Kyra's POV
"Kylie," I whispered again, my heart racing wildly.
"Yes. It's me. Care to explain what that was about?" she snapped, folding her arms. Her eyes screamed many emotions of flaring anger and a burning passion to destroy someone: me.
"Did you..."
"Yes. I saw you kiss my man on the lips. Will you explain what that meant?" Kylie shot at me, moving towards me. I let go of Jayden's hands and faced Kylie.
Jayden intervened. "Kylie, let me explain."
She turned to face him and raised her hand dramatically. "I'm talking to Kyra. You have nothing to do with this."
"I have everything to do with this. I kissed her."
"No. I kissed him. It was all my fault. I..."
"I don't care who kissed who. The end result was the two of you kissing like you were born for it. Jay, tell me it was just a kiss and I'll forget this ever happened," Kylie fumed, her attention now on Jayden.
I looked at him and gave him a small smile. To me it was never just a kiss. It was a burning passion of my life and everything I needed to feel alive.
"It wasn't just a kiss, Kylie. I..."
"Stop! I don't want to hear it. I get it. She's your wife and you're attracted to her. I get it. Attraction is normal."
"Will you let me explain to you what this is about?"
"No. You know what, Kyra and I will do the talking. You stay out of this. Kyra, let's go," Kylie said and she aggressively grabbed my hand. Jayden held hers in the same manner.
"The two of you have nothing to talk about. You and I are the ones who need to talk about us."
"I have nothing to talk to you about. We love each other and that's it. My word, Jayden. I should have never given you this freedom in our relationship. I told you she was a cunning fox. What lies did she tell you?"
"Do not hurt her in any way, Kylie."
"You should have thought about that before kissing her! Do you want her to end up like Natasha?"
Jayden grasped her firmly by her shoulders, making her wince in pain. She let go of my hand. My wrist already hurt.
"If you lay even a single finger on her, I'm breaking up with you, Kylie. I'll not listen to a word you say, I'll simply tell you it's over and once I do, it's irreversible. Actually, I am..."
"I won't touch her! I'm not going to hurt her. Don't you dare break up with me, Jayden."
"Do you still love me, Kylie? Are we still in love? Is our passion still there? Would you choose me over your career?"
"Yes to every question you asked, Jayden. I'll give up everything for you. We just need to sit down and talk. We need to calm down and spend some time together."
"Let's sit down and talk now."
"It's Kyra I want to talk to right now. Just give us our space. We need it. I promise not to hurt her in any way. We are going to talk like civilised adults. I have no intention to harm her in any way. Flavia will kill me."
"What do you want to talk about?"
"Girl stuff, Jayden. It has nothing to do with you."
"It's okay. Let's talk, Kylie. Don't worry. I'll be fine," I finally spoke up. Jayden looked at me and I nodded in assurance. Jayden let go of Kylie and whispered something I didn't hear. She gave him a flat smile and she turned to me.
"My room or yours?" she asked me.
"Yours," I replied. She nodded and led the way. I smiled at Jayden. He looked worried. I was grateful that he defended our feelings for each other. I blew him a kiss and he finally gave me the smile I wanted to see although it was weak.
I followed Kylie to her bedroom. She welcomed me in and I sat on the cushioned stool. She appeared calmer than earlier. She locked the door and went to her bathroom. She came back a few minutes later wearing a white shirt dress. She sat on her bed and grabbed a pillow. She sighed heavily before staring at me.
"Firstly, I want to apologise for nearly hurting you earlier on. I'm sorry for everything I said."
"Well, it's clear you don't really like me."
"It's true to some extent. As my boyfriend's wife, I hate you. As the Kyra I grew up knowing, I don't really have anything against you."
"What do you want to talk about?"
"Jayden. He doesn't love me the same anymore and it's your fault. He's interested in you more than in me. It's all about you these days."
"So just let me have him. I won't lie to you, Kylie. I have feelings for him."
Kylie threw a pillow at me and it hit me in the face. "You had the guts to say that to my face!"
"I can't hide it from you forever. You love him and I love him as well. What's the way forward?" I decided to face her.
"The deal is your divorce is happening, come hail come thunder. I love Jayden with all my heart."
"Do you love him or you're just obsessed with him and don't want to see him with another woman?"
"I do love him."
"So why do you cheat on him? Don't say I'm lying because I've seen many pictures of you online plus in magazines. You've had affairs and you're modelling for an erotic magazine."
"Gee, you're such a stalker. Everyone cheats, but the heart beats for one man. My heart beats for him. All those things on social media are a bunch of lies, Photoshop, rumours and edits. My relationships with most of those men are strictly professional, plus I don't model for erotic magazines anymore."
"Does Jay know about this?"
"So this is your tactic? You want to make me look bad in front of him?"
"That's where we are different. If you've been cheating on him, why can't he do the same? I'm sure there's a guy out there you're seeing and still want to have fun with."
"No. I'm serious about Jay now. I'll quit fooling around and stick to him."
"I'm serious about him as well. Come on, Kylie."
"What are you suggesting?"
"Let me have a relationship with him. You shouldn't interfere."
"And who do you take me for? A dumb psycho? Hell no, Kyra. This conversation is about you backing out. Whatever was between you two should officially end right now. I'm not going to sit still and watch you have your way."
"What if I don't want to?" I challenged her.
"Then I'll use force. You know I'm capable of more than you can imagine. I mean, come on. We both know that he's simply fooling around with you. He wants to try out new and fresh stuff. Has he ever told you he loves you? No. Has he ever fucked you? No. Well, maybe he does kiss you, but we do a hell lot more every single day. I can't even count the number of times we've made love here."
"And you expect me to believe those lies?"
"Deep down you know I'm not lying to you. He's the one lying to you. He's just using you. He wants to get back at me for cheating on him. Whatever he has told you so far are lies. Before he kisses you, he's with me sending me to the moon and back, Kyra."
All the words she told me hurt and crushed me at the same time. I didn't want to believe her, but my emotions got the best of me. I trusted Jay, but what she was saying made sense.
"Truth hurts, huh? Thank me, sweetie. I wish you well. Now open your eyes and don't be a fool."
I grabbed the pillow she had thrown at me and I threw it back at her. "I'm not a fool!"
"Yes, you aren't so don't act like one."
"May I leave now?"
"Sure, but don't forget what we talked about. I don't want to end up hurting you. This conversation stays between us. Don't ever tell Jayden about your feelings."
"Cool. Let's hang out sometime. Maybe I can convince you to give me my husband that way."
"That'll never happen. We can hang out, but you'll never have Jay. I swear on my life."
"Only time will tell, Kylie."
I left Kylie's bedroom and went to the lounge. Our conservation took a turn I didn't expect. She had a plan in mind. I could tell. I met a very hyper Nick who had a lot to share about activities they had done. I spent the rest of the afternoon with him. I couldn't see Jayden anywhere, but Nick did assure me he was with Julius.
Nick and I sat on the couch watching The Gourmet Detective Series. We were eating potato chips and drinking tropical punch.
"You were with Kylie. What happened?"
"She saw Jay and I kiss."
"For real?" Nick asked, turning his full attention to me. He looked fascinated.
"Yes. I thought she was going to cut off my head or something. She was cooler about it than I expected."
"Then she has a plan in mind. If I were you I'd stay out of her way. She's jealous. I was with her all day long. She said Jayden is trashing her for you, which us true."
"Do you think he's really interested in me and not for sex or just fun? Do you think he really likes me?" I asked him softly, in a desperate tone. Nick chuckled and sipped his punch.
"If he wanted you for sex, he'd have done it already. I don't know if you two have already had sex, but I don't think he'd do that to you. I wouldn't let him."
"So what are you saying?"
"I'm saying give him time to talk. Pay attention to him. You'll get your answer. If he loves you, he's probably trying to tell you, but you're not listening. Pay attention."
I thought about what he was saying. Maybe he was right or maybe not. I just had a lot of crazy ideas going through my mind. I didn't know what to believe and what not to believe.
"Hey, Nick. How about you? How's your love life going? Are you seeing anyone?" I asked him. He laughed.
"I'm fooling around with this cute nurse. It's nothing serious."
"When will you try a serious relationship?"
"I don't know, but not now. I'm still enjoying my life as a single man."
Nick was just something else. My life would suck without him. We later on went for dinner then we had a bonfire. Everyone around me was happy. My mom and my siblings were happy. I loved them and their happiness mattered.
The following day would be the big day. I didn't want to cry my heart out or lock myself up. I wanted to mix with everyone and celebrate my dad's life. I was also going to talk to my family that same day. I was really looking forward to our conversation.
Kylie clung onto Jayden for the entire night. She barely gave him any breathing space. She annoyed me a lot by acting that way. She did it just to make me feel bad. I didn't care as long as they didn't kiss and touch in front of me. I didn't want to see it.
I retired to bed earlier than everyone else because I was feeling exhausted and suffocated. I slipped my plain black baggy T-shirt on and pulled on grey knee high socks. I drank the pills I was on for pain relieving and my head hit the pillows right after that.
My gifts from Jayden were still in his bedroom otherwise I'd have loved cuddling up with my teddy and rereading all the cards he had given me. He was so sweet and he made me feel loved. I missed him a lot even though I had seen him a few minutes ago. I wanted us to cuddle up and make out. I wanted to feel his warmth.
I fell asleep thinking of him. I was at peace when I fell asleep, but I was troubled a few moments later. I had horrible nightmares. Everything was just crazy and confusing. It was like an entire combination of my incident with Trevor and the day Dad and I crashed.
I woke up screaming my lungs out. I was panting and sweating. My heart drummed and I felt like my entire body was burning up. It hurt a lot and I was terrified.
The door flew open in less than a minute. Jayden stormed in, worry and concern lacing his face. I was trembling. I hugged him desperately.
"Kyra, are you okay? What happened?" Jayden panted, holding me even tighter.
"Nightmare.... It.... it was horrible. I..."
"Shhhh... It's okay. I'm right here now. It's just a dream. Breathe, Kyra. Breathe."
I took deep breaths while gripping onto his T-shirt aggressively. I was glad he came just on time otherwise I would have taken a long while to calm down.
Jayden poured me a glass of water and he gave it to me. I drank it in a hurry and choked on it. He took the glass from me and helped me drink it slowly. I felt much better, but I was still shaken.
"Did I wake you?"
"No. I came in just now. I was with Layton, discussing a couple of business issues."
"What about Nick and Kylie?"
"They're drunk and having fun somewhere outside. Are you okay?"
"No. I need you to stay here with me. I'm scared. Close the door."
"Okay. I won't leave. I'll stay with you. Let me close the door," he said and I let go of him, nodding. He stood up and went on to close the door. He locked it.
He came back to me and hugged me again. His hugs were warm and comforting. He pulled away and pecked my lips.
"Should we talk about Kylie now or later? She told me a lot of stuff. A hell lot of dramatic stuff and she wants to start over."
I put my index finger on his lips. "I don't wanna hear anything about her. Even if you start over with her, you can't get rid of me, Jayden. Kiss me, Jay. Right now."
I loved how Jayden responded to my instructions without being told twice. He smashed his lips onto mine hungrily and he pushed his tongue into my mouth. I welcomed him in and wrapped my arms around him.
With a surge of heat coursing through my veins, I exerted a deeper pressure and found his tongue with mine. In his arms, all my fears and insecurities disappeared. I felt safe and alive. I matched his kiss with equal fervor, heightening our excitement and inflaming us both beyond rational thought or reason.
We both pulled away and stared at each other, panting heavily.
"Do you want something more or you want to cuddle up and go to sleep?" Jayden asked me, massaging the back of my head with his hand.
"I want more," I replied almost too quickly, making him chuckle. In a split second, I was under him, my legs sprawled open with him between them.
He slated his sensual lips onto my swollen ones and claimed me completely. I whimpered in pleasure, feeling his erection poke my inner thigh. He was hard and he started grinding passionately against me. He swallowed all the sounds I made as he never broke our kiss.
Heat pooled between my legs. My entire body was on fire. My entire body demanded that I found release in some way, any way, every way I could.
Jayden pulled away from the kiss, giving me a chance to breath. He took off my T-shirt and discarded it on the floor roughly. I was completely exposed to him with my panties and socks as the only clothing I had on.
Jayden targeted my breasts. I lost all sense of control and decency in me. The gentle scrape of his teeth over my sensitive nipples, the rough laving of his tongue, the way he sucked me and and swirled his mouth over my nipples.... My vision blurred and pleasure pooled between my legs with frightening speed.
Jayden trailed open mouthed kisses downwards to my belly. I didn't want to lose the delicious sensations flowing through me.
Jayden reached my navel and he planted a soft kiss there. He moved further downward and I knew his destination. It was too much for me to handle. Jayden played with the waistband of my panties and in a fluid motion, he pulled them down my thighs, all the way to my feet until he completely removed them.
I felt self conscious and I covered myself with my hands. No one had ever seen me in this state of nudity before. Not even Jayden.
"Don't be afraid. It's okay. I won't hurt you."
"I've never done it before."
"I know. You'll love it. Don't be shy. I've already seen and loved your body, Kyra. Relax. You can stop me if you don't like it," Jayden convinced me, placing soft kisses on my belly. I trusted him. He knelt on the carpeted floor and kissed my thighs.
I let him slowly remove my hands from my womanhood. He slowly parted my legs until they were spread open. He softly kissed my inner thighs, making me produce sounds I had never heard myself produce before.
He softly knocked me backward onto the bed. He slid his hand beneath my backside, dragging me closer and tilting her hips toward him. Then to my shock and utter pleasure, he kissed my core and spread my folds.
He slid his tongue across my exquisitely sensitive flesh, sweeping away my wetness as he swirled his tongue around and around. Jayden held me in place with his strong hands, his head buried between my legs.
My cries of pleasure echoed in the room as I fisted the sheets. He licked me up and down, tasting and teasing, flicking his tongue over my clit and then diving into my sex, sliding in and out in an incredible rhythm.
I began to lift my hips to meet him, moaning in pleasure as he relentlessly feasted on my body. I loved it more than anything else in this world. He gave me release over and over again, but he never stopped.
I was completely exhausted and drained out. My vision blurred and I threw my head back. Jayden stopped some minutes later and he came up to my face. I could barely open my eyes.
Jayden placed a soft kiss on my lips and I felt a blanket cover me. A few minutes later, he was behind me, spooning me. He kissed my shoulder. I slowly drifted to sleep, peaceful sleep.
"I love you, baby," I heard a soft murmur. It was either my imagination playing tricks on me or it was just a dream.
