School was great, the work was easy, and they were all walking to Luz's favorite store. The cute bell above the door chimed, a male scurrying to come over; "Luz!"
"Joey!!" The witch exclaimed, hugging the male.
He hugged her back tightly, pulling down his sleeves a bit, Luz taking his hand. "Etheir you're itchy or have been doing bad things to yourself." Luz pouted. "But, it has been a long time since you have. So I'm glad you made it this far."
He nodded, patting her shoulder; "I go on a call with my therapist later anyways, you keep me going." He smiled.
"Oh! I brought you something!"
"You know you don't have to." Joey mumbled. "Hello other people who have decided to add more anxiety to my day-"
Amity waved, Gus smiling at him, Willow giving him a small nod, acknowledging that she knew he talked to her. Luz took the thing out from her bag, another small bag, handing it to Joey; "You mentioned one time you really liked these but couldn't find anymore, soo..I made some!"
He opened the little bag, getting giddy, taking out the small sugary treat. "Wait- When did you make that?"
"Last night." Luz said.
"I was with you last night-" Amity blurted out.
The other three, not including Luz, ooed, the Blight shushing them all, her face heating up from slight embarrassment; "We were in a call!"
"Yes we were, though you didn't notice me leave for 4 hours, so I made these." Luz explained.
Joey put the sweet yet sour candy in his mouth; "Even better then the actual thing~" They hummed, taking a few more, putting it in his mouth. "Thank you~"
"You're welcome sweet Joey!" Luz smiled. "I'm going to work, if you can or want to, pass by okay?"
He nodded, giving her a big hug before waving goodbye, the students leaving, continuing down the street. "I still don't understand the relationship between you two Luz." Amity sighed.
"Netheir do I, but he's like a big brother if I knew what they were like." Luz fumbled.
"I'll be your little brother Luz!" Gus exclaimed, side hugging her.
The witch ruffled his hair; "Does this mean you'll have to do as I say?"
"I dunno!"
"Gus, go hug Willow." She demanded.
He snickered, side hugging Willow, the other human messing his hair further. "Amity."
The Blight perked up, looking up ahead at her; "Yes?"
"Why are you so far behind? If you're going to stay back there and not up here with us I might as well hold your hand to keep you up with us." Luz said, offering her palm to the human.
Amity pieced something together, just realizing- "You were that girl with the hood..You took me to the cafe..But I never understood why.." Amity mumbled, taking Luz's hand.
It was warm, somehow it was really warm when it was starting to get chilly outside; "Well there was a big guy following you, I didn't want you to get hurt or anything. He pulled out a weapon as soon as you both crossed the street."
"Wait really?"
"For a few blocks yeah, he wouldn't stop smirking at you etheir. He wasn't the nicest looking man. I'm glad I met you though, you're a very nice human Amity."
There. There it was again. That feeling Amity got whenever Luz said her name. She liked, no, she loved it when the witch said her name. Even if Luz was using it against her, Amity loved when Luz said her name, it gave her butterflies, sometimes even an ache in her chest. "I'm glad I met you too Luz, if I didn't get to meet you, there's a very high chance you would've died."
"Wha- Rude.."
"You're a klutz." Amity giggled, messing up her hair. "Now come on or we'll both get left behind."
Luz squeezed her hand, shaking her head slowly, giggling; "I might as well be left behind with you Amity."

"Okay, you've had seven (7) hot chocolates, three (3) plates of five (5) macaroons, and have spent two (2) hours in the same spot." Luz sighed. "Go home."
"But why?~~~"
"Emira, you're sweet, but I'm trying to work. If you don't cooperate we'll have to kick you out."
"Well why aren't you kicking my sister out? She's been here since you started!"
"Because she's paying me to kick you out, also you're at a big table and other people want to sit." Luz said. "If I promise to call you after my shift, will you leave?"
"I dunno..A promise seems kinda childish and easily lied about.."
"Sarah! We got a incomprehensible rich girl!"
Our very amazing ex-bus driver walked over to her, patting Luz's head, picking up Emira by her collar; "Etheir you get out or I'll throw you in the garbage."
"O-On second thought I can try again next time- Amity- Do pay for me-" Emira babbled, pushing herself away from Sarah.
She quickly scurried out, Luz picking up her plates; "Thank you Sarah!"
"No problem kid, Bo wants to talk to you by the way." Sarah said, going back to the kitchen.
Luz took the rest of the dishes to the kitchen as well, placing them gently by the sink, going over to Bo; "Is there something wrong?" Luz asked.
"Hm? No. Sarah just wants you to get away from the pervs."
The cute bell above the door chimed, Luz looking over at the front. "I'll deal with them Bo, they'll pester you til they get me to serve." Luz said, pulling out her little notepad.
She decorated it with small stickers she got from some kids that come by with their parents, but this was a long time ago, she needed to peel these off and get new ones soon. "Get ready for blue and red in our future Luz." Bo sighed.
"I will."
She pulled out her pen, clicking it, resisting the urge to gag; "What can I get for you?"
"Are you on the menu?" One teased.
"I'm sorry, was that a joke? If it was, could you elaborate it?"
"What I mean sugar cube, is if I can buy you."
"That's odd, I don't seem to have a price tag on me. I guess you're blind. I'll go get you a braille menu." Luz said, just about to walk off.
He touched her somewhere very very inapropriate, Luz wacking him with her notepad. "Right then, Bo. I'm taking my break." Luz hissed.
"K, careful babe."
*Again, this is Bo we're talking about, she calls Luz girlfriend for the fun of it
The witch clicked her pen, gently placing her notepad on the table, the other two males getting a tad bit nervous. "Amity, would you be so kind to call the police?~"
The Blight nearly choked on her tea, clearing her throat nervously; "You're not going to kill him..Are you?"
"I certainly hope not!~" Luz said, her tone sounding way to cheerful.
"Woah- Sugar- N-No need to be so brutal- W-We can leave-"
"Bidding! Bidding! Who's going to win! Luz or the huge pervert?" Bo called out, walking from table to table.
"Ooh ooh! Luz! She will! I've been waiting for a this!" A customer exclaimed, handing Bo $5.
The witch grabbed the male by his collar, dragging him out of the cafe, other customers cheering, having heard of Luz and what she could do if men were this bad. Amity put the phone up against her ear, Gus and Willow growing weary. "9|| what's your emergency?"
"Lilith?"
"Human? Oh great. What's she doing?"
"Erm- This guy touched her- Uhm- Tail. And now she's uh- Planning to murder him?-"
Lilith sighed heavily, Luz currently keeping the males face in the ground; "How do you like it if I touched you like this huh?" Luz hissed.
He winced, Luz pulling him back up, pushing him roughly to the window, the male bunking in to it, blood dripping down his nose, falling back, knocking out. "Oh great she won-" Amity blurted out. "You're not going to arrest her are you?-"
"If I wanted to, I couldn't. She's a minor but if we watch the tape it's obvious it was $3×ual harassment so she's got herself covered. We'll send an ambulance over to pick him up, get me a black coffee with a spoonful of sugar."
"Uh- Sure. That it?"
"And a plate of macaroons, they're to die for."
"Okay, goodbye.."
Lilith clicked her tounge, hanging up on Amity. "Those who payed for Luz to win go back inside, you're getting two (2) macaroons."
Few cheered, the rest groaning, not having bet on the witch. Luz went over to Amity, the human cupping her cheek, wiping off a bit of blood; "Are you happy?"
"Are you happy?" Luz copied.
"Luz." "Luz!"
"Answer-" "Answer-"
"My. " "My."
"Luz!" "Me!"
"You're straight."
"Yes I'm happy." Luz blurted out.
"That's what I thought." Amity huffed. "You happy you knocked out a pervert?"
"He touched my tail, he deserved it." Luz stated, crossing her arms.
Amity ruffled her hair, the witch giggling; "Doofus, get back to work."
"M'kay!~"
"S..Someone help me.."
