HARRY'S POV:

It's 5 and I let the girls go to lunch around 2. I've worked all day and the first thing I would like to do is go home. I have a feeling since they never came back, but Scarlett sent me her location that I won't be going home soon. Maybe I should have waited to introduce the two of them formally until I was present.. It is a Friday though so I suppose I should have seen this coming with Scar... She always loves Friday's.

I move to my car with Scarlett's things including the flowers I sent her today, and after I load up my backseat I get in on the driver's side, and pull out of the parking lot. I drive towards the location, and I realize it's only a few minutes drive, and it's a restaurant.. They still haven't left? I'm in so much trouble...

I park my car on the street and pay the toll, and walk to my backseat. I don't want to look completely out of place walking into this restaurant. I take off my suit jacket, and open multiple buttons of my shirt, making myself look a bit more approachable, and less like an asshole. I walk towards the doors, and right away I hear loud music, and as soon as I'm inside I look around and find the two people I'm looking for.

"Ladies." I walk to the table, and right away Birdie's eyes go a bit wide, and she sets down her drink, pushing it closer to Scarlett's side.

"It's fine, don't let him be a buzzkill." Scarlett pushes the drink back, and I shake my head.

"It is fine, I'm out of the office, I'm not your boss right now." I tell her and pull up a chair between the two of them. "Scar, are you okay?" I ask, looking at her, and she claps her hands.

"More than okay." I watch her hazy eyes and see a waitress coming with a shot for her, and I shake my head, knowing she's already had enough.

"Dammit.." I sigh, looking right at the waitress. "What is this?" I ask.

"Tequila, can I get you one?" She asks, and I shake my head, taking the shot from the tray.

"No thank you." I throw the shot back  it in front of Scarlett and Birdie, and steal my card from the table. "Put it all on this, and bring me the receipt love." I hand the waitress my card, and she walks away quickly.

"That was hot." Scarlett speaks out, and Birdie laughs.

"And you're drunk.. And cut off." I shake my head.

"Booo." Scarlett and Birdie both whine at me, and I raise my eyebrows, shocked to hear it from not only Scarlett but Birdie too.

"Would you like some cheese with your whine?" I ask the two of them, and Scarlett rolls her eyes.

"That was something a dad would say, don't be a dad. Be a daddy, and keep letting us have fun." Her words slur together slightly, and I shake my head, just from the state I can see her in right now.

"Not happening. Sierra is probably at home waiting for you, so I'm taking you home, and I'm calling you a cab Birdie." I tell her, and she shakes her head.

"I'll call a friend, no need." She smiles, and I already see a bit more confidence in her since I last saw her.

"Sierra isn't waiting for me, she's here right now." I snap my head to Scarlett, and furrow my brows. Scarlett looks to the bar, and I see her sister there, looking so much older since I last saw her. "SIERRA!!" I flinch at the sound of Scarlett screaming, and watch as Sierra's head turns towards the two of us. She looks confused until she sees me, and then she's moving quickly. Ahh finally a warm welcome. I stand up, and she crashes into me, hugging me around my neck.

"Hey little sis." I speak to her, and she squeezes me tight.

"Hey big bro.. I missed you." She laughs, and it brings me right back to two years ago, and makes my chest sink, knowing I wasn't here.

"I wish I could stay, but I'm going to take your sister home, will you be back soon or not?" I ask, and she lets go of me, shaking her head.

"I wasn't coming home tonight.. She should be fine on her own though." She tells me, and I nod.

"Send me your address so I can drop her off, yeah?" I ask, and she nods, taking her phone out.

"Stop talking about me like I'm not here!" She yells up to us from her seat.

"Oh hush." Sierra puts her hand in Scarlett's face, and I know that was a bad idea because "OWW! Did you just fucking bite me?" I smirk, knowing that was going to happen.

"You put it in my face, what was I supposed to do?" I watch as Sierra wipes the spit from her hand, and shakes her head.

"I sent it to you.. Don't be a stranger, we all need to hangout sometime." She smiles, and gives me a soft pat to my arm before walking away from me, and back to her friends.

"You're sure you're okay Birdie?" I ask her, and she nods.

"More than okay, my friend is coming to get me." She holds up her phone, smiles, and I nod.

"It's not her friend.. It's her more than a friend." Scarlett wiggles her eyebrows, and I shake my head. The waitress brings me my card back, and I reach out, taking Scarlett's hand, and lifting her out of the booth. She brushes herself off, and looks at me with a serious face.

"I can walk.." She states, before she moves one inch she pulls Birdie into a hug. "Bye bestie.. I'll see you soon. Tuesday night?" She asks, and I roll my eyes. Can't make time for me on a Tuesday can she? It doesn't matter. I nod my head, and she rolls her eyes, taking a step and stumbling as she walks in front of me. I shake my head, and take her hand, putting it around my neck. Right away I lift her up, and put her in my arms.

"You cannot walk, you're a liar." I shake my head.

"No you're a control freak.." She looks at me from my arms, and I look away from her, not liking the way that look makes me feel. That's what got us into this mess, me having feelings for her, and her not feeling the same.. I can't make her run away, I need to figure this out. Despite her lack of feelings for me, she's good company. She's a good friend. Same thing with Sierra. I set her down in front of my car, and open the door for her.

"In you go." I motion for her to climb in and she does. Instead of sitting down like a normal person though she throws herself in the seat with a loud groan. I close the door and shake my head knowing exactly how dramatic she can be. I walk to the drivers side, and once I'm in the car and it's on I'm moving, driving whatever way my GPS tells me. After about five minutes of traffic it's obvious Scarlett is bored because she won't stop fidgeting with every button in the car.

"Have you never been in a car before?" I ask, tapping my fingers against the wheel.

"Not a fancy one with this many buttons." She changes the radio again and again, and then she reaches over me and my windshield wipers are on.

"Alright, alright, enough." I take hold of her hand and softly move it from the my side of the car.

"You seriously are no fun. You're the epitome of a fun ruiner... Did you know that?" She asks me, and I nod.

"I'm fully aware." I sigh, I turn down back ways, and realize where I am, and I don't like it one bit. The GPS pulls me up to her place after another fifteen minutes, and I park on the street, and look up. She lives above this restaurant? That can't smell good...

I look over at her and right now she's swinging her head from side to side, and she's obviously too drunk to function. Last time I give her my card without supervision. I shake my head, and drive away from where I parked, and down the road. I don't feel safe leaving her here tonight while she's like this.

"Hey, that was where I was supposed to go." She whines.

"Not tonight." I speak under my breath, turning the wheel with one hand. I catch her staring at me out of the corner of my eye, and she doesn't stop once she sees me notice. "Are you looking at me for any particular reason?" I ask, and she looks away, swinging her head in another direction.

"You're hot when you drive." She tells me, and I feel warmth spread through my stomach.

"You also think I'm hot when I take a shot... I'm starting to think I'm only hot to you when you're drunk." She chokes on a laugh, and sighs, throwing her head back with a smile.

"You have to know you're hot.. Like you have to know that I and every other woman enjoy staring at you..." She looks at me like I'm dumb, and I chuckle.

"Yeah I look good, but it never seemed to appeal to you until these moments." I explain, knowing I've never not once heard her say a nice word about my appearance.

"I'm just speaking the truth into the world that you already know, thus making your ego bigger and bigger by the minute.. You're welcome..." She nods her head with her eyes closed. "It's like me.. I know when I go into work I look hot.. I know when I go out to parties and bars I look hot.. Duh. When I'm on the couch, I look like a roach." I watch her shrug, and shake my head.

"I've seen the best of both worlds if you haven't forgotten Scarlett." I remind her, but refrain from telling her that she looks just as beautiful no matter what she's doing.

"Yeah I know.. You've seen me in every way. I'm pretty sure you've seen me naked at this point." She slurs, and I shake my head.

"No. I would remember that, promise you it never happened." I confirm.

"Well thank god." She pretends to wipe sweat off of her forehead. "Don't take it personally.. I just know if you saw me naked that you'd never be able to resist me." She boasts, and I find myself laughing under my breath.

"I'm sure you're right." I nod my head. I see her with clothes on, and all the years I knew her I obviously tried to look at her in a friendly way.. I kept my glances very subtle but I did notice her when she wore tight dresses, and shorter sleep shorts when we'd sleepover together. I saw her figure, and though she's grown up more since I left she still has an amazing body... I can see that right away. Beside that, I don't care what body type she is, her personality is what makes me want her.

I turn down a few more streets, making my way back through the crowded city, and once I do I see my apartment building. It's even sleek on the outside.. Now I realize why on the phone she was talking and imagining how my apartment was.. It was because hers truly is bad. I didn't realize it was that bad though..

"Can you even walk through my place without looking like an idiot?" I ask, and she scoffs.

"I am not an idiot.. But I will give you props, that's the first mean thing you've said to me since you became my enemy."  She waves her finger at me, and I nod, ignoring her now. I hate the term enemy, and I hate myself for being the one to use it first.

I reach into the car and grab the bouquet of flowers knowing she's going to freak out on me if-

"Don't forget my flowers!" She calls out to me, and I knew it... I shake my head, and move back from the backseat, and go to the front, opening the door for her.

"Alright I can't carry you and the flowers so give me your hand." I hold mine out, and she stands with no help from me, and I shake my head. She walks with me, and I watch her as she steps with long strides and a smile on her face. She's up to something. Or she's just drunk and drunk her is happy to see me and be around me maybe. Or maybe it's both. I can never tell.

We walk into the building, and I move to the elevator, making sure I can still see her out of the corner of my eye following behind. I reach to press the button and she steps ahead of me, pressing it before I get the chance. I watch as she reaches near me, touching the sculpture next to the elevator. I pinch the bridge of my nose, and look directly at her now, realizing she's not just touching it. She's picking the marble man's nose. I lace my fingers with her empty hand, and pull her in close, surprising her. Her body is pressed against mine, and she's looking up at me.

"No more touching." I tell her, and she rolls her eyes, turning around right as the elevator opens. Thank you. She walks in, and I do the same, following behind her.

"Floor number?" She asks.

"Top floor." I look at the ceiling of the elevator, wondering how this is going to go. Please get me somewhere closer to her... Please...

I walk inside once the elevator doors open, and I throw my keys on the kitchen island, setting the flowers up there too, watching as she throws herself down on my couch. Her red hair is wild right now, and I wish I could tell her how much I love it. One thing I do know is the fact that we're in my apartment now, she's safe here right now, and I can relax a bit more.

She's got her legs up on the arm of the couch still and her back pressed down to the rest of it. I walk around the couch, and crouch next to it, resting my elbows on my knees. I reach one of my hands forward, and move her hair out of her face causing her to look at me.

"I like your hair like this scar, it looks good." She smiles, and then frowns right at me.

"Enemies don't compliment enemies." I sit down on the couch next to her, and shake my head.

"I think we both know that I'm not very good at being your enemy." I admit. Normally I would say she won't remember this in the morning... But I don't really care if she does because I would repeat it then too.

"Well you need to get better at it... and get me something to wear because I don't want to wear this anymore." She sits up, and I shake my head. She gets up, and I move quickly, picking her up, and throwing her over my shoulder. She squeals and then laughs, and I need to be careful.. I really need to be careful because this is what I want, and I know this isn't something I'm going to get hardly ever from her.. Because sadly she's not my girlfriend.
