It's been a full week, and win hasn't come to school. Bright went to his home, but no one answered.
He didnt see wins car, his friends were clueless as well.
Bright didnt know what to do.
He had no idea why win disappeared all of a sudden, or why he sent that text. Bright called and texted multiple time, and nothing.
All he could do was worry over the younger, and hope he comes back okay. He misses him too. Bright was having a hard time even coping with it, he even wondered if he should get wins parents involved.
"Okay class. That's lunch." All the students quickly walked out the class rushing towards the cafeteria. Bright sat back down in his chair, rubbing the corners of his head to reduce his headache.
"Hey bright, wanna grab a coffee" The history teacher, Mr. Jumpol, asked in a very exciting tone.
"Sorry, maybe not today. I have a huge migraine" Bright groaned.
Mr. Jumpol sighed, that was the 7th time hed asked the teacher to come for lunch, but he always rejected.
"Okay I wasnt gonna say anything but..." Mr. Jumpol walked in the classroom closing the door, locking it. He made his way to bright, and seated himself on the desk.
"What's going on? You've been acting like a grumpy grandpa for like a week now." He complained
"Its nothing, I'm just not in the mood for anything off" Bright explained
"Bullshit" off hissed "is it that win kid you told me about, I see he hasn't been in my class for the past week" Off raised an eyebrow staring at bright.
"This is why you dont mess with children, they are called that for a reason" off jokes
"Oh please" bright scoffed "like you dont make heart eyes at that one student, gun? Am I right?"
Off rolled his eyes and shifted himself
"That's not the point, the point is he is gone, and you obviously did something to cause that" Off snarled
"That's the thing" bright exclaimed "I have no idea what I did. He sent me a text telling me to stay away from him, then he doesnt show up at school." Bright pinched his nose out of frustration.
"Damn. I dont know what to say to that, but hey, just be the grown up okay?" Bright gave him a confused look
"What?" Bright asked
"If he comes back and still doesnt want to talk, dont talk to him, he is a kid remember. He probably found someone else, and just didnt know how to cut if off with you. Be respectful of his decisions and dont ask questions" Off shrugged.
Bright didnt think about that. He didnt think that maybe win was tired of them, and left. Bright knew Win was pissed off about him leaving to go see first, but Bright told Win hed make it up to him.
Brights thought we were interpreted when he heard a knock on the door, he got out of his gaze and went to the door, he unlocked it to then open the door to a worried looking student, the on and only Gun Atthaphan. Bright smirked and turned around to looked at Off.
"What can I do for you Mr. Atthaphan?" Bright asked while letting the small student in.
"Um...its about win....I thought I let you know he said he is coming back tomorrow" Gun was speaking to Bright but was looking at a certain history teacher.
"Oh, did he say where he was?" Gun took his attention off his history teacher and turned to Bright
"N-No, he just said he needed a break, and that hes not coming back alone."
Bright frowned. What does that mean? He asked himself
"Well thank you Gun, I appreciate you letting me know" Gun smiled and walked out the classroom, but not before he glanced at Mr. Jumpol
"Werent you the one who said messing with children is a bad idea?" Bright chuckled
"Fuck off. Hes 18, not a child" off defended. Bright rolled his eyes and sat back down in his chair.
"So you not gonna talk about how Gun said win wasnt coming back alone?" Off questioned
"No." Bright answered "if he found someone I need to be happy for him, it's not like we were dating. If anything I was helping him figure out his sexuality" Brights heart clenched at every word, he knew that he was growing feelings for the younger, and that he would definitely be hurt seeing win walk around campus with a significant other. But he needed to be logical, they wouldnt have worked. It would have been frowned upon to have a student dating a teacher. Plus, win is only 17, hes still young, he should be experimenting, and being a kid.
Off sighed and got off Brights desk
"Just dont loose you shit, or job" Off gave Bright a pat on the back then walked out the classroom.
About 5 minutes later, First walked in with a wide smile on his face.
"Whatre you happy about?" Bright asked while watching the student sit at one of the desk.
"Well.....khao confessed to me today. I dont know how but he found out that I was inlove with him, he then told me he felt the same way but didnt want to ruin the friendship." Bright was astounded.
"Does that mean you were able to tell another person about your crush?" Bright was really curious
"Well that's the thing. I only told you, he said a friend let him know, but he wouldnt tell me who. All I know is that his friend sent him a text about some information he found out about" First explained
A friend? Bright thought to himself. Who would know if I'm the only one First exposed the secret too. Instead of worrying about it, bright brushed it off and decided to be happy for the kid.
"Well First I'm happy for you, but remember dont always depend on khao to make you feel whole and happy okay. You are an amazing person with or without him" Bright compliments
"Thanks bright I'm really happy" First beamed.
Later that day bright was home laying on his bed in his empty apartment. He was bored, and missing win madly. The younger always kept him entertained. They had much to talk about and always seem to waste time together.
The last person to do that was his ex, who bright, loved dearly. Bright walked out to his office and sat down. He took out a file that was in one of his another stack. He looked through and took out an old letter.
Flashback
1 year ago
It was 5 months after Brights breakup with his boyfriend Gulf. They were together for almost 8 years before Gulf met someone else.
Gulf claimed that he wasnt inlove with Bright anymore, and he left him. Bright cried for days, drinked till he passed out, and even lost him house which led him to live with one of his close friends.
On a rainy night Bright was listening to a Podcast. It was about getting over longterm relationships, Bright listening heard something about letter writing.
The person said to write a letter to the person that hurt you, or someone you're inlove with. Write out every feeling you have towards them but then dont mail it.
It was supposed to help you let go a little if you were still hung up over the breakup.
Bright, that night, decided to do one for himself.
Dear Gulf
I loved you so much. The day I met you I knew me and you were someone I would love, and want to protect. I did everything I could for you, to make sure you were happy. I risked lots of happy moments for you, because in my world all that mattered was the smile on your face. I wish I could go back in time and stop you from your meeting with that other man, and help you realize I'm the one of your dreams. I still love you, and I think I'll only ever love you. I wish you'd come back so we could talk, because without you I feel useless.

After writing the letter Bright actually felt weight lift off his shoulders. It made him feel better that he was able to get that all out.
After that night, bright decided he would write one everytime he missed, thought of, or wanted to see gulf.
End of flashback
Bright had the first letter he wrote to gulf in his hands, he made sure to always have it on top to remind himself he doenst love Gulf anymore.
Bright was at peace about every thing that happened. He was even able to meet up with Gulf and discuss everything. In the end they left it all on a good terms, but Bright still had trust issues, he wasnt ready for any serious relationships, fearing that the one he loves the most would leave him.
But it seemed like it was happening again, Bright sighed while he put the letter back, but he noticed something.
The paper looked like it got wet, it seemed to have dry stains on them. Bright didnt know where it was from, but he put the letter back anyways and went to his room.
After a long hot shower, and 3 hours of watching kdramas, bright was off to sleep, awaiting for win to come back with his other.
