With a sigh, Annabelle dropped yet another headless body of one of her victims.
However, instead of doing as she wanted and going to find yet another person to make as her victim, she suddenly stopped when she saw a scribble of words appearing on the asphalt.
As she tilted her head to the side, she stared down at the asphalt with furrowed eyebrows and simply took in the words that were appearing on their own accord.
As she started to frown, she quietly read to herself, "If you really want to know what actually happened to William all those years ago, then you will follow my instructions and head straight to where you and Kol stayed before you returned to Mystic Falls."
After scoffing to herself, she asked, "And why the hell would I do that? In case you're too dense to realize this, William has been dead for a little over three-hundred years now. Mikael killed him. Why should I care enough to follow the orders of someone I have yet to meet?"
Then another scribble of words appeared, which made Annabelle sigh to herself as she read over them and muttered the words to herself, "Because, Annabelle, last I heard, you never even found his body. So, unless you're too dense to realize this, your father lied to you. Now meet me, or don't meet me. It's entirely up to you."
Then just like that, the words disappeared.
After groaning to herself, Annabelle kicked the head of her previous victim aside and sped out of the alleyway and quickly snapped the neck of another person before she turned the key into the ignition of said person's vehicle and started to drive out of town.

Because of just how impatient Annabelle was with just about anyone, the one who demanded Annabelle's presence wasn't the least bit surprised when she found that Annabelle was tearing into the neck of a young man while waiting.
After hearing all kinds of stories about Annabelle Mikaelson while growing up, she couldn't help but feel a bit proud to find herself actually meeting the unstable Original vampire that she heard so much about.
In her opinion, Annabelle could be a bit more dangerous than her brothers, simply because of her short temper alone.
The only downside to Annabelle being so dangerous was that she could quite easily lose herself in her own bloodlust, which would make her unaware of her own surroundings.
And that disappointed her greatly.
So instead of trying to get Annabelle's attention in a normal way, she simply waved her hand and watched as the young man's neck had snapped, which got Annabelle to quickly raise her head and look over at the young witch with narrowed eyes as her veins came onto display.
Without so much as a single word being said between either of them, Annabelle sped towards the young witch and slammed her back into a wall before she said, "You better have a damn good reason for doing that just now."
The witch smiled as she stared down at Annabelle and said to her, "Oh, but I do, Annabelle. I think it's about time that we meet. I'm Dorothy Sullivan." When Annabelle only raised an eyebrow at her, Dorothy told her, "I'm the one who– shall we say– suggested you come meet me here."
Annabelle scoffed as she eyed Dorothy and asked her, "You really expect me to believe that you willingly chose to agree with coming to meet me, when it's well known of how I had tricked several nomadic witches and those in covens into working for me after I had made their lives be in danger in order to make them in debt to me for as long as they had lived?" When Dorothy nodded her head, Annabelle said, "You must be quite dense to think that I'd actually believe you. Because the last that I heard, I was an enemy to all witches everywhere. Why the hell would you want to meet me?"
Dorothy tilted her head as she stared down at Annabelle before she replied, "Let's just say that things have changed in retrospect for me." When Annabelle only raised an eyebrow at her, Dorothy chuckled and said to her, "Okay, fine, you got me. I was expelled from my, uh, coven a couple years back and ever since, I've been gathering witches to form my own coven in order to get back at them. I mean, sure, my mother joined me, and she specifically told me not to go after the coven that my former coven had allied themselves with, but still. I think we could really help one another, if it comes down to it. And before you ask, the coven they allied themselves with doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that I can help you and you can help me, okay?"
Instead of giving Dorothy a straight answer, Annabelle simply stared at Dorothy with a blank look on her face before she said, "I wasn't going to ask which coven it was."
Dorothy replied, "Of course you weren't. I mean, who would? I sure wouldn't—"
Annabelle sighed as she closed her eyes before she said, "Just get straight to the point, Dorothy." When Dorothy didn't respond, Annabelle said to her, "Either you get straight to the point, or I leave, and you have to handle this mess that you've gotten into by yourself."
Dorothy also sighed before she said, "Fine. I'll tell you. My, uh, coven, you could say, and I have reason to believe that William isn't dead."
Annabelle scoffed as she said to Dorothy, "Of course he's dead. How couldn't he be dead? I mean, Mikael told me himself."
Dorothy said, "Yeah, but think about it, Annabelle. Mikael's the very same person who hunted you and your siblings down for countless centuries. Surely someone who wanted to kill you and your family wouldn't be the slightest bit trustworthy, right?" Just as Annabelle started to turn her back on Dorothy, Dorothy quickly pulled a folded piece of paper out of her pocket and yelled, "J-Just look at this! Okay? Just-Just look at it."
After sighing to herself, Annabelle started to turn her head and insist that William had been dead for three-hundred and eight years, only to stop when she saw the sketch of a young man's face on the paper.
After a couple seconds of silence, Annabelle asked, "Where did you get this?" When Dorothy didn't respond, Annabelle quickly grabbed Dorothy by the front of her neck with a tight grip as she said, "Tell me where the hell you got this drawing of William."
Dorothy quickly nodded her head as she said, "O-Okay. I-I'll tell you. I'll tell you." When Annabelle loosened her grip on Dorothy's neck, Dorothy told her, "Shortly before my mom and I were expelled from our coven, she was given this drawing of a man who called himself William. Apparently, he went to all the covens that allied themselves with you and told them everything. He told them how you tricked them into allying themselves with you and what you planned to do if they betrayed you. Then slowly, one by one, each of them had cut ties with you. That's all I know. I swear."
When Annabelle didn't respond, Dorothy started to insist that that was all she knew.
Instead of listening to Dorothy's words, Annabelle stared at the drawing, and it wasn't until she looked at the bottom right corner that she saw the date that was written on it.
On it, the date was written as September 9th, 1723.
It was exactly five years after she was daggered by Klaus, just as she was told by a man that she'd killed almost a week ago.
It was then that a single tear rolled down the side of her face as she stared at the face of the young man that she had once trusted with everything, who not only betrayed her five years after she was daggered, but also made her believe that he was killed while they resided in Spain back in 1702.
As more and more tears rolled down the sides of her face, Annabelle loosened her grip on Dorothy's throat once more before letting go of her entirely.
While clutching at her own neck, Dorothy's eyebrows furrowed as she asked, "Annabelle?" When Annabelle didn't respond, Dorothy asked, "Are you okay?"
Instead of responding, Annabelle sped away from there, but not without taking the drawing out of Dorothy's grasp.
All that was left behind was a particularly confused witch, who didn't quite understand what had just happened.
It wasn't until Dorothy's hand had slowly fell back to her side that she felt something in her pocket.
She slowly reached into her pocket and pulled it out to reveal a phone number written on a piece of paper.
Despite how confused she was about the entire interaction that she just had with Annabelle, she couldn't help but feel gleeful that she was actually going to work with someone with Annabelle's reputation.
And because of that, Dorothy was left unaware of the fact that a flashing was occurring because of her as well.

The very second that Klaus had entered the mansion that he and Annabelle were living in, he found himself staring at Annabelle, who not only had piles of headless bodies scattered throughout the hallways and rooms, but was also repeatedly throwing punch after punch into the walls.
After spending a good portion of his day with Caroline at the Miss Mystic Falls event, the last thing that he wanted to come home to was Annabelle destroying the very home that he had compelled people into building in the first place.
But unfortunately for Klaus, that was the exact thing that he had to deal with.
So instead of dealing with her insolence any longer, he quickly sped towards Annabelle and slammed her back into a wall before he asked, "Annabelle, what the hell is going on?"
Instead of responding, Annabelle only broke down sobbing as she started to heavily shake.
After sighing to himself, he grabbed her by the front of her neck and said, "Tell me what's happening, Annabelle."
Instead of verbally responding, Annabelle shakily reached into her back pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper before she held it out to him.
Klaus eyed the folded piece of paper with furrowed eyebrows before he took it out of her hand and unfolded it to see only the face of William Kelly– Annabelle's former lover who was apparently killed by Mikael three-hundred and eight years ago.
After looking back at Annabelle, he asked, "What does William have to do with it? I thought he was dead."
After sighing to herself, Annabelle cleared her throat and told him, "I thought so, too." Just as he was about to ask what she was going on about, she said, "Look at the bottom right corner."
And that was exactly what Klaus did.
He looked at the bottom right corner to see the exact same date that Annabelle had seen after she had left the day before.
September 9th, 1723.
After looking back at Annabelle, he asked, "Annabelle, what does this mean?"
After clearing her throat once more, she shakily replied, "It means that Mikael had lied to me. He didn't kill William. William is still alive, and he'd spent all of this time making us all believe that he was killed before I was daggered, and we left Spain."
Klaus asked her, "But why would he do that? Why would William lie about this, when you were the one who helped him out of that situation he was in while he was human?"
She whispered, "I don't know."
Klaus sighed before he said to her, "I need answers about this, Annabelle."
Annabelle snapped, "And what, you think that I don't?! I'd only just found out yesterday that William was alive, and he wasn't dead like I thought that he was! Do you really think that you're the only one desperate for answers?! Because you're not!" After choking back a sob, she whispered, "You're not."
After releasing Annabelle, Klaus watched as she fell onto her knees and brought her hands back to her own chest before she sobbed once more.
And while Klaus watched Annabelle sob relentlessly, the familiar sight of the flashing had occurred once more, just as it had occurred both during and after Annabelle's encounter with Dorothy Sullivan.
And unfortunately for Klaus and Annabelle, neither of them were even the slightest bit aware of it even occurring once more.
