It was amazing. It was an indescribable feeling that was going through Kalvin's heart. He didn't know what to say, so he was just smiling. His smile was so big and it simply meant happiness. It was incredible to feel his baby girl kicking in Cora's stomach. It couldn't believe that was happening though. It was their first real interaction. Now he really wanted her to be here. He really wanted to carry her in his arms and to give her love. The sensation that he was feeling in his heart was something that had never happened before, but it was so beautiful. It was his love for his unborn child. She wasn't here, but he already loved her to death.
"She's kicking ? " Acacia asked surprised.
Cora nodded her head, "Yes ! C'mon ! " She motioned for the twins to come towards her to feel the kicks also.
Each twin placed a hand on the belly next to Kalvin's. And the baby kicked again. Both liked that. It was strange, because they had never felt a sensation like this before, but it was wonderful. It was like they were communicating with her. She was letting them know that she was here with them. They were so happy to enjoy this moment with their mother and Kalvin. It was special and it got them closer. Much more than they could tell.
It was magic.
Cora wiped her eyes looking at them. The three were fascinated and a had huge grin on their faces. She couldn't help but going back to five months ago in her mind, when they first met. It was a real mess. A disaster. They gave his car away and he was pissed off. They almost made him run away. That's what she thought, but he stayed and they tried again and now…they were acting like a family. This moment was going to stay stuck in her memory forever. It was so precious.
"Awe, she stopped." Almar pouted.
Cora chuckled, "Fortunately. It hurts a little bit when she does that. So, can we eat breakfast now ? I think that's why she was kicking, she's hungry." She said joking.
"Or she was just wishing you a happy birthday." Kalvin said and walked to the counter to take the plates and set them on the table.
Once they were settled down, the four joined their hands and Kalvin blessed the food. Then they were feeding their body in silence. A comfortable silence. These pancakes and eggs tasted like perfection in their mouth. Mainly this breakfast seemed like to be something so simple, but they didn't need much to be happy. Cora was having an awesome birthday. And suddenly, her phone began to vibrate frenetically. And the phone house was ringing.
"Damn, they all decided to do this at the same time." Kalvin said standing up to answer the phone home. What he regretted once he heard Latoya and Terry loud mouths.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORA !!!!! "
Kal pulled the phone away from his ear, but he still could hear them clearly. He shook his head putting it back on his right ear, "Are you two completely insane ? "
"Kal, get off that damn phone and let us talk to the birthday queen. Pronto ! " Terry yelled causing his best friend to playfully roll his eyes at him.
"She can't talk to you right now, she's busy." He looked at Cora who was having a conversation with someone through her IPhone.
"Oh, man ! " Exclaimed Latoya.
"Call back in five or ten minutes."
"Okay, bro. And you better not answer next time." Terry warned joking. He was always doing the most to wish someone a happy birthday.
Kalvin shook his head hanging up.

After not one, but two hours of responding to people kindness and eating her breakfast at the same time, Cora finally decided to take a break from her phone. She was receiving messages, calls and her Twitter, Facebook and Instagram's notifications were going crazy. Because Terry and Latoya posted something about it, people from all around the word were wishing her a happy birthday. They were even leaving nice comments on Kalvin's social networks.
Since the medias couldn't stop investigating on their relationship and now that they had identified Cora, people thought that they were officially a couple and were saying that the twins were THEIR kids. Neither Kalvin, nor Cora saw that yet, but they were about to discover very soon.
"Mom ! Kal ! Come see ! We're on TV ! " Acacia screamed from the couch in the living room and turning the volume up.
"Hello everyone and thanks for watching us, I'm Ashley Livingston and this is time for The News on People TV ! " The young blond woman greeted the spectators, "So, today the main topic is one of our favourite stars, yeah I'm talking about Kalvin Ryans ! Talented basketball player from the Miami Heats, Kalvin is also known for being one of the sexiest players of the NBA and since he got exposed to the famous light, we never had a peek in his personal life. Well, all changed ! " A few pictures of him appeared on the screen.
"For a couple of weeks now, we received a lot of information coming from different blogs and we were confused about the all situation, but we finally cleared all of this. So, apparently, our shining star has a girlfriend and two kids. Wow ! Yes, I was shocked like you guys, but it's true." She pointed the pictures on the screen behind her, "And it seems like the two love birds are going to welcome another baby. Sorry ladies. Personally, I am extremely happy for Mr.Ryans, he deserves it."
"I had never seen them photograph us." Almar said a little lost with everything he heard.
"Because I have a restraining order against them. They can't get near me within 50 meters. So, they have to snap these pictures in long distance, so we don't see them taking them."
"Okay, well… they became real ninjas with that restraining order, Kal. They're good at it, because it looks like they were close enough for us to hear them or quickly see something." Acacia commented turning her head towards him who was standing behind her.
He chuckled, "Yes, I know. Oh ! They're talking about Terry also."
They got their attention back to the TV, "It looks like Terry Daniels finally decided to settle down. Lately, he had been spot several times in company of a beautiful woman and if you really observe these pictures, you can clearly tell that they're dating." Effectively, on one they were holding hands; on another one they were sharing a kiss; the third one, they were hugging and on the last one they were having lunch together and Halley was feeding Terry.
"Awww ! They're so cute." Cora coed smiling.
"And I have another scoop guys ! Yohann Connor from the famous and rich Connor family has someone too. And you know what friends ? His girlfriend is sister with Cora McKall. Her name is Sancy and look how beautiful she is." She showed a picture.
"Wow ! They found out everything." Cora said surprised.
"So…we're famous now ? Well, mom was already a little, but now with you it's a total new level. Can we still go to the mall like before ? "
"Acacia, it's not that serious." Almar said shaking his head at her.
"Yes, it is, homie ! We're famous ! Oh my ! I'm going to have fans ! " The young girl got excited.
Kalvin chuckled, "It's not that funny, believe me. You're gonna be annoyed quickly with people trying to know everything personal about you."
"Well, if they ask questions, I don't n have to answer, right ? "
He winked at her, "You smart."
"You loyal, you grateful, I appreciate you." Almar added laughing.
"Please, stop." Cora pleaded laughing too.
Once they were done with this conversation, they get ready to get out for Cora's birthday. Even if it was her day, she wanted the twins to choose their activity. And soon, they were at the zoo. They stayed there seeing animals and having fun together for hours and quickly it was the end of the afternoon and they were going back home, but to then get out again. They were meeting everybody at this restaurant called El Amor for a birthday dinner.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! " The big family greeted the four as they entered in.
Cora smiled widely, "Thanks ! "
They sat down with the others and everybody began immediately to discuss different topics. They were laughing and getting to know each other better. They were having a great time as always. Then two waiters came to their table to take their orders. After a couple of minutes, appetizers were served.
And the diner kept going as fine as it started. After the drama they just lived, it was cool to finally relax and to share a well needed family time. Baby girl kicked two times to let her presence be known. Everything was perfect. And soon it was time to sing for Cora. Instead of this moment taking five little minutes, it took twenty minutes because Terry and Latoya -with the help of the kids- did like three remixes. At the end, it was the entire restaurant that was laughing and applauding for them. Since they were animating the establishment, the owner even got out of his kitchen to cheer for Cora.
"Oh wow ! Thanks so much for making this day something exceptional. I really appreciate you, even the people I don't know." She referred to the other customers in the restaurant who chuckled, "Really…I couldn't ask for more. This day was perfect, even beyond that. Thank you, thanks."
"To the beautiful Miss Cora." Mr.Márquez said lifting his glass and everybody did the same.
"To Cora ! "

"Wow ! What a day ! " Cora exclaimed walking in the room and then she stopped in her track seeing gifts on the bed next to Kalvin who was turning his phone off, "What is that ? "
He chuckled, "And what do you think it is ? "
She smiled weakly, "Aw ! "
He grinned, "I know I should've not done this, but I wanted to. And you can also thank Sancy, your mother, Halley, Toya, Rhana, Francky, Kalia and my mother for helping. And thank Acacia for the ideas. Aaaand happy birthday ! "
She beamed and sat on the bed, "Thank you so much ! And…before to start opening them, I want to know something." She bit on her bottom lip.
He raised his eyebrow, "What ? "
"Uh…" She cleared her throat, "…About us, the fact that people think that the twins are yours and now know that we're going to have a baby. I want to know how you feel about all of this."
"Well…First off, I don't care what people say. I don't care about their opinion and it had always been like that. Now about us, we're doing our thing. We're taking step after step, no need to rush anything and we know we're falling for each other. We're taking our time and that's cool with me. Is it still cool with you too ? " He asked looking at her.
She nodded her head, "Yeah. I don't want us to rush into things we're still not ready for."
He smiled, "Okay. And about the twins…well…I'm falling for their charm too. It doesn't bother me if people think they're mine…Actually, I'm adopting them as mine more and more every day in my heart, to be honest with you. And now people know we're about to have a baby and so what ? I just don't want the medias to annoy us the day we're welcoming her in our family."
She grinned and wrapped her arms around his neck, then pecked his lips, "Very good answer, Mr.Ryans. You just gained more points."
He slightly laughed, "Great ! Now, open your gifts so we can go to sleep, please."
"Okay, okay. Which one should I open first ? " She asked excited to discover what he got her. He pointed two bags and she picked it up, "Louboutin ?! " She gasped completely taken by surprise.
She opened them and pulled out three shoes boxes. This man didn't get her one, not two, but three pairs of Louboutin shoes ! In the first box, there some 140 mm black leather Bianca Botta Calf boots; in the second, there was a pair of 140 mm purple and golden Berlinissimo veau velours heels and it the last one, there were 100 mm nude Gortika heels. There were all beautiful and she couldn't wait to wear them after the pregnancy, because now heels were killers for her poor feet.
He chuckled, "C'mon, stop staring at them like that and open the other gifts." He handed her another bag, that was more little than the first one's.
She thanked him and pulled out a king blue box with the logo and Swarovski written on it. It was black and gold tone watch/crystalline bangle. Now thanks to him she had two new watches. She kissed his cheek and he gave her the third present. She saw Chanel and her smile only got bigger. She couldn't believe he did all of this for her. And now she had a new bag.
She let escape a little squeal and hugged him, then it was finally time for the last bag, "Are you crazy ? Oh my God ! " She had another bag, but it was a black leather Louis Vuitton capucine bag. And she absolutely loved it. She couldn't help but stood up and tried it on her to see how she looked like with it. She observed herself in her long mirror and clapped her hands happily.
"I conclude you like them all." He stood up also, but it was to put everything in her closet, except the watch/bangle that he placed next to the other that he offered her at midnight in her jewelries box.
"What ? Like ? I'm already addicted to them all. Thank you so much, Kalvin. I don't know what to say than that. Thanks so so so so so so so so so so so so s-"
"Okay, I think I got it. You're welcome." He cut her laughing. Then she suddenly pouted, what caused his face expression to change and to worry instantly, "What ? Are you okay ? "
She nodded, "Yes, but I feel so bad for giving you nothing at your birthday."
He fanned her off, "I had never really got presents for my birthday in my life, so I'm fine with it. Plus, I already told you, you're about to give me the most beautiful gift of the world. I just have to be a little bit more patient and I'll finally be carrying her in my arms." He walked towards her and hugged her, then kissed her forehead, "And she will be so spoiled."
They both laughed enjoying their embrace.
