My heart started racing when I heard those words leave his mouth.
Joshua looks straight in the eyes and continues "Once you got together with Mingyu that's when I noticed how I felt about you. You looked so happy with Mingyu that I couldn't tell you how I felt so I continued to be there for y'all. But because I did so it hurt me so I got together with Tzuyu. I hoped that maybe Tzuyu would make me get over you but she didn't." Joshua says honestly.
I sit there in silence, too shocked to even say anything.
"Please say something" Joshua pleaded
"I loved you for a long time but now I love Mingyu." I say honestly
"You loved me before?" Joshua says shocked
I nod "Ever since we were kids all the way up until recently."
"Then you must still have a little ounce of love for me."
"I don't. I only love Mingyu now. You're too late now Joshua." I say before standing up
Joshua follows my actions
"Goodbye Joshua." I say quietly
"No, Y/n don't leave me." Joshua says as he grabs a hold of my hand
"I'm sorry Joshua, I have to go now." I say before slipping out of his hold
I walk back home and walk through the door.
I smell pancakes as I enter.
I walk into the kitchen and ser Mingyu cooking breakfast.
He's to busy too notice that I've arrived.
I walk up behind up and wrap my arms around waist and burry my face in back.
"Oh hey, I thought you went to the cafe already." Mingyu laughs slightly
I stay silent.
Mingyu turns around and puts his arms around me.
"Are you ok, love?" Mingyu asks with a hint of worry in his voice
I don't look up at Mingyu but answer his question.
"I just met up with Joshua..." I paused but continued "he said he loves me."
Mingyu was taken aback once I said that.
"And?" More worry is heard in his voice
I look up and meet his eyes.
"I said I loved him."
"You love him?" Mingyu asks surprised
"Loved, past tense." I shake my head
"Oh"
"I told him I love you now." I say honestly
Mingyu slightly smiles "so what now?"
"I said goodbye to Joshua."
"Forever?" Mingyu asks once again surprised
I sigh "I don't know."
"We'll I'm glad you chose me, but I feel sorry for Joshua."
I nod in agreement.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
