The replacement did not work. So Amity was stuck, sitting on the bed, with nothing to do but pet Luz, for three hours. When the witchling let her go, Amity quickly pulled her hand back, waking up her numb hand. When she was good, she got comfy, and gave her hand back to Luz.
The witch began to do what she did earlier, relaxing, but not dozing back off. "You're not going back to sleep are you?" Amity asked.
"No I am not. You're staying with me though." Luz stated.
Amity pulled her hand back, Luz pouting, "If you're not going to sleep I should get back to my photo shoots." Amity said.
Luz sighed, "I have work.." Luz whined. "Oh wait, I see Bo today!" The witch sat up, getting out of bed. "I get to see Bo bake for the first time too! I should go get ready-"
"This isn't your house."
"This isn't my house-"
"You're still on your moon cycle."
"I'm still on my moon cycle! And I'm in pain-"
"I also don't trust Bo."
"You don't trust Bo! Wait- You don't trust Bo?"
Amity shook her head, crossing her arms, "I don't trust her, she woke you up the other day, and she stole Prince from me that one time."
"Well he still loves you even though you nearly picked a crow over him-" Luz fumbled.
"Does he love me or you more?"
"He loves you more, no doubt. He constantly barks about you, mostly at night because he says he likes how you snore."
Amity scoffed, "I don't snore."
"Oh yes you do." Luz nodded. "Prince says you sound like a cat purring but less often, I think you sound like Ms.Noceda when she snores, except quieter, and less drool is involved!"
Amity glared at the witch, Luz giving her a big smile, "I do not snore."
Luz nodded again, slowly, "I have just explained it to you. Amity Blight, you snore."
"No, I do not."
The witch looked around, spotting her phone, picking it up, unlocking it, and going to camera. She scrolled down, then clicked on something, handing Amity her phone, "I know it was very wrong of me to record you without consent, but I knew when I told you this, you'd decline."
Luz pressed play, Amity rolling her eyes, watching the video. Amity was holding on to Luz, the witch putting the phone on the pillow, giggling quietly. A silent, bear like snore ensued, "Pst- Amity~ You're snoring!"
"Mm..Quiet.."
The snores continued, Luz giggling, the camera being picked up, and showing both species. "Bright.." Amity mumbled, burrying her face in Luz's neck.
The witch giggled, being very ticklish there, "Amity! You'll get your drool in my hair!"
The human nuzzled in to her neck, letting out a quiet snore. Luz layed her head back down comfortably, cupping Amity's cheek, "You are a noisy human."
"Mm..Shh.."
"You shh! You woke me up!" Luz whisper shouted.
Amity put her hand on Luz's face, pushing her away, "Shh..And turn off the light..It's bright.."
"Some might says, it's very, Blightening."
Amity grumbled, "That was so stupid.. Please never say that again.."
"Have any Blight ideas other then shushing me and snoring?"
Amity let go of Luz, and turned around, "Amity~ Don't be like that~"
"I do not find your jokes illuminating Luz. Now go to sleep.."
"If you admit you snore I will."
"I snore now go to sleep!"
Luz giggled, then the video ended. Amity facepalmed, "I do not snore."
"You said it yourself! You snore."
"No, I, do, not."

8:57 pm, Luz's shift is over and she's now back at Amity's house, in the guest bedroom. It was as big as Amity's room, but Luz didn't care. A room isn't how you define the owners. Luz knew Amity had lots of money, heck, she knew Amity was popular and on almost every magazine, but Luz didn't care.
Luz only cared that Amity was a great heater, pillow, with a great personality, and that they were friends because they wanted to be, neither being used by the other. "Thank you Joseph, I hope you have a nice night." Luz nodded.
He bowed, turned around, left the room, closing the door behind himself. Luz hesitantly went to her bathroom in the room, this bathroom being bigger then Luz's room. She didn't like big spaces, too many shadows, not enough light to cover the room. She didn't like small spaces either, she liked to have a rather free space.
Luz took a shower, got in her PJ's, brushed her teeth, and took the things she needs to sleep with, out. This included a night light, and Amilotl. Luz pulled the covers aside, getting on the bed, comfortable, and made sure her night light worked. Luz pulled the covers over herself, only using a corner on the bed, this bed being twice her beds size.
The door creaked open, Luz looking over, the lights being turned on. "Oh.. Hey Amity.." Luz smiled slightly.
"You doing okay?" The human asked, leaning against the door.
Luz sat up, and nodded, "Yes thank you, the room is..Big.." Luz mumbled, her last word echoing in the quiet room.
"Eh..It's nothing.."
"It is something. My house on the Isles is huge, but this room, is nearly a ¾ size of it. If you wanted to, you could make a slightly smaller version of my house!" Luz sighed. "I bet even your broom closest is as big as my room."
Amity shook her head, "It's bigger."
Luz held on to Amilotl tightly, giving it a tight squeeze, "I'm glad you're giving me a temporary room, you've even let me stay for an entire day! But you know you don't have to do this.."
Amity closed the door, going over to Luz, sitting on the bed by her, "Of course I do, you're my friend."
Luz nodded, "I'm your friend. I want to be treated as your friend, not like a person of monetary value. If it's okay, only if it's okay, can I just get a smaller room? I don't like big spaces, and right now is probably a bad time to tell you that.."
Amity nodded slowly, getting back up, taking Luz's hand, pulling her up, "Come on then, smallest room we have is the living room. It's as big as your back and front yard, so you can go there."
Luz nodded, and gathered her things while Amity talked to her butlers and maids, eventually getting everything settled.
When it was time, Luz was taken down the stairs, to the back, and to the a room, "Goodnight Madam."
Luz thanked him, going over to the now pulled out couch, plopping down on it, having plugged her nightlight in already. She pulled the blanket over herself, pulled Amilotl close, and got comfortable to doze off.

2:12 am. Luz's nightlight went out. The witch knew what darkness felt like, so she had woken up in an instant, looking around the room. Luz went to the edge of the couch, feeling to find out if the night light was plugged in. It was. Luz panted quietly, grabbing Amilotl, getting up and quickly following the wall to the stairs.
No, the lights didn't work here either. Luz carefully went upstairs, trying to open the doors, none so far opened, then one did. Luz pulled the handle down, pushing the door open, the TV light illuminating most of the room. Luz went over, poking the humans cheek, "Hm?- Huh?- Wha..?"
"Emira.."
"Edric..It's Edric.." The male muttered, rubbing his eyes. "What..?"
He grabbed his phone, checking the time, "Do you have any night lights..?" Luz asked quietly.
Edric shook his head, putting his phone down, rubbing his eyes, "Ugh..Go ask the butler.."
Luz tensed, "I-I don't like the dark- I don't want to go back out there-" Luz mumbled.
He rubbed his eyes, laying his head back down, pointing up, "Emira is up there..Wake her..She'll take you.."
Luz went up two steps, knocking on the side, Emira flipping over, "He's a loud guy..I'll take you in a second.."
Took a minute for Emira to get up, the human taking Luz to a butlers room, this Butler being the one with two of everything. He had given Luz a night light, but the power had went out downstairs. Luz sat in the hallway, looking out the window, just waiting for the sun to come up.
Her cramps started up, the pills no longer working. The moon was no longer full, but these cycles cause much pain to female witches, so many tried to stop it, but none ever could. Something passed the window, Luz getting off the floor, slightly looking out as the window was closed.
It passed it again, then again, so Luz quietly opened the window, poking her head out. That something passed her again, then stopped in front of her. It's eyes glew in the dark, their teeth surprisingly glowing as well, the it showing its sharp teeth, "I found you Luz Clawthorne~"
"Uh-Oh."
