While standing on top of a balcony, Marcel said to his nightwalkers, "And the first rule of fight night is, the vampire left standing at the end of the night is one step closer to the inner circle and one of these– a daylight ring. If you can impress me with a little ultra-violence, you too can enjoy the warmth of the sun on your face. All you got to do is kick a little ass." As the nightwalkers started to cheer some more, Marcel said with his arms open wide, "So here we go."
As the nightwalkers started to form a circle in the middle of the room, Marcel told them, "Our first two contenders– Felicia and Otto."
Not long after Felicia and Otto made their way into the circle, Otto backhanded Felicia across the face before he started to swing at her some more, only for Felicia to dodge his incoming attacks.
After Felicia started to make some attacks of her own, Otto grabbed her and threw her onto the floor.
After getting back up onto her feet, Felicia knocked Otto onto the floor face-first and turned him onto his back before repeatedly punching him in the face.
As soon as Otto pushed Felicia off of himself and stood back up onto his feet, Felicia wrapped her legs around his neck and let out yells.
Once Felicia was lying on her back, she twisted her legs, which resulted in Otto's neck being snapped before she tossed him aside with the use of only her legs and then stood back up with her arms held wide open.
With a nod of his head, Marcel said to her, "Damn, girl, not bad."
It was then that Klaus sped into the circle and snapped Felicia's neck from behind her, which got all of the nightwalkers to immediately stop cheering once they saw who was standing in the middle of the circle.
With a wave of his arms, Klaus said, "Good evening. I'd like a word."
Marcel asked him, "What do you think you're doing?"
As both Annabelle and Elijah started to make their way through the crowd of nightwalkers and into the circle, Elijah said, "It appears that we've interrupted a collection of filthy amateurs. We've come here for the girl. Give her to us, or... we kill everyone here. Starting with you."
After silently staring at them for a couple of seconds, Marcel said to them, "You three got a lot of nerve coming into my home and making demands."
After chuckling to himself, Klaus replied, "Your home, is it?"
As Annabelle slowly raised her head and started to clench her hands into fists, Elijah said to Marcel, "The girl. I will not ask again."
Marcel said to him, "I assume you're talking about Hayley– yay high, dark hair, bitchy attitude. Who is she, anyway?"
Klaus told her, "She's an old friend. You know how sentimental I am about old friends."
Marcel replied, "Well, I ain't got her, and before you start whining, I did pay her a little visit earlier tonight. I was feeling nostalgic. So I took a trip out to the plantation where I used to be a slave, and imagine my surprise when I realized that the Original family of vampires had taken up residence. Your girl Hayley answered the door. We exchanged hellos. That was it. You don't believe me, look around. Hell, I'll even help you find her. But the question that I'd ask is, if Hayley isn't here, then where is she?"

Elijah asked them, "Not the most attractive community, are they?"
Klaus replied, "You do realize they can hear you."
Elijah retorted, "You do realize I don't care."
While Annabelle only sighed in response, Marcel said as he started to walk towards the three Originals, "You know, Elijah, I liked you better in that box and I liked it much better when Annabelle wasn't even here." As Annabelle slowly tilted her head and eyed the much younger vampire, Marcel said, "But, Klaus, my sire, you I owe the world, and I always show respect to my elders. If your special lady friend is missing, you can benefit from the help of a witch, and since I control all the witches in this town, I'll grant you one little locator spell."
While Annabelle eyed the witch that was now standing beside Marcel, Marcel told them, "Sabine is the best guide in the Quarter. You need to find someone, I guarantee she's your girl."
Just as Marcel started to walk away from them, Klaus asked him, "Where are you going?"
As he turned to look back at the three Originals, Marcel said to them, "I hate to cut this short, but the sun's coming up soon. My nightwalkers need to get inside, and I've got a city to run. I'll leave you to track down your lost sheep."
While Annabelle stared after Marcel with her eyes narrowed and her veins starting to come onto display, Elijah asked Sabine, "Can you find her?"
With a shake of her head, Sabine said, "I can try."
It was then that Annabelle looked back at Sabine and said to her, "Oh, I'm sure you can do a whole lot better than just try, Sabine."
In response, Sabine did nothing but eye the unstable Original, who still had her veins visibly shown on her face.

With her arms crossed over her chest and her eyes narrowed, Annabelle watched as a trail of blood started to make its way across the map before it eventually stopped and Sabine told them, "She's in the backcountry, way out past Houma, deep in the Bayou."
Elijah said to her, "I don't suppose you could be more precise."
It was then that Klaus asked, "What's the matter, Elijah, you worried a bit of splashing about in the bog might ruin your expensive shoes?"
While Annabelle did nothing but sigh to herself in response, Elijah said to him, "As a matter of fact, after my recent confinement, I could use a decent stroll through the countryside."
Sabine told them, "There are stories of exiled werewolves, encampments. If Hayley went out that far, chances are, she went to find them."
Klaus replied, "Clearly, she hopes to make the acquaintance of more like herself. I suppose our company wasn't good enough for her."
While Annabelle slowly turned her head to look over at Klaus with a blank look on her face, Sabine simply eyed the young Original, who looked as if she was completely and utterly done with not just one but both of her brothers.
* * *
As they walked through the woods, Elijah said, "We should head south through the water."
It was then that Klaus said to him, "You seem quite determined to find the little wolf."
Elijah told him, "If I'm moving too fast for you, Niklaus, you're welcome to wait in the car. Do be certain to leave the windows down."
Klaus replied, "Ah, so I've touched a nerve. You've begun to admire this girl. Perhaps that's why you've been barking orders since your return, hoping to impress Hayley by assuming the role of family patriarch."
While Annabelle sighed to herself and crossed her arms over her chest, Elijah turned to Klaus and said to him, "If you want to insist on treating her like a walking incubator, then that's your mistake." After watching how Klaus raised his head and looked around himself, Elijah asked him, "Have you found her scent?"
It was then that Klaus looked back at Elijah and told him, "No... but I found someone else's."
Not long after that, the three of them came across an abandoned vehicle that had a jacket stashed inside of it.
While Klaus went through the inside of the vehicle, Klaus said, "This vehicle reeks of someone I thought I was rid of— Tyler Lockwood."
While Annabelle rolled her eyes as Klaus started to quickly walk away from them, Elijah asked him, "And why would your little hybrid sidekick from Mystic Falls have any interest in Hayley?"
As he turned to look back at his two siblings, Klaus told them with his arms wide open, "He wants revenge because I went after his girl."
Elijah replied, "Why do I suspect this is the least of your offenses?"
With a sigh, Annabelle said to Elijah, "Because when it comes to our darling half-brother, that is almost always the case."
While choosing to ignore Annabelle's words, Klaus raised a finger and started to walk back towards them as he said, "Back when I had the means to sire hybrids, he was my first, although I didn't give him much choice in the matter." After he hopped into the back of the car and started to sniff a blanket he'd just picked up, he told them, "He was loyal in the beginning, but he grew insubordinate, turned my other hybrids against me. I couldn't have that. So I massacred the lot of them. Tyler ran like a coward before I could finish him off."
As he took a step closer to Klaus, Elijah asked him, "Anything else that you would like to share?"
After glancing over at Annabelle and seeing how she was looking at him with an eyebrow raised and her arms crossed over her chest, Klaus told them, "Well, there was this business with his mum."
While Annabelle only sighed in response, Elijah said to him, "You killed his mother. Wonderful."
With a wave of his hands, Klaus replied, "He needed to be taught a lesson."
Elijah retorted, "And what lesson will you be taught, Niklaus, if he retaliates by harming Hayley?"
With a finger pointed at Elijah, Klaus said to him, "So you do care about her. Well, go on, then. Have at it, brother. Save her. Claim what spoils you can. I've sampled what she has to offer and, let me tell you, she is exquisite."
As he started to turn his head to look away from Klaus, Elijah said to him, "Niklaus, so help me—"
While Annabelle made sure to lean against the vehicle as she looked between her two brothers with raised eyebrows, Klaus said to him, "Enough. I'll kill Tyler Lockwood myself."
Then just like that, Annabelle and Elijah Mikaelson were standing by themselves with the abandoned vehicle and Klaus was nowhere to be seen.

While Annabelle silently eyed the messy state Hayley was currently in, Elijah said to Hayley with a tight grip on her wrist, "Forgive me. Thought you were in danger. It appears I was mistaken."
Not long after he said that, Hayley quickly wrapped her arms around Elijah, who wrapped an arm of his own around the pregnant werewolf, before Hayley said to the two Originals, "You two will not believe the crap day that I'm having."
Instead of responding, Annabelle simply eyed her surroundings to make sure Tyler was nowhere near them, while Elijah said to Hayley, "Let us take you home."
As soon as Elijah turned his back on Hayley, Hayley said to the two Originals, "Annabelle, Elijah... there's something you two need to know about the baby."
* * *
Hayley said to them, "Klaus must have known. That's the only explanation. He could care less about the baby. He just wants her to be born so he can use her to make more sired hybrids."
With a sigh, Annabelle told her, "If Niklaus had known that the blood of your child can make more hybrids, I'm sure he would have at least been doing his own version of leaping for joy before boasting to all his enemies about a secret weapon that none of them would have so much as the slightest clue about." When Hayley looked over at Annabelle, Annabelle said to her, "As much of a bastard as Klaus might be, using his own child to get some more sired hybrids doesn't seem like a thing for him to do."
After realizing that she couldn't get Annabelle to see through her own reasoning for why Klaus would want the child to be born, Hayley looked over at Elijah and said to him, "Although the way that Dwayne was acting, it was more like he was sired to me."
It was then that Elijah said to Hayley, "We should take you home."
Hayley replied, "Are you serious? Home to what?"
Elijah told her, "Look, regardless of our brother's intentions, mine remains the same. I said that I would protect you, even, if need be, from Klaus himself."
Hayley said to him, "I can take care of myself." After she stood up from where she was seated, she said as she started to walk past the two Originals, "I've done it for a long time."
* * *
As Hayley, Elijah and Annabelle started to make their way over towards where Klaus was standing, Klaus said, "There you are. I see you two found our wandering stray. Perhaps she could shed some light on the situation." As he went to kick aside a man's body, he told them, "This... would appear to be the body of a hybrid."
Hayley told him, "His name was Dwayne."
Klaus replied, "Well, whoever he was, I didn't sire him. Any idea how that's possible?"
Hayley retorted, "As if you didn't know."
Just as Hayley started to walk towards Klaus, Elijah quickly grabbed her by the arm and held her back, while Annabelle slowly started to walk away from the pregnant werewolf and her currently oldest brother.
After looking away from Annabelle, who was now keeping a distance from the three of them, Klaus said, "Ah... Aren't you two fast friends? Well, come on, then. What horrible accusation have you conspired to levy against me?"
Elijah told him, "Tyler Lockwood brought Hayley here to test a theory, that the blood of her child could be used to sire hybrids. He claims you knew that. Furthermore, you intended to use this knowledge to build an army."
Klaus replied, "And, of course, you assume it's true. I mean, why else would I show any interest in my own flesh and blood? A heartbroken, little crybaby points his finger at me, and my own brother falls in line, eager to believe it." As he gestured towards Annabelle, he said, "And you know, what's funny is that Annabelle has fighting me for just about every little thing for over a thousand years and yet, after spending an entire millennia fighting against me, she has chosen now to side with me, while my own elder brother chooses to side against me."
After he let his arm fall back down to his side, Klaus said to Elijah, "How quickly you assume the worst, especially when it comes from her."
Elijah said to him, "Oh, spare me your indignation. When have you ever demonstrated any kind of concern towards Hayley or her child, beyond your own selfish pursuits? And what was it you once said to me? 'Every king needs an heir'."
Klaus replied, "My big brother, so you doubt my intentions. Well, I can't say I'm surprised. Standing beside the noble Elijah, how can I be anything but the lesser brother— a liar, a manipulator, a bastard?" After he stepped off of the front porch and took a couple steps closer to Elijah, Klaus asked him, "That's all I am to you, isn't it, and to Rebekah, and judging by the way Hayley hangs on your every word, it's clear she feels the same way. No doubt, my child will, as well."
Elijah said to him, "Brother, if I—"
Klaus told him, "We have said all that needs to be said, brother." After raising his arms and slowly backing away from Elijah, Klaus feigned a pout before he said, "I'll play the role I've been given."
It was then that Klaus sped towards Elijah and suddenly bit into his neck, which resulted in Elijah starting to let out a yell, while Hayley yelled, "Klaus!"
While Annabelle stared down at her eldest brother, who was now lying on the ground, Klaus wiped his mouth with the back of his hand before he said to Hayley and Elijah, "You two enjoy each other's company. You'll have much to bond over once the hallucinations and dementia set in. Consider that bite my parting gift to you both."
Then Klaus quickly grabbed Annabelle and forcibly dragged her along with him, while he chose to leave Hayley and Elijah all by themselves deep in the Bayou.
