they saw you shielded the place and it went away. They only knew you were still there and alive after letting your shield down because the Great Leviathan hasn't left to go end the world. 'Come on guys . . . You can do this . . .' Tea was staying hopeful for you all. Having full faith in your capabilities to stop Dartz.
Mokuba held your duel gazer in his hands while looking up to the floating ancient civilization. Holding it close to his chest. Roland was in the back trying to contact Kaiba because he was radio silent. Trying over and over again to get him to respond. Another chopper came to get Mai and Rafael's as well as Alisters body to be sent straight to a local hospital.
A brilliant golden light pierced through the dark clouds. The light produced was so bright that it could be seen for miles upon miles around. Its luminosity immediately gave them comfort from its beautiful glow. The 3 of them could see it clearly from where they stood. Having to have a hand over their eyes to look back over at Atlantis. They knew exactly what that light was "THE STAFF OF LIGHT AND THE 3 EGYPTIAN GODS!!!!" Big smiles grew on their faces. Their eyes twinkled with the light gleaming their irises. Knowing the battle was turning around. Hope was finally pushing through for everyone.
