Harry's pov
"I'm just saying baby" Alexis was giving me a massage while I leaned back and relaxed in my chair
She said I was much to stressed she was murmuring sweet nothings and pleasant affirmations as she worked my shoulders
"I know" I sighed "I know you're right Baby girl" she was teasing me about getting grey hairs early with all the stress I put myself through
"But don't worry I'd still think you're the cutest man I've ever seen" she leaned around giving me a kiss on the cheek I peeked my eyes open and turned my head to catch a kiss
"You're so good to me" I hummed "my good girl" I reached behind her twirling her ponytail on my finger "so beautiful" I cooed
"Yeah you think so?" She mumbled puffing out her bottom lip
"Mhm I do and so does everyone else" I chuckled lightly
There was a knock it sounded like it came from her office door "Come in!" I yelled her door opened and a woman peeked in ,it was Jupiter "do you need something?" I asked a bit upset as Alexis stood up walking back into her office to meet her leaving me out in the cold
"Just the finical report you asked for sure... my computer is still acting weird but I got it to print so I brought it up here"
"Still?" Alexis sighed heavily "I know someone in IT give me a sec I might be able to get him to check out your computer" she dialed a number rather confidently with her nail and put the phone to her ear "Hi is this Jeremy?" She paused "great! Hey this is Alexis can I ask you a favor? If you're not too busy? Mhm well I have a Ms.Jupiter Monroe here her computer is just acting strange... yeah?" She laughed "I dunno but could you be a doll for me and check it out? She's been suffering with it for awhile" she laughed again "fabulous! Thank you Jeremy! Bye!" She hung up looking at Jupiter holding her hand out for the report "he said he's heading up now"
"Oh wow thank you" she smiled nervously
"It's no problem he gave me his personal contact number in IT so I always call him he's brilliant" Jupiter left with one more thank you Alexis walked the report to me I rubbed her hips
"I can't get over how bright and bubbly you can be"

I took off early with Alexis to go home I was still very tense but this is the first time I felt this bad since her '12 step program' so there's improvement for sure I used to feel this way at least once a week
Once we got home we took a nice hot bath and watched a movie before bed
I managed to fall asleep but I woke up at around 11:30 ,unfortunately I've been up since
I looked over at Alexis who was very soundly sleeping I rolled on to my side to watch her for a moment
Her bangs were a mess sticking up in all different directions laying partly over her eyes ,she very desperately needed them trimmed, I reached over brushing them from her eyes
I turned over grabbing my phone
1 am
I bit my lip opening my contacts I scrolled down to my sister's number
She should be 9 months by now...
They are 6 hours ahead so it's around 7 am there
I stood up slipping out of bed silently as I pressed the call button
It's been years since I called her number
I stood outside my bedroom door far enough not to disturb Alexis but close enough I could hear and see if she were to wake up
"Hello?" I was shocked as the unmistakable feminine voice answered
"Gemma" I responded not thinking I'd even get this far
"Harry?" She questioned "why are you calling me?"
"I just wanted to check in on you... you're 9 months along now right?" I wanted her to change her mind so badly so she would let me be there for the birth of my nephew
"Harry I'm busy"
"It's 7 in the morning why are you busy?" I questioned
She groaned "good bye" she hung up
I held the dead phone to my ear a few seconds longer reality didn't set in quite as fast as it should have
I frowned deeply and lowered it staring at her name on my screen
But another name appeared...

I lowered my thumb onto the green button holding it there for more than a few seconds just processing I lifted my thumb watching the screen change and the little call timer under her name start to count I put my phone to my ear
"Hello?" I asked softly
"What are you doing?" She asked very monotoned
My jaw dropped hearing the voice I haven't heard in years but could pick out of a crowd at any given time "I-I..." I couldn't think, I couldn't form a sentence
My mind was going a mile a minute buzzing in pure chaos, I had so much to say! so much to ask! But I also just wanted to savor her voice
"You need to let go"
I furrowed my eyebrows "let go of what?" I mumbled
"Just Let It Go" she repeated an edge very clear n' present in her voice
"I don't understand"
"You killed my son!" She hung up
I immediately took my phone from my ear calling her back
She didn't answer
Over and over I called her I stopped at 17 calls not bothering to leave a message after any one of those calls
what I had to say had to be said in real time not over a recording
I was shaking I could barely take in a breath in a moment of just being completely overwhelmed I hummed my phone into the ground
I backed up until my back hit the wall I slid down and tucked my legs up to my chest I had my hands in my hair curling myself up in a ball
"Harry?" I looked up to my name Alexis was at the door she quickly ran over to me squatting down in front of me "Baby hey hey what's wrong?"
"My-my mother-" I was cut off by my own jagged breathing
"What about her?"
"Sh-she said I k-killed my brother"
"What!?" She furrowed her eyebrows "how could she fucking say that?" She asked viciously
"I-I did coke he did heroin" I shook my head "I-I don't understand" I cried
She turned around she grabbed my phone she started to click around "w-what are you doing?"
"I'm calling your mom"
I lounged forward grabbing for the phone "Alexis no!"
"YES" she snatched it back quickly standing up I got up she ran into the room shutting the door I tried to catch the door but it closed and she locked it before I could stop her
I banged on the door "ALEXIS STOP!" I tried the knob again even though I knew it was useless "OPEN THE DOOR NOW" I slammed my hand onto the door making a noise loud enough it hurt my own ears
"Open this door right now Alexis!" I growled I heard a small click "Open It" I hissed
she opened enough to peek out at me "she didn't answer"
"Move out of the way" I stated very monotoned
She slowly stepped away from the door I threw the door open and held out my hand she put my phone in my hand "I just wanted to talk to her" she pouted
I rolled my jaw I know she did this in my best interest but this is really just not the time "don't you ever do that again Alexis do you fucking understand me?"
"Y-yes" I heard her voice tip toward being teary
It felt good that she hurt when I hurt "I'm okay" I bluffed
"No you're not" she cried then hugged me "THATS SO CRUEL AND MEAN" she yelled muffedly into my chest
I sighed heavily I felt a tear slip down my cheek I hugged her tightly "she doesn't know" she squeezed me "Baby she didn't mean it" Alexis reassured me "Someone lied to her!" she was trying her hardest to make me feel better
But honestly right now I'm numb
