Hours ch.27

Tk made the bed and got a shower and brushed his teeth and then got dressed in some clothes until he had to get ready for work later but he got a piece of paper writing down stuff for Carlos

1) I will be home at 6:30 am so I'll be home by the time you wake up

2) your meds are in the nightstand (Only two ) if the pain gets to bad take with one of the snacks I left for you in the nightstand

3) if you have to go to the bathroom please be careful use your crutches ( right next to you the bed .) nice and slow please

Tk put the list on the nightstand grabbing a piece of fruit some of Carlos's favorite crackers and a lunchable for Carlos incase he got hungry during the time he was fine putting them in the nightstand along with Carlos's meds

Tk saw the banana on the bed he wasn't hungry so he just put it with the things Carlos could have if he was hungry tk would usually sleep for a few hours before a overnight but he had stuff to do and that was more important than some sleep

Tk came back downstairs "okay your all set up ." Tk said giving Carlos a smile " joy ." Carlos said laughing " do you think your gonna be okay or do I need my dad to come over and check on you ? When I'm gone ." Tk asked washing the dishes " I'll be fine I promise babe you should get some sleep if your gonna work overnight tonight ." Carlos said " I will I promise just later ." Tk said forcing a smile

"Baby your doing it again .." Carlos said " doing what ?" Tk asked " you do this thing where you try to help everyone to mask the fact that your not helping yourself your gonna be tired later if you don't get some sleep Please go get some ." Carlos said

"I can sleep at the station I'd rather be here now with you since I have to leave you alone later ." Tk said drying his hand " Tyler ." Carlos said "Fine an hour ." Tk caved " what are you gonna do ?" He asked Carlos " I'm gonna sit there and watch you to make sure you actually are ." Carlos said " and I want you to sleep in the bed I'm not going to sleep so you don't have to worry about getting kicked and your not gonna hurt me before you make excuses I feel bad that you can't sleep in the bed at night ." Carlos said " let's go ." Tk said helping Carlos up

Carlos sat up as tk laid down in bed " wake me up if you need anything ." Tk said "promise me ." Tk said looking at Carlos " I promise ." Carlos said "now get some sleep ." Carlos said as tk set him timer for a hour tk laid down closing his eyes as Carlos stroked through his hair with his good hand "love you " Carlos whispered " love you to ." Tk said

Before Carlos new it tk was asleep so Carlos took Tk's phone turning off his timer he wanted tk to actually get some sleep he knew what time tk would have to get up which meant he could get much more then a hour which is what he needed good sleep Carlos watched tk sleep as each breath entered and exited his body Carlos liked watching tk sleep he liked to see that even though tk had a lot going on and a lot of stuff he could still find peace
