Tanjiro and I dashed to the conductor's cart, slashing at incoming blobs that tried to stop us.
Tanjiro face grimaced as the scent got stronger and stronger, I was only starting to smell the demon now as we were 2 or 3 carts away from the front.
"It's right below us!" Tanjiro exclaimed, we readied our swords and cut into the cockpit, breaking through the bottom of the floor. Beyond revealed the bone of a neck, covered by fleshy blobs with eyes.
"Water breathing, first form! Water Surface Slash!" Tanjiro tried to cut through the bone but it was too shallow.
I followed suit "Demon breathing, sixth form. Bloody Fangs!" my sword dug into the bone, but it still wasn't enough to cut through, just how strong was this thing?!
Inosuke had entered the cockpit a little after us, I didn't notice the conductor who looked ragged and tired.
"Beast breathing! Fourth fang! Slice n' Dice!" Inosuke swung both his swords and made a deep cut into the bone. The grooves of his chipped sword making a deeper cut as he pulled away.
The flesh blobs grew from the wound and enveloped the cart, the eyes penetrating us with its gaze.
I looked into the eyes and I fell into a dark world.
I opened my eyes and I was put face to face with my family, who looked at me with disgust.
"I can't believe I gave birth to such a hideous monster!..." My mother revolted, holding her hand against her mouth like she was about to puke.
"You should just crawl into a hole and die." My father added.
Is this the demon's pathetic attempt to make me miserable? Does the demon not know that I've dealt with this abuse since birth? I've heard that line from my father more than a million times that I've come to take it as a compliment.
"...?"
"(Y/N)... I expected better from you, go home." I turn around to see the four. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Nezuko.
"You're pathetically weak, we don't need you here, trash!" Inosuke yelled.
"Who are you? you should just go back where you came, I already have Nezuko-chan." Zenitsu holds her close.
This is just a dream...it's just a dream...I know it's just a dream but...
Why do I feel so sad?
From some people, I've only known a few months to talk to me like this, I shouldn't be sad. I shouldn't care...
Before I knew it, tears flowed from my eyes, I fear that they would tell me this in real life. I am weak, I couldn't do anything against those demons...someone always had to jump in and save me.
"Just kill yourself already." I looked down and see a reflection of myself.
"You want to be strong, don't you? Show me your resolve and I will help you."
"But I can't! I have to do this by myself, I don't need help from anyone!"
"Are you listening to yourself? Who do you think you're looking at?" Her face grimaced.
I stayed silent and let my tears make ripples in the reflection.
"...I am you, you are me, you don't need to be scared of losing anyone if you protect them."
I let out a deep breath and wiped my tears, drawing my sword and bringing it to my neck.
"Thank you." I smiled at my reflection and cut my neck.
I gasped as I awoke, Tanjiro seemed to have done the same.
"Close your eyes! don't look at them!" Tanjiro shouted, I shut my eyes and tried to concentrate.
I'm tired of being weak, I'm tired of letting others save me!
"Demon breathing, 3rd form. Hell's Palace!" I readied my stance and slashed all the eyes, making them close and giving Tanjiro the chance to use Hinokami Kagura on the bone, slicing through it.
The train shook violently and the conductor stood up, "Don't interfere with my dream!" He held up an ice pick and stabbed Tanjiro in the stomach.
"Tanjiro!" I hurried to him and pushed the conductor out of the way and held him in my arms, pushing my haori against his wound.
"You bastard! how dare you stab Monjiro!" Inosuke was about to punch him but I grabbed him by the arm and jumped out the window with him and Tanjiro.
The train came to a halt and fell to it's side, crashing against the ground.
I set Tanjiro to the ground, he continued to bleed from his stomach and he began to cough up blood.
"Tanjiro! are you ok?" I asked worryingly, the scent of his blood was strong, but I couldn't care less about that.
"The...the conductor...is he ok?" Why is he thinking about the safety of the guy that stabbed him?! I don't understand!
"Who cares about that guy! he stabbed you in the tummie!" Inosuke shouted.
"W-where is the conductor?..." He weakly asks.
"His leg is crushed by the train, there's no saving him, he won't be able to walk anymore."
"Please help him...I don't want him to die..."
"But!-"
"If I die, he'll become a murderer, please help him then me..." I bit my lip but instructed Inosuke to drag him out of the wreckage, he begrudgingly obliged.
I hadn't noticed it, but the flame hashira suddenly appeared behind me. "Allow me."
I carefully set Tanjiro's head down and the flame hashira put a finger to his forehead.
"Kamado my boy, you've been stabbed in a vital area, if you continue to bleed, you'll certainly die."
"Control your breathing, concentrate on stopping the bleeding." Tanjiro did as instructed and the flow had stopped.
"Good, now concentrate even more to close the wound."

"There." I saw the wound close up like someone was stitching it shut, it was a miracle how much total concentration breathing could do for someone.
"Thank you, Rengoku-san." Tanjiro got up slowly.
"TANNJIROOOO!!!" There was the famous cry.
"WHAT HAPPENED??? I WOKE UP AND THE TRAIN WAS TILTED OVER, I'M SCARED TANJIROOOOOOO!!!!" I let out a sigh of relief, seems like he and Nezuko were also ok.
"Zenitsu! I'm glad you're ok!" Tanjiro smiled.
I was happy that everyone was fine, but a chill ran up my spine, I felt something...something was coming...I felt like vomiting, what was this presence?
I snapped my head around to face the forest and a figure launched from inside and towards us, Rengoku got in front of us and blocked its strike.
No...nonononono! what was he doing here?!
Why is the third moon here?!

Man I haven't written in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time I pretty much forgot everything that happened so forgive me if I left out stuff I just felt like typing on my new keyboard.
But like (Y/N) was pretty badass, I had a clear picture in my head when she slashed all those eyes I wish I could animate it but I don't have the cinematography skills to make it look cool I hope u guys have a good imagination lolololololololololol
