Luz had made a winter themed dance under pressure. Not fun. It was conducted a good idea, so they just had to make everything.
For most of the class period, Luz made streamers with Mrs.Willis. "Who are you going with Luz?" Mrs.Willis asked flat out.
"My friends."
"No like, a crush?"
"Crush?" Luz clarified.
Mrs.Willis nodded, "Anyone you have the hots for?"
Luz shook her head, "Considering, but not going through with it."
Mrs.Willis ooed, "Gossip- Share!"
Luz got another paper, using the scissors to make the streamer, "I had a small crush on one of my friends, but then they got a partner. So I had to get over it." Luz explained. "Not really gossip though Mrs.Willis."
"Lucy is fine. How about you take Hamster?" She asked.
The bunny hopped over, getting in Luz's lap, "Would you like to go to the dance with me Hamster?~"
He did a small jump to get comfy in her lap, his little nose twitching. "I will take that as a yes." Luz said, kissing his forehead.
After about twenty minutes of making more streamers, Luz just, suddenly stopped. She got Hamster off her knee, getting up, "May I be excused?"
Lucy nodded, "Sure, be back before class ends though."
Luz thanked her, quickly leaving the room. She went to the football stands, going over to the only two people there. She moved Noah aside, sitting down, moving Amity's hands down. The human flinched, drawing back, Luz cupping her cheek, "You okay?"
Amity shook her head slowly, Luz waving Noah away, "Go get a water and my bag. I have like six stuffies to make her feel better. I go to ASB, but need this ASAP. Hurry!"
Noah jumped, quickly leaving the stands, Luz caressing Amity's cheek, "I would like to know what happened."
Amity leaned in to Luz's palm, the witchling kissing her forehead, "I'm just a bit stressed right now.." Amity said quietly. "Father called..Telling me to get home right after school so we could take pictures..Then mother called and said to be at cheer right after school.."

Luz pulled a tiny bear from her chest pocket out from her overalls, making it lightly peck Amity's cheek, "I'm still listening." Luz said as she put the bear in Amity's lap.
She nodded slowly, gently picking up the bear, "I told father, he got mad.. Then I told mother..She got mad..Now they're arguing.."
Luz wiped away Amity's tears, the human relaxing just a bit, "Well, just know, it's not your fault. But, let's figure things out one at a time." Luz said, sitting properly. "Okay?"
"Okay.."

Noah had successfully ruined the moment. You're dead to us y'know. "I am so sorry- I didn't- I should've waited like an extra minute-"
Amity was in the middle of wanting to tell Luz what was stressing her out, the rest of it, but Noah had called her babe and came at the wrong time, so now Amity was back in her shell. "It's okay Amity, Noah is a bad dummkopf."
Amity laughed a bit through tears, wiping them away, "Ay is a horrible influence on you.."
Luz half shrugged, "He may or may not be-"
"I'm still sorry-" Noah chimed in.
Amity hiccuped, Luz glaring at Noah, "You dummkopf!" Luz hissed. "You are a mean dummkopf! Bad Amity's love interest! Bad!"
*Dummkopf means fool or idiot
Noah drew back, "I'm sorry-"
And that just makes Amity rethink what he said, so he made it worse. "I'm going to give her a kiss-" Luz blurted out.
"What- Okay but- Not on her mouth that's going to be my job soon-"
Luz kissed Amity's forehead, "Do you want a candy?"

Amity nodded slowly, Luz taking her bag from Noah, taking out a smaller bag of treats. She opened the little bag of sweets, offering it to Amity. The Blight looked through it, taking out the Smershey's Kiss. She unwrapped it and put it in her mouth, humming quietly. "Kiss kiss?"
"Mhm.."
Luz kissed her head, "Don't cry, it will ruin your makeup, and then you'll look like one of those rock and roll people Gus showed me." The witchling said, going through her bag.

She pulled out a wipe, napkin, and a poncho. "Was that..?"
"This is what I was going to show you when you guys came over, it wasn't for me, it was actually for you." Luz said, offering all three things to the human. "Didn't expect that many people to show up and I couldn't give it to you in private, then I kept forgetting to bring it."
Amity wiped her makeup away first, drying her tears, and putting on the poncho. It was a white poncho, with a fluffy collar, wrist, hood, and lining. It had Amity's name embroidered on the hood in pink. The Blight pulled the hood up, moving the candies aside and hugging Luz.
The witchling moved her legs, letting Amity get a bit more comfortable, the human having herself in between the witch. Amity nuzzled in to her chest, Luz rubbing her back, sticking her tounge out at Noah. "Bab-"
"Shh. You don't get to say that word without consent."
"But we're-"
"I don't care that you're dating."
"It's-"
"It's not necessary to call your partner that in a relationship."
"W-"
"I'm going to keep interrupting you until you hush up."
"-"
"I mean it Noah."
"
"Be quiet!"
He clamped his mouth shut, Luz glaring at him while she moved the Blights hair back. "Bells going to ring in a bit.." Amity said quietly. "You aren't going to leave me right..?"
Luz sighed quietly, "I have to, Camilla has been busy with work and today is finally her day off..I have to take care of her while she sleeps.."
Amity clenched on to Luz, "I don't want you to leave.." Amity spoke quietly as her voice cracked.
"You have Noah to take care of you."
Amity glared over at her love interest, "I'm mad at him right now.."
"Come on ba-"
"You can come home with me Amity, I am mad at him too. Dummkopf he is."
Amity giggled, Luz glaring at Noah, the male stepping back, "My mother will get mad..So will my father.."
"At this point, I do not care. Ay will handle it for us, he's got you and-" Luz paused. "Myself and you, covered. Yeah that sounds right-"
Amity carefully pushed herself up, Luz kissing her forehead, Amity gathering her things, "Oh uh Luz- I told your teacher that you wouldn't be coming back because of what you were helping my partner with-" Noah said.

"Okay. Well, I'm taking Amity from you for today. She'll be yours later or tomorrow." Luz said, getting up, helping the Blight up as well.
Amity wiped her face again, Luz taking her things, "Can I come with?" Noah asked.
Both girls glared at him, Luz snarling quietly, "You made it worse dum dum! You are not coming." Luz hissed.
Noah stuck his tongue out at her, Amity wrapping her arm around Luz's, "Don't you d-"
Luz hissed trying to scratch Noah, Amity pulling her back, "Luz calm down!"
The witchling growled, trying to kick Noah, barely missing him. Amity scooped her up, then walked away. Quality girlfriend right here guys.

Noceda residence, first things first, take care of Camilla. "What would you like for lunch Ms.Noceda?" Luz asked, offering her a printed paper of things she could make.
Camilla rubbed her eyes, taking the paper and pen, "You'll make me feel old that way.." Camilla yawned, looking at the options, checking three off. "Mom or Camilla.."
Luz took the paper and pen back, "I still need to get used to it. But, what drink would you like to get started with?"
Camilla layed down a bit, "Lo que sea que haya.."
"Cold jamaica with a headache pill it is." Luz nodded, writing that down "I will have your meal ready in half an hour, rest for now."
Camilla nodded slowly, carefully laying down, Luz pulling the covers over her. She kissed Camilla's head, taking off her glasses, folding them neatly and putting them down. "Thanks Luz.."
"You are most welcome. I'll come to wake you up when I've gotten your things." Luz said, going back to the door. "Jamaica will be up in a few minutes."
Camilla lazily gave Luz a thumbs up, the witchling leaving the room, closing the door behind herself. Luz checked the list again, "Beef stew in a bread bowl, two tortillas with it, and frijoles." Luz nodded, going down the stairs. "Easy."

Once Luz finished the meal, she brought it back up to Camilla's room with the second cup of Jamaica, the human up and taking a pill. "Was that your medication?" Luz asked as she went over.
Camilla nodded, "Vitamins. Wow that smells good Mija." Camilla said, taking the Jamaica from Luz, taking a sip of the nice fresh drink. "It looks good too!"
Luz placed the bed tray in front of Camilla, the human very interested in the meal, "It's still hot, and since you are at risk for high cholesterol, I put a side of pollo because there's not much beef."
Camilla shrugged, "Who cares it smells and looks great! Can't believe I ate arroz y frijoles durante tres años seguidos." Camilla argued to herself, then she paused. "Frijoles are good- My mom would be so pissed right now if she heard that-"
"My mom would be grateful. When King eats any type of beans, he will get gassy." Luz shuddered. "We still have no idea what he eats on a daily basis.."
Camilla took her knife, fork, and spoon out of the little holder, "You haven't monitored him before?"
Luz nodded, "Does absolutely nothing. The second we look away, he eats something he isn't supposed to. It's scary."
Camilla let out a small laugh, putting her utensils down, taking her fork and searching through the stew. "I'll leave you to eat, Amity and I will be in my room if you need anything."
"Thank you, Luz. If you're going to be outside, inform me so I know who's messing in the mud."
Luz smiled softly, going back to the door, "I will."
Camilla nodded, Luz leaving the room, closing the door behind herself, going to her own room. Amity was in there with Prince and Nero, the kitten around her neck, covering his ears. Prince was repeating a single letter, Amity trying to figure out what the heck he was barking about.
Prince lowered his head, letting out a huff, looking back up at Amity, "D."
"It sounds like B, Prince. So I'm going to assume that was D." Amity said.
"I'll give it to you because you're pretty Amity."
The human glanced over at Luz, the witchling sitting beside her, "He says he'll give it to you because you're pretty." Luz said.
"Well thank you Prince," Amity leant down and kissed his head. "That was very sweet of you."
He grinned, his tail wagging furiously behind himself, "Aw shucks.." Prince glanced down at the floor then back at Amity.
Prince got up, nuzzling in between Amity's arm, resting his head in her lap, "I love you." He barked. "Do you love me?"
"Of course she does. She gives you kisses whenever you want." Nero mewed, nuzzling Amity's cheek. "She smells like strawberries."
Amity scratched Nero's chin, the kitten purring loudly, the human kissing his cheek. Nero let out a suprised mew, "Yes Nero, that was a kiss from Amity." Luz said, scratching behind his ear.
"Well tell her to give me another." Nero purred, licking Amity's cheek. "I can't believe I chose Amelia over you that one time! Take me with you."
Luz picked him up, sitting him down in her lap, "First of all, you're my pet, friend, and familiar. So you're bound to me til you or I die. Second of all, you still need to pick a form."
"A what now?"
Luz drew a small circle in the air, an illusion of Nero in blue popping up right by her. "A familiar can have one form of their or their owners choice, you haven't picked one yet."
"Well, what can I be?"
"First, you have to be one of the main options. Bat, cat, crab, frog, hawk, lizard, octopus, owl, poisonous snake, fish, rat, raven, sea horse, spider, or a weasel." Luz recalled. "Then you can pick any animal, mythical or not."
Prince pulled back from Amity's arm, crawling to the other side of the human to Luz, "Does that mean I can be a horse?" Prince barked.
"You have to ask Camilla. She has to bring you back to add it to your forms." Luz said. "So she'll have to kill you."
"What!?" Amity exclaimed, pulling Prince over. "You wouldn't dare hurt him."
Luz booped Prince's nose, "It's part of our culture. We can bring him back with his spirit, do some spells, bring him back, Prince lives! I'll have to kill you too Nero. Just taking away a life."
He flipped over, Luz scratching his chest, the kitten purring, "Just one life. No harm done." He mewed. "I want to be a dragon."
Luz booped his snout, "And it shall be so! But another time. Prince, what did you wanna be?"
"A horse!" Prince barked, letting out a huff. "Maybe a flying horse!
"A Pegasus?"
"No no, that sounds kinda dumb." Prince barked. "A regular horse."
"Well what kind?"
Prince paused. "The biggest type! I want to be super strong!" He barked.
"So a Clydesdale horse?"
"Sure! If it's the biggest breed!"
Luz pat his head, "It is the biggest horse breed. Any specific color?"
"Let mom pick- Oh is she doing okay?"
Luz nodded, "Camilla's fine. Just tired is all."
Prince slipped out of Amity's grasp, going to the door, leaving the room, going to Camilla's. The door opened, Prince letting out a cheerful bark, the bed creaking, signifying he got up. "Is it my turn now?" Nero mewed.
