Complete

It was like you were sent to me,

A half that came to complete.

When first our eyes did meet,

A sparkle heralded the beginning.

A beginning of the joining,

Of two kindred souls.

The flesh did pleasure,

But that was not enough.

Eagerly we ate from each other,

Our ravenous kisses devoured.

Searching hands did discover,

Hidden pleasures of ecstatic bliss.

Fulfillment from even the simplistic,

Was enough to feed our love.

Your lips, I have traced,

A thousand times over,

Yet it feels like the first time.

When we are apart,

My heart craves and aches,

As it is not complete.

In the dark, you are my light,

When lost, you are my compass,

When lonely, my companion,

Through storms my shelter.

You are the anchor that secures.

When down, you hold my hand,

And remind me of why I live.

In the quiet of the new dawn,

Azreal, came forth, and reaped,

He tore our souls apart,

He shed not a tear,

For the crime he did commit.

Bemoan, howl, rent, to no avail,

Gone from me you were.

From God I turned that day,

And sought succor from revenge.

I did hunt Azrael,

With a passion akin to love!

I did not find him,

He found me...

Pity did he take,

My red eyes, he did wipe,

The words he spoke that day,

Afore I died, were simple...

Your next life awaits,

She is out there, find her.

Eagerly I embraced the end.

To my love I did fly.

A thousand life times,

She is always there,

Waiting for me or me for her.

Whether human, animal or bird,

Together we are forever,

Or till God decides to stop.

Every day I am thankful,

That I can share my love,

Always wondering why God,

Allowed this everlasting love.

My epiphany eventually...

God is the God of love,

Why would he ever let it die?

When true love does join,

He keeps it together forever.

Yes...forever and ever.

Together we stand,

Holding tightly to each other,

Looking at this life's last sunset,

Eagerly awaiting the new dawn,

Of our next reincarnation.
