Kabeer's POV
I opened my eyes when curtains of my room opened.
"Good morning sir! Mr and Mrs.Mittal's waiting for you downstairs" house staff said and I gritted my teeth!
What a bad start of day!
I got ready in my crisp grey suit and went downstairs.
"Good morning Kabeer" she wished from the dining table and I looked at her glaring.
Why she can't just keep quiet!!
"Dad! I'm leaving" I said and was about to move when dad stopped me.
"At least have breakfast son" Dad told
"Thanks dad! But I was here yesterday just for the work and I'm leaving! Have meetings in office" I told and went towards parking and sitting in my car I drove off to office.
Entering my cabin I found my secretary already there.
"Good morning sir" She wished and I nodded.
"Schedule today" I commanded and she did as was told.
After the first meeting was over I waited for CEO of Bajaj's to show up but it was already 11:10 !
Well she's ten minutes late and I don't entertain latecomers!
"Ms.Sana the meeting is over" I said
"But sir" she was saying when I looked up from my mac book !
"Meeting Is Over!" I repeated glaring her and she nodded gulping!
"O..Ok sir. I'll inform outside" She said and ran away from cabin while I got my best friend's call !
"A video call meeting of half an hour! Will reach after that" I told before he could speak!
"Whoa! But what about your as always 'stop disturbing me' " He mimicked me and I sighed!
How am I even tolerating a monkey from last twenty six years!
And more important question is..
Why am I tolerating him!!
"Shut up and get ready for a suicide " I said and he laughed hanging up!
What? I was serious! Marriage is off course a suicide!
Don't know how even in this era people believe in this true love shit!!
I was at the end of an important meeting when suddenly I heard some hustle and bustle outside the cabin!
Pausing the meeting I went outside to see a girl's back !
Long sleek legs with perfectly fitted navy blue trousers and coat and a high pony reaching down her waist !
Long hairs!! Not bad!!
Ugh! Shut up Kabeer!!
" Yes madam but it's 11:15" my receptionist replied and the girl chuckled .
Oh so finally Ms.Bajaj showed up !
"That's same" she told !
No Miss! It isn't !
"According to sir it's not and his next meeting has started few minutes ago" she informed her.
Exactly!!
"Isn't that so informal of your Sir Ms.Emily ! He could've waited for freaking five minutes. Such a Pathetic man! " she seethed.
Pathetic!
Doesn't she know where she's standing and about whom she's even talking!
That's these girls biggest problem !
Back bitching!
And When I'll be in front of her she'll be buttering her late coming!
"It's informal of you Ms.Bajaj" I gritted and she turned around looking at me with her mouth slightly open, while I smirked!
Here she goes like any other girl!
"Done checking me out then you can go Ms.Bajaj. You're wasting my employee's time" I shot and she looked at me frowning!
Looks cute! Wait what! She doesn't!!
" First thing have some business etiquettes Mr.Mittal and secondly I was not checking you out!" she shot back and I raised my eyebrow!
Now she'll teach me business etiquettes!!
"Miss Bajaj you're late and meeting is dismissed. Get another appointment from my secretary and then come. Don't waste my time" I snapped and started walking past her.
"I was on time! She didn't allow me in the cabin and you can't dismiss a whole meeting just because I was five minutes late" she shouted when I turned looking at her!
She raised her voice !
In front of me!
In my own office !!
How dare she!!
I went near her with my hands in the pockets of my trousers and looked into her dark brown doe eyes.
" Remember where you're standing and next time come when you know the importance of time! My each minute is important and I don't like to waste my time on unprofessional people like you. Get time management classes first" I spat and she glared me back.
"I know in whose office I am standing but I guess you lack common etiquettes! Get moral classes first" she shouted stomping her foot but stumbled and was about to fall when unknowingly my hands grabbed her waist saving her from kissing the floor!
Her dark brown doe eyes are the best pair of eyes I've ever seen.
Stop it Kabeer!
She freed herself and standing away from me looked at the receptionist.
"My PA will talk afterwards about the meeting. Thankyou" she said and walked away from there!
How dare she shout on me!! And wait, she walked over me!!
What does she think of herself!
Unnecessarily pampered brat !
Speeding up my car I reached my pent house and got ready in black tuxedo with a blush pink tie and went to the resort!
Themed and all!!Phewww!!!
This all is crap. Nothing else.
And I've to attend this crap just because this is my best friend's crap!!
Parking the car and wearing the shades, I went inside ignoring the Paparazzi!!
"Kabeer!! My Koochy koo!! Long time" Aayush yelled and came running towards me and hugged me!
Koochy koo!!
What the hell is that!!!
"Damn! You're choking me , ruining my tux" I said and he laughed handing me the boutonniere that was also something similar to theme!
Why does he laugh so much!
I swear, Sometimes I feel to make him teethless!!
"Oh it's a long time we met" He said again and I looked at him!
"We met yesterday only" I replied raising my brow and he gave me a smug look!
"I'm so excited to make you meet my Anna" He grinned!
My? Like seriously!
How can he be so mushy!!
Well he's marrying an NRI from US whom I've seen just in photos!
I hope she's a little sensible and mature otherwise they both are ending up burning the world!
But yeah, he looked amazing in his wedding tuxedo with that pink tie and the same boutonniere that he handed me.
We went inside and soon the bride in lavish White wedding gown was here walking down the aisle with her dad and a bridesmaid!
I was standing behind Aayush when my eyes fell on the same dark brown orbs!
Ms.Bajaj!!
Day already ruined and evening too ruined now!!!
She was looking beautiful in her blush pink evening gown which was obviously cherry blossomed theme and her hairs were open now falling on her face as she was looking after the veil of Anna!
Beautiful? Umm..she is!!
Wait, I guess she hasn't seen me till now!
They walked over and Ms.Bajaj stood behind Anna.
"Baani ! Hold the flowers" Anna whispered and it's now when she looked at us!
And as soon as she looked at me her doe eyes widened more!
"You" she shouted and everyone looked at her while I glared her!
Is she mad or what!! In the morning teaching me ethics and right now shouting here like mads!
"Sush" The father gestured and she glared me!
"Kabeer! She's her bestfriend Baani! You know Shishir uncle right. She's his daughter! The new CEO of Bajaj's" Aayush whispered and I looked at her while she was muttering something under her breath!
The wedding rituals started and ended in some time ! We went to the reception hall !
My bestfriend is married and I sighed!
Why do people even marry! I mean come on, you can live your life without marrying too!! All you need in life is work, power and money!! Everything else is a lie!!
Soon the first dance took place and Anna and Aayush looked so happy.
I hope this happiness last forever! I hope because he's my best friend and I just want to see him happy!!
I was standing with my glass of champagne when Aayush came to me and dragged me to Anna and Ms.Bajaj!
He's not going to listen anyways!!
"Baani, he's my only bestfriend since toddling days , Kabeer Mittal and Kabeer she's Anna's bestfriend as I told you, Baani " He introduced!
Least he knows about the morning incident, and better if he never knows !
She was standing there glaring me !
"Baani ! You love blue eyes right! See he has the same" Anna squealed and Ms.Bajaj looked at her mouthing a shut up while I smirked !
"Kabeer! " Came a voice and I turned to look Mr.Bajaj with dad!
"Hello uncle! " I wished and he patted my shoulder!
"Hello there Baani" Dad wished and she smiled showing her pretty dimples!
"Hello uncle! Nice to see you here" She wished dad
"So I guess you met Kabeer" He asked and she looked at me
"We had a quite good meeting in the morning" She said with a tight smile and I glared her!
Very sarcastic !!
"Is that so son! That's great" dad exclaimed and I looked at him!
He's being happy as if it's a big deal!
"Well uncles since they're bridesmaid and groomsman a dance is a must isn't it" Aayush nudged and I shot a glare to him while he grinned!
"Of course! Go Baani" Mr.Bajaj said and before she could deny Anna pushed her towards me!
I just hate this all, still I know I've to do it..and why!! Because I'm right now surrounded by cameras!!
"What the..Anna" She was saying before which I took her hand moving in center!
"Leave me Mr.Mittal" She seethed
As if I want to hold you!!
"As if I'm willing to hold you" I replied and before she could say anything the song started!
She was about to go when I pulled her by waist and she jumped !
Monkey!!
"Stop making a scene! Media's there and I guess you know it's common for a bridesmaid and Groomsman to dance." I told and she looked at me gritting her teeth muttering something before placing her hand on my shoulder!
"Be 2 Feet Away from me " She warned and I smirked
"Go yourself! I Am Not Your Slave Ms.Bajaj" I shot back.
"You know you're a jerk" She commented and I glared her!
"Did anyone asked your advice Miss Bajaj" I asked
" Who's even interested to give advices to you" She muttered
"Then shut your mouth and dance" I dictated
"Mr.Mittal this is not your office and I'm not your employee whom you can tell what to do and what to not! So you should also shut your mouth and dance" She commented back with a tight smile and I clenched my jaw!
Ever seen scissors!! How they work!!
Her tongue is none less then it!!
Soon the song came to an end and I removed my hand from her waist and went away from there!!
After the dinner and cake cutting , I was busy on a call when suddenly I heard some cheers of Anna's name.
I went back inside while messaging on the phone when suddenly I bumped into a soft body and I fell with a thud with Ms.Bajaj on me and there came a bouquet on us !
"Ouch" She whined and I looked at her doe eyes!
"Watch and walk. Or else don't leave your house if you can't walk properly " she groaned and stood up adjusting her hairs !
I too stood up and everyone cheered my and her name name!!
For what? I don't know!
It's after some seconds when Aayush smirked looking at my hand's direction and my eyes too went there, I realized the thing in my hand!
The floral bouquet of Anna in my hands!
No ways!!!
Does that mean I'm going to get...married!
No ways! This all is senseless!
I don't believe in all this shit!!
"That's not mine" I announced and threw it towards Miss Bajaj!
Why did you throw it then Kabeer!!
Did anyone ask you l, you sub conscious!!
"Wait what! That's not even mine!" She shouted and threw it back to me!
What the hell! It's not mine too!!
! I looked at Anna and gave it back to her!
"Baani! Keep it please! It came on you both!" Anna said
"But it was in his hands! That's not mine and I don't want to get married" She stated looking at me!
As if I want to !

I don't believe in marriages!
"Please! For me" Anna pleaded and she sighed taking it !
"So you're the next one in line to get married Baani" Aayush exclaimed
"How about marrying the owner of Ghirardelli, just to get lots of chocolate ice creams everyday" Ms.Bajaj grinned and I looked at her unbelieveble!!
Seriously!
What is she!!
A four year kid!!!
"Oh then I and Anna are shifting with you" Aayush sang and I face palmed myself!
I am surrounded by idiots!!
The wedding was over and I came to my penthouse changed and slept!!
It was another day's morning and my cook cum care taker of penthouse was on an ill leave!
I was in no mood to cook a breakfast hence headed to the nearby cafe from my penthouse!
As soon as I entered the cafe,
I bumped into the same doe eyed person !!
