Arc 1 - The Educated Youth Who Abandoned His Wife And Son (Chapters 1-15) - Sickly OG gets sent to the countryside instead of his stepbrother by his own mother. He marries a villager wife and had a son. When the college entrance examination resumed, he abandoned his family, fought for property with his step-siblings, and finally ended up dead. MC's mission is to treat the wife well and also, OG's father who his mother divorced.
Arc 2 - The Hidden Marriage Of The Scum Film Emperor (Chapter 16-26) - MC becomes a Film Emperor in a hidden marriage with his non-showbiz wife for 12 years. Gets seduced by his wife's evil half-sister, got framed doing drugs and lost all his reputation. MC's mission is to be good to the wife and punish the half-sister and her conspirators.
Arc 3 - The Best Brother in the World (Chapter 27-36) - OG's sister was trafficked and was killed after being raped. After finding out the truth, OG killed everyone who was involved in the crime: ALL the villagers, traffickers, his sister's classmates who intentionally got her drunk. He got killed before he got to all of them. OG's wish is revenge while the sister's wish is for his Bro to have a good life. MC revenges on the perpetrators but didn't get caught cause of his hacking skills, fulfilling the wishes of both of them.
Arc 4 - The Phoenix Man Who Destroyed The Bridge After Crossing The River (Chapter 37-49) - OG is a poor student while his girlfriend is rich. After marrying her, he was caught in the scheme of those who were coveting his wife's wealth. MC uses his computer skills to become rich and also did not let the two reborn person (previous life schemers) succeed again in this life.
Arc 5 - The Treasonous General (Chapter 50-62) - OG is from the General's family and has protected their country for many generations. He was framed to become a traitor and after being disabled, he was exiled out of the country. MC didn't receive OG's wishes/mission or his past life memory so MC had to figure it out on his own. He found out who framed him and then married the Princess who took revenge for OG in the original plotline.
Arc 6 - Who Made Me An Honest Man (Chapter 63-72) - A woman was pregnant with the illegitimate child of a married man so she was looking for someone to marry. She chose OG cos he was an 'honest man'. Cos the pregnancy month doesn't match up, she pretended to have an accident that cause her to have premature delivery and blamed it on her mother-in-law. Laters, when the rich man can finally marry her, she gave OG a bad reputation so she can divorce him. Because of the soul's wish (wisher is the Mother), MC had to marry the girl. Laters, when the woman was giving them a bad reputation, he exposed the truth with the fake accident and pregnancy before their marriage.
Arc 7 - The Farmer Who Became The Top Scorer In The Palace Examination (Chapter 73-84) - Ancient times. MC becomes the son of a farmer. OG was able to study because he was funded by the clan. After he became a scholar, they felt that the child bride bought for him was no longer suitable for him to marry. However, due to scheming of relatives, he had relations with the child bride and made her pregnant. At this time, the Emperor fancied him to be a son-in-law and he said that he did not have a wife and married the Princess. They married the child bride to OG's cousin who abused her until she died. Laters, the child's bride big brother came and found out the truth and the whole family was implicated. MC's mission is for the child bride to be happy and find someone who loves her and also to punish the original. OG is reborn as MC's cousin. Arc 9 - The Whole World Was Reborn (Chapter 101-115) - OG is the spoiled youngest son. In the first life, he was friends with bad company, got gambling debts and dragged down the whole family. In the 2nd life, almost all his relatives are reborn, they hated him and introduced him to bad company even earlier in this life so he will die early. At the time, OG was only 15 yrs old and since he wasn't reborn he didn't know why his life became like that. MC's mission is to be a successful person and be filial to his mother. No revenge against the relatives who schemed against him in the 2nd life, but they overestimated themselves and became miserable on their own.
Arc 10 - I Want to Survive in a Deserted Island (Chapter 116-128) - Interstellar. OG is an 'adventure' live broadcast anchor who's faking it. Joins a variety show but the contestants accidentally got into an undiscovered planet. Contestants dies one by one including OG. MC's mission is to discover what happened in the planet and also to protect the contestants. He shows off his real adventurer skills and found the mad scientist behind the scenes.
Arc 11 - Stallion Male (Chapter 129-141) - Modern. OG is a stallion male protagonist, gets an 'appraisal(?)' golden finger skill and then starts to collect many girls into his harem. Finally, the main wife/childhood sweetheart asked for a divorce. MC's mission is to stay together with childhood sweetheart and keep the peace bet. the girls. MC didn't plan to provoke the other harem girls/stay loyal with childhood sweetheart. A transmigrator came and stole his appraisal golden finger but with the halo of a 'protagonist', MC found another treasure/golden finger, which is a teaching space with the Kitchen God. Will be very useful in other worlds~
Arc 12 - Perverted Self Redemption (Chapter 142-150) - Surprisingly dark. OG is a mute music teacher, he was traumatized as a kid when he watch his mother die due to domestic violence. After seeing his students experiencing the same thing, kills the perpetrator/abusive parent to stop the abuse. MC made the matter big in the internet and then surrendered to the police so the public will take the issue of domestic violence seriously.
Arc 13 - The Loafer's Spring (Chapter 151-159) - 70s-80s. OG is a loafer/unemployed who is still living with his parents. Gets gambling debts and then sold his nephews to traffickers for money TWICE. Finally, his sister-in-law hacked him to death. Wisher is OG's parents, just wish that their son would stop harming others and that their grandson (the nephews) grow up well. MC comes in and sold meat buns learned from the Kitchen God. After earning money, he will be lazy at home and accompany OG's parents. When the money is spent, he will sell meat buns again~ It's suppose to be a vacation world cos the previous world was too heavy.
Arc 14 - Misplaced Life (Chapter 160-171) - Dogblood. Switched at birth. #SPOILER OG is the son of the legal wife but the mistress switched him and the illegitimate son. Later, the husband knew about it but he chose to conceal it. Mistress marries an 'honest man' and raised OG as their son, controls OG to be hostile to his fake Dad and real Mom. MC comes in and sides with his 'honest man' Dad. Later when the truth is revealed, he didn't choose to inherit the business/fight for family wealth and only recognize his fake Dad and real Mom. The illegitimate son is also pitiful here.
Arc 15 - Miser Career (Chapter 172-184) - OG has a 4 daughters and 1 youngest son, worked hard to raise them all and give them a good life, but due to messy relatives, the siblings all accused him of bias/favoritism and until his death, the messy relatives were still fighting over his property. MC's mission is to raise the siblings but to only spend what is necessary. MC cuts off contact with the messy relatives, he also tells the sibs that their family is poor and cannot buy them toys/dresses but all of them can go to school. Also showed them how hard it is to earn money for the family. Laters, distributes his property to them before his death. MC is actually really really rich. XD
Arc 16 - Ghostly Love (Chapter 185-198) - OG's parents were killed by an evil ghost. After learning how to exorcise ghost, OG hated all ghosts. MC's mission is to protect some ghost/people OG harmed in the last life and investigate what happened with his parents. The ending was quite nice ^^
Arc 17 - The Queen's Favorite (Chapter 199-214) - Ancient times except femdom/matriarchy. There's an Empress with a harem full of pretty men. OG is from a family of generals so he is quite manly/burly compared to others, the "ugly" one in the harem. After not getting the Empress's heart, he plotted a rebellion ^^'; MC's mission is to be the Empress's favourite and make her dismiss the harem for him. It's the Little Wolf Dog all over again XD
Arc 18 - Vicious Supporting Female Lead with her Godfather (Chapter 215-227) - Lol. OG is a rich man with many lace news, got attracted to the FL who is 12 years younger than him. FL asked OG to help her investigate her parent's death in exchange of her body. Zombie apocalypse came, many things happened, OG really likes FL but their 'transaction' is a thorn in her heart so she never agreed. Oh and FL's white lotus sister is also reborn. MC came in and #SPOILER stops the apocalypse XD Lol. Reborn sis convinced the parents to sell their company for supplies but since the apocalypse didn't happen, they are now going bankrupt XD MC also assist FL in the name of Uncle/Godfather XD MC gets a magical space necklace here.
Arc 19 - I Want to Be a Good Person (Chapter 228-239) - OG is a good person but evil relatives and a family of scammers used public opinion to convict him and ruin his life. щ('Д'щ;) MC comes in and followed OG's previous action. When the relatives and the scammer family tried to extort him, he showed evidence of their scam. He also took all the 'righteous netizens' who is maliciously speculating about him to court and sued them for slander.
Arc 20 - I Don't Tear Up the Family Home (Chapter 240-249) - MC becomes a dog! Lmao. MC has a blind owner and they depend on each other. The owner is rich so the dog is really pampered. When the owner got married to an ordinary family, contradictions ensue since they can't understand why the dog is so valued. Anyways, MC's mission is to be a matchmaker! Find a better man for his owner.
Arc 21 - Metamorphosis Factory (Chapter 250-265) - Ancient times. MC becomes a eunuch!! (Poor MC). Emperor is crazy for immortality. OG used to belong to a big family but their family was framed and all killed. He managed to escape, changed his identity and became a eunuch near the Emperor leading him to ruin even faster and the country as well (I think? Sorry MTL) MC comes in and still ruined the Emperor but he also taught the next Emperor how to manage the country before resigning/giving up power.
Arc 22 - Mary Sue's Men (Chapter 266-280) - Modern. OG is a rich man and has five daughters, all of them excellent. Laters, their fiances/boyfriends all betrayed them and they all fell for the same girl. OG as well fell for the girl and even cut-off ties with his daughters for the girl. MC's mission is to make the daughters happy as well as discover the reason why all the men where attracted to the girl. Girl has a golden finger/possessed by a spirit and she can get prettier/more enchanting when men likes her.
Arc 23 - Everytime I Was Reborn, Someone Wants to Kill Me (Chapter 281-288) - OG is a doctor, he remembers dying and being 'reborn', he avoids the stuff that would lead to his death, but he would be killed by something else. This happened many many times and OG has become paranoid. MC's mission is to avoid death/find out who is killing him. #spoiler It is a game, and the 'player' (OG's girlfriend) keeps resetting it when OG breaks up with her. NPC OG gained consciousness and remembered the previous resets when he respawns/rebirth.
Arc 24 - Old Son's Counterattack (Chapter 289-298) - OG is the only son of an old couple. Because they had him when they were in their 40s, the couple is especially good to him. He lost his motivation to improve himself cos the couple would always find ways to give him what he wants. He only insisted on writing/being an author but he's not talented. MC's mission is to become a talented writer and make the old couple proud. MC wrote about food porn (Kitchen God recipes), science fiction (interstellar) etc.
Arc 25 - Global Evolution (Chapter 299-314) - OG is an unintentional illegitimate son. Because of messy relatives, he is estranged with his father and half-brother. Global evolution came and plants/animals grew bigger/fiercer, humans also gained abilities. OG believed the instigation of their family's enemies and led his brother (who's a powerful ability user) to be killed. Then he learns that he has just been used. MC used the druid skill from the System store so he can communicate with the plants/animals.
Arc 26 - When I Became an Influencer (Chapter 315-328) - MC becomes a chubby seiyuu. The guy is an introvert, he used to be handsome but suddenly became fatter and can't lose weight and slowly degenerated. OG's wish is to be famous. MC comes in and uses a System skill so he can become a big Stomach King, joins a live broadcast eating competition. Also became a live anchor of cooking, eating and losing weight. Exposed the stepmother of the original Host who drugged the OG to become fat.
Arc 27 - For Your Own Good (Chapter 329-340) - OG has controlling parents! Since he was a child, his parents controlled everything for him: food, choice of clothes, he is not allowed any activities outside of school, asked him to break up with his girlfriend, chose what college course he should take and what job he should have, all for his OWN GOOD. They also chose a wife for him and then fed the pregnant wife some dubious medicine so the child would be a 'grandson'. Finally, his wife divorced him and he ran away from home. OG's wish is to make his parents understand their wrong and return the phrase "for your own good" to them. MC becomes a successful businessman and assigns his parents many etiquette classes, 'healthy' diet, expensive but uncomfortable clothes etc. Basically what they did to OG, also gave them a dream of what happened in the last life when OG decided to follow all their decisions for him.
Arc 28 - His Heart Has a White Moonlight (341-355) - MC comes to a low IQ idol drama-ish world. There's a white lotus heroine and an overbearing CEO male lead. OG is the 'supporting male lead'/CEO's love rival. There's also a vicious female lead who is in unrequited love with OG and entered a business marriage with him. OG keeps being lead on by the heroine even after marriage. Anyways, their family did not end well. MC comes in and stay faithful with the marriage. He also discovered the truth behind the heroine's 'life-saving grace' for OG which is fake.
#SPOILER MC accumulates a million points and chose to stay as a Host, instead of going back to his original world.
Hmm.. although MC is supposed to transmigrate into "Villains" but most of them were only framed/wronged and not really a bad person. MC isn't OP but he slowly gets skills as he goes thru missions since he can use his points to buy in the System mall (like the hacking skill, cooking skill etc.).
More often, no whitewashing needed, MC usually comes before all the bad things happen so its more easy to avoid/prevent it. And if the OG has really done something wrong, MC doesn't whitewash it (like with the mute teacher). The arcs are good, but I guess, they're all pretty...normal? It just feels like I've seen something similar in other world hopping works before. The scifi elements in some arcs are pretty interesting though like the rebirth flower in the deserted island and the self-conscious NPC who keeps being killed. Will check if author-sama ever had scifi works.
Regarding the pet tag, MC later had a pet Husky and orange cat hatched from the System store that he can take with him in his transmigration XD
My fave arc is The Soft Rice Man's Self-Cultivation (Little Wolf Dog!), The Best Brother in the World (I'm getting Jigsaw vibes~), and Miser Career (Secret Rich Man).
