Carlos waited in Tk's room everyone told him to go home he never did well never more than a hour to eat something and get a shower and change
While Carlos sat and waited he looked at pictures he had of the two of them on his phone and videos he had of tk doing stupid shit which he had a few of because tk would often steal his phone to take a video or send Carlos a video of him eating a orange or something to make him laugh it was stuff like that that made Carlos happy is when he saw the happy funny goofy Side of tk

Tk sat at the counter eating some banana with peanut butter " what's with you and bananas what are you a monkey ." Carlos laughed " don't tease me ." Tk laughed " what's with you and your ketchup are you -" tk took a pause " I didn't think that one through ." Tk laughed " ya think ." Carlos laughed
" tk did you break the toaster again ?" Carlos laughed as tk bit his lip " that's the 5th time this week Ty ." Carlos laughed " in my defense it never works for me it's messed up I swear ." Tk laughed "i love when you get flustered over your appliances ." Tk laughed

Carlos and tk sat on the couch watching a show together as tk laid on Carlos's lap " we should get a dog ." Tk said looking at Carlos " you don't like cats ." Carlos laughed "I don't know they - they -" the fact that tk was stuttering let Carlos know the situation "oh my god your a Afraid of cats aren't you ." Carlos said pausing the show " I am entitled to my fears ." Tk laughed sitting up Laughing " yeah but cats turtles fish I can maybe understand but cats." Carlos laughed " leave me alone I had a really bad accident with a cat when I was ." Tk said before turning around biting his head in the wall Tk just broke out laughing " Carlos I hit my head ." Tk whined laughing coming back to the couch " my little idiot ." Carlos laughed

Tk and Nancy just finished up treating a patient Carlos could have rolled out before they were done but he wanted to catch tk before they left Nancy and Tommy were talking to the mother so tk had a minute or two before they could go " your fucking tease really ." Tk laughed as he hopped in the back of the ambulance as Carlos leaned against the med truck " what do you mean strand just doing my job ." Carlos laughed "you know what I'm talking about the damn picture of your ass Carlos ." Tk said shaking his head " you said you needed a pick me up ." Carlos smirked " I meant coffee ." Tk laughed shaking his head " well your gonna get a pick me up later when you get home and I pick you up and slam you against the wall." Carlos said and he knew what he was doing " the handcuffs might even make and appearance who knows ." Carlos smirked as tk hopped out of the truck " see you later officer love you ." Tk whispered as he gave Carlos a kiss before heading back get the rest of their equipment
*back to reality*
That that all those times when the two were just being them laughing joking being clumsy flirting with one another on calls makes him even more sad when he looks at Tk's hospital bed and just like that it was like the clock struck 12 Tk's monitor flatlined Carlos sprung from his chair as the nurse rushed him "what's happening .." Carlos said " what's happening !" Carlos said " sir we're gonna need you to exit the room okay you have it give us some space ." The nurse said " he's my husband !" Carlos said as the doctor put him in the the hallway " we're gonna do everything we can to save him but to do that your gonna have to stay out here ." She said closing the door Carlos looked through the window of Tk's hospital door seeing them shock him Carlos heat rate went back to normal when he saw that Tk's monitor was up and going again
