Sedative ch.6

Carlos did what he promised tk he went home he got a shower ate something got a coffee or two and slept a few hours he Came back to the hospital before Tk's scheduled time for his surgery

He walked into Tk's room seeing tk give him a small smile "hey .." tk strained to say but got it out "hey your voice sounds worse than it did yesterday what happened" Carlos asked stroking Tk's hair " bi-big-bigger" tk said pointing to the tube Carlos got the message tho

" hold-" tk said giving Carlos the ring Carlos gave him "for- me." Tk choked out placing it into Carlos's hand " baby keep it on .." Carlos said tk shook his head before coughing once more some blood going into the tube " please.." tk said " okay but the second you get out of surgery it's going back on your pretty little finger where it belongs .." Carlos said

"We're gonna take him back .." one of the nurses said "okay one second ." Carlos said. Carlos held out his pinky as tk wrapped his own around Carlos's
"I love you .." Carlos said kissing his end before tk kissed his "l-love ." Tk croaked out "you to ." Tk finally said they rolled tk back as Carlos waited in his room he twiddled with Tk's ring before sliding it onto Tk's 252 pendant which the nurses gave him when tk was admitted he put the 252 necklace in his neck and tucked it under his shirt until he could put it back on tk

And than he anxiously waited for a update anytime they said it was a 4 hour surgery it was 4 hours 11 minutes and 16 seconds and nothing what's taking them so log Carlos thought to himself as he waited anxiously that was until tk was finally back in his room he had the tube out if his neck finally but he was unconscious due to the anesthesia they gave him Carlos got up sliding Tk's ring back in his finger and putting his necklace around Tk's neck gently

" how did the surgery go ?" Carlos asked " the surgery went okay he can go home tomorrow night ." The doctor said "okay ?" Carlos said " he crashed quite a few times We had to revive him and give him some blood ." She said " but everything else went good right ?" Carlos said worried " yep his stitches are inside so you can't even tell ." She said " so we gave him a sedative tonight just so he can get some sleep without pain. But he will be off work 3 weeks from work sleeping won't be comfortable tk say the least but sleep is a major thing in his recovery he needs to get at least 8 hours if not more .. he can't be straining himself no lifting nothing like that and He will need his bandage changed everyday either day or night whatever's more comfortable.. and just keep a eye on his breathing if he starts not being able to breath or you here a slush take him to a doctor and don't be surprised if he gets light headed or just randomly falls asleep it comes with the recovery." She said " okay thank you ." Carlos said
