Chan hummed as he set out clothes for Hyunjin to wear once he comes out of the bathroom after a warm shower. The younger had went in five minutes ago and since then there has been no sound from the other side which actually Chan found strange but he just let the younger be. Maybe he was just taking his time. Although, he did make sure of the fact that Hyunjin didn't lock his door in case something happens as his body is very weak right now.

The boy smiled to himself as he his mind wandered about Hyunjin and how it felt to be with him again. Keeping the younger safe and secure in his arms and covering him with warmth and love. It felt like a dream to him. The younger was just too much fairy like to exist in real life and nobody felt it more than Chan. He could still feel Hyunjin's plump lips on his own along with his soft hands that were intertwined with him for the whole last night.

Chan felt good, knowing that Hyunjin was happy and that he trusted him. He knew how much he mattered to the younger. If there was anything or anyone keeping him alive and sane, it was his husband, Chan. The elder felt the same too. He remembers the guilt and heavy weight that filled his chest once he heard Hyunjin scream when the man touched him. He felt as if he was a coward and jerk for making Hyunjin go through that. He went insane without his Hyunjin around him. They both needed each other more than anything else.

The boy's mind was always filled with Hyunjin and his thoughts. His body shivered at the thought of not being with Hyunjin last night when the other had a nightmare. Hyunjin was whimpering in his sleep almost half of the night and Chan had to shush him gently so that the younger can sleep again. He didn't want to wake up the younger because he knew how hard it is for Hyunjin to sleep right now. Waking him up wasn't the solution. That's why he stayed up last night for Hyunjin, to check up on him and take care of the fact that he wasn't scared in his sleep. The elder would tighten his grip around Hyunjin's waist and give a gentle squeeze to his hands along with pulling him closer whenever the younger whimpered in his sleep. He felt at peace every time that Hyunjin calmed down after Chan whispered 'ssh' and 'Hyung is here' in his ears while he slept.

"Hyunjin, are you okay?" Chan asked randomly from outside just to make sure that the younger was alright. His brows furrowed in confusion when he received no reply.
"Hyunjin?" He repeated, moving himself away from the bed and walking towards the bathroom's door.
"Jinnie...Are you alright?" Chan asked again. He used his right hand to slightly knock on the door while his left one was on the knob.
"I am coming in if you don't reply this time." Chan stated before he quieted down to hear any sound from inside, but there was none.
"Jinnie, I am coming in." He said before he turned the door knob and pushed the door to go in.

"Hyunjin, no-" Chan whispered out as soon as he stepped inside the bathroom and met Hyunjin's eyes. The younger was standing in front of the mirror while staring at himself without a blink. His T-shirt was gone and his eyes were fixated on the painfully dark bruises and marks that lingered there. The elder's heart almost broke while studying the broken look on Hyunjin's face. Just how much the younger is disgusted from himself. He let out a gasp when he saw Hyunjin's wrist and forearms that were covered with nail scratches, why didn't he notice them before?

"Hyunjin." Chan called. He knew exactly what was going through the younger's head after seeing all the marks on himself. He could read him like an open book. A sigh left his mouth, before he went ahead and stood behind Hyunjin who was still unphased.
