A/N: Sorry for making y'all wait for a week. I was busy streaming, studying and making edits. Specking of which we got a lot of concert clips. Katinys risked it all. Let's get Wonderland to 100M!!
"Captain, we've reached land." Mingi shouted at 6am.
"Ok, dock the ship. We'll get the weapons stocked and buy some garments for the ladies." Honjoong replied.
I got up due to the commotion in my male form and wanted to brush my teeth but I didn't have a brush. At least I took a nice shower. Mingi looked very excited to go to the town. I wanted to get to land too. I wanted to see how different this world was from mine. We were going to cook breakfast but Mingi told us not to. He said there was something special waiting for us on the island so we just went with it. We weren't having breakfast together so I didn't see Seonghwa thankfully.
"Come one hurry up, how long are you gonna take?" Mingi jumped.
"Just because you're going to see your parents doesn't mean we're excited too." giggled Yunho.
"So this is you hometown?" I asked.
"Yes. We don't need someone to stay in the ship for security since I'm pretty sure his parents will take care of it." said Wooyoung as we got down the ship.
"What do your parents do?" Minhee asked out of curiosity.
"My mom's the Mayor of this town so as long we're in the sea side, we're safe." answered Mingi.
We walked on the streets of Pidal. That was the name of Mingi's hometown. Saying has it that there's a red mood every month which is why the town came to be known as Pidal; Pi meaning blood and Dal mean moon. Still curious about how the author-nim knew such little korean a day ago but now knows about blood moon and stuff. It is possible that they wrote this over the time of a month or so or they may have been taking Korean lessons. Not my problem.
We were at the market place buying things. I bought 2 white shirts, 1 red shirt and 3 black pants, you know the ones that come just below the knees. Full length would be a hassle if I had to wear them in female form. After buying these dailies I finally found the 'it' outfit. It looked exactly like the outfit San wore in the Answer MV. Wait, Answer was out? Ok, anyways I bought that too. I wanted to buy the same for Hojung since it would suit his hair but I just gave up since I felt bad for their savings. I decided to give the outfit to Hojung anyways.
I went to look for Hojung and I found him talking to Seonghwa.
"I'm sorry about yesterday." Seonghwa said. "I was drunk."
"Did something happen yesterday?" Hojung asked.
"You know, the thing."
"Which thing?"
"The kiss."
"Ohh, I see."
"Please accept this as an apology." Seonghwa said handing over a hair band.
"You really think you kissed me, do you?"
"Wait, I didn't kiss you?"
"No, of course not. Why was that your first?" he chuckled.
"Then who was it?"
"Minsoo"
"You're lying."
"No I'm serious. You should be lucky you're alive."
Yes, he should be very lucky he's alive. He still thought that was Hongjoo. I was beyond hurt. I took the outfit in my hand and went to San. I linked my arms with him. I don't know why I did that.
"What're you doing?" said a startled San.
"I'm just locking hands. It's not a big deal ok."
"Are you still sick about yesterday? I'm pretty sure he'll apologise. He's a nice guy despite what you think."
"I know."
"Wait, you know?"
"He's the quartermaster. He has to be liked by everyone. He's kinda voted for right."
"You do know pirate customs." exclaimed San.
"Not all. I've just read about some. You wouldn't believe what I saw."
"What? Did something happen?"
"Yes, Seonghwa apologised to Hojung. He still thinks that he kissed him yesterday. Am I that forgettable?"
"No! Don't think like that. He'll come back to his senses soon. We haven't had a lady in the ship for a while now so it's probably because of that."
"Don't call me a lady. Why me though? Minhee, Wonyoung and Sangeun are pretty cute too. Why did it have to be between me and Hojung-"
"They're here!" San jumped.
"Who?" I asked.
"ONEUS, they're Mingi's cousins. They're royals."
This just took Mingi as 7th member of ONEUS to the next level. They were in Lit's styling. They surely looked royal.
"Is Mingi a royal too then?" I asked.
"No, his mom left the royal family to marry the man she loved. He works as a main chef of one 'Songchelin Guide' and owns a franchise of restaurants with 3 branches on this island. Her siblings are still part of the royal family."
"So Pidal is a constitutional monarchy?"
"I don't what that means but if it means there's a royal family along with electives that represent the people and make laws with consent of the royal family, then yes. That's what it is." San answered.
"So he has 6 aunts who are royals?"
"No? King Lee had a son revealed to the public. Until a few years ago it wasn't revealed that the king had two more sons who went by the surname Son and Kim. So basically both ONEWE, ONEUS and Mingi together make up all the grandsons of the King."
"That's a huge family." I exclaimed.
"You aren't going to ask who is ONEWE?"
"ONEUS must've been the purer side of the family which means they're descendants of his son while ONEWE must be grandchildren from his daughters."
"Wow, you definitely have done your research." he smiled displaying his dimples again.
"What about Yeo?"
"Who Yeo? You mean Yeosang? I didn't know you guys were on nickname terms."
"No, I meant Yeo Hwanwoong. He's not part of the male side if the family. Why is he in ONEUS? Shouldn't Son Dongmyeong be part of ONEUS instead on ONEWE?" I asked knowing very well about the ONEUS and ONEWE line-up.
"I think you'll have to ask that to Mingi himself. I'm not sure." San said.
"Was someone talking about me?" Ravn asked.
"Hey Youngjo, supp?" Mingi went in for a hug. What's with character using their real names instead of stage names.
"I see my brother is doing something outside the boundaries of Pidal." said Leedo.
"Your new friends?" Hwanwoong asked.
Hwanwoong looked so good in person. He was shorter than me but very good looking. His ash fog hair and the semi traditional styling suited him so well. I mean the other members looked good too but just 'bias' things. Leedo ash blond hair stood out. Ravn's dark brown hair and Seoho's black hair stood out as they were the most normal looking colours. Xion's red hair omg, to see it in person was a whole new level. Keonhee though. That silver hair was soo attractive. I'm just weak for silver hair. Get a hint.
"Yes" I answered.
"Hello there ladies!" Ravn said.
I would have thought he was talking to me if Minhee didn't come forward.
"Hello" they said together.
"You've made a good set. Except for this man here." Leedo said pointing at San.
"Thanks." Minhee said holding Jongho back.
They took us to the restaurant. It looked like those traditional restaurants in dramas. If you've watched the Tale of the Nine-Tailed you'd understand what I mean. This was the main branch apparently and it was huge. It was filled with customers. I was just hoping that no one could identify San.
Piracy wasn't illegal in Pidal but San was declared a traitor by the Navy meaning he was a criminal. He may or may not need to face consequences. ONEUS were being nice by not snitching but you can't trust anyone in fan fictions. NEVER. They can turn sides any moment.
There were rows of dishes to choose from in the buffet. This is why Mingi told us not to eat breakfast. There was an entire feast prepared for us. Mingi had sent a letter earlier regarding our arrival. There was a special section just for us. Mingi's backstory is filled with flowers unlike us siblings. Suits him very much. I had an entire feast totally forgetting the part where I forgot to brush my teeth.
I went to wash my hands. That's when I realised that I forgot to brush my teeth. Seonghwa came in as I was drying my hands. He came in hiding something at the back.
"I'm sorry about yesterday." he said.
"Finally you came to your senses. Congrats!"
"This isn't funny. Here's my apology present." he gave the hairband.
"Tch, hairband."
Is it even an ATEEZ ff without a stray kids reference? I really thought there would be a stray kids cameo first before ONEUS.
"If you don't want it just tell me. I won't-"
"It's okay, it's great but I think Hongjoo deserves it. Not me. Do you really love her?"
"I don't know. There was something about him. I don't even know if I should use he or she for him."
"You want me to tell you something?"
"What is it?"
"Call him Hojung when he's around but call her Hongjoo when you're talking with me."
"So originally?"
"He's a girl."
Seonghwa just stared at me the way I look at my physics textbooks. Not blank but very confused. Something very contradictory but sensible at the same time.
"Let's just go out. I need to brush my teeth.."
"You didn't brush? Were you saving that kiss-"
"You wanna die?" I said as I left the washroom. Maybe I should've stayed to see his reaction.
Free food is the best food and no one can change my mind about that. I had no idea where the final destination. Seeing that there were Answer outfits in store, I'd safely assume they're on their Road to Wonderland. Is ONEUS on their Road to Kingdom? Guess we'll never know.
"I heard you have a twin Prince Son." I tried to make a coversation.
"You can call me Dongju, no need for the formalities and yes, Dongmyeong is my older twin by a minute."
"I have a twin too but I'm the older one."
"Do you ever think he's annoying?"
"Nah, he's like a wiser version on me so when he's with me I know I'm making the right decisions."
"We have very different opinions on twins then."
"Well, I grew up with four of them so I didn't really mind." I lied. Minsoo did grew up with 4 but I grew up with 2.
I found Xion the most relatable despite having a twin for only 1 day. We had a good chat. Leedo invited me to the market and I went shopping with him.
"How long have you known him?"
"Who? Mingi or-?
"The traitor"
"Aww don't say that. He's a nice guy who's got that right body and right mind once you get to know him."
"How long have you known him?"
"2 days" I shrugged.
"You say you got to know him in 2 days?"
"Well how long have you known him?" I asked as I picked a brush and a comb.
"That's a woman's comb." he said.
"I know. It's for my sister."
"Oh. You're sister's cute by the way."
"Which one?"
"The blue one."
So you're telling me he doesn't like San but likes Sangeun. Very plausible since they're very different people.
"I don't allow it."
"Why?"
"She likes San." I bluffed.
"Now that's one more reason I don't like him."
I giggled at his response. He really liked her or he was jealous of San. The latter didn't make sense.
"I said she likes San not San likes her. Why do you hate him already? Are you jealous that she thinks he's better than you."
"Shut up" he pouted.
Being the gentleman he is, he paid for the stuff I bought. I'm not even a lady but I'm just taking advantage of being the broke one here now.
"How is Hwanwoong part of ONEUS and Dongmyeong part of ONEWE?" I finally asked after gathering my courage.
"Hwanwoong was actually adopted by Dongju's mom before they had the twins so he's part of ONEUS. Hwanwoong is actually his maternal cousin but his parents died at a young age so Dongju's mom adopted him. He doesn't have royal blood but since he's adopted he's in. As for Dongmyeong is in ONEWE, he's just closer to them. It doesn't matter if it's ONEUS or ONEWE. At the end of the day, we're one." he explained.
That was probably the most explained explanation I have heard in this world. Leedo was definitely doing his job of bias wrecking me even in here. We soon had to part ways by the end of the day. Mingi's parents were really nice. His mom sounded like a diplomat, not that she wasn't but she sounded really smart and was really affectionate. She kept telling how much she missed Mingi and Mingi reciprocated it too. His dad had a cool aura. He kept relating everything to food and sometimes it made the situation awkward but it was fun. It's Song Yunhyeong, what do you expect? They're probably a casual fan of iKON.
We took our leave at the end of the day after restocking supplies after left for the next island. This visit made me appreciate the multistan side of me while Minsoo's backstory made me cry. I still don't know who is the Y/N but it's definitely not me since everyone has a crush on someone but that someone is never me or it's maybe because it's just the second day.
I could sleep peacefully and in this peace, I didn't realise that I started controlling my powers.
