Around 10 Nandini was doing her bed after the dinner when her phone rang grabbing her attention.
Nandini: Hello
Manik on the other side:Hi Shona.
Nandini:Manik you reached?
Manik: yes I reached, an hour ago and now I am in my room.
Nandini: Good, had your lunch it's past lunch time there?
Manik: No I just ordered, you tell had your dinner?
Nandini: Yes I had, I was going to sleep.
Manik: How was your day?
Nandini: Usual, I just went to academy today and met Aryaman and Ahana after long time I got to spend some time with them.
Manik: Great.
Nandini: Manik, you informed Maa?
Manik: Yes, I called her first and then called you.
Nandini: Okay good, now take rest you must be tired.
Manik: Good night.
Both slept off being tired and the next day went on with the same routine for everyone. Whole day Manik and Nandini just exchanged some messages.
Soon it was Saturday and it was little free for everyone.
Nandini called Aliya and Mukti.
Nandini: Hello guys.
Mukti: Hi Nandu, how are you?
Aliya:Hii guys, how are you?
Nandini: I am fine, you guys tell.
Aliya: We are fine. Now you say when are you starting your shopping?
Nandini: That's what I called for, are you both free tomorrow?
Aliya: We are ever ready for shopping.
Mukti: Yup, who all are coming?
Nandini: Just all the ladies. We will first see the outfits for the other functions.Wedding outfits Aliya you are designing right?
Aliya: You want me to design the wedding outfits?
Nandini: Yes, why not?
Aliya: Great, I will design your wedding outfit you just describe about how you want.
Nandini: Ok that has time for now we are going for shopping tomorrow at 10?
Mukti: Cool, we will see you tomorrow?
Nandini: Yeah, Bye guys.
She then messaged Ahana and Aashna about tomorrow's plan and called Neyonica.
Nandini: Hello Maa.
Neyo: Arre Nandu, kaisi hai?
Nandini:Main thik hu, aap kaise hai aur ghar pe baki sab kaise hai?
Neyo: Sab mast hai, aab bata call kyu kiya.
Nandini: Arre haa, kal hum sab shopping ke liye ja rahe vo hi batane ke liye call kiya.
Neyo: Acha hai, kitne baje?
Nandini: 10 baje.
Neyo: Acha thik hai main aa jaungi. Acha yeh bata Manu se baat hui?
Nandini: Nahi maa parso pahuchne ke baad call kiya tha uske baad nahi hui.
Neyo: Yeh ladka itna kya busy hai ki call nahi kar sakta.
Nandini: Maa vo busy honge rehne do jab time milega call karlenge.
Neyo: Acha thik hai, kal milti hu. Bye.
Nandini: Bye Maa.
She got ready for hospital and went to her work.
True life care hospital
Nandini entered the hospital and went to her cabin. In the cabin when she got settled she heard a muffled voice and when she concentrated on the voice it was coming from under the table.
Nandini bend down to see,that a small girl was sobbing and her hand was bleeding.
Nandini: Baby aap yaha kya kar rahi ho?
That girl started crying more and Nandini tried to calm her down.
Nandini: Baby aap roo kyu rahi ho, aap pehle bahar aao aap ko koi kuch nahi karega.
Baby: Promise?
Nandini: Promise. Aao aap aise niche kyu chupke bethe ho.
She took her out and made her sit on her lap.
Baby:Mujhe na vo gandi wali aunty injection dengi isiliye main yaha chup gayi.
Nandini: Aww, abhi koi nahi aayega. Acha abhi yeh batao aapka naam kya hai?
Baby: Aastha.
Nandini: Beautiful name for a beautiful girl. Abhi yeh batao apke saath kon aaya hai?
Baby: Mumma.
Nandini: Chalo phir mumma ke pass, aapki mumma pareshan hogi.
Nandini went with the child outside to see a peon and nurse searching for someone.
Nandini: Aap log yeh bacchi ko dundh rahe ho?
Nurse: Haa doctor thank god, hum kabse isse dundh rahe the.
A lady came running their and took the child from Nandini's hand.
Lady: Thank you doctor.
Nandini: It's ok, what happened to her hand?
Lady: A glass peirced in her hand, and she is not ready to take the treatment.
Nandini: Not an issue, please come to the check up room.I will check.
They went to the room and Aasta started to cry again.
Nandini: Aastha, apko pata hai yaha pe na aap jaise aur bhi babies hai.
Aastha:Kaha pe?
Nandini: Wo log na aaram kar rahe hai, un log ko bhi aap jaise lag gayi hai.
Nandini started to distract her and started her dressing.
Nandini: Aap mujhse friendship karoge?
Aastha: Haa pal mujhe tho aapka naam bhi nahi pata.
Nandini: Mera naam Nandini hai.
Aastha: Nanhi?
Nandini laughed at this and said: Nanhi nahi Nandini par aap mujhe Nanhi bula sakte ho.
Nandini: Acha yeh batao, aap konse standard mein padte ho?
Aastha: Mein U. Kg main.
Nandini: Aur yeh hogaya dekha aapko pata bhi nahi chala.
She turned to her mother and said.
Nandini:Iski dressing ho gayi hai, jyada deep nahi hai chot just keep changing it everyday and this medicine everyday twice a day. If any problem just contact me.
Lady: Thank you doctor, mujhe laga yeh kisiko hath lagane hi nahi degi.
Nandini: It's my duty, now you can take her home and Aastha this chocolate for you.
Aastha: Thank you Nanhi didi. Bye.
Nandini: Bye.
She went back and started her rounds and then continued with her appointments.
At lunch time when she was with her colleague, completed her lunch her phone rang taking her attention.Seeing that Manik is video calling her she got a big smile on her face.
Her colleague: Ohho Nandini, someone special calling.
Nandini: Yeah Manik is calling.
Colleague: Ok then I will leave, meet you later.
Nandini immediately picked her phone.
Nandini: Hi Manik, how are you?
Manik: I am fine Shona, you tell how are you?
Nandini: I am good too, but I miss you, you called me after two days.
Manik: Sorry Shona, I miss you too and I am busy here with the meetings so I could not call you.
Nandini: It's ok Manik, I understand. You are ready for work?
Manik: Yes I am leaving now, so thought to call you before I get busy.
Nandini: That's fine, but have your meal on time don't forget that in your work.
Manik: Yes, madam anything else?
Nandini: Yes, call maa she was asking about you.
Manik: Yeah, I will call after this. You tell had your lunch?
Nandini: Yes I just completed and you know tomorrow we are going for shopping.
Manik: Great, all the best with that because now I know how bored you feel when are you shopping.
Nandini: Yaa yaa and you enjoy that.
Manik: When did I enjoy?
Nandini: I remember when we went to shop for Navya's wedding.
Flashback
All the girls were having fun shopping except for Nandini and boys were sulking.
Navya dragged Nandini and showed her various dresses for her.
Nandini: Navya I don't need dress,I already have it at home which is not at all touched.
Navya: I don't know, just try it go.
Nandini: Cabir, sambhalo isse zara.
Navya: Manik, yeh kaisi ladki hai jo shopping ke liye mana karti hai.
Manik: Nandini, chalo yaar try it. If you don't like it don't buy, simple.
Mukti: Haa yaar ja try kar.
Nandini listening to all went for the trial and came out.
When she came out Navya had another bunch of dresses for her to try.
Nandini: No I am not going to change again.
Manik thought to tease her a little.
Manik: Nandini please try it otherwise this Navya will eat my head.
Nandini: Ugg Manik this is not fair.
Manik: Sorry.
After all the trial Nandini got tired and leaned to Manik.
Manik: Enjoyed shopping Nandini?
She just punched his shoulder and went ahead.
Manik on seeing her irritated laughed and went behind her.
Manik: Nandini listen yaar, Nandini...
Flashback ends.
Nandini: I don't know how will I handle tomorrow.
Manik: You will survive through this Shona, best of luck.
Nandini: Manik, you just come back I will not leave you.
Manik: Acha sorry, I was just teasing you.
Nandini:Abhi aapko late nahi ho raha?
Manik: Arre haa, chalo bye Shona.
Nandini: Bye Manik,take care.
