And here she pays for yesterday!
Told you not to mess with Kabeer Mittal !
"Learn some mannerism Mr.Mittal ! And keep the daring to solve the matters of outside the office , outside only ! " She said her sassy voice a bit heavy!
"Oh! Miss. Bajaj! Did I hurt that small ego of yours" I mocked and she glared me!
"Okay come on! I know this wasn't that bad idea! I'm sure you must be having more pros and many ideas about the venture which would minimize the losses right! " I smirked and she looked at me unbelievably.
"You're unbelievable Mr.Mittal. Just for a small revenge you're messing up with India's two biggest companies venture!" she accused and I smirked more
"First,everything is fair in war! And secondly who said I'm letting go this venture! Say a sorry for yesterday and I'll proceed the work" I affirmed and she chuckled humourlessly!
"Meri jutti bhi na sorry bole (Even my shoe will not say sorry) to you Mr.Mittal ! If that's a loss to me then it will be equally loss to you too! After all equal shares of both companies are on stake! And I very well know neither I nor You will want this loss!! " she asserted !
Well, I know she's an amazing businesswoman!
"Whoa! Not bad Ms.Bajaj. Working for years in one of the best companies of US helped a lot I see" I avowed and she looked shocked at me!
"You...You're a vamp" she shouted and I glared her
"Voice down Ms.Bajaj ! A sorry would work" I repeated and she laughed
"You know what Mr.Mittal ! Go to hell ! I too know, you yourself will pass the contract! So to do the hell with you. I know you just did it to defame me in front of a bunch of people.And you did that amazingly. What did you thought that I'll beg in front of you and those people to listen to me! In your dreams Mr.Mittal! I am not that weak " She stated.
Well I too know you're a hard nut to crack and weak..not at all !
That's something I knew two days ago at 11:15 am !
" But my work of insulting you in front of people is done! Just the way you did! Tit for tat !!" I mocked
" You're a shrewd man Mr.Mittal but unfortunately you played from backfoot. My dad once told me one thing Mr. Mittal ! Always give answer to any of person's action on their face! Not on their back! Showing back is the quality of coward!! One is standing in front of me right now! " She commented and I glared her
"Mind your tongue Ms.Bajaj! "I warned and she smirked.
Never in my life I've seen such a sharp tongued woman!
" Get a grip Mr.Mittal. Loosing in front of a Newbie doesn't suit your status! Next time be a man and play from front foot openly " She sassed and I looked furiously at her!
She turned her heels and was about to go when I grabbed her wrist and pulled her causing her collide with my chest!
A gasp left her mouth and she struggled to leave from my hold! I tightened my hold on her wrist and looked furiously at her!
"Do you want me to show how to be a man Ms.Bajaj " I said menacingly and she looked in to my eyes!
"Leave my hand Mr.Mittal ! " She protested
"I told you not to mess with me! Nobody ever dared to do this to me!" I accused and she gritted her teeth!
"I did it and I will do that if you will keep doing your shit! Leave my hand !!! " She shouted and I looked at her leaving her hand.
"Screw you Mr.Mittal !" She snapped and taking her bag went out while at the door I looked at the only audience standing!
What the hell did I do!
How can I leave her just like that.
She shouted on me! The Kabeer Mittal.
And I left her even when she kept mocking and shouting at me.
But you've to admit that you've never met anyone so bold and daring as her!
I looked at the invader on the door who was raising his eyebrows at me and then narrowing his eyes at me!
"What" I gritted and he came near me putting his hand on my forehead !
"Stop your non sense Aayush" I grumbled
" You...didn't call security for her" He asked and I glared him
"No I mean you even listened to her. You didn't throw her out! I saw that. You don't listen to anyone ever. And even your phone, mac book and chairs are at their own place" he grinned and I rolled my eyes at him.
"I....I am getting grip over my anger" I scoffed and he laughed
"Lier Lier! Bum on fire!! Says the one who fired his 36th PA just four days ago only because your coffee had 2 cubes of sugar in it. So did any magic happen in these two days" he wriggled his eyebrows at me!
I know what's going to come from his mouth next but before that I stopped him.
"Not a crap from your mouth right now otherwise I'll kick you out of the office!" I warned and he put his hands on heart faking hurt!
Drama queen!
Why the hell is he even my best friend!
And why the hell am I tolerating him from past 26 years!!
"Why didn't you attend the meeting" I asked changing the topic
"Who the hell keeps meeting at 9 in morning. I was sleeping! And moreover I am leaving for my moon-moon in three hours" He grinned like a teenage boy and I sighed!
I'll leave from here otherwise I'll bang either his head or my head on table!
It's been a week since the office incidence with Ms.Bajaj.
After that I didn't see her or bump in her as always!
We met four times and out of four she bumped into me thrice!
But why am I even thinking about her.
It's good that my life is less of a mess like her. A 2 year kid is better then her! She's literally so annoying and clumsy! If she would've been a man I would've punched her !!
I was currently sitting in my cabin working on a presentation when I received Dad's call !
I sighed and picked it up!
"Yes dad" I asked
"I want to talk to you" He said
"Quiet serious! Is everything fine" I asked
"Yes! Just come home" He told
"You can come to my penthouse dad" I stiffened and he sighed
"Fine! I'll be there" I said and hanged up !
I too drove to my penthouse and my cook had already prepared lunch!
Soon the bell rang and I opened the door!
"Good noon dad" I wished and he smiled
"Good noon son! How's everything in office" He asked as we settled in dining table.
"Everything's great! Let's have lunch first" I told and he nodded!
Why does I feel uneasy !
Shrugging off the thoughts we had our lunch discussing few projects!
After lunch we settled in living room and I looked at dad!
"I am sure the talks of office weren't the reason to bring you here" I asked and he sighed!
"I've chosen a girl for you" He abruptly said and I blinked my eyes!
"I already assigned a new PA dad" I told
"I'm not saying a girl for your PA Kabeer! It's about your life" He said and I rolled my eyes
" Care to explain" I asked
"I've chose a girl for your marriage" He shot the bomb and I looked at him!
"I don't like such lame jokes dad! Tell me why you're here. I've a meeting in next hour" I told looking at my watch
"Do I look like I am joking Kabeer Mittal! It's you who've made a joke of your life! You're 28 and people are already well settled at this age" He pointed out
"Does marriage means well settled! I am owing properties all over the world dad. I'm running businesses over the world! I've power,pride and property! Just having a woman to share all this isn't well settlement" I argued back
"Who's saying to just have woman to share all this with! I want you to share your life with her! Life's very long son and having one partner with you makes it easy to live! I can't see you ruining your life just like that!" He countered and I looked at him!
"I am happy with my life dad and I don't want to share it with anyone. And I choose to live alone unlike you dad! Sharing one life with two partners" I countered back and he glared me!
"You're getting engaged this week" He announced standing up
"You can't decide what I'll do and what I'll not! That's my life" I argued
"And you're my son! I know very well what is good for you and what not" He said
"Yes you know it very well that's the reason you bought another woman just after an year my mother died!!" I shouted and he looked at me with an expression of hurt!
"That woman is your mom Kabeer" He reasoned
"You forgot to add step before that word and wait..she's just your wife Mr. Gautam Mittal. My mother was Mrs.Isha Mittal and will always be her! No one else ever! Remember that" I retorted and stood up from my place.
"Son! I am not your enemy. I am your dad! I don't know why you are against marriages but I always want you to be happy. " He said patting my shoulder when I looked at him.
"Where were you dad when I needed you the most! You want to know right why I am against these so called marriages and this shit of love..because they don't exist! And you made me believe that! People say person die but love don't ! You loved my mom right! Then why weren't you loyal to her even after she died! Why you gave her place to some another woman in your heart and in your home! Your love for mom died the day my mom died" I shouted and a hard hand came in contact with my cheek!
"My love for your mom was neither less not will ever be less! I loved your mom that day and I love her that much till today! And Kabeer Mittal , remember Isha was my first love and will always be! That doesn't mean Maya is nothing to me! She too is my life now!
And Kabeer you will for sure get married ! I see how you don't ! Remember, I'm your dad, not you!!! " He pestered
"And why you think I'll listen to you" I asked folding my hands
Do he really think he can force me!!!
"Because the Mittal Enterprises has 12% shares on the name of Isha Mittal and I'm sure you'll not want to loose them to Maya" He emphasized on each word and I looked at him shocked!
The person who's speaking Right now is definitely not my dad!
He's The businessman Gautam Mittal!!
"This is blackmailing dad. You can't do this!" I shrieked
"Try me young man! I can and I will ! Decision is up to you. Want Isha's shares on her name only or on Maya's name" He asked.
I can't believe my own dad is behind ruining my life getting me married to anyone!
"You're ruining two lives. And what if the girl denies" I asked and he looked at me.
"She won't !! " He said tapping my shoulder.
"Fine I'm ready but the day I get engaged I want mom's shares on my name" I told
I can live with a fake engagement better then marriage !!
"I'm more clever then you Kabeer Mittal. My genes are running in you, not your genes! What do you think that just a name sake engagement and then no marriage. No son. The day you get married you'll get the shares" he said and I gritted.
I can't loose mom's shares to that woman!
They're hers!!!
"Fine! I am ready to get married" I spoke and he smiled as if won a battle.
"Your life will take an amazing turn Kabeer! Trust me" Dad patted and I smiled painfully.
"I trust you dad. My life will take one hell of the turn due to you" I said which he surely ignored and I too went out heading towards office.
I was in my office's conference room working on my mac book for the presentation when my phone beeped!
It was a message from dad with a pic, which shook me to core!!!
I couldn't find anyone better then her for you! You both gonna make a great pair.
Out of 662 million girls in India and dad found this girl!!
I took the paper glass from desk and threw it on the large projection screen which shattered down!
My anger was on peak!
First my dad force me to marry and that to with the person I hate the most!
I kicked chairs and threw the glass table upside down breaking it into millions of pieces!
"You'll say no to this marriage Ms.Bajaj ! I will marry anyone for Heaven's sake but not you! " I shouted to myself throwing the mac book on the door panting heavily!
Suddenly the door opened and my secretary looked at me and gulped down!
"Who gave you permission to come here!" I asked
"Si..Sir ac..mee..meeting.." She stammered when I clenched my jaws.
"You Are Fired" I said calmly but deadly
"So..sorry si.." She was saying when I shouted
"Fired! Out now" I raged and she ran away from there!!
I took the water bottle and drank the whole water from it!
The conference room looked as if an earthquake just came here!
I went out to the reception table and looked at Emily!
"Get the conference room cleaned and repaired in half an hour! And assign a new secretary " I ordered and she nodded frightened.
I went to my cabin and shut the door!
My life is screwed ! Screwed badly!!
