As Elijah went to pour some alcohol into a glass and Annabelle was taking a sip out of her own glass, Klaus said to them, "Seems rather uncivilized— to laugh and dance around the body of a loved one."

As Elijah went to close the bottle he was using, he replied, "Yes. Far better to practice your process of grief, Niklaus. Denial, rage, and hoarding coffins in basements." While he turned to look over at Annabelle, he said, "Or in Annabelle's case, just going around and killing every single person in an entire city or village."

While Annabelle only rolled her eyes in response, Hayley went to sit at the same table as the Originals.

And not long after Hayley let out a sigh, Elijah said to her, "I will warn you, Hayley, Niklaus is in a spectacularly foul mood today."

Klaus replied, "Sod off."

With a wave of his hand, Elijah said to Hayley, "And the way Annabelle's been acting lately hasn't done much to help with the matter."

While Annabelle slowly turned her head to look over at Elijah with narrowed eyes, Hayley asked Klaus, "What's the deal with these moonlight rings? Oliver's trying to start a revolution every five seconds. People are scared, angry. And, frankly, I'm tired of stalling."

Klaus replied, "It's a day of peace, Hayley. Try and enjoy it. And in the meantime with all manner of unknown enemies conspiring against our family, you'll move back in with us."

In response, Hayley said to him, "Awesome. Then we can do that thing where you lock me in the tower, I escape, there's drama, and then the three of you realize that I'm very capable of looking after myself."

Klaus told her, "The rings are in progress. I will live up to my word. We will find and punish whoever launched the attack on the Bayou. And you will return to the compound for your own safety. But right now, I'm gonna finish this bottle... and the next in the hopes of drowning the demon that has chosen today to haunt me." With a raise of the bottle, Klaus said, "Cheers, Mikael. Impeccable Freudian timing."

After a couple seconds of silence, which involved both Annabelle and Elijah looking over at their brother with furrowed eyebrows, Elijah said to him, "Elaborate." After yet another couple seconds of silence, Elijah asked him, "Have you dreamt of our father?"

In turn, Klaus said to him, "Go ahead. Have a good laugh."

Elijah told him, "I can assure you there isn't a piece of this that I find even remotely amusing, Niklaus, especially considering I've been dreaming of him, too."

Before Klaus had the chance to respond, Annabelle said to Klaus, "I have as well."

While looking between his two siblings, Klaus said in a whisper, "What?"

Elijah told him, "If you and Annabelle are also seeing him..." Then he looked away from the table and over at Genevieve, who had just entered the bar, before he said to his two siblings, "Perhaps our elusive, unknown enemy is orchestrating a further attack."

Then both Annabelle and Klaus also turned their heads to look over at Genevieve, who had a smirk on her face as she stared over at their table.

In turn, Klaus replied, "Well, then what better way to punctuate a day of peace... than by killing someone?"

Not long after Genevieve had entered a store, she started to walk even further into the store when she heard some faint whispering.

It wasn't until she was nearing the back of the store that she turned around to see Klaus standing behind her, which got her to chuckle to herself before she said to him, "You disappeared from the party."

It was then that Elijah let out a sigh before he asked Genevieve, "Would you care to explain why you would choose to torment us with visions of our father?"

With furrowed eyebrows, Genevieve replied, "Your father?" After Elijah said 'mm-hmm', she told him, "I didn't. I-I wouldn't."

Not long after she said that, she heard another voice say from behind her, "Wouldn't you, though?"

While Genevieve quickly turned around to see Annabelle staring at her with her head tilted to the side and her veins on display, Elijah said to Genevieve, "Of course. How foolish of me. It must have been that other witch that's been parading throughout our house in scraps of lace."

Then Klaus said to Genevieve, "I know how talented you are with your tongue, Genevieve. Might I recommend you use it to provide answers? I would so hate to tear it from your mouth."

After looking between the three Originals, Genevieve told them, "As much as I enjoy these repeated accusations of wrongdoings, I don't know what you're talking about. But if all three of you have been seeing your dead father, I can try to get you answers."

After Klaus quickly moved towards her and Genevieve remained completely still as she waited for Klaus's next move, Klaus said to her, "Fine. Go."

Elijah started to say to him, "Niklaus, don't you dare—"

Without bothering to give his brother a single glance, Klaus said to Genevieve, "Go."

Just as Annabelle started to say something to Genevieve, she suddenly stopped when Klaus held a hand out to her and said, "Not now, Annabelle."

While Annabelle slowly started to tilt her own head as she stared at Klaus with narrowed eyes, Genevieve made a point of quickly leaving the store.

It wasn't until after Genevieve had left the store that Klaus said to his two siblings, "Neither of you trust her. And you're right not to. Only a fool would, but she certainly wants us to, doesn't she?"

Elijah replied, "Let me guess. There's something of benefit for you in all of this, isn't there?"

Klaus told him, "I need a witch to make those rings for the wolves. Perhaps we'll get both answers and cooperation."

After Annabelle watched Genevieve enter the room with narrowed eyes, Elijah said to the red-headed witch, Genevieve."

Genevieve told them, "I asked around. It's not just your father. The purgatory, where supernatural souls are trapped, is disintegrating."

While Annabelle slowly tilted her head and eyed the red-headed witch, Elijah asked Genevieve, "What do you mean, disintegrating?"

It was then that Klaus entered the room and said to his two siblings, "She's right, more or less. It's actually imploding. I made a call to a rather reluctant Bennett witch in Mystic Falls, who said the same thing... the dead are being torn away into nothingness. And they're not interested in going quietly."

While Annabelle started to frown to herself and started to wonder if the same would happen to Kol and Finn, Elijah said to Klaus, "So you're saying that our father, faced with permanent extinction, has decided to spend his remaining time tormenting us." After sighing to himself, Elijah said, "How delightful."

Klaus replied, "Well, on the plus side, we'll soon be rid of his abhorrent soul forever. And what a good riddance that will be."

It was then that Annabelle asked him, "And what of Finn and Kol? I mean, Finn might have been an ass and assisted our mother in the destruction of us before he was killed by Elena and her friends, but he doesn't deserve it any more than Kol does."

While Klaus only sighed in response, Genevieve looked away from Annabelle and over at Elijah as she asked him, "So am I in the clear, Elijah? Or is there a new conspiracy the three of you would like to threaten me over?"

Elijah replied, "Nothing springs to mind at this precise moment."

Genevieve said to him, "Oh, gee, thanks." Then she turned her back on Elijah and glanced over at Annabelle, who still looked rather upset over what could happen to her two dead brothers, Genevieve looked over at Klaus and told him, "I have to get back to the girls. Perhaps tomorrow after the funeral, you and I could spend some time together... alone."

Klaus said to her, "I suppose we'll have to see."

It wasn't until after Genevieve scoffed to herself in response and started to rather quickly leave the room, Elijah said to Klaus, "Please tell me you've designed a stronger method to control the witch than playing hard to get."

Klaus told him, "Well, I've always been partial to the classics."

After Hayley let out a single cough, Elijah asked her, "You alright? You look—"

Hayley replied, "A hundred months' pregnant and pissed off at the world?"

Elijah told her, "I was going to say 'you look lovely'."

While Annabelle only snorted in response, Hayley asked them, "Do you think I was the target of those bombings?"

Klaus said to her, "Of course you were the target. Were I to wager a war on the wolves, you'd be my first kill." As he raised up an arm, he told her, "I would string you up for all your worshipers to see."

While Annabelle only raised her eyebrows in response, Elijah told Hayley, "I believe that was our brother's way of telling you he'd like you to return home with us." Then Elijah said to Klaus, "Perhaps try a different approach, Niklaus, with fewer references to murder."

Then Klaus turned to look at Hayley as he said to her, "As much as I would hate to throw you over my shoulder and drag you kicking and screaming to the compound, we both know I will for the sake of my child."

Hayley replied, "One bad dream, and suddenly you want to be a responsible daddy."

After wrapping an arm around Hayley and pulling her closer to himself, Klaus told her, "Let me put this in perspective. My father lived to torment me. It is not my intention to become him. This cycle of misery ends with my child."

After forcing a chuckle, Hayley pushed his hand away from her as she said to him, "You forgot one thing in your attempt to plead your case. She's not your child. She's ours."

After Hayley quickly walked away from them with her arms crossed over her chest, Elijah said to Klaus, "Very heartfelt, Niklaus."

In turn, Klaus told them, "I bloody hate funerals."

With a roll of her eyes, Annabelle replied, "While I simply hate people and wish that they were all dead, even if they are human or supernatural. The less enemies this family has, the less likely we will have to defend ourselves from said enemies because of a certain half-brother of ours deciding to add onto the already incredibly long list of enemies we currently have."

Klaus retorted, "Oh, yes, because you hadn't managed to give us some new enemies on your own."

Annabelle said to him, "Well, at least I hadn't gone around doing the same things you had done for over a thousand years now."

Klaus replied, "Oh, no, of course not. You simply made that dreadful game of yours and forced others to watch as you murdered their entire family."

After sighing to herself, Annabelle said to him, "Well at least I didn't leave any potential enemies alive and killed them all, instead of letting their hatred for me grow each year they lived after turning them into vampires. I simply kept them human and killed the lot of them. You, on the other hand, wanted to torture them with the fact that they couldn't harm you and were un-killable, thus leaving them to feel rather murderous and wanting nothing more than revenge on you and whatever it is you had done to them."

And as the two siblings continued to bicker with one another, the most Elijah did was sigh to himself in response.

* * *

After entering the compound and pushing random objects off of a long table before putting Hayley on top of it, Genevieve told them, "I can help."

Elijah replied, "Don't you touch her."

With a raise of his hand, Klaus said to him, "Let her be, Elijah. She was a nurse."

Then Genevieve told them, "There's a spell I can do." Then she looked over at Klaus and said to him, "Klaus, get chamomile from your pantry."

After looking back down at Hayley, Genevieve said with a sigh, "She's trembling." Then she looked over at Elijah and said to him, "Your jacket, Elijah."

As he went to take off his jacket, Elijah said, "She's not breathing. I can hear the baby's heartbeat, but not hers."

While Genevieve reached down and placed a hand on the side of Hayley's neck, Annabelle simply knelt down beside Hayley and grabbed the hand that was closest to hers before she started to mutter a couple phrases under her breath that Elijah didn't bother to try and listen to.

* * *

While Annabelle continued to mutter the same phrases under her breath, Genevieve had a hand placed on Hayley's head as she started to mutter the enchantments to a spell.

It wasn't until Genevieve started to say it for a second time that Klaus rolled up his sleeve and bit into it before he pressed his bleeding wrist onto Hayley's mouth as he said to her, "Come on."

When Hayley made no movement to drink his blood, Elijah said, "She's still not breathing. It's not working."

It was then that Elijah grabbed a nearby table and threw it against the wall, which resulted in it breaking apart once it hit a wall.

* * *

Elijah said as he started to go towards Hayley and went to push Annabelle aside, "I'm taking her to a real doctor."

Genevieve told him, "If you move her from here, my spell will break. There won't be enough time to get her to a hospital."

Klaus asked her, "Will the baby survive if delivered now?" Then he quickly started to move towards Hayley as he said, "I'll rip it out of her myself."

While Elijah went to hold back Klaus, Genevieve said to Klaus, "Hayley will bleed to death."

With a sigh, Klaus said to them, "I won't lose that baby."

Elijah replied, "I won't lose either of them."

It was then that Genevieve resumed chanting once more and continued to do that for a couple more seconds before she looked between Annabelle and her two brothers as she said, "I know what to do. Get my bag— the gris-gris pouch. Now!"

* * *

As soon as Hayley opened her eyes and let out a gasp, Elijah quickly made his way over to her and said, "Hayley."

While Annabelle slowly pulled her hand away from Hayley's and stopped muttering her own phrases, Klaus said as Hayley started to sit up on the table, "You're alright, love. You're alright."

It was then that Hayley told them, "I saw him, and he tried to kill me." Then she looked over at Klaus and said to him, "I saw Mikael."
