Judd and grace offered to take Willow for the day so that way tk could process and adjust to this new change before he went to New York for the funeral and to see his little brother

126 knew to give tk time and space before coming over to give condolences to tk so when there was a knock on the door of their home Carlos was confused but when he opened it to see his mother and father he wasn't surprised
"Carlitos." His mom said hugging him "Hi mom sorry for not stopping by in a bit ." Carlos said letting them in " nonsense you've been taking care of tk and that's all I could ask of you." She said "I and your father were going to get coffee but I protested and said we will go have coffee with our boys see how Tk's doing " you know your mother wears the pants in the family so I had no say ." Gabriel had said

Carlos makes coffee per his parent's request while his father talks about some big investigation going down at the Sheriff's office they ask Carlos about how he's feeling about his upcoming detective exam in a few months he tells them that he feels confident in it and that tk was helping him prepare Andrea was about to respond when tk appeared at the steps "hey babe .." Carlos says as tk stands in the staircase "my parents just stopped by to say hi and see how we're doing would you wanna join ? .. I can make more coffee " Carlos said "oh." Tk said as he looked at Carlos and his parents. " hey there .." tk said as Carlos's parents looked at him "I'll make you a cup ." Carlos said "um no ..no ..I should .." tk said swallowing hard on his own words as he struggled to get them out " it's good to see you guys um -." Tk said his Voice-breaking Carlos was on his feet heading over to Tk's side rubbing his hand " I should um ." Tk said " I should go pack .." tk said heading back up the steps leaving Carlos's hand empty Carlos hears their bedroom door shut softly

"He might not be ready for guest yet carninò." Andrea said "You should talk to him, Carlitos. He is hurting, that much is clear, and he needs to know you love him and you'll support him through this." Andrea said rubbing her son's shoulder Carlos would hope that tk would know that after everything they had been through the fire, Tk's lung surgery, his brain tumor, them both getting shot, Tk's and the paramedics kidnapping, his dad's cancer. That Carlos was there if tk needed him but saying it once more might get tk to finally come clean and let his mind go to peace "I'll be back." Carlos said

He walked into the room seeing tk looking all over through the drawers and closet "I can't - Carlos have you seen a hoodie anywhere ?" Tk said which dissent makes it very clear cause tk has many hoodies "a purple hoodie Carlos ." Tk said as he looked through Carlos's underwear drawer " I don't know not that I can recall babe-" Carlos said as looking through drawers " I need it .." tk said, " I need to find it ."He said once more "please stop baby." Carlos said holding Tk's shoulder but tk brushes him off heading back to their closet looking through his hoodies that were hanging up " tk please cmon can you just - Tyler ." Carlos said as tk turned to face him by the use of his first name " don't ." Tk said taking deep breaths as he runs his fingers through his hair " tk I love you and I wanna help you but to help you I need you to sit and calm down for me and tell me why you need this hoodie so badly ." Carlos said

"You don't get it ." Tk said rummaging around the room some more " but I can if you sit long enough to tell me ." Carlos said, " you won't get it, Carlos ." Tk said once more going through the same drawers in hopes of finding his hoodie "well you can't be sure if you won't tell me ." Carlos said, " my mom gave it to me it was the last gift she gave to me you can't possibly understand when your mom is sitting downstairs right now when all I want to see is my mom ." Tk's said and that's when tk broke like a pile of freshly swept leaves tk had been blown over with a leaf blower split into a million pieces

"Oh baby ..". Carlos said

"I need her Jonah needs her! She's gone and I didn't even get to say goodbye I haven't seen her in months and I'm her son that's horrible and now I'm supposed to go New York and see her dead body be lowered into the ground .." tk said crying Carlos had never heard tk cry like this ever that just goes to show how bad this hurt him "it's okay to feel like this .." Carlos said holding Tk's as his head dug into the crook of Carlos's neck as Carlos held him tightly " I've got you and I'm never letting your go ." Carlos said and for once Carlos realizes what tk needs

Not god to clear the storm clouds but for tk to have a partner to guide him through the storm to see the light on the other side...

After a while, Carlos and tk make their way downstairs Carlos is surprised to find his parents on the couch " sorry ." Carlos said As Andrea got up off the couch as well as his father

"I know I'm not your mother tk and correct me if I overstep my ground by I'm not trying to take her place but I'd like to hug you for me and her .." Andrea said wrapping her arms around her son in law " thank you .." tk said as Carlos saw a few tears fall down his face

At that time Gabriel take his arms to Carlos's shoulder "you never stop grieving for someone you have lost Carlitos but with time it gets easier tk will start to think of her less, and he will start remembering the good moments they had together rather than the bad moments, the pain will fade and the sky will open and he will make it through ." Gabriel said " he can't do that yet dad .." Carlos said " not yet son but someday he will you just have to keep faith .." Carlos Gabriel said wrapping his arms around his son
