The scene switches, a kitchen where we could see to feminine figures. There was one who sat at a table that wore a school uniform and beautiful black strands of hair and a more mature woman who was scooping colorful balls of ice cream into two large bowls.
"Here you go!" The woman who had similar traits of a sick boy hands a bowl to his underclassmen as she gratefully accepts it. "Th-Thanks!" She answers as she takes a small bite of the Neapolitan ice cream.
"My!~ He chose such a beauty!~"
That made Nagatoro stop eating as her face slowly grows red from such a remark from the woman. "Where are my manners? My name is M/n L/n! I'm Y/n's mother!" She smiles brightly as Nagatoro was more shocked that this was none other than senpai's mom.
She was the opposite of the boy, more excitement and giddily than the shy and sensitive boy that laid sick in his bed as she takes in another bite from her colorful treat.

Another bold statement from the mother as Nagatoro starts stuttering over one word. "N-N-N-No! I'm not!"
Then Y/n's mother groaned sadly. "Such a shame! I thought he would've found someone again!"

Nagatoro also glanced at the rows of pictures.

Then the thought of him playing music rolls into her mind, she turns to Mrs. L/n. "Is... Is it true that senpai... likes to play music?"
The mother turns to the kouhai with a smile. "Of course he does! He loves to make music with Abel in that music store and would sometimes make music for us during our anniversaries!" She says as she grabs out her phone and starts scrolling through it.
"I have a video on my phone that me and my husband love so much!" She says as she makes it to a video where her phone was propped sideways to reveal a couple on the couch.
Another figure comes in as he walks around the large white couch with a stool in his hand and a guitar in the other. The boy was Y/n, he sat across from them, behind the coffee table as the boy starts to play with the strings and the knobs of the instrument.
"So, what song are you going to play, hun?" His mom asked as she cuddled to her lover, a small smile was visible in his face. "I made a new song with Abel... It's called 'Thinking Out Loud'..." he replies as his father smiles as well.
"How's school going?"
"It's going well, dad..."
"Made any friends?"
"...No..."
"Ah, so sorry, kid..."

And eventually, it was time for Nagatoro to go, heading off for her home as she exits the senpai's humble home with a caring woman waving to her. "Come back soon, Hayase! We would love for you to come by for dinner!"
"Y-Yeah! Sure!" She answers back as she walks off in the neighborhood with her backpack strapped on while gazing down at the phone she held. A video where the musician played for his parents.
