ABACONINGS
I was sitting in bed throwing a ball up and down while Mabel was playing with a tape recorder and Dipper was trying to solve some amazing unsolvable puzzle.
Mabel was making some noises but I had them tuned out. Living with the twins for so long I found a way to switch to autopilot from time to time when they got too loud. But Dipper was having none of it.
"Mabel, could you knock it off? I'm trying to solve this intelligence puzzle but it seems impossible." Dipper told her as I stopped throwing the ball.
"Isn't it supposed to be like near impossible?" I looked at him as he scoffed.
"Nearly, so it's possible!" He told me as he was still trying to solve it.
"Maybe you're just not smart enough." Mabel told him which pissed him off.
"...We'll see about that." Dipper said storming out the room.
"Dipper wait-" I tried to stop him but he didn't listen I just followed behind him. "Dipper don't tell me you got offended by what Mabel said" I told him when I was close enough.
"Here it says a certain mushroom can increase your brain power" he shoved the journal in my face as I slowly pushed it away.
"This is ridiculous. You can't really be considering making mushroom stew to solve some dumb puzzel" I told him but he didn't listen and just continued onward deeper into the forest. "Dipper I am not coming with you!" I shouted as he stopped and turned around to face me.
"Why?"
"It's a dumb idea? When did going to the forest to get some magical thing benefit you?" He stopped for a second. "I get you want to solve the mystery of this town. But this is not the way" I said as he just turned his back to me and walked deeper to the forest. "Unbelievable" I mumbled walking back home.

I woke up pretty early today. I looked out the window to be faced with the sun up in the sky. I checked the clock on the wall. 6:46 am. Great.
I pushed the covers off of me and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair. I looked in the mirror to see my reflection. No bags under the eyes and my skin didn't look as pale. This was definitely an improvement but I knew i couldn't get used to it. He'll be back.
"Good morning Emma" I heard a robotic voice behind me as I spit put the toothpaste. I turned around to see Waddles on some sort of machine which allowed him to move and talk.
"Uh. Hi" I replied as I put my toothbrush away and fixed my hair. "Why can you talk all of the sudden?" I questioned him.
"I ate what Dipper had prepared for himself last night because my tummy hurt." He explained as I chuckled.
"So you are like smart and all now?" I asked him putting on a pair of earrings and finally turned around to face him instead of looking at the reflection of the mirror.
"Yes" he simply said as he walked away. "Follow me" the two of us walked to the twins room.
"What?" I questioned him as he got off his machine and ran to the puzzle Dipper was working on yesterday. "Woah" I picked it up. It was complete. "You did this?" I looked at him as he oinked. I heard Dipper shift in his bed as he soon opened his eyes.
"Ah I already feel smarter!" He said as he looked over to me. I realized I was still holding the puzzle.
"Emma did you solve it?!" Dipper got out of bed as he took it from me.
"No, I did" the robotic voice spoke as Dipper turned around.
"Waddles?" Dipper asked as I nodded.
"Waddles! What happened to you? Have you been possessed by the spirit of a nerd!?" I looked towards Mabel who seemed to have woken up.
"No he ate the soup thing dipper prepared for himself last night and got smart" I explained as she walked over to the pig.
"I understand that my transformation may be vexing, but I have prepared a presentation-" unfortunately he bumped into the computer and knocked it over "Forgive me. My pig arms are cute and useless." He said as I chuckled.
"THIS ISN'T RIGHT! THE PIG GOES OINK! THE PIG GOES OINK!!!" Mabel shouted trying to hug Waddles but Dipper stepped between the two of them.
"Now the pig goes wherever he can shine the light of knowledge into the darkness of ignorance." The robotic voice spoke again.
"Mabel this is great. He possesses knowledge almost no human has!" He said. "Wait can you teach me how to solve the What-the-heck-ahedron?" Dipper turned to the pig.
"Of course. I can also teach you a lot of other things as well" he said.
"Man, I am loving this new Waddles." Dipper said as Mabel nodded.
"He is, different." She hesitated before speaking.
"Dude, that cart is amazing. You and me should go invent stuff!" Dipper said as I interrupted.
"But Dipper you know it's friday and we read the notebooks I found in the Shack on fridays" I told him as he sighed.
"Listen I dont know how long the mushrooms will work for! We have to use his brain as much as we could." Dipper explained.
"I- but" I tried to reason but him and Waddles already were walking away.

Dipper and Waddles were inventing gadgets all day. I tagged along just because Dipper made me but I wasn't helpful at all. Usually I am the one with the crazy ideas on the spot but now we had the genius pig so I was practically useless.
"Emma can you pass me the bolts?" Dipper asked as I practically threw the bad at him. "...Uh thanks" he said as he took one and insert it in the machine to keep it in place. "This is your greatest invention yet! It could solve every problem of mankind!" Dipper told Waddles as I rolled my eyes.
"And bring me potatoes. Delicious potatoes." Waddles said as he was looking at the machine.
"What the heck is going on here?" Mabel said as she walked in.
"Mabel, you are just in time to behold our greatest achievement. The Smarticle Accelerator" Waddles told her as she stared at him not understanding.
"The machine makes you smart!" I called out explaining fear and worry came over her.
"But you are already smart enough!" She told him as Dipper shook his head.
"But this one is permanent!" Dipper explained.
"WHAT!?" She shouted. I was feeling bad for Mabel. She was about to lose the only one who understood her.
"Soon, your pig is gonna be famous! Meeting with scientists, presidents... I wonder if I could teach him to wear pants." Dipper said as I got up from the corner I was in and walked up to the group.
"The whole world? But when will you have time for us? I'm your best friend." Mabel asked as Waddles walked in the machine.
"I'm still your friend, Mabel, but I'm helping people now." He said as he turned it on.
"But what about helping me? Do you really want to spend your whole life in meetings with dumb smart guys? This brain junk has made you forget who you are. Don't you remember... us?" As if because of Mabel's words Waddles life flashed before him.
He turned one of the buttons probably reversing the effect. "I'm sorry, Dipper. In my last eight seconds of consciousness I want you to know that you wont need me around to solve the mystery of science. You with Emma are more than capable of uncovering great mysteries. Also i like my tummy tickled" He said. Right then everything flashed white and Waddles walked out on 4 legs. He jumped into Mabel's arms and oinked.
I was about to leave when Dipper grabbed my wrist. "Hey Emma" he said as I turned around.
"I'm sorry. I uh. I acted like an idiot. But Waddles was right. We are a great team. And. And I don't know what I'm gonna do without you" He said as I smiled a bit.
"You're right" I told him as he smiled. "You did act like an idiot" I said as his smile fell. "But an Idiot I can forgive. Come here" I said opening my arms as he looked at me for a bit. "Oh come on don't leave me hanging" I said as he slowly came towards me and hugged me.
We stayed like that for a second until Mabel walked past us. "Now kiss" She whispered as me and Dipper quickly pushed each other away.
"Anyways. Anyone want some food?" I asked as all of us went to the kitchen.
