Tk got home seeing Carlos in the kitchen as Ellie played with Bailey outside
"Hey work keep you later ?" Carlos asked smiling at tk from the kitchen " I actually went to therapy ..I hope that's okay ." Tk said coming into the kitchen "Ty I told you whatever helps ." Carlos said "everything okay ?" Carlos said as tk wrapped his arms around Carlos "thank you ." Tk said as Carlos cut vegetables
" for what ?" Carlos asked " for being you for being me through the last month .." tk said sitting on the counter " I told you were a team I'm never going to leave me alone your going to get sick of me ."Carlos said making tk laugh " I doubt that ." Tk laughed
"Wanna help?" Carlos asked " as long as it has nothing to do with the toaster ." Tk said as Carlos shook his head " no I think your good ." Carlos laughed as tk hopped down from the counter joining him " so how she doing ?" Tk asked looking out the back door seeing Willow playing with Bailey " I think she's really happy ." Carlos smiled " I swear she's a good hole knew kid form the one I met in that grocery store." Carlos said "what do you think about starting-" Carlos said pausing "it's okay if you -" Carlos said " babe ." Tk said turning facing him " I think we should ." Tk smiled as Carlos pressed a kiss against his for head " daddy your home !" Willow said running in as tk picked her up " hey kiddo how was school?" Tk laughed " good I have math homework I need help on ." She laughed " you told me you were done your homework." Carlos laughed " you suck at math papa ." Willow giggled " she isn't wrong babe." Tk laughed " you both as so rude to me you know ." Carlos said " go get your homework and we'll work on it after dinner okay monkey ?" Tk said
Tk paused as he looked at there donning room seeing his mom sitting there "I will always be by your side ." She said standing up walking over to tk "but the steps you take from here are yours just know that I will always love you my sweet boy ." She said hugging her son "tk ?" Carlos said snapping tk out of his trance " hm?." Tk said " you okay ?" Carlos said walking over resting his hand on his shoulder " yeah ." Tk's said with a smile
Gabriel was right tk may not get over his grief right away it is going to take time but it won't always be sad moments that he remembers with his mom and more of the happy ones like them baking cookies together or the family dinners it would take time and hell it's gonna hurt but tk had Carlos and his dad by his side and he would get through it
"I'll be back ." Tk said heading to the front door as Carlos watched him tk sat on the steps looking at the sky " I love you mom ." He said
