It's something with moon
Of course it is
It's the actual moon, we're referring too
But it's when it's so big
Like it's bigger than the sun
And it's a hint of red
And orange
It's overall
Beautiful
Mesmerizing
I've seen it a dozen times probably
It always rose low
And never got very high
I never knew why it was special
That was before I understood astronomy
Or science in general
I just knew it was cool
It was one of the most eventful things
In that old town
Something to look forward too
On chilly nights
