Phil started humming a lullaby again and rocking him back and forth until he fell asleep
Phil put him back and tucked him in bed and went on doing his things. He looked at the time and it was already 1:30am, he decided to go to sleep since it was getting late
The sun started shining and Tommy's eyes started fluttering too. The sun hit his eye through a curtain crack which woke up him. He looked around and didn't know where he was, he cannot understand well and his vision is a bit blurry and he rubbed it off. His headspace was around 6-8 months and he didn't even notice he used the nappy Phil made him wore. He looked around again and saw Phil at the edge of the bed. He was scared and didn't know what to do and the sun was still hitting his eye. He started whining and flinging his arms a bit
Phil slowly woke up and hearing whines and hitting on the side of the bed. He looked over and saw Tommy whining which slowly turned to crying. Phil went closer and shushed while rubbing Tommy's back
"Hey shh, don't cry pumpkin. It's ok papa's here"
He said reassuring the boy, Tommy slowly stopped crying and instead looked at Phil now. Seeing how adorable looked he couldn't help but coo at him
"Hello sunshine good morning! Does someone feel small today buddy?"
Tommy nodded and babbled at Phil while pointing his little fingers at him. He just chuckled at the boy while he was touching his face
"Let me check your nappy for you bubs"
The boy felt embarrased and turned to the side not letting Phil check his nappy
"Come on sweet pea, don't be shy. Remember what I said? It's normal and if you don't let me check, you might get a rash. And it's gonna hurt"
When Tommy heard that he's gonna get a rash he stood still and let Phil check him
"Oh my, well someone needs a little changing"
The boy then turned red from embarrasment and hid his face behind Henry
"Aww don't be shy little one, c'mere papa's gonna change you so you won't feel icky"
Phil carried Tommy to the changing table and grabbed some nappy on the way. He layed the boy down and went to get the powder and wipes
He kept squirming around feeling uncomfy and shy around Phil. So he decided to get Henry and distract the boy
"Ooh look its henry munchkin! Peek-a-boo, ahh peek-a-boo"
He said while playing around and controlling Henry's legs to do a little dance. The boy giggled and grabbed Henry from Phil
"Hehe peek-a-boooo hehe"
He said babbling to it. Phil then hurriedly changed him and putting on a new nappy. When he's finished he put the boy's shorts back on and carried him again
"Let's go make some breakfast little guy, does cereal with chocolate milk said good?"
"Chockyy miwkk, I wan chocky miwkk!"
He said aloud which made Phil chuckle at the hyperness of the boy
"Ok ok! Can you walk by yourself?"
"Nuh uh"
Was the only words the boy said before nuzzling back at Phil's neck. He smiled and went downstairs to make breakfast for the both of them
"Come on toms, you have to let go or else I can't make our food"
"Nuuu don' wan tooo"
Phil sighed knowing he couldn't convince the boy to be left alone. He grabbed the paci from the cabinet and put it in Tommy's mouth to calm down
He then proceeded to make their breakfast while holding the boy in the other arm. It was like a workout for Phil, but luckily he finished with ease and started preparing Tommy's bowl and sippy cup. The boy was around 1-2 years now so he can manage to eat a bit on his own
Then Phil settled him down on the chair and started eating. He then noticed the boy not eating his food
"Don't you wanna eat your food bud"
Tommy shook his head and pointed at the spoon and into his mouth. Phil looked at the boy in confusion and he kept signaling the spoon to his mouth. Then he realized the boy wanted him to feed him
"Oh, you want me to feed you cupcake?"
"Mhm, buh I too shy"
Said Tommy while hiding behind Henty again. Phil couldn't help but give an audible awe at the boy and agreed
"Of course bubs, here. Say ahh"
"Ahhhh"
The boy said while opening his mouth as wide as he can. When Phil gave him the first bite he clapped his hands
"Yay! Was that good bud?"
"Yeshh 'apa"
Phil chuckled at the boy and continued feeding him. After eating he gave Tommy his pacifier and sat on the couch with Henry while Phil washes the dishes. This time, Tommy listened to not be carried anymore and wanted to watch cartoons instead
