Carlos walked back to the waiting room seeing Owen nursing a coffee "we can see him now ." Carlos said

"Go see your boy I'll meet up with him later ." Owen said " Owen your his dad you can go ." Carlos said " and your gonna be his husband in a few months I'll wait in gonna get some coffee update the team ." Owen said " thank you ." Carlos said

Carlos headed to Tk's room seeing a tube in his neck to help him breath he sat next to tk "hey.." tk whispered groggy because of the tube in his neck
"Sweetheart you shouldn't be talking it's gonna hurt ..." Carlos said stroking his hair out of his face "no ..op-" tk got out before letting out a little whine
"Opioids.." tk got out before holding his neck in pain "baby here use this don't hurt yourself ..." Carlos said handing him a notepad

Tk wrote on the note pad "how bad is it ?" Showing it to Carlos " it's not that good I'll explain when your out of surgery tomorrow.." Carlos said " I'm just so glad your okay I thought -." Carlos said starting to cry to put down the notepad running his thumb underneath Carlos's eye wiping away the tears " do- don't cry." Tk croaked out in pain

"Promise me you'll go home and get some sleep a showers and eat something and come back tomorrow please .." tk strained tk get out but Carlos knew what he was trying to say "I'm not leaving you Ty.. I'm not gonna miss your surgery ." Carlos said "I'll see you after I promise just p- ro- promise me you'll go h-o-Home ." Tk managed to get out as some blood got sucked up the tube tk held out his pinkie to Carlos Carlos wrapped his pinkie around Tk's kissing his side "promise .." he said " can I just stay until you fall asleep ?" Carlos said as tk nodded tk was about to say something before Carlos hushed him " don't hurt yourself baby .." Carlos said as tk rubbed Carlos arm
