story: Institute Of Salvation

genre: fantasy, lgbtq

chapters: 17 (ongoing)

description: After 15 long years of war going on between the Divine and Humans, peace was finally Agreed-upon. As a result, a school was made just for selected Human and Divine to test drive the idea of a Co-Ed school. That's where The Institute Of Salvation comes in, The first school ever to be Divine and Human Co-Ed, crazy right? Two different species of people who have been at each other throats for years jammed into small compact spaces going to school together and living on the same grounds.

What could go possibly go wrong?

warnings: mature- language and violence, slight gore nothin extremely detailed, lgbtq

feedback: worldbuilding, character development, dialogue, the pasting. I'm working with an editor to fix my grammatical errors and misspelled words due to my dyslexia.

chapter length: 1500-3000

reading preference: anything but poetry and non-fiction

will I read mature: yes

If they kill her, Ascus will likely be taken over by the powerful families aligned to Tiam. But if they fail, they will forever remember her name.

Feedback: plot, characters

Average length: 2000 words

Reading preference: anything

Story: Infamous Last Words

Genre: (contemporary/dark) fantasy

Chapters: 13 (completed)

Description: When your boss shows up angry at your door, you know your day is going to suck. When said boss happens to be the local crime lord, it's going to suck even more. And when an omen of death comes to pay you a visit as well, your morning is officially the suckiest.

Jack isn't having a very good day.

At least the problem with the angry boss can be fixed: to prove his worth and pay back debts, Jack agrees to help her find a valuable treasure in a cursed swamp infested with danger. Death, however, looms over him. Can he find a way to cheat his way out of losing his life?

Warnings: Rated mature for strong language, violence, dark themes such as death, among other things.

Feedback preference: Anything goes.

Average chapter length: 2000-2500 words

Reading preferences: I'll read anything except fanfiction for fandoms I'm not familiar with

Will read mature content: Sure

Story: Fake Me To Church

Genre: Mystery/Thriller, Teen Fiction

Chapters: 32 (Completed)

Description: After the new kid at a Christian school butts heads with the pastor's entitled son, these two at-odds high schoolers are swept up in the police investigation of a brutal murder with links to the disappearance of a young girl over a decade prior.

Warnings: While not mature, this novel does contain themes of abuse, bloody violence, and family trauma. Sexual actions are implied but never graphically described.

Feedback preference: The level of intrigue of the story, the effectiveness of character interaction in enriching the plot

Average chapter length: Between 2k and 5k words

Reading preferences: Mystery, Thriller, Suspense, Adventure, Fantasy, Most Horror (I do not want stories heavy on occult and/or satanist themes).

Will read mature content: I am fine with reading stories that contain a heightened level of violence (extended fight scenes, bloody aftermath, gory descriptions, etc.). I do not accept stories with prolonged, frequent, graphic sexual scenes; I am fine with scenes that imply sex or describe it in minor detail, but I do not welcome scenes that gratuitously describe sexual acts (especially if such scenes are a regular occurrence throughout the book). I also ask that cursing/swearing be kept to a minimum; I do not welcome novels with extreme amounts of vulgar language (e.g., 10+ uses of the f-word per chapter, excessive mention of reproductive parts in a crass or derogatory way, and/or the use of the Name of Jesus in vain or as a curse word).

Story: Castle of the damned

Genre: Horror/mystery

Chapters: twelve (ongoing)

Description: There's something wrong with the castle.

Perhaps the problem is the young owner, whose odd behaviour arouses suspicion in those around him. Perhaps it's the girl with the secrets and the voice in her head, haunted by the past, the future and something evil in the dark. Could it be the boy who never wanted all the complications he's faced with, holding on to crumbling friendships he's too afraid to let go of? Or is it the mysterious stalker in the night, trying to get to the bottom of an ancient mystery?

In the end, it doesn't matter. They're all damned just the same.

There's something wrong with the castle, and nobody knows why.

Warnings: Strong language, violence, death. Essentially, what you'd expect from a horror story.

Feedback preference: None. I'll take anything.

Average chapter length: 2K-2,5K words

Reading preferences: I'm open to reading anything.

Will read mature content: Yes.

Book: Watched

Genre: Horror and Psychological Thriller

Chapters: 12 (complete)

Description: Fitness-trainer, Winston, settled in Corbeau Woods for a quiet life with his husband, free of the superstition and madness of his childhood. When a mysterious statue of an eye circulates around town and people go missing, everyone but he is convinced supernatural elements are responsible. After it lands on his doorstep, Winston must wrestle with his denial of the paranormal to avoid losing his husband and his life.

Warnings: A bit of swearing, some description of murder victims with a bit of gore though more than I'd write in an adventure story.

Feedback: Constructive feedback is welcome especially big picture notes on character development, structure, pacing. Notes to improve the flow and descriptions are appreciated as well.

Average chapter length: 1.5k

Reading preferences: Happy to read anything

Will read mature: yes

Book: More to You

Genre: Romance

Chapters: 5 (weekly updates)

Description: As Maria accepts her life as a newly single teacher in Thailand, she can't get the passionate kiss she shared with her hot neighbour, Mitch, out of her mind. Mitch, who would sooner move back to his boring small-town than commit to a relationship, finds himself drawn to his friendship with Maria and needing her more than he realizes. Tom shares her dream of finding love and raising a family, but can he stir up the feelings in her that Mitch has? When faced with passion and potential heartbreak or safety and shared values, Maria will have to choose which risk is most worth taking.

Warnings: For now, just drug and alcohol references.

Feedback: Technically this is a part of a series, but I'm testing to see how well it stands up as its own book so any feedback from new readers about points that are confusing or underdeveloped are especially appreciated. Also if you find it hooking or interesting. Any other construtive feedback is always welcome too.

Average chapter length: 1.5k-2.5k

Reading preferences: Happy to read anything

Will read mature: yes

Story: Carpe Noctem

Genre: Historical fiction/paranormal/mystery

Chapters: 20 (plus Author's Note)

Description: Lucy Penn, an aristocrat and fledgling vampire, has to thwart the insidious ambitions of an ancient evil being in order to save 1890s London from eternal darkness.

Warnings: mentions of blood, gore, vampire violence

Feedback Preference: I'm mostly interested in how convincing this is as a historical piece. Could you imagine this piece of literature existing in the 1890s? Does the overall tone and themes have a classic gothic Victorian style? I'm autistic, so the way in which I perceive/process social interactions is very odd - so I'd appreciate the reader's perspective on whether or not the characters' dialogue/conversations are smooth and realistic.

Average chapter length: 1200 - 3000 words

Reading Preferences: I like character based stories, as all plots are copies of each other. I prefer nothing about teenagers, "alphas," or the mafia.

Will read Mature Content: Detailed sex scenes make me very uncomfortable. Everything else is fine.

Average chapter length: 1200

Reading preference: anything

Will read mature content: Yes

Story: Keychains

Genre: General Fiction

Chapters: 15 complete (excluding preface)

Description: It's been ten years since Nora Whelan ran away, taking with her the painful secrets that shattered her family. Her ability to peer into other people's lives had saved her own. Now as the marketing manager of a technological enterprise, Nora is determined to succeed and leave her past failures behind. But when Nora discovers she's to inherit her family's old house, she must confront her past, as well as the truth behind her visions. As Nora dives deeper into the fractured past of her family, she is faced with a difficult question: What is worth fixing, and what is better left behind?

Warnings: Scenes and mentions of emotional abuse.

Feedback preference: Please let me know how well I've portrayed character, and the overall plot (since I'm not used to writing long stories). Also, I want to know if there's a strong sense of setting. Finally, let me know how you find the dialogue scenes, and where things get confusing or vague or contrived. I would greatly appreciate it if an autistic reader provided their opinion on how I represented a character in my novel. Thank you

Average chapter length: 2k to 3k.

Reading preferences: I like Teen Fic (unless the main plot is going to a new school, I won't read that), Fantasy, Dystopian, General Fiction, slice of life, Historical Fiction, Horror and Mystery/Thriller. I dislike Romance, Paranormal, and Werewolf/Supernatural.

Will read mature content: I CANNOT read anything that has too much swearing. I also can't read sex stuff. Gore and emotional abuse I can handle.

Story: Fairies and Arrows

Genre: Adventure

Chapters: 4 (ongoing)

Description: Arrow has lived in Neverland all of his life with his fellow lost boys. He has always followed the same three rules all the other boys follow. Rule #1- Always be loyal to Peter Pan Rule #2- Don't look into the Founding Rule #3- Under no circumstances, leave Neverland and grow up. But when Arrow sees something he shouldn't have seen, he'll have to choose between loyalty to his fellow lost boys or to discover himself and his past.

Warnings: Depictions of death, PTSD, and sexual harrasment/assault

Feedback preferences: I'm open to all constructive criticism, but specifically development(plot or character), and general understanding(was a choice confusing or a part hard to imagine).

Average chapter length: 900 words

Reading preferences: Fantasy, romance, and adventure, but I'm open to all types. I do not like Nonfiction.

Mature content: I'm okay with everything except for descriptive sex scenes.

Read and completed the quiz: yes

Story: What Comes After

Genre: Science Fiction (technically fan-fiction but all characters, settings, and conflicts are original)

Chapters: 20

Description: When an asteroid hits the moon and pushes it closer, little did Neal know that his life would change forever as tidal waves ravage his town's coastline and volcanic eruptions cloud the entire sky with darkness.

Warnings: Nothing much. Just some political content and some disturbing imagery.

Feedback preference:- Characters / Character development, - Believability (i.e. Are character reactions realistic? Are any plot points too outlandish?), - Dialogue, - Pacing (Book is mean to be slow, but is it too slow/fast?), - Plot inconsistencies and repetition

Average chapter length: 5k words (3-4k for earlier chapters, 6-7k for later ones)

Reading preferences: Anything but fantasy

Mature content: Will read anything
