"Travis?" I asked again, trying to calm my crazed nerves.

I was face to face with this beautiful stranger who happened to be my wolf.

"Krystal." He said in a deep voice but with the air of exhaustion seeping in.

"Oh my God of God's. It actually worked. Like, your a real man. A human man." I stated in disbelief.

"Umm.. yeah..." He said matter of factly.

I mentally face palmed myself. Of course, that was obvious, he was sitting right in front of me.

I must look like an idiot to this guy.

I watched him for a moment before saying anything.

He was even more beautiful as a human. I didn't even think that was possible.

He had that James Dean look to him.

His dark black hair was messy and toussled, probably from shifting into a human.

His feautures were sharp and defined. His nose fit just right atop his perfectly pouty lips that were shaped like cupids bow. His face was littered in dark stubble, which outlined his razor straight jawline.

He was simply gorgeous. Right out of the movies. Someone like me should not be sitting next to a creature this beautiful; human or wolf.

The fire was still blazing but Travis was shivering.

He wrapped the blankets around his body tighter and I could see his teeth chattering.

"You're still cold." I stated, rather than asking.

"Yes. It's not normal for me to be out here in the winter as a man. Naked none the less, fighting my wolf gene."

"Wait. What? You don't have clothes on?" I asked stupidly. My cheeks turned tomato red just thinking about the naked boy next to me.

"Umm... yes...Did you think I had clothes on underneath my wolf body?" He said with a laugh.

The skin around his eyes and nose crinkled when he laughed, and I thought I may just die right here and now from his killer beauty.

I was completely mortified...

"Ermm...Well now that you mention it, no, that wouldn't make sense... But I honestly hadn't given it much thought. Because I didn't even think this was plossible. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?" I was starting to ramble, and probably sounded crazy.

"Listen, I know you have a lot of questions, but I don't have a lot of time. If I stay out here in the cold I won't be able to fight it much longer. I will turn back to a wolf. It hurts to fight this hard." He said while his shoulders shook violently.

"Well, lets say you went inside, where it's warm, maybe under more blankets; will it be easier to fight?" I asked.

"Yes." He stated.

"Okay, then we go inside." I replied.

I stood up in my flannel nightgown and looked down at myself.

God, I am so dàmn lame, I need to start preparing to look nicer when I visit my wolf at night.

My wolf, who is now next to me as a HUMAN MAN!!! WHATTTT???

Okay, pull it together Krys. He's just a normal guy who happens to turn into a wolf when it's cold...

NOO... HE'S A GUY WHO TURNS INTO A WOLF WHEN IT'S COLD!!

A REALLY SEXY GUY!!

I just can't.

I managed to pull it together in about 30 seconds, because when I looked back down he was just about to stand up.

I extended my hand for him to grab, and when he put his plam in mine I was surprised by jolting sparks, shocking me all the way down to my toes and back up.

I jumped at the feeling, causing me to let go of his hand and stutter out, "Oh, I was ummm.. shocked..." I said as Travis looked at me.

"Yeah... a shock." He replied coolly.

That confused me, but I just led him around to my side door and walked into the kitchen.

My house was dark, everyone was fast asleep, oblivious to the fact that I had a naked wolf man in the house.

"Would you like a cup of tea?" I ask.

"Sure." He replied.

"Well, what kind? I got earl grey, green, Irish breakfast, lemon ginger, Chai." I looked up from the cubbard to look back at him.

In the dim lighting of my kitchen he looked out of place.

His tall muscular body was wrapped in my old wool blankets. His hair was messy and sticking in all different directions.

He was wild and mysterious. But he was my wolf.

No. What was I thinking, he's not mine. He's a boy, well a man really, who turns into a wolf. But he isn't mine.

"I'll have green, thanks." He finally said in his deep voice.

Getting to hear his human voice was just like hearing the howl of his wolf.

Deep, a little scary and mournful. Like he was filled with power, sorrow and emotion. Both sounds sent shivers down my spine and housed rambunctious butterflies in my tummy.

"Coming right up." I said cheerfully as I stood up and went to the tea kettle and turned on the stove.

I turned around to look at him again. Partially gaping at him, still in shock from what had just occurred outside.

"Are you still cold?" I asked.

"Umm yes I am, actually. I don't know how long I can fight it. I just turned back tonight. I'd been fighting my wolf for days, and I finally gave up tonight... Because I wanted to see you." He explained. He looked me straight in the eyes which sent chills through me. He didn't shy away from being bold.

Embarrassed, I looked down at my toes and said, "Oh wow. So that's why I haven't seen you in days."

He sighed, and walked closer to me, "Yeah. Sometimes it's just easier. To think. As me." He said sadly, still holding my gaze.

My heart beat picked up and stared to race.

I wasn't sure what to say to that so I just turned back towards the stove and concentrated on making his tea.

I poured some honey and a pinch of sugar into cup and waited for the kettle to boil.

I was alerted by the high pitched chirping of the pot. I poured the boiling water into his cup and handed it to him.

"Thank you." He replied as he reched his hand out to grab the cup.

When the tips of our fingers touched, I felt the same spark that left my body warm electrified.

This time I didn't pull away. I savored the feeling.

"Oh, weird..." I said under my breath as a I shook my head. "Static electricity... Maybe?" I continued to mumble.

Travis kept his and on mine a moment longer as he laughed heavily "Yes. Maybe it's static..." He smiled mischievously, as if he knew a secret one one else knew, as he took a sip of tea.

The warm liquid seemed to making his teeth chatter less, but I could tell he was still cold.

"Follow me." I said.

His brow furrowed as if he was confused, but he walked away from where he was leaning on my kitchen counter and followed me into my laundry room.

I turnd on the bright flourescent light, which was an extreme contrast to my dim kitchen lighting.

I still hadn't turned to look at him as I said, "I can tell you're still cold. Let me find some of my Grandpa's clean clothes, they might be a little tight, but it's better than freezing, right?"

"You don't have to do that." He said.

"Sure I do. Your feezing, and I can do something to help you." I replied as I turned around.

I was not prepared for the sight of his luminecent blue eyes that seemed to be glowing in the stark white light of my laundry room.

"H..H..Here." I stuttered as I handed him a pair of my Gramp's baggy sweat pants and sweatshirt.

I was completely star-struck by his wild beauty.

I turned quickly around so he could put on the clothes I handed him.

He chuckled his deep hearty laugh, I blushed uncontrolablly thinking about the incredibly hot naked man getting dressed behind me.

I could hear the blankets drop to the floor, and the rustle of clothing being put on. It took everything in my power and every once of my control to resist turning around to take a peek.

"Alright. You can turn around now." He said with laughter still hanging onto his deep voice.

My Grandfather was bigger than me and the rest of my family, but not bigger than Travis.

He stood over 6 feet tall with a lean, muscular build. Not too jacked, where it looked creepy, but just the right amount of tone and definition that would make any girls mouth water with desire.

The clothes clung to his body and hugged every muscle and curve of his so tightly like it didn't want to let him go.

"Okay. Well. Are you warmer yet?" I choked out, still in awe of his immaculate body.

"More than I was before. Thank you." He said with a smile.

Oh god. His smile. It was like... he was Lucifer here to tempt me into eating the apple.

"Ummm... Well.... okay... good..." I said as I cleared my throat awkwardly searching for the right words.

I mentally scolded myself for being so dàmn weird and awkward.

"Would you maybe like to lay down in my bed? I have a heated blanket and a space heater upstairs. It might make you warmer. And I can sit in the chair. So you can sleep in the bed. And we can talk if you want. We'll have to be quiet though, my whole family is sleeping. And..."

I was cut off by his finger on my lips. His touch was electrifying.

My eyes widened and stared back at him in shock.

He smiled and replied with, "Yes, I'd love to. You can stop babbling now," He finished with a light chuckle.

Ohhh myyy Godd. I'm going to die of embarrassment.

He took his finger away from my lips and reached down to take my hand in his.

What. The. Actual. Fúck.

When did holding my wolf's hand become a thing?

Well I'm seriously not complaining, I'm just in a state of confusion and shock.

He intertwined his fingers with mine, and actually took the lead through my house like he knew where he was going.

What the heck?

How does he know where he's going?

He led me through the dark carpeted hallways of my house and up the back staircase that wound up to the second story.

From there he turned down the hallways which led to my room and stopped at my door.

How. What. Did he find my room?

Was it a lucky guess?

I mean I have as pretty big house and when it's dark out it can get a bit confusing.

But he led me up here like it was nothing.

This Travis the wolf guys was gonna have some explaining to do.

I stepped in front of Travis and pushed through the hanging beads at my door frame and opened my the door to my room leading him in behind me.
