Dartz was in his temple and he grabbed one of the candelabras in front of the soul tablet walls and threw it at Yugi's soul tablet in a fit of rage. "NO! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?" He yelled throughout the temple. Stomping in his quick paces back and forth from his snake head offerings table. Where the 3 Egyptian God cards were placed upon those vipers tongues as a powerful offering to fuel the Great Leviathan. He chewed a bit of his thumb as he paced. "SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD! HOW THE HELL ARE LADY (Y/N) AND THAT DAMN 4th GUARDIAN HERE?!" He growled in frustration. He was able to sense your presence and Jane's with the power of the Seal of Orichaclos soldiers you kept taking down with Jane when you were on your way to the pharaoh. Seeing through his soldiers under his control of both your whereabouts. He knew you were watching the duel against the pharaoh and Rafael through Rafael's orichalcos stone necklace around his neck. The mad man had to admit you looked much more enchanting at your age now than being a mere teenager last he came face to face with you. More mature but gave off the glow and beauty that appeared more radiant than it was 5,000 years ago.
"If she was here to stop me then she would have used that damn Staff of Light against my soldiers before with the power of those dragons both Kaiba and the pharaoh possessed. No. Even before that . . . Could it be she . . ." Dartz stopped in his tracks and he stopped biting his thumb. A wicked grins plasters across his face "Lady (Y/n) doesn't know how to summon the staff? Just like that pathetic pharaoh she has no recollection of her memories." He started to cackle in delight from this realization of you. Dartz still had the upper hand while you were still beneath him. His plans were still going to pull through even with you, somehow, here. "I WIN THIS TIME LADY (Y/N)!!! I WILL CLEANSE THIS WRETCHED WORLD TO REBUILD MY PARADISE AND I AM GOING TO BRING YOU TO WITNESS IT!!!" Dartz shouts in victory for his dream was finally going to happen. All these years he worked effortlessly to find people to do his dirty work, taking thousands upon thousands of souls, the financial effort, and now you. The final piece he needed to make this glorious moment of the world being restarted with him and you by his side.
Dartz turns from the temple and starts to make his way out "First things first, I must prepare things for her arrival." He cooed as he walked out of the temple to make his preparations.

The pharaoh used the Reduction Barrier spell card to save 10 life points before Rafael used Guardian Dreadscythe to finish him off. You could have sworn your heart almost stopped that moment when he almost lost his soul. Barely still in the duel. The spell card that he lost was reduced to 10% aka 10 life points. Meaning he was still in the duel. "I will fight till the last point! This duel is still on Rafael!" Yami shouts. Still trying to get through to Rafael to come to his senses. He was a great duelist from what you witnessed through his game play. He cared deeply for his monsters but was brainwashed to use them in a dark sinister way. You can see Yami was trying to get through to him, even going as far as using the spell card Underworld Circle against Rafael earlier to face his darkness that is using him to make these wrong decisions. The seal of Orichalcos did something when he had used the Underworld Circle that had an immense dark fog that made you not able to see him for a while. They did
You knew this was going to happen from Jane but you couldn't help but still be worried for him throughout all of this. Heck this would be the first duel of his you are seeing but it would be another one where it is with the world at dire stakes again. The duel was almost over when Yami drew his next card "I know there is still good in you! I am going to bring it out of you Rafael!" He shouts to him when he drew his next card. Yami used his Pot of Greed spell card to let him draw two more cards. Activated one of those cards called Spider Web which allows him to use a card from Rafael's graveyard. "I choose to use this card to use your Monster Reborn spell card to summon back to the field Guardian Eatos!" An angel winged tribe monster came to Yami's side of the field. Yami held up his other hand "I summon the card you dared to give back to me before this duel — Claw of Hermos! I fuse Queen's Knight and Claw of Hermos together to make Goddess Bow! Equipping it to your Guardian Eatos to double its attack points! Making her have 5000 attack points which is equal to your Guardian Dreadscythe since she is no longer in your graveyard!" A blue bow was made from the fusion of his other two monsters. "They have the same attack points. I don't get it." Tea was confused. Kaiba narrows his eyes at the gameplay the pharaoh was using "He must have something planned." Kaiba muttered.
You looked at Kaiba "Special ability in the bow I bet." Kaiba turned to you and clicked his tongue "As if you have any money to bet against me (Y/n)." Kaiba was egotistical as ever. You rolled your eyes 'I think I liked the past Kaiba better. He was less mean.' You thought to yourself with a little pout. Both of you went back to focus on the duel. "Now attack Guardian Eatos! Attack with the special ability resonating within your Goddess Bow!" Yami shouts as Rafael's old monster went in for the attack. You smirk, nudging Kaiba, he gives you a side glance "Told ya." Kaiba rolled his eyes with a scoff "Whatever." he grumbled. "Now whenever your Dreadscythe revives itself onto the field, Eatos can attack again! Not only that but with each attack done by your monster you lose another card!" Yami announces the special ability the bow had. Making Rafael's once unbeatable Dreadscythe no longer unbeatable and no longer on the field. Guardian Eatos soon left the field with the mask of that darker side of hers monster to the graveyard with Yami's turn being over. Rafael's turn was next.
Jane glanced at Tristan who noticed her staring at him "We got to get Joey and Mai right now. This place is going to collapse soon." Tea overheard and yelps "You cannot be serious right now!" she whisper yelled to the two of you. "Why didn't you mention this earlier?!" Tristan whisper yelled at Jane. "I didn't find the time to really get to say it. There is no time to argue. We got to prepare." Jane would ask Mokuba to tell Kaiba but he would most likely shout it so she relied on Tea to do it. Tea ran over to Kaiba to tell him to prepare the chopper to have a way to escape safely. Kabiba did argue but in the end he did have one come on its way for Mokuba's sake. Stepping away to make the call. Leaving you and Mokuba with each other since Tea went with Kaiba to make sure he made the call. Jane ran over to the bodies of Mai and Joey with Tristan. Tristand piggy backed Joey again "Oh my back" He winced from the pop he felt in his back when he carried Joey. "Stop being a baby." Jane carried Mai on her back no problem. "Okay you have super strength. That's not fair." Tristan huffed. Jane rolled her emerald eyes at Tristan. Their attention went over to the seal beaming the dark clouded sky that was big but soon started to shrink. Going to take Rafael's soul since he used the power of Underworld Circle, Yami's spell card, Bringing back his Guardian Grarl and then used the spell card Soul Charge which allowed him to summon more monsters from his graveyard. Although that card doesn't allow him to attack until his next turn but it did however make his graveyard completely empty which in turn took the rest of his life points away because he summoned all monsters from his graveyard. With each monster, it costs 500 of his life points which were at 1200 life points at the moment. Dropping to 0 soon after.
Rafael lost with no more darkness in his heart because Yami made him see the light. Yami won the duel.
Yami ran over to Rafael to prevent him from being consumed by the seal although nothing happened. Rafael and Yami were confused when they saw him with his soul still. "How am I still here?" Rafael placed a hand on his neck and didn't feel the stone. It shattered at the end of the duel. "The seal is powered by the darkness from within the person who plays it. Since Yami helped Rafael conquer that darkness – Rafael's soul was spared and he is free from Dartz's brainwash." You said with a soft smile towards the two of them. Being glad a soul wasn't taken but also glad that they were both still with everyone. Rafael and Yami turned to you when you told them about Rafael being able to avoid his demise. "Are you really Lady (Y/n)?" Rafael asked with Mokuba holding his arm out in defense for you. Staying in front of you because he was still skeptical of this guy. "What's it to you huh?" Mokuba hissed with his eyes glaring at him to try to intimidate him. Rafael silently gasps and his expression changes from being in pain to one of great concern "Dartz is trying to take you Lady (Y/n)! When I was almost consumed I could sense he was watching us! He knows you're here! Please be on your gua–" Rafael cut himself off when he saw a big portal appear behind you. Both Yami and Rafael's eyes grew wide in horror. Mokuba turned around and saw two robe arms come out and one had a hand over your mouth with some sort of cloth while the other arm was going to wrap around your waist to pull you back into the portal.
Everything was slow to you and everyone. Jane and Tristan were shouting for you. Tea left Kaiba to run over towards you with Kaiba barely noticing what was suddenly happening because he was still on the phone with Roland who told him he was almost to their location. His eyes went wide once he took in what was happening.
You had manifested your now glowing from the sense of danger millenium dagger into your hand to try to create something to fight back. The whaffing smell of chemicals made your body completely weak. You dropped your hand with your dagger still clutched tightly into your hand. Mokuba had reached out to grab you but he only grabbed your dueling belt. Ripping it off your waist when you were pulled back into the portal with Dartz's menacing laughter echoed through the portal that your unconscious body was pulled into. There one moment and snatched the next. Portal was gone. You were gone.
The beaming sun of dawn started to rise in the sky. Morning was looming upon the city. Yami stared at the spot you were taken 'No . . . I let her slip away from me again . . . I failed you yet again (Y/n) . . .' Yami clenched a fist. "DAMN YOU DAAAARTZ!!!!" Yami screamed into the sky. Jane watched from afar of Yami feeling enraged but he was trying to not let this new found anger consume his heart. Jane was calm, only because she could feel you were alright with her soul bind with you. You were not seriously hurt at least she hoped you weren't going to be for the time being. Mokuba fell to his knees with your dueling belt in his hand. He stared down at it with his trembling hands. "He took her . . . He really took (Y/n) . . ." Mokuba's tear fell on the duel belt. Poor boy was too stunned to comprehend what just happened. Tea ran to his side and she had to force him to stand up "We have to go Mokuba!" The floor beneath everyone started to rumble. Cracks in the building were starting to manifest. "Mr. Kaiba! Up here!" Roland called out to them from a safe landing spot. Yami grit his teeth as his first was shaking from keeping in his rage he felt of you being kidnapped by Dartz. Rafael put a hand on the pharaoh's shoulder "I know where Lady (Y/n) is being kept." he grabbed Yami's attention. His fist no longer shaking from fury. He was all ears for hearing a way to save you. "She is being kept at Dartz's lair. I can show you all the way as a thank you for making me regain my sense of light." Yami helped Rafael up and started to carry him to the helicopter. He managed to get in the helicopter with everyone on board.
Riding away from the crumbling building that revealed another layer of the true form of the real building. Yami set Rafael down on a seat. Jane and Tristan rested Joey and Mai on a place for them to rest. Jane was leaning on the wall near the entrance room for the controls of the chopper. Looking down at her wrist with her charm bracelet. Tristan went to sit beside Mokuba. Rafael rummaged through his inside pocket from his coat to take out a chip. Handing it over the chip to Kaiba "This chip will lead us to Dartz's lair." Kaiba quickly snatched the chip out of his hand and he put it in his phone. It showed a map location. Dartz's lair's location. "Take us to these coordinates!" He threw his phone with the map to Roland who fumbled to catch it. Roland sighed in relief that he caught it "R-Right away Mr. Kaiba . . ." He went over to the pilot to place in a spot for him to follow the coordinates. Kaiba went to the end of the chopper to close the hatch of the helicopter.
Mokuba set aside your duel disk on the small spot between him and Tristan. He darted his eyes at Rafael "What does Dartz want with (Y/n)?" He demanded. For a second there Tea could have sworn Mokuba had the same expression as his older brother. Mokuba gripped the end of his shirt to keep himself calm. Rafael hugged his arm, the effect from the seal of Orichalcos was taking its toll on his physical body with pain. He stared back at Mokuba with a serious look in his eyes "When I first heard Mai mention Lady (Y/n), I went to ask about her to Dartz." He clenched the fabric of his coat's arms sleeve that he held "He faced her once before 5,000 years ago, she sealed him away with the 4th guardian. Talking about how she was the perfect woman to be the first to be a part of the paradise he is going to create once he wipes the entire world out . . . Saying she was the most beautiful thing that perfectly fitted his image of paradise . . . He wants her at his side when he rules the new world . . . As his . . ." Mokuba let go of his shirt and was shocked from what he told them.
Tea put a hand over her mouth. "He's sick. He's keeping her prisoner for his own personal pleasure." Tea felt sick to her stomach thinking about his sick and twisted ambitions. Yami eyes were casted with shadow "That fucking bastard . . ." He punched the side of the chopper's wall. Making everyone jump from him slamming his fist. "If he lays a hand on her or even touches (Y/n), I will make him wish he never existed." his tone was dark and obviously of anger. The aura he gave off sent chills down most of everyone's spines. "She will never join him!" Tristan stated with much confidence behind it. He knew you would never be apart of his vision of this sick genocide for a real peaceful new world. You saved them countless times. You cared for everyone and your friends, willing to risk anything to protect everyone. Tristan had a light bulb of an idea, well, of a memory. "Wait, (Y/n) mentioned in the trailer she needed to summon the staff. Can't (Y/n) just summon the staff and defeat him again like the prophecy said?" He made a good point. Rafael and Jane turn to Tristan "The Staff of Light." They both said at the same time. Rafael turned to Jane "I know the name of the staff from Dartz but how do you know the name of the staff?" He raised a good question. "That is because I was there the day she sealed that mad man away." Jane nonchalantly told Rafael. He gasps softly "Then you're the 4th guardian who fought by her side! You must know how she was able to summon it!" Jane's eyes sadden and she shakes her head.
Everyone's eyes were hopeful for that mere moment but were gone once Jane shook her head. "I never knew how she summoned it. It was nothing but a miracle she was able to summon it. My lady only assumes it is another manifestation of her millennium dagger but there is a secret way to summon The Staff of Light. A way neither me or her have been able to figure out." Jane twisted the charm of her bracelet. Yami stood up from his seat "(Y/n) also mentioned in the trailer she looked through your memories to have seen it. You know so much that you haven't been able to tell us. Please, tell us all that you know: What is going to happen next? I heard from Dark Magician Girl that the 4th guardian broke a sacred law. What was this law you broke that forbade you to ever enter the Monster Domain World? What did you do? How come you know so much? How did you and (Y/n) come back here?" Yami was pestering Jane with questions. Jane could see he wanted to be told what was really going on. Tired of being kept in the dark. Everyone's attention went to Jane. Rafael was just even more confused.
Jane gripped the horus eye charm, taking in a deep breath, and exhaling a shaky breath. Yami noticed how Jane was suddenly getting nervous but also scared. "Do you really want to know, Pharaoh? Can you truly handle the truth that you seek? Can all of you handle witnessing it all?" she held up her charm bracelet and clung to the charm of it. "(Y/n) did say you showed her your memories. Are we going to be able to see them too? Not that I believe in any of this magic crap." Kaiba walked up to the group. Skeptical as always of everything supernatural. He already had his arms across his chest. "It is not a sight for children. Heed my warning now." She looked over to Mokuba. Mokuba was already looking right at her. He could have sworn she was on the urge to cry as her eyes were begging for them to hopefully say they didn't want to go through with this. Even though she knew they were going to anyway. You weren't here to make her feel confident this time. She was going to have to go through this with so much anxiety she has never felt before. It was so much she felt the urge to throw up. Jane knew the look on everyone's faces was not going to be the same once they witnessed her memories. "We are all in. Except Rafael." Yami turned to Rafael "You are not in the right condition to go through this. It is best if you stay behind." Rafael's mouth was agape but he closed it, he couldn't argue. He really was in no condition to go through this supernatural memory walk journey. Rafael simply gave the pharaoh a firm nod.
"It will be a while before we get there. There should be enough time to do this." Tea said as she moved away from the window. It was an endless sea with no evil looking lair in sight just yet. Jane took a look at everyone who gathered around her to do this memory walk. 'My lady . . . I am so scared . . . If you were by my side I wouldn't feel so terrified . . . You were able to accept me . . . Will they too be able to accept me even with all my wrongs? I want them to, just like you did . . . Is it wrong for me to think that way? Do I have a right to? . . . Oh well . . . This happiness between me and them was nice while it lasted . . . I was really happy that you all got to see me after all these years . . . I can still be glad about that at least . . . Right, my lady?' Jane thought as she tore the charm off her bracelet and everyone was soon transported into her memories.
