GFC Seventeen..
I just watched Ryujin turned her back to me while doing that mannerism of hers. Running her hand through her hair and mess the top of her head. I sighed heavily. What's with this girl? Again? I just can't figure out what's going on inside that head of hers. Ryujin halted on her steps when she noticed I wasn't following behind her. She threw her bagpack over her shoulder and turned around to face me.
"Well? Miss Choi Jisu?" Wow. She really has bipolar disorder. Her mood switches are scary. "Let's go?" She said while kinking an eyebrow.
"Uhm. Where?" I asked dumbly. Lia, of course to go home. "I mean--" I think she found my answer amusing. Her eyebrows that was knitted and the small frown on her face disappeared. Owkay. What was he thinking right now? And Geez. Her hair is taking all of my attention. It was shining under the blazing sun. Her gray hair was almost silver and looked.. silky smooth. Maybe that's the reason why she loves running her hand through the tangles of it.
Ryujin was seriously creeping me out. Her eyes has this weird glow again and she seemed to have to think an idea.. I don't know. She's just hard to read. Just like what I've said, she always have her mood swings.
"Let's go." I raised an eyebrow at her statement.
"Again, where to? Go where?" Psh. Why couldn't she just answer it?
"Date." D-date? Date?!
"E-ehh?" O-out of nowhere? She's asking me out on a date?
"Yeah. Stress and annoyance reliever." Ryujin sighed after saying that.
"What? Why are you annoyed--"
"Shh. I still am annoyed so don't bring that up, okay?" Ryujin interrupted and grabbed my hand dragging me to-- I don't know? I mean, we've never had boring date and.. we kinda both need the distraction? This week has been hella hectic and depressing. We need to unwind.. at least?
"Okay. Let's go on a date." I said with a sigh.
"Tss. I didn't asked you if you wanted to. Don't talk." Ryujin glared at me after saying that. Okay. She sure is weird..
Though mad Ryujin.. is kinda hot.
"Stay here." Ryujin said and patted my head. I was about to say something when she just ran off hastily. I just sat down on one of the benches beside our bags. Geez. I'm sweating so much. I'm still on my uniform and lucky her, she was still on her casual clothes.
I'm not really familiar on where she had brought me. She just said to the taxi driver an address of a park and now, here we are. Amazing, right? I'm the one who lives and she knows more places that I would ever be.
It's like, quarter to four in the afternoon and it was weird for a park to be this isolated. Whether this park is a huge place or not, I don't know. One thing for certain, people doesn't hang around here that much. I barely see any people. I saw like two persons once we arrive in here and they seemed like the staffs in here. Isn't that a little suspicious? Ryujin is not a secret serial killer, right? Stop thinking non sense, Lia! A serial killer couldn't be that gorgeous. Ha. How would I know? Looks could be deceiving.
I sighed and cleared my mind. In all fairness, this park sure is liberating and peaceful. You can definitely sleep on one of the benches here and no one would care. And beside the benches are huge Acacia trees blocking the sunlight. Wind breezes from time to time. How does she know all of these places in here? I can sleep at the well trimmed carpet grass. The huge fountain in the middle added to the appeal of the place. How come nobody comes here?
Too bad we didn't gone to the dorm first to tag Bella along. Psh. Ryujin was just so excited.
Then my thoughts were interrupted when my phone vibrated. It was text from Yuna asking where was Ryujin and I. I responded with just 'Date'. And I realized it was too.. straightforward. And I feel ashamed for texting back like that. But, why am I shy? Do I have something to be shy of? Psh. I don't know!
I hastily shook my head to removed that thought.
"What are you thinking?" I jolted when Ryujin appeared.
"Uhm. Nothing you should know about." I gasped when she suddenly disappeared beside me. Ehh? What was she doing. I stood up and looked where Ryujin was.
"Hi!" She said cheerfully. She was.. laughing. She looked so happy on what she was doing. I couldn't help but smile at her. I wanted to try riding a skateboard too! But I didn't know how to. I feel like I would dislocate a few bones if I try doing that. "What's with the frown?" She said when she stopped in front of me again.
"You're the only one who gets to enjoy it." I hissed and crossed my arms.
"Pfft. Come on." She snorted. "Oh. I forgot to went to the dorm first." Ryujin said upon realizing I was still wearing my uniform.
"You're so excited you forgot a lot of things." I answered and tucked a strands of hair on her ear. She pony tailed her short hair. I don't know. I found it cute.
"Psh. I'm annoyed that's why I forgot." Ryujin rolled her eyes.
"Ehh? Why are you annoyed? I don't--"
"Never mind." Ryujin held out her hand and took my hand to guide me on the skateboard. "It's like a foldable scooter without a handle."
"Psh. You think I'm a child? I know and know how to ride a scooter!" I rolled my eyes at her.
"Everyone knows how to but this is a skateboard." Ryujin mocked and I pouted slightly. "Careful. You're wearing a skirt." Psh. I regretted that I chose the skirt instead of slacks as uniform.
"Yeah, yeah. I got this." I nodded my head and let go of her hand. Ryujin gasped and now I know why she's hooked to this board. "Woo hooooo! The last one to arrive at the end of the pathway is a bitch!"
"What the.. Lia! Be careful!" I heard Ryujin shouted then used the other skateboard that I assume, she rented for the two of us. Shit. Shit. Go faster, Lia! Faster! "Lia!" I just laughed at her. Ha. I thought I would suck--
"Holy! Mommyyyyyy!" I screamed. I didn't saw the hump on the road and braised myself with a nasty fall. I tightly closed my eyes and mouthed a few prayers that it wouldn't hurt that much.
Then I felt an arm circled on my waist and I opened my eyes. And it widened in surprise. How did Ryujin appeared in front of me?! And maybe because I was that heavy and the skateboard hit her leg, Ryujin lost her balance and yeah.. we fell down.
"Holy fuck!" And of course Ryujin was the one who was hurt. I was on top of her and she saved me from falling on my ass. Again.
Ryujin seemed like she can't breathe and she looked in pain. Like, a lot. While me? I don't know what happened to me that I forgot how to function well. Ryujin was groaning underneath me but I was more concerned on how flawless her face was. And then she opened her eyes and looked up to me, yep. I was a goner. Her forehead creased in worry.
"Uhm. Are you alright?" Ryujin asked and I snapped out of it. I hastily got up but.. "HEY!"
"Holy boobs! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! Oh my God! What did I do?!" I panicked. How would I not be?! I accidentally.. elbowed her chest while getting up! Ryujin, I'm also a girl so I understand the pain! Oh my God! And why did I mutter 'Holy Boobs'?! Oh my you perverted asshole, Choi Jisu-yah!
"Fuck." Ryujin groaned and successfully sat up beside her this time. Oh my why! You're so embarrassing, Lia! How can you be that clumsy?! You've never been! You've always been careful and prim!
Ryujin also sat up on the pathway while holding onto her.. left chest.
"God. I feel like I'm going to die." Ryujin muttered under her breathe.
"I'm so sorry, Ryujin. I didn't mean to! I promise!" Why did I sounded so damn defensive?! I really didn't.. but.. I'm not really.. sor-- Ohkay, Lia. Stop your nasty thoughts.
"Are you-- Hey, you have a wound on your knee." Ryujin kneeled down in front of me. E-ehh? Now that she noticed, it stung a bit.
"Uhm. Ryujin?" Ryujin looked up to me with her forehead creased in worry. "I-I'm wearing a skirt." I awkwardly said.
"Oh. S-sorry." Ryujin avoided my gaze and rubbed the back of her neck. "C-come on."
"W-what? Ryujin-ah--"
"To the bench. Your brain was always somewhere, wasn't it?" She said and she held out her hand then stood me up. She circled my hand on her shoulder and brought her hand to my side to support me to walk.
She instructed me to sit down on the bench as I did what she had said. I saw her ruffling on her bagpack and brought out a towel and a bottled water. She kneeled in front of me again. There comes that awkward silence between us. And we couldn't find the courage to look at each other.
"C-can I?" I just nodded my head in response. She slightly lifted my skirt and slowly cleaned the wound with the wet towel. I winced a little. It stings even if it was just water. "Do you have a band aid?" I hummed and get my wallet. I always have a band aid because of my shoes.
I was about to tear it open but Ryujin snatched it away on my hands. I didn't said anything though. I just want he'd her carefully put the band aid on my knee and looked up at me. She was smiling softly.
"Better?" she asked with a grin. "Pfft. Tame yourself. You're all flushed."
"W-what?" I looked at her disgusted.
"You're blushing." Ryujin smirked cockily.
"Shin Ryujin!" I was about to slap her when she ran away from me and ride on her skateboard. "Bitch!" That's what she said when she reached the end of the pathway.
"I'll fucking kill you!" Forgetting my mini accident, I also rude on the skateboard to go after her.
"Catch me first, slowpoke!" Then she laughed. And I couldn't help but smile at her too.

Ryujin and I just raced in circles around the park. Never thought that it was that hard to ride a skateboard. It looked so easy when I see people doing stunts and exhibition with it. They have my respect. They are amazing.
And I fell for a few more times. Luckily, I didn't get another wound or even a scratch. Needless to say, I really did enjoyed it.
"Thank you." I said when she held out a bottled water. She's always ready when it comes to things like this. Sugoiiii.
"Turn around." Ryujin said softly. Again? Total Eclipse of the Heart?
"What?" She raised the towel that she was holding. Seriously, does she own a factory of towels? She always have those. Same brand and two different colors. White and green. I just did what she had said and turned my back to her. I also opened the lid of the bottled water to drink. How refreshing.
"Next time, I'm really going to bring a spare of clothes for you." Ryujin whispered after she's done putting the towel on my back.
"Yeah. You should. Your idea of date requires to sweat a lot." Ryujin chuckled and we both sat down. But, I really don't mind. I get to enjoy her unique ways.
"Pfft. Whatever. Is your knee okay now? That's what you get for being a dumbass." Ryujin teased and hissed. I'm not really annoyed. I'm used to her antics and liking on getting in to my nerves.
"Yeah." I answered thrifty.
"Did you enjoyed the date?" Ryujin asked curiously. She was looking at me expectantly. Payback's a Bitch.
"Nah." I saw how Ryujin's shoulders held down in defeat. Ehh? She also hissed and rolled her eyes. "I'm kiddinggg!" I shook her shoulder with a laugh. "I really did. Thank you."
Ryujin's face lit up. "Good. You're oh-so welcome, baby. Always." She winked at me. Why does she have to though? She looked dumb.
I'm lying. She looked cute, people. She really is.
"Psh. Don't wink." I rolled my eyes.
"Why? It makes your heart flutter?" Ryujin said while smirking. "I kind of know the effect I have on people. I'm used to it. Don't worry."
"Eww." I lifted the side of my lips in disgust. She's so cocky.
"Pfft. A miracle that you didn't slapped me for saying that." I glared at her. "What? You've always been violent."
"Shut up." I felt my cheeks heating up and I looked away. Her laugh is contagious. It was distracting.
"Seriously, Lia. You don't have to deny nor hide it. It's my mission to make your heart flutter. Everyday."
Those words, really.
Ryujin never ceased to amaze me. Even the tiniest detail about her personality. Also, how much of a sweet talker she was. Who wouldn't like to be pampered by her?
Lololol. Surpriseddddd?! I've finished writing the chapters until 26 just earlier. If I remember correctly, I deleted this after chapter 24. Excited for you all to read the next scenes.
