Mikey's POV
"Kei, Kazu-chan, how's Fuyu-chan?" Y/n asked with worry while I hold her shoulder for comfort. The two lowered their head and had a bitter look on their faces.
"The doctor said that he had a flat heart rate in the ambulance, they managed to bring him back, and is now under surgery." Kazutora said and Y/n almost fell but I supported her.
"What about his mom? Did you inform her?" I asked
"We already called her, she said she's coming." Baji said as I helped Y/n sit down.
We were silent and waited, we were all exhausted from the fight. After a while, Takemicchi came and approached us.
"Mikey-kun-" He said but I cut him off
"He's still under surgery" I said and he looked worried. He sat down near us and everything was silent again, no one made a noise.

"Keisuke!" Chifuyu's mom called with worry. Baji went near her and support her.
"My son, where is Chifuyu?" She said with tears.
"He's still having surgery, Matsuno-san." Baji replied
"What happened? Why did he get hurt?" She asked
"We were in a fight... and he protected me." Baji said with guilt. She collapsed to the floor and cried.
"Oh, my son, he's the only one I have left. I couldn't take it if he's gone too." She said while sobbing
Baji went forward and bowed 90 degrees. "I'm very sorry, Matsuno-san, I was near him but I couldn't do anything." he said
Kazutora also came to her and bowed beside Baji. "It's also my fault for being distracted to notice someone attacking." He said
Takemicchi also bowed next to them. "Chifuyu-kun said that he got my back but I couldn't even help him. I'm also very sorry."
Y/n stood up and I came along with her, we both bowed at the same time next to the three. "We are also responsible for this incident, as his senior and friend we failed to protect him." Y/n said and Matsuno-san kept crying.
Y/n approached her and comforted her until she calmed down.

The surgery was finished and the attending surgeon came out of the operation room.
"How's my son?" Matsuno-san asked with worry
"The operation was successful and there are no complications. It's good that the knife wasn't taken out so there were no further injuries. We transferred him to the ICU for monitoring but his family can visit him now." He said and the room was filled with relief.
"Thank you so much, how about the expenses? How much do I need to pay?" She asked
"You don't have to worry about that ma'am. Someone already paid for everything including a private room for him to heal, all he needs to do is rest." The doctor said
"Who?" She asked
"It was from one of our new hospital sponsors." The doctor said with a smile.
"Please tell them that I'm thankful." She said and the doctor looked at Y/n who only looked away.
"Of course, but I'm sure they already know that. If you'll excuse me, I will be continuing my work. Please have a great day." The doctor said and left.
"Keisuke, don't blame yourself for what happened. I know that he wouldn't want you to blame yourself, that goes to your kids too. I'm glad that he has friends like you, thank you for apologizing earlier." She said and bowed.

Baji, Kazutora, and Takemicchi said that they're gonna stay for a while so we went ahead. When we were outside the hospital, it was already dark and cold. We were waiting for Akio-san to pick us up.
I looked at Y/n she was trying to hide that she was cold so I took off my Toman coat and let her wear it.
"Wha-" she said
"You're cold so don't hide it." I said
"But you are too" She said
"No I'm not" I firmly said
"Jiro, your literally topless, what do you mean no? It's almost winter." She said and gave back my coat and I pout.
"I was trying to be romantic, you know." I said and she chuckled.
"You can't be romantic if you get sick." She said hugged me. "There, we're both warm and it's romantic." She said as she buried her face to my chest with closed eyes.
"Are you alright?" I asked
"No" She replied
"What's on your mind?" I asked and she stayed silent for a while.
"I feel sorry for Kaede-chan." She said
"..."
"I know that you said I shouldn't blame myself for what happened but there's still guilt." She said
"..."
"If only I knew that "she" was making her move using Kaede-chan then I would've stopped her myself." She said
"I'll say this again, don't blame yourself. Blame me instead." I said and she looked up to me while still hugging me with a confused look.
"Why?"
"Because I pushed her away after coming back from the future, my anger for her future self got the best of me so I thought I did the right thing." I said and I looked up at the night sky.
"That's unfair if I blame you for that, I'm the reason for it anyways." she said and I looked back at her and we stared at each other before bursting into laughter.
"We won't go anywhere with this conversation" she said and I agreed. She suddenly picked up a leaf and showed it to me.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Let's just blame this leaf throw it away instead." She said with a smile and I laughed.
"How?" I asked and she blew the leaf and asked me to do the same. She put the leaf to the ground and suddenly stomped over it.
"There! The blame is gone so let's move on." She said and I ruffled her hair.
"Your so childish." I said with a smile.
"But your the same." She replied and we both laughed again.
We settled down after a while and hugged again because it was cold.
"Yome-chi (wifey)?" I called
"What is it, Danna-chi (hubby)?" she called in a sweet tone that made me blush. We just can't settle for one nickname so we agreed to use anything we can think of.
"Are you the one who paid for Chifuyu's expenses?" I asked
"It's named after me but technically it was papa." She said
"Hm?"
"He sponsored the hospital under my name so it's like I own a part of the hospital. He insisted to be a sponsor ever since I got hospitalized here." She said
"I see" I replied and we were silent again for a while.
"By the way, I'll go visit Kaede-chan tomorrow, do you want to come?" She asked
"I think I won't, she'll probably worry again if she sees me. Maybe next time." I said and she nodded.

After waiting for a while, Y/n fell asleep and I cradled her until Akio-san came. Surprisingly, my brother also came along.
"I'm sorry for being late, it was Shinichiro-san's fault." Akio-san said and my brother looked offended.
"What?! How is it my fault?" He asked
"You kept begging to come and blocked the driveway and clung unto the car for 30 minutes that's why I got stuck in traffic." She said calmly
"Well, if you just agreed to take me with you then we wouldn't be late." He replied but he got ignored and Akio-san looked at Y/n who was sleeping in my arms.
"Let me carry her, you probably are tired too." She offered but I declined.
"It's alright Akio-san, I don't mind at all. I'll never get tired if it's her." I said and she nod. She led the way to the car and aniki walked beside me while I carry Y/n.
"Your good with your words, brother. How about you teach me too so I can impress Aki-chan. She let me court her a while ago so I'm not wasting my chance." He whispered
"Really? That's surprising, good for you brother. Good luck" I said with a chuckle and catch up with Akio-san.
"Wait, hey!" He whisper yelled but I ignored him and continued to walk until we reach the car.
I sat Y/n down carefully in the back seat and sat beside her. I leaned her head to my shoulder and made sure she was comfortable. After a while on the road, I also fell asleep and my head was rested on her head.
